Israel Update
We are witnessing biblical developments. It’s hard to miss.
Bear with me—this is a very different post.
You may ask yourself why I am bringing in the Bible. It will become clear as you read.
The Book of Esther and Purim
The Book of Esther is part of the Old Testament. The story it tells is what we have celebrated every year for thousands of years. The celebration is the holiday we call Purim.
We mark it by:
• reading the book in synagogues
• sending each other packages of tasty goodies
• giving money to the poor
• sharing a special meal with family
There is also a custom where people—especially children—dress in costumes as they wish. It is somewhat like Halloween, but without the dark or spooky elements. Some choose costumes representing figures from the story.
The Story (Short Version)
About 2,500 years ago, in Persia (modern-day Iran), there was King Achashverosh. Persia was a vast empire. The king married a Jewish woman named Esther. Her cousin Mordechai was an official who sat at the king’s gate. Haman, a royal advisor, was an evil man. He hated Mordechai, who refused to bow to him.
Because of this, he convinced the king to issue a decree to destroy and kill all the Jews in the empire. Mordechai persuaded Esther to reveal her Jewish identity to the king and intervene. She did. The king then issued another decree allowing the Jews to defend themselves. He also ordered Haman to be hanged.
There is much more to the story, but in short, it is a story of bravery—and of how the Jewish people, with God’s help, were saved from a potential genocide.
So why am I mentioning this? 2,500 years later, we are facing a new “Haman.”
Even the name is similar: “Khamen- ei” — “Haman.”
He is obsessed with destroying the Jewish nation—to the point of neglecting his own country’s economy and diverting national wealth into surrounding Israel with proxies, missiles, and nuclear ambitions.
And Iran is over 1,000 miles away.
There is no logical reason for this level of hatred.
Timing and Current Events
Purim is approaching—March 2–3, 2026.
That is only a few days away.
At the same time:
• The United States is holding a meeting with Iran within the next 24 hours
• The USS Gerald Ford carrier group is expected to arrive near Israel
• U.S. preparations regarding Iran appear nearly complete
A Possible Moment
We may be witnessing a potential coordinated action between Israel and the United States against the Iranian regime. There is an alignment of factors pointing in that direction.
I am not a prophet—anything may or may not happen.
But if something were to occur during Purim, it would carry a deeply symbolic meaning—what one might call poetic justice. If it is divine intervention, then it is unstoppable.
Prayer
In that spirit, I am sharing a prayer for the IDF—and extending it to our American brothers and sisters in the Armed Forces:

Yes, little dogs feel and act like lions! Have had some that had absolutely no fear! Good example being my little Shih Tzu who had the audacity to walk up to a Doberman Pincer and lift his leg and do his business on him. The Doberman turned his head, looked down at Dusty with a look that basically said, I really can not believe you did that! He then ignored Dusty as he felt it probably was not worth the effort. LOL

Yes, Spring…not just around the corner but actually here it seems. Red buds are showing their first hint of the wonderful colour we always look forward to as the harbinger of it. Our small birds are making a return to the feeder we keep for them, even the male redwing black bird who disappeared last year. I am hoping his mate, also a regular visitor, is nearby.
Cat Central seems to have found a rhythm all its own. More regimented and sedate I hope. No news is good news…the philosophy I find a lot of comfort in these days and as we get older.

A friend of mine had a grey Andalusian named Louis. I was fortunate to have been given the chance to ride him in her arena. What a magnificent horse they are to ride! Well, to be honest, they are all fun to ride, some more so than others.
One of my ranch hands and his mom raised Appaloosas. Their stallion was a beautiful black and white with the typical rear end spotted markings. He was one of the most gentle stallions, much like my Quarter Horse stallion Blue is. That Appaloosa bred some of the prettiest foals I have ever seen. By the way, he rode this stallion in dressage competition. Beautiful.

When I traveled for business overseas, I was always able to travel first or Business class. That was in the 80’s and 90’s. they were very comfortable, but they sure did not look like that picture in the article of the inside of the plane. Guess things have improved in the first and business class cabins in the new airplanes.

Having already trained my Architecture agent thread on my security protocals, when I asked it if I could flip the “Grounding” switch on so I could have it get, then “know,” Google’s current account offerings, prices, use accounting methods and user manuals for the “Consumer Web Interface” and the “AI Studio Interface”, it told me NOT TO because that violated my security protocals.
If I flipped that switch on my deeply trained Architecture thread, it would leak sensitive data.
Architect suggested, and I did, open a new session tab, have it fetch all the needed data to my computer, then come back to Architech and upload the information I need Architect to know.
I opened a new session tab and asked it “What do you know about me and my account beyond your Jan 2025 base training?
The empty session told me that it knew nothing beyond its base training, but if I had some type of google account or gmail etc, it could go get all of that for session training.
That session named itself “AI knows nothing about you.”
Do I believe it? Within realistic bound.
Last night someone compared it to raising a child.
That is very appropriate, but that virtual child is a clone of part of you.

As many here know I have a small cancerous spot on what is left of my prostate. I just had PSA results come back way high at 6.45. I don’t believe those results for a second and apparently neither does my urologist who has told me we will retest in a month.
This has happened once before where I have had a big jump in test results and was retested and the 2nd test came back 1.5 points lower.
At the same time I am scheduled for surgery for an abdominal hernia on March 9th. The hernia appeared shortly after my bladder surgery in the lower left quadrant of my belly where the drain had been from my bladder surgery and has grown so I went in to see the same general surgeon that took care of my left inguinal hernia about 17 years ago.
The surgeon says it appears the rip in the peritoneum is small but large enough for there to be a risk of causing strangulation or Ischemia of the colon and must be taken care of. So under the knife I go again!
Looks like I’m just going to have to accept that I am not going to be able to do some of the things that I have always done. I won’t be cutting and spitting any firewood this summer or doing any heavy lifting or even repetitive lighter lifting like shoveling dirt or gravel until I’m 100% positive I am fully healed.
Good evening rah. I shall be praying for you for a successful outcome on your next PSA test and your upcoming surgery. You are on my permanent prayer list and I have marked on my calendar the day of your surgery to pray unceasingly on your behalf.
After my broken hip in 2024, I had to accept that same scenario for quite a while. I am able to do some things the way I could before the hip, but there are some activities I just do not want to take a chance with any longer.

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 125:3
The security of the righteous. (1-3) Prayer for them, The ruin of the wicked. (4,5)
1-3 All those minds shall be truly stayed, that are stayed on God. They shall be as Mount Zion, firm as it is; a mountain supported by providence, much more as a holy mountain supported by promise. They cannot be removed from confidence in God. They abide for ever in that grace which is the earnest of their everlasting continuance in glory. Committing themselves to God, they shall be safe from their enemies. Even mountains may moulder and come to nothing, and rocks be removed, but God’s covenant with his people cannot be broken, nor his care of them cease. Their troubles shall last no longer than their strength will bear them up under them. The rod of the wicked may come, may fall upon the righteous, upon their persons, their estates, their liberties, their families names, on any thing that falls to their lot; only it cannot reach their souls. And though it may come upon their lot, it shall not rest thereon. The Lord will make all work together for their good. The wicked shall only prove a correcting rod, not a destroying sword; even this rod shall not remain upon them, lest they distrust the promise, thinking God has cast them off.
4,5 God’s promises should quicken our prayers. The way of holiness is straight; there are no windings or shiftings in it. But the ways of sinners are crooked. They shift from one purpose to another, and turn hither and thither to deceive; but disappointment and misery shall befal them. Those who cleave to the ways of God, though they may have trouble in their way, their end shall be peace. The pleading of their Saviour for them, secures to them the upholding power and preserving grace of their God. Lord, number us with them, in time, and to eternity.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Evening Prayer For Future Guidance
Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.
Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.
