Today, President Donald Trump will welcome newly elected President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki back to the White House.
President Trump supported Nawrocki in his successful election campaign, and with the primary topic of Ukraine likely at the forefront our U.S. President is expected to discuss the future of the conflict with neighboring Poland.
During discussions and negotiations with EU leaders at the White House last month, President Trump called Nawrocki to join the conversation instead of the globalist adversary, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
According to the White House, President Trump will greet Nawrocki at 11:00am EDT with the two leaders to meet first in the Oval Office before a private lunch. NATO member Poland borders both Russia and Ukraine.

“The success of his (Nawrocki’s) special relationship with the MAGA movement and with President Trump would be if the United States increased its presence in Poland,” Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski told journalists on Tuesday.
Trump has long been supportive of Poland, lauding its leadership in boosting military spending and acknowledging its geographic position in “a tough neighborhood.”
But experts say he will be looking for Warsaw to buy even more U.S. weapons for its own use and to send to Ukraine.
Poland is a big buyer of U.S. arms, such as M1A2 Abrams tanks, F-35 fighter jets, AH-64 Apache helicopters, Javelin missiles and HIMARS rocket launchers. In June, Washington said it would give Poland a $4-billion loan guarantee to buy more. (read more)
Ignace Jan Paderewski (1860-1941), Polish pianist, composer, and statesman, was one of the best-known musicians of his time, as well as a very influential statesman who helped create modern Poland after the first world war. In his many travels Paderewski visited the United States and came to love the country. Among other things, he financed a music scholarship program at Stanford University. When the Nazi and Soviet armies overran Poland at the start of World War II, Paderewski went into exile. When he died in 1941 he was buried in Arlington Cemetery, one of the few, or perhaps the only foreigner to be given that honor. He asked that when Poland was free that his remains be sent to Poland for burial. After Lech Walesa, Pope John Paul and even Ronald Reagan all played a part in obtaining Polish independence. The remains of Paderwski were returned to Poland. Now, it is joyous to see that the Poland-USA love affair remains strong.
For what it is worth, the Polish desire for Liberty was being squashed as ours was being won. And we even had a few Poles helping us win our Liberty.

Not to be forgotten is Jozef Pilsudski, who was the main force in putting Poland literally back onto the maps of Europe, from which it had disappeared in the late 1700’s, when Russia, Prussia, and Austria-Hungary partitioned it among themselves.
Pilsudski, during the chaos after World War, led Polish forces in what as known as The Polish-Soviet War.
Most people do not realize that the war continued in Eastern Europe for several more years, both with the Communist capture of Russia and the attempt by the Communists to retain Poland and the Baltic states.
The Poles were not particularly good at first in resisting the Russian Red Army, and at one point Pilsudski gave the hair-raising order to place machine guns behind his troops to keep them from deserting.
Either fight and risk death against Russian Communists, or take off to desert and face 100% death from your own army’s bullets.
This curious method of persuasion worked, and the Poles were able to restore their country…for less than 20 years, but even so, they succeeded.
Pilsudski died in the 1930’s: who knows what his influence may have wrought, during Hitler’s and Stalin’s rise!

But I simply think that the day is coming when NATO must re-consider itself. It was created to oppose an enemy that no longer exists. But it also promised never to expand its territory in the direction of that enemy. (Wouldn’t a defensive alliance naturally want neutral space?) Now, it is butt-up against that enemy, and apparently trying to add more encirclement – to get ever closer. All while demanding and consuming ever-more amounts of money.

I also would like to have a history of using government funded NGOs to fund politics and politicians in ways that are illegal for government.
