The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has cleared the way for the Trump administration to send National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon. The 9th CCA lifted a lower court’s temporary restraining order that previously blocked the deployment. [Ruling Here]

A three-judge panel for the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals voted 2-1 to stay a district court order that had prevented the deployment of National Guard troops to the city. The majority opinion found it was likely that the president had lawfully exercised his statutory authority.
(Via Politico) – A federal appeals court panel has backed President Donald Trump’s authority to send National Guard troops into Portland, Oregon, concluding that though the president’s claims on social media “may exaggerate” the violence in the city, he may still have had a valid basis for the deployment.
The 2-1 ruling, endorsed by two Trump appointees to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, is the latest win for Trump’s effort to deploy the military into cities across the country over the fierce objections of state and local leaders. Trump has cited violence outside immigration facilities as a basis for the deployments, saying it has impeded his ability to enforce the law, but governors and mayors say there has been minimal unrest and Trump is using largely peaceful protests as a pretext to expand his power. The appeals court ruling is preliminary, and the Lawfare fight is expected to continue. The state of Oregon and city of Portland may seek further review from a larger appeals court panel or appeal directly to the Supreme Court.
A similar Lawfare battle is taking place in Illinois, where a judge has blocked the deployment of National Guard troops. The Trump administration has also appealed that ruling.
Did they really have a choice? At this late date, there are videos out there showing the Navy Seals and Special Operations with the use of Military Intelligence that appears to already PROVE, with evidence in hand from the raids, that the Cartels were AT WAR on American (USA) soil and Military Action has PROOF in Hand that is Exactly what their intent and mission via Foreign Help and Monies was and is.

If President Trump CAN deploy troops to Portland than President Trump has the RIGHT to deploy troops anywhere. The supreme has already made the ruling. How many more has to declare it his right and duty as president? Its about time that the senate makes it a law that any judge who doesn’t abide by the law should be held accountable. That law does not pertain to certain states but our country.
Just nuke it President Trump. You would be doing us all a big favor.
The sole purpose of attacking DHS facilities where ICE raids are planned is to keep ICE so busy they won’t be arresting illegals. That’s it. Shut down the funding and put the protesters in jail and the raids will re-commence in full force. This is another problem with the judicial branch.
The first issue is ‘traffic court’ judges making judgments of presidential decisions that are obviously on their face legal – especially when it involves matters of national security or the president’s PRIMARY responsibility, which is to enforce the law.
The second is that when one of them is smacked down on appeal, it only applies to that single judge’s decision – in the meantime effectively the exact same order remains in place across the country that other judges wrote.
The way it should work is when an upper court rules on a matter (in this case the President CAN use the NG in order to enforce the law when it, in his opinion, can’t be done by regular police forces), then it should apply to ALL the lower court judges’ decisions and they ALL should be overridden/suspended.
Further, when it involves cases of enforcing the law, it should automatically be suspended until the appeals process is complete, as the greater damage is the PUBLIC being subjected to criminal activity is greater than any potential damage to a governor’s or mayor’s ego from not getting their way.
