A large U.S. delegation, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio are traveling with President Trump tonight to Davos. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and all of the key members of the cabinet are already there.
According to the official WEF schedule, President Donald Trump’s address is in the mid‑afternoon Wednesday January 21, with the Davos session set for 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. local time (8:30 to 9:15 a.m. ET).
The entire world will be watching this speech considering the geopolitical events of the past year, the current trajectory of global relationships that has been scrambled by President Trump, and anticipation of this moment being the inflection point in Western political history.
On the tech side, all of the information bots under the control of Canada, the U.K, Australia and the global intelligence apparatus will be turned on to control and shape internet opinion of President Trump’s speech. The need for control is a reaction to fear. Do not discount the stakes at play; this is beyond the trillions – this is everything. For the opposition to President Trump this is a zero-sum conflict.
Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent held a press conference earlier today to absorb and address some of the key questions from the international media assembly (SEE BELOW). Combined with feedback from Secretary Lutnick and USTR Greer, the speech content is being finalized on the flight between President Trump and Secretary Rubio.

POTUS Schedule will change since AF1 had to return to Andrews due to electrical problems. Any idea when updated schedule will be posted?
I work the overnight shift and get home just after 8am each day. I will be in sitting on my couch absolutely GLUED to the TV by 8:25 to watch President Trump’s entire speech. This will be me:
😆😆😆
It’s almost as of….nah, couldn’t be….insert suspicious cat.
Not today satan…
Is there a reason why we need to involve the WEF at all? Aren’t they enemy #1?
What better place for The Chairman of The Board to make an announcement to the world?
VSGPDJT is taking the opportunity for world wide attention to his initiatives and “networking” with other world leaders.
But, I absolutely hate it when he travels. Pray for his safe return.
My initial reaction when I first learned. I have to remind myself every so often that Trump will choose to co-opt his opposition rather confront it. He will attempt to bend the WEF to his will.
I live in a very conservative part of TN. A local station does polling every day—certainly the media in the larger towns are slanted against DJT. I have seen in these last few months how the left’s wedges are working. Today’s poll was how is DJT handling the economy and 69% of respondents said they strongly oppose his actions! Fuel prices here hover around $2/gal, food (which is taxed at 10%) is still high, but overall, I see and hear nothing positive EVER! I am concerned the lemmings are again just going with the flow and our very Republic hangs in the balance.
Ignore ALL polls. I don’t need a lousy poll to confirm what I think and believe.
USMCLt: “Ignore ALL polls. I don’t need a lousy poll to confirm what I think and believe.”
You know what the truth is about the state of the economy. I know what the truth is. But a majority of the voting public doesn’t.
Perception is reality. The Democrats, the MSM, and the GOP Establishment now control the economic messaging narrative, and it has been very effective in convincing the public that Trump’s economic moves are sending America backward — in spite of all the clear evidence to the contrary.
Unless Trump’s people and the movers and shakers inside the MAGA movement do what is needed to get control of the economic messaging narrative, the Democrats will be winning a blow-out victory in November.
TN is the new shiny object for liberals leaving the mess they made in their old states. It was previously Idaho and now it is you. I’m sorry.
The more the polls go against the President the more they expose the panic and desperation on the left.
Let’s do some racist math and critical thinking together.
Trump’s approval among Republicans is 90%.
Republicans are approximately 35% of the electorate.
Therefore, about 32.5% of the electorate approve of Trump.
That leaves 67.5% of the electorate unaccounted for – less than the supposed 69% in your poll.
Does it make any sense whatsoever that all independents and democrats disapprove?
Ergo – the local station is full of shit. Just like all other polls out there on the same topic.
MSM and polls are controlled by the left. Propaganda.
I watch only to see what the left is saying.
I’m seeing the same thing all around me. The Democrats, the MSM, and the GOPe establishment now control the economic messaging narrative, and it has been very effective in convincing the public that Trump’s economic moves are sending America backward — in spite of all the clear evidence to the contrary.
Perception is reality. Unless Trump’s people and the MAGA movement do what is needed to get control of the economic messaging narrative, the Democrats will be winning a blow-out victory in November.
This is high stakes poker.
The press wastes all the time asking about hysterical imaginary problems in the future.
Their sole purpose is to plant seeds of worry and discontent.
Even if somethings were to take a while to see positive change, the press wants to imprint a worst case scenario in the back,or the front of the mind of the voters, depending on individual degrees of worry and concern.
When considering what isn’t quite right yet, I always remember everything would be unfathomable worse without President Trump.
So much upsetting of the statas quo is good.
Get it done! Put the nail in that coffin and end globalism. Anyone not signed up to what we have to offer, good luck!
Bessent has been as rock solid as Rubio. He explains everything in relation to what Trump’s goals are with no equivocation.
The professor’s heads up on the the bots of the globalist information apparatus is very helpful. Interesting the counties involved were once our friends. No longer, it seems. (GB, Canada, Australia) Recalling the manner these counties handled Covid with an iron fist.
That’s a good point. Many so called friends revealed their character during the bio attack. We should continue to parse their actions, positions, and motivations to better understand the threat they posed and still pose. Same applies to our own country: the enemy within is still working hard.
I remember our own media reporting in awe, instead of horror, the antics of China “shutdown” in January of ’20.
I just noticed the absence of something. Between the Greenland situation and the Board of Peace situation, nobody in the EU ‘leadership’ is talking about Ukraine anymore. Hmmm….
Leave it to Germany to push the narrative line for his fellow world comrades, “The US citizens are unhappy with the U.S. economy and President Trump”.
Scott was too gracious and just should have said “Fake news. NEXT!”
The negativity of the globalists is always the hat tip.
I apologize to Scott personally. 10 minutes later he address the hysterical lying media as the root of many problems, multiple times for pushing narratives for economic fear and chaos.
Thank You, Mr. Bessent.
Ma Kettle, I’ll repeat what I said to USMCLt above: You know what the truth is about the state of the economy. I know what the truth is. But a majority of the voting public doesn’t.
Perception is reality. The Democrats, the MSM, and the GOP Establishment now control the messaging and the narrative about the economy. Their narrative has been very effective in convincing the voting public that Trump’s economic moves are sending America backward — in spite of all the clear evidence to the contrary.
I repeat this very clear, very forceful warning. Unless Trump’s people and the movers and shakers inside the MAGA movement do what is needed to get control of the economic messaging narrative in this country, the Democrats will be winning a blow-out victory in November.
Agree about the midterms and the result that will occur if MAGA supporters are not convinced that Trump is serious about pursuing all the corruption and in your face crime committed by the left We are told it won’t happen overnight. Trust the plan.
Heard that before with the Q nonsense. When I see the early morning raids and frog marched traitors on the media maybe then the coming election will solidify MAGA enough to storm the polling booths, otherwise we will just see more mayhem and destruction of what remains of America. There are no excuses, the money trails can be identified and halted with the current system and the leftists jailed. Its time for payback ala the J6 fiasco. Until that happens things will only worsen. Focus on America, first. Never mind ukie, the Nobel, NATO, the EU, foreign entanglements….home comes first. I think praying for a miracle at this point is all we can do.
Seeadler: “Focus on America, first. Never mind ukie, the Nobel, NATO, the EU, foreign entanglements….home comes first. I think praying for a miracle at this point is all we can do.”
Time is short. Three things have to happen before the 2026 mid-terms:
1 — The MAGA voter base must be convinced that Donald Trump is focusing on the domestic MAGA agenda and is making good progress on the domestic agenda. Otherwise the MAGA base will not be coming out to the polls in the numbers needed to keep MAGA Republicans in power.
2 — The independents must be persuaded that Trump’s economic agenda and his economic policies are the right agenda and policies, and that these policies are in fact producing the results that Donald Trump promised.
3 — The Trump team and his MAGA political supporters must gain control of the economic messaging narrative, and the domestic MAGA agenda, if they are to counter the negative messaging of the Democrats and the RINO Republicans.
Let’s remember what happened in 1992 and the fundamental reason why Clinton pulled off his victory. The political gnome James Carville said this about where the Clinton campaign should be focused: “It’s the economy, stupid!”
If the Republicans are to win in November 2026, the independents must be convinced that significant progress is being made on the economy.
And the MAGA voter base must be convinced that Donald Trump’s domestic MAGA agenda has priority and that significant progress is being made on that domestic agenda including fighting corruption in the Deep State and allowing the people’s true voice to be expressed in our election processes and systems.
Those two items require that Donald Trump’s team and his MAGA political supporters gain control of the economic and domestic messaging narrative. This hasn’t yet been accomplished. It has to be or else we will lose big in November 2026.
“It has to be or else we will lose big in November 2026.”
No, we will lose America, permanently.
Scott Bessent: Rock Star.
it is frankly amazing watching the guy who essentially runs the finances… of THE WORLD, having to talk to these moronic reporters who have no clue how business works because they’re typing on their laptop at Starbucks while he’s making the world go round. They are actually supposing, that perhaps businesses won’t do business with the USA because of the policy on Greenland. Ugh… WE’RE THE CUSTOMER, woman. Sit down. You’re out of your league.
