The Supreme Court lifted a lower-court judge’s ruling that paused the administration’s ban on mentally unstable people who were uncertain of their gender. The DEI judges (Latino, Lesbian and Black) dissented.
Previously, President Trump stopped allowing transvestites to participate in military service for obvious ‘mission critical’ reasons. A lower court said that was unconstitutional and blocked the ban. The Supreme Court has ruled 6-3 that stopping psychologically unstable trans-identifying people, was within the scope of authority of the commander in chief.

Two federal district judges had previously blocked the administration’s ban, finding the move was so unsupported that it could not be sustained even when showing great deference to military leaders. These coordinators are almost impossible to find, and if you do get one on the phone, it is obvious they were only assigned to answer the phone and refer you elsewhere. No credentials are listed, so they could be any VA staffer assigned to answer the phone.

The plaintiffs filled a motion for a temporary injunction with the court. The court granted the motion and enjoined the US from enforcing the EO.
The US immediately appealed the decision of the court to the USCA 9th Circuit. The US filed a motion to stay the district court order for a temporary injunction while on appeal. The USCA denied the motion. The US submitted an emergency motion for a stay to the USSC, which that court just granted.
At this point the preliminary injunction is stayed/not in effect while the matter is being argued in the USCA 9th Circuit.
However there is another case in the DC District Court, Talbot v US covering the same thing. I haven’t looked into where that one is.
