The information to congress about the Arctic Frost investigation is coming from FBI whistleblowers, not from Director Kash Patel or Deputy Director Dan Bongino, and the depth of the targeting evidence held within the FBI is apparently hidden from leadership review – or they would be releasing it. No “Watergate type” investigations at all. Watergate was a deep state operation to get Nixon. Like with President Trump. How about public trials with a jury of the aggrieved? Asset forfeiture? HRC as a bag lady?
The Watergate investigation was the coverup job to hide the actual scandal (an FBI/CIA coup to remove newly reelected President Nixon.)
The investigation scripted and sold a narrative about how bad Nixon was. They released tapes of Nixon cussing (scandal!) and scheming against his political enemies. Everything Nixon was accused of was behavior politicians from both parties had done for decades.
By selling that narrative it steered attention away from what actually happened.

Some thoughts from Mike Benz about (possible) (theoretical) criminal charges that could be made against Black Robe Tyrant Boasberg as a result of his conduct in the Arctic Frost matter:
1. Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law (18 U.S.C. § 242):
The prosecution alleges that by issuing the gag order, Judge Boasberg willfully deprived U.S. senators of their statutory right under 2 U.S.C. § 6628 to receive notification of legal processes seeking disclosure of Senate data, thereby violating their constitutional protections under the Speech or Debate Clause and separation of powers principles
2. Obstruction of Proceedings Before Congress (18 U.S.C. § 1505):
This charge claims that the gag order obstructed the Senate’s ability to exercise its oversight functions, including the right to file a motion to quash the subpoenas, by preventing timely notification and thus hindering potential congressional inquiries or interventions.
3. Conspiracy Against Rights (18 U.S.C. § 241):
The DOJ asserts that Judge Boasberg conspired with Special Counsel Smith’s office to infringe upon the senators’ rights, using his judicial authority to conceal the subpoenas and evade Senate opposition.

While there could possibly be real merit to the above-listed charges, the first hurdle would be getting a DC Grand Jury to actually indict the Black Robe Tyrant. As we all know, DC juries tend to made up of govt. employees, swamp critters, and DEI types of various flavors. Not saying they wouldn’t indict him, but it’s no slam dunk! The second hurdle would be finding a District Court to try him in. Because of the conflict issues, and the fact he is the Presiding Judge of the DC District Court, he obviously couldn’t be tried in DC. In addition, Boasberg has been around for a long time – he knows a lot of Judges, and a lot of Judges know him, so that creates further conflicts and recusals. Naturally, Boasberg, being the progressive socialist that he is, would want the trial as close to home as possible in some liberal, blue state District Court where he could be guaranteed of getting the type of sympathetic jury he would need. The Government on the other hand, would be very happy to see him tried in some good old District Court in say … Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas or Texas … you get the idea. But trust me, the trial would be some blue state District Court on the East Coast.
It’s all very interesting to speculate and play the “what-if” game. But at the end of the day, do I think he’ll be indicted …. NO. However, I would love to be proven wrong. And …. Just to hedge my bet, I’ve got an option and locked in the price for 2 cases of popcorn with extra butter flavoring.
In light of the apparent inaction of the DOJ…….go for it Congress. Showboat and preen in front of the cameras all that you wish. Perhaps enough illegal acts will come out that the DOJ cannot sweep it all under the rug.

There could easily be charges brought right away for small things like perjury (most of those crimes are past the statute of limitations period though). However, it can take a very long time to develope and expose the evidence for RICO conspiracy charges. You are talking months (maybe a year)
They better get started right away on that.

Schmitt just announced the slow death of the Arctic Frost investigation.
It took congress eighteen months to investigate what was truly a rudimentary plot by ham-handed aides to Nixon. The socialists were desperate to use whatever means necessary to attack Nixon since he had beaten the brakes off them during his reelection.
If this is “a hundred times worse” than Watergate, then should we expect eighteen hundred months of investigation, obstruction, obfuscation, outright lies, mis/mal/disinformation, and grandstanding?
I will not be surprised if Patel/Bongino resign after fighting a lengthy and bitter battle with congress on behalf of their “honorable” FBI agents. Delay, stonewall, discover evidence is missing, computer records wiped clean, etc. We’ve already seen Patel get big mad when people question the integrity of his pals in the FBI.
