Going back to 2016, Egyptian President Fattah al-Sisi formed a strong relationship based on mutual interests. When the Hamas/Gaza war with Israel broke out, it was al-Sisi who was the key regional leader who -with full credibility from prior action against Islamic extremists- became the voice of stability that both sides of the crisis could respect.
Army General al-Sisi had the respect of the Egyptian people and during the Arab Spring it was al-Sisi who took control, dispatched the Muslim Brotherhood and restored lawful order to the country. Following the ouster of Mohammed Morsi, al-Sisi won the election with 80% support, then destroyed the Hamas tunnels that were used by extremists to smuggle weapons into Gaza. The Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda elements then targeted al-Sisi and conducted numerous terrorist attacks in the Sinai. Despite their efforts to destabilize Egypt, al-Sisi kept things under control.
President Sisi strongly influenced the other regional leaders to support President Trump as the one political leader who could bring forceful peace back to the situation in Gaza. During this bilateral session at the WEF, President Sisi thanks President Trump for his leadership and pledges full support to participate in the Gaza Board of Peace. WATCH:

President Trump is working at warp speed, getting things done and making his enemies dizzy.
Maybe I should have said WINNING at warp speed.
Thank God above for our fearless leader PDJT
Amen, Marilyn 🙏🏻
There are many comparisons which have been made with powerful and effective historical personages who were forces for good.
First, when President Trump was shot, then throughout this past year, and now, at this moment, I see him as the Cyrus of our age…when he was needed most in a world on fire.
Appointed by God above?
I believe it with my whole heart…
Exodus 29:19-20 The anointing of God’s priest. The 2nd Ram. Take the blood of the ram and put it upon the tip of the right ear, the tip of the thumb of the right hand and upon the great toe of the right foot. When he fell down his shoe came off on his right foot. This seems to me that Trump is an anointed hallowed priest for God’s glory.
So it seemed to me as well, yvonne.
I agree.
Cyrus.
Except Cyrus was a pagan and i want to believe President Trump is either a Christian already or at least on his way to becoming one.
Do believe President Trump has placed his Faith and Trust in The LORD. That’s all that is needed. These accomplishments are fruits of The Spirit.
And so, we live our best life as we have placed our Faith and Trust in our MESSIAH!
BLESSINGS
Proverbs 21:1 (ESV)
The king’s heart in Adonai’s hand is like streams of water —
he directs it wherever he pleases.
As do I, Betsy. When I look at our wonderful president, I’m reminded of the Bible verse – “You will know them by their fruits.”
And much of the recent wins are being done from the belly of the Davos beast.
Biden would have been fondling women or asleep.
Recall that after Obama’s “Arab Spring” Egypt was head down into a Hell Hole with the Muslim Brotherhood at the helm.
General al-Sisi stopped it in it’s tracks with a Military Coup and then a new free election which he won handily.
Thank God this man DEFEATED Barack Obama and his Arab Spring Muslim Brotherhood takeover, that if left unchecked would have wrought all kinds of Hell in the Middle East and beyond.
He also forced their largest Muslim College to stop teaching jihad as the primary mission of Islam. I still hate all Islam, but at least that put a cork in it for a while. We’ll never actually know how much violence it may have stopped in the crib.
The continued neutering of the Muz Brohood has to be making the criminally corrupt Kenyan crazy. Between all his besties in the brohood getting knocked down and the fear that his puppets like Brennan and Comey might someday turn on him, has to be impacting his boy toy playtime
Al-Sisi, another founding member of the “not pretending” club.
After Butler, Pa. Divine Providence can only explain President Trump making such a dent in the universe beginning with Peace…and a Love thy neighbor on a global scale…God protect this great man, his family, friends, and the USA!!!!
He has turned those who would be possible enemies, to friends. Its amazing most muslim countries like Trump better than western countries.
I’m not so sure how vigilant Sisi was about preventing weapons from crossing over from Egypt to Gaza. That border is the only way weapons could get to Hamas and it’s hard to believe that Sisi didn’t know, or get paid. I don’t believe any of them, not when they practice taqiyya.
Looks like al-Sisi had the land route from Gaza pretty well blocked off…
However, there surely are a lot of fishing villages from the mouth of the Nile eastward.
Maybe it wouldn’t that hard for vessels with skiffs to make the arms exchange (Colombian-style).
Also, they were stockpiling for YEARS. Every building, tunnel, false basement or cabinet, is a cache site.
The contrast between al-Siri and Carney is striking..
Al-Siri is a man. Carney is an errand boy.
FLASBACK:
Egyptians Enraged by U.S. Outreach to Muslim Brotherhood

In the eyes of tens of millions of Egyptians, Senators John McCain’s and Lindsey Graham’s recent words and deeds in Egypt — which have the “blessing” of President Obama — have unequivocally proven that U.S. leadership is aligning with the Muslim Brotherhood.
Egyptian media is awash with stories of the growing anger regarding this policy.
A top advisor to Egypt’s Interim President Adly Mansour formally accused McCain of distorting facts to the benefit of the Brotherhood. He dismissed McCain’s recent remarks as “irrational” and “moronic.” Ahmed al-Zind, head of the Egyptian Judge Club, has called for the arrest and trial of McCain for “trying to destroy Egypt.” The leader of the youth movement Tamarod (meaning “Rebellion,” against the Brotherhood), which played a major role in mobilizing the June 30 revolution, said: “We reject John McCain and call on the international community to let the [Egyptian] people decide their own fate.”
Songbird’s legacy.
A small correction. Al Sisi did destroy many tunnels at 2013-2015. But in the Gaza war more than 50 tunnels were destroyed that crossed to Egypt. There was a whole Egyptian trade of smuggling to Gaza and people there who got paid. This is one of the main issue we have with Egypt. They enabled Hamas to be armed. Where do you think all those Iranian arms, munitions and equipment came from ?
As to him “elected”. This also need correction. His main opposition, The Muslim Brotherhood, was outlawed so he took around 90% of the votes. In a free elections they could win. It’s like the “Russian Democracy” or the Turkish who arrests the key opponents if not killing them.
David,get a grip,stop living in the past.
Lets not argue or disagree with emotions and attacks, but with facts. We are trying to keep an environment in which we collectively, synergistically, and with respect — seek Truth.
I expect Israel knows more about Egypt than the West does…
Though Trump’s success is paramount to me and there may yet be some brilliance at work in including Egypt, Turkey and Qatar in the pacification of Gaza, al-Sisi’s own son ran the largest tunnels for supplying Hamas munitions before and during the October 7th war, with financing for Hamas coming from Qatar. Whether unwitting accomplices or actively blocking, the Biden Administration made a huge stink about the IDF going into Rafah and retaking the Philadelphi corridor where the tunnels were discovered. Egypt has big problems and al-Sisi has the pulse of his nation, and he gets credit for being cooperative with Trump, but the ideological bent of that nation makes for practical responses in the short-term… not a long-term overhaul of the culture. Trump can go in with eyes wide open and be ready to maneuver when these folks shift their ground… because that’s what will happen.
Too bad Al-Sis8 doesn’t protect the Egyptian Christians.
Interesting article on the Middle East. It’s brutally cynical on the Middle East. I wonder if the article describes the catalyst for the Abraham Accords? The first thing that came to mind when I read this article along with announcements concerning this “Board of Peace” was the book of Revelations.

Excellent article.
Thanks for posting.
The only subject not touched upon is biblical eschatology.
I just love him and can’t believe how lucky we are to have him as our great president.
Fabulous!
If President al Sisi can get control of the incessant attacks against Christian’s in Egypt, that would be cool.. It remains one of the most dangerous countries for Christians to live in.
