The report by the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency — which was seen by The Associated Press — says that as of May 17, Iran has amassed 408.6 kilograms (900.8 pounds) of uranium enriched up to 60%.
That’s an increase of 133.8 kilograms (294.9 pounds) — or almost 50% — since the IAEA’s last report in February. The 60% enriched material is a short, technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90% [actually, 85% – W]. A report in February put this stockpile level at 274.8 kilograms (605.8 pounds).

Iran has further stepped up its production of highly enriched uranium, according to the UN nuclear watchdog, which set out “serious concern” at the development.
In a confidential report seen by the BBC, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Iran now possesses over 400kg of uranium enriched to 60% purity – well above the level used for civilian purposes and close to weapons grade, and a near 50% increase in three months.
It is enough for about 10 nuclear weapons if further refined, making Iran the only non nuclear-armed state producing uranium at this level.

That 408.6 kg of 60% U235 is 286 kg of U235 when enriched to 90% weapons grade. That’s enough for about 33 implosion devices. I suspect the 10 bomb claim is for the much simpler, but MUCH less efficient gun type weapons that take more U235.
