Earlier today President Donald Trump participated in an oval office swearing in ceremony for US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor. Ambassador Gor was sworn in by Vice-President JD Vance (prompted) and then President Trump took questions from the assembled press pool (13:41). WATCH:

I’m so glad to have watched and listened to this swearing in and hanging around for the questions. Remarkable to me that the men and women are publicly hugging each other and showing their affection for each other in a public setting. Unthinkable!

It might just be a rocky ride for the new ambassador though. I’m believing that after the midterms, Trump is going to start looking at the H-1B visas and the lack of employment opportunities for STEM graduates in the IT and AI fields. MAGA, with it’s America First objectives logically should start to cut back on those visas or make the people being imported significantly more expensive that American citizens. This will be the point at which JD Vance will be tested to see if he can resist the influence of the Tech Bros, who are basically the modern-day slave owners who exploit this system to replace American workers with imports (a lot of whom are from India) or outsource their accounting and/or programming tasks to India to save money.
