To say that I am happy with President Trump’s approach toward the use of White House emissaries to conduct official business around the capture mechanisms of the administrative state would be an understatement. I’m positively thrilled to watch this untraditional approach in action.
Are there approaches, strategies and general things I would prefer to see differently? Sure, there are. However, I’m just an audience member without any need to keep gravity maintained, while figuring out ways to satisfy billionaire donors, key interests and strategic partners. On this balancing act, President Trump is doing awesome work.
President Trump is ducking and weaving through some of the deepest Machiavellian constructs, while maintaining forward progress.
To put context to it, these creeps have had four years to strategize how to control Trump and manipulate policy, with their retention of all sorts of government agencies in alignment with the status quo. Yet, remarkably President Trump is dancing through their deep state minefield, while keeping dozens of plates spinning on sticks. The use of non-traditional emissaries is really making them angry.
As we shared in 2024, the use of emissaries outside the govt framework of traditional policy was going to be a key facet in any America First agenda. Steve Witkoff is an example, leading to the clutching of pearls on a scale we have never seen.
As noted, in this not so subtle hit job against him, the State Dept built Witkoff an office, “one of its most historic offices: the high-ceiling, wood-paneled suite where Secretary of State George C. Marshall planned the reconstruction of Europe.” Yet, Witkoff has never used it; instead he prefers a small desk in a rather innocuous office in the White House.
The Wall Street Journal narrative against Witkoff is a little funny.
(WSJ) – […] It is hard to pinpoint a moment in history when businessmen have held such direct sway over matters of war and peace. Since the end of World War II, Washington’s relationship with Moscow was its most carefully calibrated, helmed by spy agencies who knew their rival intimately. Seasoned diplomats rehearsed rigid protocols to prevent misunderstandings between two nuclear powers poised like scorpions in a jar. Today, those structures are virtually absent.
[…] Witkoff has declined multiple offers from the CIA for a briefing on Russia. The State Department assigned a small group of staffers to support Witkoff, but members of that team, and others across the administration, have struggled to get summaries of Witkoff’s foreign meetings.
[…] A White House official said that the decision to appoint Witkoff was Trump’s decision alone. “Suggesting that foreign countries had any input on this is absurd,” the official said. Rubio in a statement said Witkoff is doing an “incredible job” and that he “understands the objectives and gets things done on behalf of the President and the American people.”
[…] Witkoff said he has his own, tight-knit team within the government: “We develop a thesis on how to be successful,” he said. “So I don’t need to travel around with a zillion people.”
[…] In an Oval Office meeting in the first weeks of the administration, Kellogg briefed the president and others on a plan to end the war. “You take Ukraine,” Trump told him. “I’ve got Russia.” Witkoff wasn’t in the room.
Days later, Kellogg got a message *from a colleague on the National Security Council: Witkoff had received security clearance for a Moscow trip.
[*NOTE: I’ll bet a donut that National Security Council person was the chair, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz. Which emphasizes exactly why CTH said Mike Waltz was the wrong pick for the position.]
[…] Kellogg later learned from a reporter that the Kremlin had complained to the White House about his *daughter’s support for Ukraine, he said.
[NOTE: Unbeknownst to most, Lt General Keith Kellogg’s daughter is Meaghan Mobbs, who is president of the RT Weatherman Foundation. In advance of the first congressional appropriation, and likely with feedback from her father, Lt General Keith Kellogg, Ms Mobbs stood up a Ukraine relief organization which benefits from the Ukraine support money sent by Congress. In essence, Kellogg’s family has a financial stake in continuing the conflict and continuing to receive money from Congress.]
[…] For decades, senior American government officials visiting Russia would be briefed from a book of guidelines known as “Moscow Rules.” The document outlines the myriad ways the country’s security agents would try to surveil, entrap, compromise and recruit American visitors. It had been recently updated to reflect the security services’ increasingly aggressive posture, particularly the unit responsible for tracking Americans, the Department for Counter Intelligence, or DKRO. One important rule, say the officials who helped craft it: “There are no coincidences.”
Ahead of his trip, the CIA offered to brief Witkoff; he declined. Nor was he accompanied by an interpreter: He had been told that Russia’s president wouldn’t allow him to bring another person into the meeting.
A White House official said he participated in multiple briefings before his first trip to Russia, including Trump’s intelligence briefing. The CIA regularly briefs him on other issues like Gaza—but not Russia. (read more)
Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin has long said publicly he does not consider America or the American people to be adversaries of Russia. Instead, Vladimir Putin views the CIA as his adversary; he is always clear to draw the distinction.
The Deep State does not like President Trump’s use of emissaries to conduct foreign policy. In fact, they oppose it strongly; they hate it.
That is exactly why this approach is needed, and it is very good to see it being done.
CTH AUGUST 2024 – The Washington DC Intelligence Community (IC) actively work to isolate the Office of the President. This is an almost impossible dynamic to avoid, caused by an entrenched and ideological adversary who has dug themselves deep into the apparatus of government.
The “emissary” is the person who carries the word of President Trump to any person identified by President Trump. The emissary is very much like a tape recording of President Trump in human form. The emissary travels to a location, meets a particular person or group, and then recites the opinion of the President. The words spoken by the emissary, are the words of President Trump.
The IC cannot inject themselves into this dynamic; that is why it is so valuable.
The emissary then hears the response from the intended person or group, repeats it back to them to ensure he/she will return with clarity of intent as expressed, and then returns to the Office of the President and repeats the reply for the President. The emissary recites back exactly what he was /is told.
This process is critical when you understand how thoroughly compromised the full Executive Branch is. More importantly, this process becomes even more critical when you accept the Intelligence Community will lie to the Office of the President to retain their power and position. (read more)

If you can’t eliminate the CIA, you can isolate it. Good job Mr. President!
Now he needs to isolate them by trimming their budget as much as possible and then run financial audits on each department.
Unfortunately they have “alternative lines of financing” thus the massive drug and Human trafficking that flows into the United States. You could cut their budget to Zero and they’d still be operating.
Interesting. Could the President bring a RICO lawsuit against the CIA? Could Bessent, as acting IRS Director, start investigating these alternate funding schemes, assuming they exist? The D.OG.E. boys (and girls), using AI investigative tools, same? Seems to me in this day and age hiding illegal sources of funding would be very, very hard. Just takes someone to make it happen.
I wonder if the strikes against the drug boats by President Trump’s administration, have had an impact on the CIA’s bottom line?
Maybe the intended target isn’t so much the Venezuelan regime, but rather CIA financing?
And China
Striking boats near Venezuela have no impact on the drug trade. Per the current DEA assessment of percentages of drug sourcing, Venezuela is a rounding error, and fentanyl is close to zero.
The drug boats from Venezuela are mostly carrying cocaine, grown in South America, destined for North America and Europe (including a certain eastern European country currently engaged in a war with Russia.)
The, in relative terms of volume, minor amount of cocaine transfered through Venezuela is shipped to West Africa, (Guinea Bissau, Ghana, Senegal), and then into Spain for distribution throughout Europe.
Venezuela was used by our CIA/DEA for relatively large shipments of cocaine into Florida before the Chavista revolution. At that time Venezuela was largely dominated by the US. This ended with Chavez.
The fun fact is Rubios’ brother in law was a major cocaine dealer in the infamous Cocaine Cowboys of Miami in the 1980s. The associated violence tore Miami apart. Despite living in the same home with his sister and narco brother in law at the time, Rubio denies any hint of knowing what was happening.
At that time the Venezuelan National Guard, who were bought off, had a sun symbol on their unit insignia. This has been used to create a narrative of a non existent current cartel.
At least the Administration narrative has moved onto reality, that this project is focused on Venezuelas’ resources to plunder.
Its less to do with the drugs than the freedom Maduro gives to terrorist orgs who operate on their soil as a strategic attack against the US, for example Hamas and Hezbollah
I disagree. The narrative of Hamas and Hezbollah are red herrings. They pose zero threat to the US. Whatever, if any, presence is irrelevant to Americans.
This is specifically about oil and gold resources, that our corporations want to exploit, along with stopping international trade outside the use of SWIFT and the $US Dollar.
The irony is the use of sanctions to dominate other countries and force them to renounce sovereignty to our globalist kleptocracy system
has created an alternate system, BRICS. This process is accelerating rapidly.
The migration of Venezuelans to the US was due directly to the economic degradation caused by our sanctions, not policy of Caracas. BRICS and freedom from Washington and London is the better alternative for any country that seeks economic growth.
All about the visual.
If you listened to Trumps speech, he knows that’s not the only place they’re coming from. Where there’s a will there’s a way. Like everything it takes time.
Another great comment!!!

Whoa I had not thought of that, but you may be on to something.
My opinion is their financial sources are unlimited and their ability to skirt the US legal system is top of their game…bill
I truly believe Black Rock is a front company owned by them.
Then it needs to be cut to 0. Then see where and how the money flows. Allowing Rouge players to continue to operate is not good.
But then they would just be criminals and could be eliminated via the same means as the drug boats from Venezuela.
What do want to bet THAT is THE REASON the drug boats are being taken out???
Bingo! The CIA has managed to evolve into an international crime syndicate, totally beyond any control of witless politicians. One witless politician, Chuck Schumer, admitted as much with his six ways from Sunday comment. Congressional defunding of the CIA would only make them stronger.
Excellent point! No dinero, no CIA; coming soon. Is it possible that the AG and the FBI are also nothing but neon signs, irrelevant?
That is why the IC has so many of their sources of income and so much of their income from out of control and off the books sources like the drug trade.
This is why there will always be drugs, the drugs will always be illegal, and the war on drugs will never be won.
PDJT needs to slow the source of product to cut off the cash.
He could legalize drugs and slow it but the IC would still profit from it just less so.
I have become kind of malthusian about this and wish they would legalize and flood the market, and give those with the will to be addicts all they want to their quick inevitable end.
This would both reduce the demand and improve our gene pool.
That’s my brother, Big AL!
And he’s right!
Here is a thought experiment. For those people currently addicted to drugs (other than terminal patients using to manage pain) what would have happened, if they never took their first dose of that drug? I dare say, that they would then never become addicted.
If that first dose is too risky legally, too expensive financially, too difficult to come by, then people would not get addicted. And what would be wrong with that?
With a sufficiently high barrier to entry, there would be far fewer new addicts as time goes on.
Even if addictive drugs were legal, plentiful, pure, and cheap, addiction would still be a problem. (Even though some people might not agree)
There is no perfect solution in a sin-stained earth. Everything is various tradeoffs.
I keep hearing countries with the Death Penalty for drugs do not have much of a problem? True or false?
I don’t know if they have problems or not, but those are countries with homogeneous populations and for centuries, those populations have been quite comfortable complying with government directives. That approach wouldn’t work here, and the Supreme Court won’t allow the death penalty for drug crimes.
Except that first dose is almost always a prescription bro
I rather think that is partly why the US NG is currently operationally positioned to interfere and impede Deep State income streams as well as Democrat, counter Trump, Insurrection planning and electoral irregular shenanigans.
There’s a lot to be said about your logic. Prohibition was short lived because alcohol was simply too popular to effectively outlaw. So, today we have a market flooded with alcohol that is heavily taxed and regulated, but relatively affordable. The social costs of alcoholism are accepted as a necessary evil.
But, as Don Zaluchi in the Godfather movie said, drugs cause you to lose your soul. We see the horrific damage done to our society by illicit drug use every day. It seems to me that the terrible social costs of drug abuse far outweigh those of alcohol abuse.
Since 9/11 they’ve been reported to have an unlimited budget. Some say it’s from drugs or from creating bitcoin as satoshi nakamoto, but personally I think the gov has simply given up on ever paying back the trillions in debt, and instead with spend as much as they want until the whole world goes bankrupt and they can start again.
…and relocate their offices to….. northern part of…..A L A S K A …. would be glorious step…..

The problem is that it’s still there for the next liberal regime to abuse.
I take great comfort to learn that “Witkoff has declined multiple offers from the CIA for a briefing on Russia.”
Man I love that…
The so-called “defensive briefings” aka entrapment attempts deployed against President-elect Trump in 2015-16 should have made it clear the CIA and FBI are not to be trusted by anyone in a Trump administration.
The CIA does briefings for the CIA’s benefit not the recipient’s benefit. The CIA is either “handling” (manipulating) the recipient or entrapping them. The last thing the CIA intends to do is make the recipient informed enough to where they no longer need the CIA.
If the deep state had been strategizing for four years on how to control Trump, this must have been Plan D or E. They did not think our President would win. Alternate plans were to keep him off ballots, to toss his butt in jail and to have him eliminated by more violent methods, thankfully none of which worked.
After tabulating some 50+ odd security failures and “coincidences” about President Trump’s first assassination attempt, I highly suspect the IC was involved. It’s a miracle he is still alive with as many enemies he has here and abroad.
A miracle indeed.
Witkoff was w/PT on the golf green when the 2nd assassination attempt was occurring. A miracle they are both alive.
The nest of vipers on National security council thought they had it all planned out.
Until President Trump said watch this.
Then DNI Gabbards started clearing out the vipers.
I thoroughly believe someone was reading the Treehouse in this admin, because Sundance was saying to do exactly what President Trump has done, use Envoys.
The deep state traitors got skunked.
MAGA
President Trump recognizes good and sound ideas when he sees them. That is one of his many gifts.
Because the man listens.
For the life of me I cannot figure out why we almost never see knowledgeable, credible, and high-ranking whistle blowers rising up from within these organizations. Extreme candor coming from that level would be epic, and likely would force needed reforms. These organizations employee many thousands of people. Am I to believe there are so few patriots among so many?
I agree. I thought it would be a flood.
Takes one to start but the “first follower” is the one who breaks the damn.
Look up “first follower” on youtube.
Think Replacement Theory. The honorable get removed or quit because of, you know, Honor. Two words: Joe Biden’s White House Staff.
IMO, People at the top of the ladder don’t allow people to occupy the one, two or three rungs below them without having kompromat on them.
Bingo! The underlings are paid way beyond their skill set. An effective bribe to keep
them doing their primary job. Which is looking the other way when needed.
Waiting him out…
36 months from now PDJT will depart…
Things will then return to their previous form
Their has been no accountability or changes…
Pence is busy creating the “New” Republican Party
Bring it, losers
Pence couldn’t put a dent into Trump’s second nomination efforts. Absolutely no one likes him.
Let’s make sure that continues to happen. Anyone associated with Pence should be
treated like Typhoid Mary.
Maybe. Maybe there are other — more restore-Constitutional-Republic purposed — possibilities in the works. Think outside of the box.
You forgot about someone Trump selects to replace him to keep MAGA going.
I predict that it will not return to the previous form, but return to the form they could not put in place before. They will use the threat of a Trump to launch emergency powers and absolutely destroy the system, and build CA type one party walls to ensure they never lose the reigns of power again.
That is what we are really up against.
Money and power talk. Their allure is great. And then there is always the very real threat of being “clintonized” if you do break from the ranks.
If Musk gets behind Vance, we’re talking billions. Pence and his 20 pieces of silver haven’t a chance.
And young people hate Pence and others of his ilk. I don’t think we’ll see anymore Romney or McCain or Bush type nominations.
If they exist, they are hunkered down deep. Their jobs and pensions are first and foremost. The ones who do decide to rise up and speak generally get persecuted by a million little cuts that can’t be addressed because the bureaucracy is able to do so with near impunity.
A million little cuts or one sudden coup de grace…
The price for getting to the higher ranks is one’s soul.
A legitimate whistle blower usually possess a soul.
My guess is they value the lives of their family…bill
Answer… “yes”. There has always been lots of Patriotic ‘talk’, with little ‘action’.
Accidents are a high risk to the would be whistleblowers. They know where the bodies are buried, and I suspect they also know they could easily join the underground party if they reveal too much.
Sundance said the haystack has only needles. Kind of sums it all up. Close them and start over.
In the private sector when a company goes bad it goes bankrupt. Just close them.
I am about that like I am the Department of Education. Close it in DC and Close them in the State Capitals. Set 2035 as the closure of public schools. Let the counties decide what to do.
The code of “Omertà.”
Also look at the extremes of retaliation deployed against past whistleblowers like Steve Friend, Garret O’Boyle, etc. They got their security clearances pulled, their health insurance cancelled, put on indefinite “suspension” without being fired so their pay stopped but they were not permitted to take another job. They were financially ruined and their families suffered.
They are being paid off by Soros
“RT Weatherman Foundation”? The Weatherman Aka Weatherman Underground was left-wing Marxist militant organization founded in 1969 on the Ann Arbor campus of the University of Michigan as a faction of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), a communist anti-American organization. Interesting that this bitch Meaghan Mobbs, daughter of General Kellogg would name her Organization after those evil, anti-American SOBs. I know she would know who they are, she went to West Point, all of those Communist groups were studied in Military Science. The reason the left hates Russia is because they proved that their beloved Communism is a failure by failing as the Soviet Union.
Maybe she, i.e., Meaghan, was a classmate of Spenser Rapone aka “the commie cadet”; my USMA cousin would not be pleased with these more modern cadet products of the Academy.
Yes. It’s been said, probably in many public class rooms, that “communism will never work until the whole world is communist.” Why? Because there will be nothing else to compare it with, you know, that awful word, “discrimination”.
Weatherman is a family name. It’s not the communist “weather underground” (don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.”)
“The Romulus T. Weatherman Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation dedicated to supporting democracy, valuing each life, and meeting urgent needs in conflict zones. Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, the foundation has become a leader in providing aid and care to those affected by war.”
The foundation’s co-founder is Elizabeth Weatherman
Bess Weatherman is a Special Limited Partner of Warburg Pincus LLC, a leading global private equity firm focused on growth investing, with $85 billion in assets under management and 250 active portfolio companies around the world.
Ms. Weatherman joined Warburg Pincus in 1988, became a partner in 1996, and served as a member of the Executive Management Group from 2001 to 2016. She led the firm’s Healthcare Group from 2008 to 2015. Ms. Weatherman has twice been named to Forbes’ Midas List recognizing her as one of the 100 most highly-regarded dealmakers in the venture capital industry. She was a 2014 recipient of the Women of Power and Influence Award from the National Organization for Women.

President Trump learned his lesson from the Vindman Brothers Fiasco and realized if you can’t work with the Intelligence Community then go around them on your own terms.
Agree, you cannot work with the Intel community as currently constituted. The short term/intermediate solution is to work around them which is what Sundance is highlighting in his article. The question remains….What is the long term strategy to dismantle the corrupt IC community and the people in it who are manipulating and using the US Government for their own power and financial gain at the expense of the American Citizen?
PDJT, a.k.a. ‘The Donald’ learned these lessons and more in a lifetime of building a mighty global business empire despite enormous competition, interference, intrigue and endless sabotage by the world’s most powerful criminal organizations and bad-faith government. I suspect that Trump’s first term revealed to him the DC Beltway/IC/Deep State as just another such massive, criminal org and he remains clear on the subject. Hence, his (mostly) superb cabinet of patriot-warriors: Gabbard, Hegseth, Noem, RFK Jr…etc.
‘God bless us, every one!” – – Tiny Tim
Yes lessons learned. For a good lesson read some of Lee Smith, investigative journalist, writings about our government and President Trump…bill
definitely agree.
every time i hear some talking head whine about the lack of “experts” i chuckle. the “experts”… you know, the ones who constantly decry “unexpected” results… are what got us to this point. frankly, even if the envoys fail in the end, this experiment would be a fantastic success if for no other reason than that we at least tried something else.
When The Wall Street Journal says:
“It is hard to pinpoint a moment in history when businessmen have held such direct sway over matters of war and peace. Seasoned diplomats rehearsed rigid protocols to prevent misunderstandings between two nuclear powers poised like scorpions in a jar. Today, those structures are virtually absent.”
The Wall Street Journal means:
Why is this orange-haired President using businessmen he knows and trusts to conduct negotiations with Moscow when a host of thoroughly corrupt bureaucrats are left twiddling their thumbs instead of accomplishing the job they were hired to do, i.e., distorting, misleading and lying to the Chief Executive? Now what are they supposed to do with that jar full of scorpions? I mean, doesn’t Trump realize that we have all these carefully calibrated, rigid diplomats rehearsing seasoned protocols, going to waste, for gods sake?
No, wait…
Whoever wrote that WSJ article is historically illiterate. Presidents have often used businessmen as special envoys to influence matters of war and peace.
But using private-citizens as envoys has become fairly rare in recent years because of the growing stranglehold on power held by the IC/DoS DeepState apparatus.
President Trump is returning to the way things were done years ago.
some examples:
Wilson used Edward House (sometimes called Colonel House, even though he was never in the military)FDR used W. Averell Harriman as an envoy. FDR had Harry Hopkins negotiate Lend-Lease before Hopkins had any official position in the administration.Several presidents including Nixon used Armand Hammer to negotiate with the Soviets
Gee whiz, a business man as POTUS using other business men as envoys, who would have thought it was possible? President Trump rules!!! Thank the Good Lord!!
good point, well-made
Terrific article, @sundance –
Thanks!
From the WSJ article Sundance quoted… (emphasis added)

This “Moscow Rules” document sound like it could provide a good template for a newly created “Deep State Rules” document (perhaps updated w/ our own deepstates’ tactics) which could be handed out to people who are intending to or are currently running for local or national public office or newly elected, assuming they haven’t been compromised already.
One possible format could be a hyperlinked document w/ links to a plethora of examples/case studies how this has been done in the past.

His shrewdness and unpredictability are central to his characte.
Sundance, do we know WHO the CIA actually is?
WHO is the ORDER -GIVER on operations all over the world?
Is it a council of people? A smaller groups, say a duo or trio who put their heads together and then “send out the word”? A single person who has gained sway?
Or, is it another entity, one “outside the agency” which funnels orders to the council or duo/trio or single person?
Just hoping you might have gained a sense of this somehow.
My guess is the Central Bankers or some group of their designated agents…
No one would believe me if I said the bankers run the CIA-Steven Segal , Above the Law-1988

A couple days ago, I commented that wrecking the morale of the IC may have been the plan! Ha! I’m just an old truck driver/construction worker. Thanks Sundance!!
Trump’s dance though their minefield with spinning plates on sticks is an example of parallelism. Like Chesty Puller’s remark about being surrounded meaning we can bang-bang in every direction at once.
Trump! Trump!

Trump! Trump!
Rah! Rah! Rah!
“Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see” is attributed to German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer. It distinguishes talent—exceptional skill in achieving known goals—from genius, which involves visionary insight to perceive and pursue goals that are invisible or unimaginable to others.
The Democrats were fine with Harry Hopkins who directed the WWII negotiations with Stalin. However, Harry was a Social Worker not a businessman.
The Democrats are today happily converting the NYPD, LAPD and Chicago police into Social Workers. We even had a Community Organizer as President.
Thank You so much, SUNDANCE, for your part in bringing this breath of fresh air – on a Biblical scale. Can’t say it enough. Merry Christmas, indeed!
In Greenland, political leaders across the spectrum have rejected Trump’s overtures. After the March 2025 parliamentary elections, newly elected Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen of the Demokraatit party declared, “We are not for sale. We don’t want to be Americans. We want to be Greenlanders.” All five parties in Greenland’s parliament issued a joint statement opposing U.S. annexation, affirming their desire for self-determination—not a change of colonial master
Cajun meets Inuit. Should be fascinating!
Chad, appreciate your bringing this up. When Greenland gains independence, it will be the first modern Innuit nation. This issue is close to my heart as my family is Alaskan Iñupiaq.
We speak related and mutually comprehended dialects. Our lands were claimed by Tsarist Russia and “purchased” by Washington. The conditions for most Alaska Natives are remarkably similar to 3rd world ghettos.
The last thing Greenlanders need is to be dominated by the morally depraved, corrupt kleptocrats in Washington.
Canadian firms
pre-empted Trumps’ donor/handlers and secured long term licenses to develop Greenland in mutually beneficial manners.
Greenland Resources, Inc., for molybdenum and magnesium, and Neo Performance Materials, to develop rare earths. There are also deals for the gold deposits.
Greenland must be sovereign and not subordinated to Washington as the Latin American countries Monroe Doctrine colonial rape model.
It’s absolutely infuriating to know that these unelected unaccountable intelligence agencies have gone rogue and are outside of the control of Trump or any President. This situation is untenable. They must be reined in and brought to heel or this Republic will not stand much longer.
They were designed to BE rogue from their inception.
They were formed under the cover of war or some other threat, with the covert mission of undermining our Constitution and our nation.
They were never meant to have meaningful oversight.
The politicians who passed the laws creating these agencies were either dupes or traitors.
They never “went” rogue.
They were always a Fifth Column.
… and they will expand the war if at all humanly possible, as they seem to have concluded that it is beneficial to the IC. Theoretically, the IC work on behalf of the POTUS, but that is no longer reality.
The CIA used to play a key role in isolating cold war enemies, in order to keep them under control. One wonders how they like their own playbook being implemented against them. I’d love to be a fly on the wall, eh?
I must simply laugh (or, should I cry?) at people who are right now attacking other people for “actually doing something.”
“Hey, I can do it better!” No. This is not what they are saying.
It is disgusting in how many ways President Trump is forced to work around anti-American traitors pretending to be the experts.
”How dare you!”
Jimmy Stewart’s line in Its a Wonderful Life You hate anything that you can’t get your hands on.
May the end of political professionals and the rise of those who, in success, wish to give back to this great country, full speed ahead. Of course, the crooked deep state hates it; there’s no kickback for their betrayal.

The art of diplomacy is the isolating of your enemy so you can kill him.
I don’t even know why the CIA is even allowed to give their opinion, they have caused the wars around the globe for the last century. every leader assigned by Trump for CiA is comprised in every way. Radcliffe was the weakest to choose. And many good CIA said this from the beginning. They suggested he have 2-3 honorable retired agents be at his side all the time. It didn’t happen.
Businessmen were used as conduits in the lead up to WW2. Birger Dahlerus was one of several, though probably the most high profile.
When Trump first started emissaries (I believe the term he used was “special envoy”) two thought went through my pointy little head.
Almost immediately, Trump assigned special envoys to Ukraine, The Middle East. And then, to he named Rick Grennell as someone to drop into hot spots that might develop down the road. I thought it was a great approach because it took the most profitable areas for defense contractors and put them under a direct reporting microscope, discouraging misrepresentation to create financial opportunities to the usual suspects.
Reasonable and important insights.
Normally diplomacy would be handled by the State Department. But it has been 8 decades since our government resolved issues by diplomacy. We do not have professionals who are expert in that art.
The State Department essentially is an adjunct of the CIA and the various NGOs that were recently rolled directly into the State Department, USAID, ect.
