Vice President JD Vance was asked about NCTC Director Joe Kent resigning from his position over a disagreement surrounding the Iran conflict.
This could have been a challenging question for Vance to answer because both Vance and Kent are funded and supported by the same ideological donor, Billionaire Peter Thiel. [FYI Tucker is also in this stable] Thiel is a libertarian minded billionaire within Big Tech and not necessarily an ideological fan of Donald Trump or MAGA. Palantir is one of Thiels companies with CEO Alex Karp running it. Palantir is a major contractor within the national security apparatus.
JD Vance adroitly navigates the answer by saying once the President makes a decision, the role of all subordinates is to get behind that decision, and never openly compromise your leadership.
“It’s one thing to have a disagreement of opinion…That said, whatever your view is, when president of the United States makes a decision, it’s your job to help make that decision as effective and successful as possible…If you are on the team and you can’t help implement the decisions of his administration, he has the right to make those decisions, then it’s a good thing for you to resign. And I think that’s exactly right. It’s fine to disagree, but once the president makes a decision, it’s up to everybody who serves in his administration to make it as successful as possible.” WATCH:
.
It’s obvious Team Thiel didn’t agree with the policy decision to attack Iran, that’s more of a neocon Team Ellison/Adelson policy move. However, JD Vance is very correct in how the Team Thiel horses within the administration should respond to the decision in trying to make it as successful as possible.
Thiel <-> Musk <-> Ellison

Statement looks alright. There’s a lot of anti Tulsi crap making the rounds today. Loomer, Dilley, et al, seem to have an axe to grind with Tulsi.
Podcast Grifter Gang™️.
Those two are just loud obscene and obnoxious.
They command attention not with quality work but high decibel noise.
We can usually enjoy Dilley for humor, but, there are times, such as this, when I have to wonder. Also, ironic choice of words, as, Dilley more or less calls TC, MK, NF, CO, etc a podcast grifter gang. I want to think that Dilley knows what he’s talking about, but, days like today give me pause.
Dilley barely made it through high school. He’s a former certified personal trainer all hopped up on self help books. Do deeper dives on these idiots. He is a simpleton, a dichotomous thinker with cognitive rigidity. AKA a “blockhead”. I dare you to try and engage him in anything strategic or worldly. He gets flustered and blocks you immediately.
We enjoy the humor of the content creators he requires put HIS name on THEIR work.
Dilley talks smack and puffs cigars.
Big difference.
Respectfully, I didn’t know who any initials after Tucker Carlson belonged to. Maybe give a few more keystrokes or a “phone a friend” card for those of us less “with it”.
“They command attention not with quality work but high decibel noise.”
Reminds me of some Rock-N-Roll bands. What they lack in talent they make up for in volume.
There was some techno band in the 90’s that had on their CD jacket…..”Don’t mistake lack of talent as Genius”.
“There’s a lot of anti Tulsi crap making the rounds today.”
Flak is heaviest when she’s over the target……….
I love Tulsi. I think she is genuine.
So tired of the obvious “maga division”, it’s too stupidly obvious, balkanized interests galvanizing for attention.
None of this is a new development.
They’ve all been pissed off at Tulsi since she left the Plantation.
When the right people go negative on someone like Gabbard, it’s because she’s a threat to them or their sponsors.
JD Vance made the wisest choice “Never make someone else’s problems your own”. He provided a simple answer.
Yes. However, it would be prudent to make note of Vance’s and other team Thiel preferred positions on Trump-MAGA policies because, unless Rubio vows to continue Trump’s policies, the Team Thiel positions have a good chance of becoming the default policies of the next administration starting in January 2029 November 2028…..
We also can’t forget that the Sea Island crowd loves Rubio because he is seemingly easy to manipulate, or at least he was back in 2016 when he was running for President.
Rubio was definitely an attendee at the Sea Island meetings but he has seemingly evolved his positions on many U.S. / MAGA policies as preferred and implemented by President Trump.
IMO as far as Rubio is concerned, we need to wait until he officially announces his candidacy for POTUS and then begins to stake out the array of preferred policies for which he will advocate if elected.
I know Rubio wanted out and to collect his rewards. He wasn’t running for reelection to the senate and had floated that he wanted to be the NFL commissioner. He was told no and that he had to run again for the senate. I think he felt trapped and Trump gave him his way out. Rubio’s little man ego craves prestige. Rubio will run and he’s going to cater to MAGA to get elected while not being owned by Conservative Inc. I believe Rubio is a relatively smart politician and has better understanding of the reality than most. I know he felt betrayed and trapped when forced to run for senator again. If Rubio doesn’t run they’re going to have to offer something big and prestigious.
So DeSantis is a no-go for the Sea Island group??
Let’s hope so!
Dunno. We know what he does with his power.
” the Team Thiel positions have a good chance of becoming the default policies of the next administration starting in January 2029 November 2028…..”
GB at this point, I question how much we can stop them.
Their march towards shoving the entire planet into their tech cage hasn’t slowed down at all- and so far, no one we’ve elected sure is stopping this from happening.
At this point in history, Marco Rubio seems to have captured a majority of the Republican voters’ eyes towards the 2028 election.
I don’t know how many of Team Thiel’s policy positions he favors.
Not sure this is accurate.
I have not heard Rubio ever support the Green Agenda…..
😎
Funny. It actually crossed my mind yesterday when I saw a Rubio clip that he should go by Mark O’Rubio for the day.
This resignation was intended to be a grenade thrown at Trump’s popularity. Will he next testify at a BS congressional hearing?
Excellent answer. Very smooth.
Sounds a lot like Regitiger’s answer last night.: Those who disagree with the job assigned them by POTUS should step down and resign.
Check.
However, Vance sidesteps the issue of turning your resignation letter into a diatribe regarding our President’s proactive actions against a nuclear Iran. A strategy btw that Kent himself had previously championed.
I agree Judith. It was just a little too political of an answer. Kent tried to hurt the President. Vance did not want to get his hands dirty on this one. The Sea Island in him leaked out. The Sea Island people were fine with President Trump being put in jail and having DeSantis on the ballot.
Agreed. Vance was smooth. I would like him to have expressed disappointment in how Kent handled his difference of opinion — that disagreeing is fine but not a reason to attack after the fact when your opinion will not contribute to a positive outcome. And most especially when your public attack can do nothing except in your mind advance your career.
Vance should has said he was disappointed to see Kent using his job trying to advance himself while doing nothing for the American people.
I read Kent’s actions more as a person with poor emotional regulation trying to “win”. I know many have speculated on something more insidious. Either way, I think he blew up his career in politics and I’m not sad he’s gone. Especially after reading 8-10 messages and posts where he advocated eliminating Iran’s nuclear arsenal without any concern for an “imminent threat”.
It became more insidious when he signed up to speak with Carlson and Old Yeller too.
Iran is not a war, it’s a military operation. It’s a small piece of a bigger picture.
President Trump isn’t going to do everything Israel wants in Iran. They will get parts of what they want wherein those parts also align with U.S. interests.
As recently as this week, I read PDJT on Truth Social saying “war”.
I cringed when I saw that.
It isn’t diplomacy. Iran thinks it’s been war for 47 years. There is a lot of bombing, shooting, and killing. There is a common three letter English word for that.
Yeah…makes me sigh sometimes…
But I always recall the words of the late, great Scott Adams…
“Trump detractors take him literally, not seriously…
Trump supporters take him seriously, not literally…”
He is not the most precise in his wording…and that does create heartburn sometimes.
But we know what he means…
President Trump says a lot of different things all the time. Be deaf to the words, be sighted on ultimate outcomes.
Art of the Deal.
Our society has gotten away from putting principles, our constitution, God first.
They care about feelings, emotions and material.
Decisions based on the latter are foolish.
They are blinded by “self” and cannot see.
🇺🇸✝️🦅
I have a buddy who goes ape listening to Trump but likes his policies. I asked him how hard is it for you not to listen to Trump but watch what he does?
He let me have it saying the Presidents words are important. Which I said that is true, but then he will continue to be outraged.
Then I asked him about Biden and he said his brain was and is dead.
Since PDJT came down the escalator I have not listened to any of his speeches except for the SOTU speeches. It feels/sounds to me like he is talking to us like we are kindergartners and I don’t like to listen to him. However, daily I am watching what he does and has done. That is the most important, not what he says. MAGA all the way.
How about Barry Soetero?
His words hold any meaning compared to his actions?
He could read the heck out of a teleprompter, but said nothing and did less.
Some folks just gotta keep chasing the squirrels .🐿️🐿️
Can’t focus.
Gotta keep panicking over— the sky is falling! 🌠
Non-fricking-stop.
Always said if you want to listen to Trump, turn the sound off an watch his body language. 2016 – his message was I am gonna kick butt, and he did. No surprises in that messaging, when others were hung up on his own word salads.
2024 – he has come back much more seasoned and deliberate, but when he says he is gonna kick butt we know we can count on him to do exactly that. He is far more nuanced and also direct and on target this term – and callout of the deep state for what it always has been – the partisan enemy from within.
Not just calling out the deep state. He’s destroying it. And that leads us to a clue about the latest pawn they’re using to try and hinder his progress, one Mr. Deluded Kent.
True. He doesn’t have an attorney’s mindset. That’s because he’s not dealing in what is (law) except he will not break the law.
President Trump sees and deals in what could be.
He’s proven time and again he’s a genius at doing that.
Furthermore, he’s a builder. He takes what he imagines and creates it in reality.
Getting bogged down in semantics doesn’t do us any good.
I don’t care what President Trump calls it, so long as it efficiently and completely kills the bad guys, destroys their war making capabilities, and has a clearly defined end point.
Nothing about the way President Trump is handling Iran makes me cringe.
It’s something “they” might use as an impeachment tool.
Congress technically has to declare “wars”.
Has Congress done that?
So, perhaps Operation Epic Fury is the best way to say it.
There has always been an ideological “war” with Iran under the current theocracy. Roll with it.
He made the mistake of using simple, accurate, language.
The “war” isn’t with Iran. It is with traitors within: RINOs, Democrats, Communists, Soros agents, Deep state, and those whose religious purpose includes killing non muslims.
Message discipline is an “area for improvement” for Trump (as my elementary school teachers used to say).
i like to call it “proactive conflict resolution”. 😎 😁
At Least Kent didn’t Stick around to LEAK and Back-Stab.
JD Correct… have your Input.. If you can’t “Get On Board” and Accomplish the Presidents Decision;
You MUST Resign.!!!
Kent had already been caught leaking to backstab. He even admitted such to the investigation.
As such, he had already been isolated and excluded. But for some reason, he wasn’t fired. Nor did he resign when caught.
He had no more value as an insider. The only thing left was for him to backstab by noisy public resignation.
Guess he thought he had optimally timed his public betrayal. I think it eould have been more effective at the start, and was declining in efficacy the longer he waited.
Maybe he was waiting to secure his future.
<Kent had already been caught leaking to backstab.>
That makes him a dead man to President Trump…
He’s sending Kent to the crypt tonight 🙂
Doesn’t he want to run for office in Wash state – where he needs solid anti-Trump creds to even get in the door?
Apparently he has a new gig lined up with Thiel and co.
That action by Thiel is noted.
He already lost twice in congressional races. Now, to get his democrat bonafides, you might be correct.
…. Kent was leaking and back-stabbing before he “left”.
He’d been left out for some time due to that.
Kent is doing a Tucker interview today… stay tuned to see if he doesn’t back-stab.
…during the interview,
will the hamas liking ( is ra el not liking ) new
spouse be quietly providing q cards to k …?
I do not know
Love thy neighbord
Exactly that, was my first thought. Kent needed to be gone ASAP if he folded so thoroughly to that kind of pressure.
It could that the u s a
(recognizing there was a friendly leaker from k to h a m a s)
that some in the u s a
may have tried some double agent type of testing / perusing into h a m a s, for awhile.
(i.e. it can be handy to know some things, without h a m a s knowing, the usa knows. )
[ and maybe, that information is sort of useful in the last month ? hmmm… I do not know.]
love thy neighbors
Oops, I missed the Tucker interview…on purpose.
The part JD left out is that Kent timed his exit at the peak of media frenzy in order to begin his paid pundit career. Notice his upcoming “interviews” with Tucker and Levin. Don’t be surprised his signing on with a media co. for an obscene amount of money or a seven-figure book deal. Grifters gotta grift. GOOD RIDDENCE.
The Vice President answered the question exactly how I would have wanted him too.
Well said, Vice President Vance!
J
“JD Vance adroitly navigates the answer…”
Adroitly…great word choice.
Looks like Trump is mitigating pariah states that drive continuous conflict, eventually graduating to nuclear blackmail. When NORK graduated, their Scared Mountain conveniently collapsed, burying everyone and everything underneath.
Simultaneously, Trump gains control of pariah’s fossil fuels to leverage China and ensure the $ remains reserve currency. Winning bigly but much work remains.
I’m not too worried about tech transhumanists and suspect they will be eventually nuetered.
I do not want adroit. I want a MAGA battering ram. MAGA.
Agreed, we have been fed up to here with clever adroitness.
But we got President Trump back, so we are
extremely grateful.
Vance is learning.
OR is he learing? …🤷♀️😉
Politics is the art of the possible. May need another indoor sport?
👍 💯 . I’m sick to death of smooth talkers. Of course the blatant attempt to kill us is no better.
The only person working for we the people and not himself and his money backers is President Trump.
if he was a leaker (as reported by Fox and others), then it’s pretty safe to say he wasn’t working in the President’s or America’s best interest. Leakers should always be purged or prosecuted, depending upon what they leak.
How could anyone trust a leaker on anything?
If Mullah don’t fit, you musta’ quit!
Made me chuckle this morning/afternoon – thank you:)
Yep Moola is the root of all evil – or the love of it is.
It was an excellent answer. 💁🏻♀️
It’s funny that everyday voters actually think they are in control of the government.
Well sort of. Correct for all of the minions. But once you become VP you should be somewhat above the status of just another administration lackey. But what do I know? Apparently nothing.
Judging by your username, you know quite a bit, friend.
With our President Trump…everyone is an administration LACKEY….everyone!
I wonder what President Trump thinks about his VP hiring “Chuckles” Carlson’s son Buckley last year as a Deputy Press Secretary and if he thinks that is worrisome?
Trump is Hercules tasked with cleaning the Augean stables. Have his back.
Even the ExO follows the Captain’s orders. At least on any ship I was ever on.
It’s XO
No need for the E in front. And yes, having served 6 years in the USN, everyone on the ship answers directly or indirectly to the Captain.
Generally, the XO on a ship is, among other things, in charge of day to day inspections and general crew professionalism. Often times, the XO is known as a hard ass,
because of his enforcement duties, aside from being second in command.
I thought his answer was very *thoughtful* and definitely the absolute only answer!
You got a job – you got a boss – Like it or Leave!!!
May have posted this earlier – Glenn Beck showed a screen shot from X – T. Carlson interviewing Kent on his podcast tonight and JK was at some type of religious thingy with C Owens today… Hmmmm
Please provide a link to the decoder ring for that post!
If I remember correctly in the tv show 24 the NCTC was filled with traitors.
Art imitates life.
Adroitly: An adverb meaning to act in a clever, skillful, or dexterous manner, particularly when handling difficult situations. TY Sundance for reminding me how my wife and I got through raising our six children.
Yes, children are quite adroit at weaving and bobbing around parents. ; )
Lol, thus your username – good one!
Why is Musk is in the middle??
Because he’s a tool, a means to the end.
President Trump Just ENDED Joe Kent’s Entire Career With One Brutal Screenshot of an Old Tweet
“@realDonaldTrump We should not sit and wait for the next attack, wipe Iran’s ballistic capability out and get our troops out of Iraq – they are only targets now. No US WIA/KIA is a tribute to the professionalism of our military and intel professionals not Iranian restraint.”
Joe Kent – X – 7:38 AM – 1/8/20
The GWP also finds more tweets from Kent that directly contradicts Kent’s current claim. See below for more.
President Trump Just ENDED Joe Kent’s Entire Career With One Brutal Screenshot of an Old Tweet | The Gateway Pundit
I respect his former service, but I think Kent was promised things.
It was a good answer for someone who wasn’t willing to show his support.
And one more thing that I have to get off my chest…the “coalition” is made up of millions of Americans at the grassroots and their representatives in office, up to the president himself. Why is it that every disagreement on the Republican side is somehow ridiculously portrayed by the mockingbird media as a “fracture in the coalition?” The media’s tiring pattern, on any issue championed by Republicans, is to find one, two, or three people on our side who disagree and to toll proclamations of disarray and fracture. If it weren’t for Kent’s ostensible MAGA support to-date, I’m sure we’d be reading stories of how he’d apparently “grown” before abandoning his position.
The state media is not even creative enough anymore to be considered tedious. I think “Fake” is reaffirmed as the proper designation.
J
Because they are basing their comments on a comparison to the Rinocrat Party of Diversity. The Rinocrats mandate that everyone support and endorse as normal everyone else’s abnormality. Diversity of color, religion, gender, etc. is endorsed by the Rinocrats. The only form of diversity that is not allowed or tolerated in the Rinocrat cult is diversity of thought.
Any divergence of thinking is considered heresy by the Rinocrats so when they see it those outside their cult they can only call it out as a rebellious revolution because that is what it would be considered within their cult.
George discusses Kent and his deployments among other interesting side notes such as what Kent’s been up to all these years.
You won’t see any of George’s data on the mainstream news cycle riots.
How Joe Kent Was Probably Caught Leaking – Canary Trap?
0.o
Just an FYI: Joe Kent Joins The Tucker Carlson Show, tonight, live.
Kent going the MTG route.
One’s sanity is a terrible thing to waste.
I very much doubt…..
Time will tell.
via Ace of Spades HQ , some interesting Iran News for Joe Kent:
“… SMOD linked this report. I have no idea how credible it is:
Yesterday a commenter reported that Iranian civilians were passing intel to Israel via Starlink, telling them where Basij troops were on the streets, so that they could be targeted for airstrikes.
This Jerusalem Post story has more:
Thanks to Michael the Texan for that link. Meanwhile, beckster sends this report:
And now Israel has Iranian Resistance allies, a Persian Maquis.
hey, bro!
Kent is being given credit for “resigning on principle”. Sounds nice, but is likely not the case. If he was identified as a leaker and excluded from national security meetings, his value to whoever was getting his leaks was suddenly zero. The market for his services went away and so did he. Now he’s out on all these talk shows trying to preserve his image. Good luck with that.
I hope the President doesn’t say another word about Kent. He said all he needed to yesterday. Don’t give him any more “standing”.
Only democrats make that point he resigned on principle. The MAGA base is 100% behind the President.
excellent. I could not agree more with this plain and simple and no nonsense guidance from the VP. I stated similar opinions on this matter. anyone who has a personal moral delimna has the responsibility and the duty to consult with the President Directly through their uppers or resign. There is no middle area that should allow a person to hold such views contrary to ANY President for any reason, and remain silent about it and hold the office and work against policies they do not personally agree with.
and that takes me to the bigger point. We KNOW there are many holdouts, never trumpers, who are still in government, some in incredibly important roles. And yet, they don’t resign. This is not going to end well. All it takes are rumours and whispers to create discord and uncertainty. At a time when we are effectively at war, is a particularly sensitive time that everyone work to their level best to effect the policies of the President EVEN IF THEY HAVE DOUBTS. Either you do the job your very best, or leave.
there has to be some way to find out who these people are that are not doing their level best and root them out. It’s a problem that must be solved.
God Bless America
“many holdouts, never trumpers, who are still in government, some in incredibly important roles. And yet, they don’t resign. This is not going to end well.“
Not going to end well FOR THEM.
Always a pleasure to see elected officials who are responsible to the electorate telling the donor class to shut the f#&k up.
Correct. The CEO relies upon a multitude of advisors, policy-experts, and other insiders / outsiders (many non-experts). There is almost never 100% consensus. The CEO is the decision-maker. There is no shortage of unhappy folks after a decision is made. Just ask Vindman, Boasberg, McConnell, Ryan, Warner, Massie, Rand, MTG, and the hens from the view.
I think that this nation is extremely fortunate to have hired someone who, from his spectacular success as a private citizen, knows how to be the “Chief Executive Officer.” Especially in his second term, he knows how to assemble a team. And, he knows how to manage them. He knows how to gather inputs, make an executive decision, and then let them do it.
“The Apprentice” was a very popular fictional television show. Trump, with his usual flair and great relish, played the part to the hilt and obviously had fun doing it. (As did the other actors.) But, it was … fiction. You can’t get to where Trump did by actually treating people that way. But we laughed anyway. “All in good fun.”
The only “[b|m]illionaire President” that we have had before him, IIRC, was Jimmy Carter. But his business, agriculture, was fundamentally different. The two skill-sets do not coincide.
Other Presidents – Abraham Lincoln immediately comes to mind – were notorious “military meddlers.”
The 2020 loss and 4-year break gave him an opportunity to learn from first-term missteps, to formulate a series of robust policy plans and changes from historical orthodoxy, and to assemble a more formidable team.
All due respect, my take is that Trump’s plan was put together many years ago – ‘way before 2020 – and he is carrying it out beautifully. It is quite like a jigsaw puzzle with all of the pieces falling into place exactly as planned. Just my opinion.
I don’t believe most have a understanding of where Kent was raised. It is important. The Willamette Valley of Oregon is a breeding ground for Liberals, make believe Republicans, Libertarian types (closet Democrats), and anti Federal Government hard core Socialists. Oregon wanted to join the Union as a slave state. For well over one hundred years there has been a Socialist Party in the state. Kent was raised in Portland. He ran for Congress across the river from Portland. I relocated to the Willamette Valley thirty eight years ago taking a promotion with the company I worked with. I know what a Conservative is and isn’t. I was raised in North Central South Dakota, spent time in North Dakota, Southern Colorado, Wyoming, and now in Oregon.
It would take more than a Exorcism to remove all of the Marxist indoctrination Kent has been exposed to.
He’s not a victim……
There is one Commander-in-Chief. Beneath him, there is a vast and capable team. If you cannot, by your conscience or what-have-you, continue to be a part of that team, then you should take it upon yourself to leave it.
That being said, however, I also definitely sense that this man’s job performance has been inadequate for some time. And, if you were in that(!) position and “leaking,” well, that’s grounds for termination “at least.” So, maybe this person saw the handwriting on the wall, and unwisely made a “parting shot” on his way to the tarmac.
I guess it is me, but I am not a fan of his answer. It sounds like, and I could be wrong, that he is saying, “I hear ya, but POTUS made the decision, and we have to get behind it whether we agree or not or leave.” I might have missed it, but did Vance follow up with his support of Trump’s Iran decision?
I respectfully suggest that it was not his place to express “his support.” While he, of course, is the direct successor to that command position, he is not now in it. I do not expect “team members” (most especially this one …) to express their “personal opinions” about the Commander’s decisions. In fact, I would consider it highly unprofessional to do so.
Vance is, quite clearly, “a professional.” And, he is very actively involved on a daily basis. Unlike other “Veeps” that I can think of, who were (to put it politely …) “spare tires.” 🛞
The two of them obviously coordinate very closely in the messages that they send, leveraging the fact that Vance quite-naturally does so in a very different (yet, complementary …) way. They make quite a team.
Anyone who has served in a leadership position in the military would give that answer, because that’s how it works. Boss solicits inputs/opinions/suggestions, perhaps there is a discussion, maybe some wargaming, then boss makes his decision. Subordinates get behind the decision and make it a success.
So, I suppose, I should now say, “Thank you for your service.”
Are you just being a dikc?
I didnt read it that way.
I’m showing my age , but JD is the definition of a pussy and a squish, all at the same time.
ZERO trust but if it was between him and the devil, I’d pull another McCain.
I’m probably not far behind you in years, but I respectfully disagree with your position. The Vice-President is the one Federal officer for which it is most critical that he, unless he is merely a “spare tire,” must align publicly with and support his Commander. There are far too many people who would like to start crowing about a “wedge” between them.
I respect your position, to be sure, but do not share it.
Thank you Mike, I respect and read all your opinions but JD has a gray area the size of a the Grand Canyon.
I’m snarky and it got my face smacked as a child but served me well as an adult.
He may appear to align with President Trump but let’s never forget Pence on Jan 6.
Fool me once.
Agree.
So you are alligining, spineless, RINO Mike Pence with JD? I just want to be sure I’m reading you correctly.
Ouch
I have the same thought of caution with him.
Agree. Feels like we are seeing Mike Pence II
Vance is much smarter and much more articulate than Pence. He answers and debates so very well. it is difficult not to admire him. Yet where does such a silver tongued person really stand?
Hillbilly Elegy is his book. Apparently in private, Vance’s speech is laced with profanity, a pick up from the grandmother who raised him. Is he just a super realist, a survivor from a very tough background? Does he adapt to get along?
Meemaw taught him a thing or two about voicing practical responses.
Always appreciate the inside baseball. Blessings to Sundance
Not everything is a game of horses. Hitting Iran was the objectively correct thing to do. Strategically and morally
I find it fascinating that Peter Thiel has “Libertarian Leanings” because everything “NEO” Thiel represents and likes is 180 degrees out from the basic beliefs of “Closet Anarchist” Libertarians.
Senator Lisa Merckowski thinks her constituents aren’t smart enough to obtain I D in order to vote. She hopes they are dumb enough to keep on voting her into office though. She’s a RHINO!!!!!! She’s wild-eyed and her mouth is bigger than her mind. Always look to her to disagree with the Trump Administration and Republican party. She would be wise to “Dance with the one who brung her”. But nobody’s ever thought of her as being a team player. She ALWAYS has a different idea than the Coach. Evidently she thinks her constituents are as dumb as she is.
AK has an f’d-up voting system or she wouldn’t even be in the senate, some kind of convoluted ranked-choice horsecrap. She comes from a family of corrupt AK politicians. I think her old man was a corrupt SOB.
Her constituents hate her guts. It’s the system that keeps electing her. No wonder she like corrupt voting systems…..
interesting take on it this morning on Glenn Beck. Kent’s second wife with ties to Alexander Dugan. Sounds plausible due to Kent’s 180 on dealing with Iran to nothing to see with Iran.
have you ever listen to Alexander Dugan ?????
From my point of view here in the peanut gallery, Marco Polo Rubio is looking better all the time to head the ticket…unless, of course, we can get a third Trump term.
JD Vance gave what I believe is the correct answer. Being a Marine, I know that when you are in your bosses office and the door is closed, it is perfectly OK to disagree. But once you have aired your grievances and your boss has made a decision, your job is to go out that door, leave your grievances in the office and carry out his orders. THIS is what LEADERSHIP looks like and is.
Our VP is smooth and eloquent. Question, if Kent was a leaker and the administration knew he was a leaker, why wasn’t his clearance pulled and him terminated? Then, the first thing he does is run to the warm embrace of Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. I don’t think this is the end of this story considering what has been circulating about Carlson this week. It could get very interesting.
So many of these so called “MAGA” mouth pieces….megan, mark levin, Bannon, etc are not MAGA! They ride Trump’s coat tails but don’t really believe in it. They want the attention and so stir up controversy. Sadly they don’t do their homework about the history of Trump, Iran and so many other politicians. Would be nice if they would just concentrate on the history of the democrat party and all the fraud and corruption and hate from the time of the civil war.
nearly all of these people and many more are just hustlers. They don’t really believe in anything except making money. They have all concocted ways of turning a buck off politics. The only skin they have in the game is the paycheck.
With his comms skill-level being extra high, one thing I’ve noticed is how Vance could’ve easily and very effectively done the pivot move here. However, he chose instead to camp out on the Kent issue. And moralize over it. And normalize it. Least that’s what it sounded like to me.
Only way I’m voting for him is when and IF Trump tells me to. (communication skills are not what runs a country the likes of these here United States of America. Not by a long shot.)
Also, the question(er) sounds like a plant.
But JD was correct. Either you’re on the team to make it win or you’re off the team.
Can all of the Vance fanboys PLEASE listen to Sundance? Go back to how Vance was a political CREATION identical to the creation of Obama.
He is never to be trusted.
James Donald David Bowman Heller Vance. Indeed a made up construct with a perfect Mirror Shine.
Vance has openly stated his own stance. Be a good fellow while Trump is the boss. Once Trump is out, you can revert to whatever the Triumvirate of Billionaires wants of you.
It is why I now support a Rubio-Luna ticket for 2028. It would also be one for the history books to have 2 Hispanics at the top of the USA enforcing the Donroe Doctrine over the Americas.
Which then, of course, rather muddies the water as to who you’d really want as a Trump successor. Trump is honest about his policies and decisions. But now Vance advises that once Trump makes a decision, his subordinates should publicly make that decision as effective as possible. So how do we then know where anyone in the administration, other than President Trump, really stands on issues???????
never “openly”?
