President Trump is transparent in his words and actions.  He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others.  His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in the country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass.  This term, he is weeding them out faster.

The purpose of President Trump is plainly visible and consistent:  He is for the benefit  first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world.   It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.

The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.

He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.

He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.

He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.

He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.

He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.

He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse,  and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.

He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.

He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.

He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.

The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation. 

Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles.  They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people.  President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.

These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 132 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

My take on tariffs…the manufacturer tries to ride out the tariff for a very short time.

If they pass on price rises to the consumer, no one buys their product anymore.

Manufacturer lowers their price (profit margin) because no sales equals no profit.

Reduced profit is better than no profit.

(Alternative is to manufacture inside the U.S. to avoid the tariff).

There is a lot of fearmongering, but reduced profit always beats no profit.

How much steel does Nippon Steel export to the U.S. and how does their ownership of U.S. Steel, applauded today, affect their exports and status regarding any tariffs? How does it compare to other foreign steel manufacturer’s exports and tariff matrix?

I’m always interested when a foreign entity comes in to prop up a domestic company in decline. Follow the money. It rarely is altruistic, even in Andrew Carnegie’s day.

Remembering the U.S. Steel going into the S.S. United States and her many, many years of languishing in Philly until the recent tow to Mobile, I was thinking of the Philly Shipyard tonight and PDJT attending the keel laying of a containership, one of those big ones, ten thousand TEU or better, there, as the new push for Made in America proceeds.

Then, I had a sobering moment when discovering the Philly Shipyard, like U.S. Steel, is now foreign owned. Who? Koreans.

Now I’ll be curious to read about what shipyards in Korea are owned and operated by American companies. By owned, I mean the land, equipment, everything. While China controls the shipbuilding industry globally, Korea is still a major player and ships still use steel. Will/Does the Korean shipyard in Philly use the Japanese steel made by U.S. Steel?

Your post caused me to remember the crusty old local who showed me around the Wellington area, mostly the countryside, when I first started scouting NZ and Aus about twenty years ago. In my 20 years of living up here and being a diesel mechanic for 28, Ive never been able to get employment directly with the mines, for they cater to legacy individuals. Small world and nepotism comes with it. The ore is running out, Cleveland Cliffs in Hibbing, MN claims the have less than 75 years of ore left. The ore mined up here isn’t even that good coming in at 25% purity.

Well, it certainly would behoove the other parties involved to perhaps cooperate seeing as how Graham is warming up in the bullpen.
