The inflationary impact to any specific country is directly proportionate to the scale of the government intervention in the COVID lockdown spend. Almost all of the nations who deployed the WEF program are in the same inflationary position.
The U.S., U.K., New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the EU, within which Germany is the largest economy, all followed the WEF spending instructions.
(Germany) – According to the German Retail Association (HDE), consumers should prepare for another wave of price hikes for everyday goods and groceries.
Even before the outbreak of war in Ukraine, prices had risen by about five per cent “across the product range” as a result of increased energy prices, HDE President Josef Sanktjohanser told the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung on Friday.
With Russia’s invasion hitting economies and the supply chain harder, yet another series of price increases is on the horizon. “The second wave of price increases is coming, and it will certainly be in double figures,” Sanktjohanser warned. (read more)
Every time the supermarket checkout rings, a yellow vested rebel is created.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” my favorite movie of all time. As pertinent today as when it was written.
Great minds think alike … (posted before seeing your comment) … 🙂
Didn’t President Trump warn them of this?
And once again, he was right!
The story is timeless and has never been improved by ensuing movies on that theme.
I love the ” toast scene ” when the Greek family moves into the new HOME. Bread, salt and wine!!
And a goat in the old model A!!
Absolutely! And Joe Biden is busy turning America into “Pottersville.”
It’s never been improved upon – true that! And, now we’re seeing it play out in real life… I pray that we don’t turn into Pottersville, despite how hard all the good little Leftists are trying to make that happen. Pray hard everyone, and get right with God.
I dunno. Downtown seemed like a happening place. Meanwhile the real horror was that Donna Reed was an “old maid”.
Perfect………..priceless …….
B.O.H.I.C.A.
Kroger corp just raised the price of chicken brsts by another 30 cents / lb. for a total of 50 cents in the last 4 months.
Exactly.
You KNOW things are going to get REALLY BAD when they WARN you that there will be price increases, instead of just slowly edging them up while hoping you won’t notice.
That way they can go full rapid deployment on ever rising prices.
They are up over $1/ lb. in my Kroger-related store over the last 6 months, and have been out several times. We mainly eat vegetarian, lettuce and tofu are up significantly and often not available. Have been digging up sod to install more garden.
Pescetarian here!
I’m an omnivore, and am expanding my garden to twice it’s size! There are going to be a few rough years ahead, if we’re lucky. Pray hard.
Please remember to produce compost. Even meat or sauces are good.
Seriously, pee in it too. Urea is excellent fertilizer.
Potatoes are generally grateful plants. And delicious when freshly harvested.
You know who joined the Board of Trustees for Kroger in 2021? Why, Mrs. Mitch McConnell, Elaine Chao… Coincidence, right?
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2021/08/09/krog-a09.html (I normally wouldn’t cite this site, but I like what they said about her… 😉 )
This may not seem like much, but today while grocery shopping, I saw the price of garlic was 89 cents for ONE BULB. Not too long ago it was 69 cents!
Three weeks ago at Sam’s Club in Sarasota, FL, boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a package of 8-10 pieces were $1.99/lb; today, the same package was $2.78/lb. That’s a lot of inflation…
And a lot more to come!
Brandon did that!
I guess I should feel fortunate to be in enemy territory then, only a .50 cent premium here vs .79 cent premium in free territory.
They did hit the .20 cent premium much earlier here tho before the .30 cent premium last week.
Saw 10 lbs frozen chicken wings at Sam’s Club today for $38!
The wife and I watch UFC from home every Saturday. Been buying wings since 2019 from Aldi, Costco or Sams.
In 2019 Sams and Costco 19lbs were are $16-18 . 4lbs at Aldi was $6.75 today $12.75
Gave an item I really wanted at Aldis a pass today because of the price.
That’s never happened before.
Large Frozen Scallops used to be $9.00 -expensive, but such a treat.
Now they are waaay smaller and $13.50. Crazy.
As kids we used to cut the wings off a Skate fish and use a cookie cutter to punch out the meat in the wings.
We Scots sold them to English tourists as scallops😉
They taste when cooked much like scallops, and way,way cheaper.
( they looked down on us heathens)
Some restaurants do that here in Florida as well. I like the skate scallops because you don’t get the sand grit that you sometimes get in the real thing.
Yep, the grain shortage sure is starvin them thar molluscs…
Was it a bad year? Are mussels smaller too?
Its all planned. They want you to eat “Impossible Meats”.
Biden has paid billions to farmers this year not to plant and leave fallow. Gavin Newsome in Cali has the farmers in a stranglehold. All planned.
We tried the stuff (we like Gardenburgers and Boca), it is terrible. But Gates probably thinks Dick’s Drive In in Seattle has good food, and the quality of flavor is about the same.
I love the fakey hamburger, hot dogs, bacon and sausages made from vegetables. My ex gf is a pescatarian, like me, and that’s all she’ll serve in the way of non fish. When I put tomatoes, onions, lettuce and condiments on them I absolutely enjoy them. I enjoy spicy foods and most ethnic foods. I eat this way because I think it’s better for me. YRMV.
Be careful that you do not get any of the meat substitutes put on the market by Bill Gates. It is lab-grown synthetic “meat”.
Fake food replaces animal products with highly processed food grown in labs, like fake meat, fake dairy products or fake eggs. It is made possible by technical innovations such as synthetic biology, which involves reconfiguring the DNA of an organism to create something entirely new.
I’d go with Morning Star products. They are at most grocery stores and are made of bean curd and/or wheat gluten. Morningstar sausage is very tasty and you avoid heart-attack animal fat.
Have you ever read the ingredients list of fake burgers?
There have long been rumors that “Impossible Meats” includes blood and fetal parts from Plann$d Paren$hood abortions for taste. IPOT1776 did a series of videos where he mapped out Impossible Foods factories and showed that their physical locations were inevitably located adjacent to or near an abortion facility.
And canada closed atlantic fisheries.
At Walmart’s in Cave Creek, Arizona, the same boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a package of 3 pieces were $4.50/lb. last week.
If I may rephrase just a wee bit:
“Every time the supermarket checkout rings, a patriot gets his wings.”
Excellent!!
When the register rings
Biden gets the fing!
I just want to say, there is a group in Germany so wildly brainwashed, I have no idea what it is going to take to snap them out of it. You literally have the TVs over there saying that Russia stopping the oil was the plan all along- and they are eating it up. Scary stuff.
Perhaps the descendants of the families interviewed in the early 1950s by Milton Mayer when he was researching his book They Thought They Were Free. He lived with them and interviewed them repeatedly over the period of more than a year.
The title of his book was drawn from the observation that the Germans who had lived through Hitler’s times (including a tailor, a cabinetmaker, a high school student, a teacher, and a policeman) were ok with how things had unfolded They just took a low profile, kept plugging away from day to day, and never had had burned into their awareness what the outside world concluded and now remembers about Nazi Germany and about Hitler.
They thought they were free, even as events were happening. They thought things were ok., even as it happened.
One of his summary lines in his foreward to the 1966 edition says,
“What was said long ago is true: Nations are not made of oak and rock but of men, and as the men are, so will the nations be.”
There have always been groups in German that are wildly brainwashed.
There have always been groups in the United States that are clueless and, therefore, dangerous.
When the numbers of such groups becomes great enough (including illegal aliens), it is they who will determine where the nation goes next.
81 million Americans voted for a senile old fool suffering dementia in 2020. I don’t like where they are taking the country.
NO!
“81 million Americans” DID NOT vote “for a senile old fool…….”
You are witnessing the CATASTROPHIC CONSEQUENCES of a STOLEN ELECTION!!!
To add, there have always been Patriots in America and they are more numerous and smarter than the dangerous clueless.
Sharon – this is possibly the best post I’ve ever read here, thanks.
Sounds like something my Lib sis would say.
>>>> we’ve got ’em in the U.S., too!
I’m waiting for the Wake Up, but it hasn’t happened yet.
“there is a group in Germany so wildly brainwashed”
Well … and also batsh1t crazy as well:
German Man Under Investigation After Getting 90 Covid Shots in Order to Sell Forged Vaccine Passes
I heard the guy has a big heart, and likes to help others.
I lived in Germany for 10 years…a German guy once said to me no matter the situation we Germans will always get it wrong.
The U.S., U.K., New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the EU, within which Germany is the largest economy
Is the German economy bigger than the USA economy?

Grandma’s Rules at the treehouse.
OK I apologize and I hope that you can forgive me.
See how easy that is?
Shoulda said Grandma caught covid and passed…
Then bask in the sympathy posts.
Naw, it’s just easy to apologize and put the ball in the other court.
Works every time.
But I like your thinking, LOL.
F you sonny. I’m still here. Love, Grandma
Evelyn Wood speed reading course will do that.
JFK was a speed reader.
Scary, when you think of it.
Who was EW anyway? An invented marketing brand?
Never mind, Googly is my friend. She did exist and scammed her way into history.
Was that Ed Wood’s alter ego?
What did they call it on Saturday Night Live back in the days when it used to be funny?
Evelyn Woodhead’s Sped Redding Course?
Somping like dat. . .
It would appear so.😁
Can ya find it in your heart to forgive me?
This is a great example of a post turning into a pylon.
Pylon vs Pile-on. I’ll buy a vowel for the win.
LOL! No, just the comedy hour at the Tree House! 😂
👍 👍 it ‘s all good.
I had to read this a couple of times too 4.
Think about this statement and you will understand.
EU, within which Germany is the largest economy
Smart ppl can be smart a$$e$ now and again, they can’t help it.
Interesting to see which leaders warn their people to stock up:
‘Most challenging period in history’: Tajikistan’s President urges citizens to stockpile 2 years worth of food amidst global instability
https://www.sott.net/article/466271-Most-challenging-period-in-history-Tajikistans-President-urges-citizens-to-stockpile-2-years-worth-of-food-amidst-global-instability
In the conditions of the “extremely tense” setting in the world, it is necessary to be cohesive and vigilant, ready to protect the sovereignty and security of the state, the President of Tajikistan added: “When the political, military, economic and social situation in the world is extremely tense, crisis, complex and dangerous, The issue of independence and freedom of individual countries and their statehood is seriously raised, which encourages each of us to be cohesive and ensure the security of the state and society. We are obliged to always be ready to protect the invaluable gift of our life – state independence and its achievements. “
I’m not sure I would be telling the world where the starving hordes can get food when the anarchy starts.
The average Kazakhstani is armed and knows how to shoot, the starving hordes will eat lead, here in Canada, it will be only the right and right thinking who survive, the lefties are weak, unarmed and helpless without mommy government.
Out here in British Columbia it’s quite something to witness the apoplectic responses to price increases.
Especially gasoline.
The mask wearing, President Trump hating Zombies are taking it worst.
My nasty side comes out when around them, and remind any I am around of prices when PDJT was at the helm.
We are well situated here, as we are right on the Can/U.S border and have freezers full of meat, fish and Chicken.
Another is full of fruit and veggies..
Thirty pounds of rice and flats of water.
We even have 3 cords of wood stacked in our sheds.
Even though we are in a small city..
A lefty neighbour approached me when I was moving the wood and asked if I was allowed to burn wood. I just shook my head and said of course and turned away.
Many renovated, and all newer homes were banned from installing wood fireplaces.
( Our fireplaces are grandfathered in. )
So if the gas our electric is cut off or exorbitant in price, we will cook on our propane BBQ and heat the house with wood.
Crazy thoughts…who knows.
Neither the wife or I can legally leave Canada as we have not, nor will take the poison.
Western governments are my enemy.
Cheers!
You can even cook on the woodstove or in the fireplace if the propane goes out. Lucky!!
And that area of the world has a lot of Asian Grocery Stores where you can get those BIG bags of rice. Good stuff.
You are very knowledgeable.
We buy the “ Elephant “ brand basmati from India at a local store, an 8.8 pound bag was on for under $9.00 ( Can) last week.
One can get the mega bags a bi cheaper, but not the quality basmati.
You are correct we are fortunate in that we have numerous produce markets nearby that are Asian owned.
We have two within a 5 minute drive that are superb..the owners are tremendous and the prices are terrific.
Cheers! Your comments are always appreciated.
100% about the big bags of rice
You sound well prepared – GOOD!!! Too many are just plain clueless. I’ve had a bad feeling in my gut since, well, since Nov. 4, 2020… And, I’ve taken major steps I never would have otherwise – took our modest nest egg entirely out of the stock market, bought a bit of physical gold & silver, as well as lots of dried foods, water storage, ammo, and pet food (gotta take care of the fur babies!). We had a good supply of canned/dried foods, pet food & ammo before this, but have really beefed it all up. This month I’ll be expanding our garden to twice it’s current size.
I NEVER imagined prior to Nov. 2020 that America – and world – would be in this kind of shape in just over a year!!! But, I was pretty asleep until then. And, looking back, this has been planned & carried out over decades, many decades.
We’re in a small town in northern Wyoming. I’m actually starting to clear out our freezers – I just have a bad feeling that a grid-down “situation” will be occurring… Either in lieu of, or in addition to, an internet-down “situation” occurring… Given the F’s “in charge”, it could easily be both at once. I just wish we had an indoor wood stove/cooker. But, I’ll be discussing a retrofit with some handymen around town to see if it can be done with our place.
Please don’t get caught with rotting food! There’s lots of videos on how to dry fruit, can fruit, dry meat, smoke meat, can meat, etc.
Deckster, what are you going to do when the electric goes out and your freezers and coolers go down?
Remember no electric no fuel. No fuel no generator. Even if you had fuel, how long will that run a generator?
Think dry goods…
Just wanted to make sure you had considered this important topic.
More coming into this country every day.
The price of food keeps going up. Stop buying so much food. People eat too much food as it is. What is it 85% of Americans are too fat?
Americans need to condition themselves to eat one instead of two.
Morbid obesity is rampant in our area and far too many people are noticably overweight.
If it come down to it some people could easily survive on one meal a day for a long time.
Yes, it’s better to take the one and divide it by three and eat 3 times a day. It is sort of amusing to hear fatso’s complain about food prices.
Concentrating calories into a single meal is an extremely effective weight loss strategy.
There is another thought about it. 33% of our calories are used for digestion. A little food throughout times a day keeps the digestive machine running and burning calories all day. The system doesn’t store calories but burns calories. Greater and faster weight loss than eating just once per day.
I think different people react differently to timing their eating -perhaps based on whether they have a tendency to high blood sugar or to hypoglycemia.
Please check-out Dr. Jason Fung’s books on internet videos on Intermittent Fasting. His suggestions worked for me and several other people I know and it is simple and easy to keep going even though at first the idea of skipping a meal may seem impossible. Your body adjusts to the new schedule in a short time and it becomes painless.
Especially those gorging on a supersized soda, burger and fries.
So many folks think economizing on food means selecting from the economy menu of their favorite fastfood spot.
Actually, intermittent fasting – as in reducing the three meals down to two or even one and eating in a shorter window of time each day – is very effective for weight loss and eliminating prediabetes and inflammation.
Don’t tell us living in the tropics how to live! Thanks.
Eat one what? Steak, pork chop, burger?
Can I have three fries with that?
Off topic, but beautiful dog, Smokey Jo.
Thanks! (not that I had anything to do with it, lol)
My pack.
Yay, figured out how to post a picture, y’all are in trouble now. (if I remember, lol)
Beautiful…..and so smartly dressed!
Your fur babies are smarter than 81 million American adults.
…for tomorrow we die 👍
And what is YOUR nationality, and are YOU overweight? I’ll bet you are… or were. It’s always the ones who feel guilty that LOVE to pile the guilt onto others…!!! Psychology 101.
You got that right Fang, keep your health and stop eating poison sugar!
Stockpile 2 years worth of food! Sounds like lots of beans and jerky. Frozen might last 3 months after that it’s pretty much dried and canned. Have to see if the local Surplus has any MRE’s left!
Frozen will last more than 3 months depending upon how well it is prepared for freezing. I added a new freezer and took food from an older one to new and discovered a turkey with tag that I purchased in 2014. Not wanting to waste, I thawed and cooked, planning on feeding it to our dogs if not edible. It was delicious, lol .
I stand corrected! Thanks.
2014 turkey probably cost $0.19/lb.?
Two years worth.
That’s a leader who’s really looking out for people.
Pretty sure our .gov recommends 2 weeks.
The Mormon leadership recommends two years’ worth of food storage for every man, woman and child in a Mormon household. They have set up canneries to help their congregations to just that, and many of them will open cannery stores for public purchase. I’m not Mormon, but I have purchased sealed food items from the cannery from time to time. It’s not gourmet, but its general staples (beans, rice, flour, oatmeal, pasta, potato flakes), with a few extras (dried apples, bananas, carrots, milk, eggs, sour cream).
Yes, the Mormons really put us Christians to shame w/ how they take care of their entire communities… THIS is a huge deal, and a huge part that we’re lacking.
Yes, VERY interesting to see that only a few (as far as we know) have done so, yet OURS most certainly has NOT. Which is all by design. The better to kill us with, my pretty.
Looks like Biteme will need to start releasing the nation’s strategic reserves of food to bring the price of food down.
Sorry. Biteme didnt have a Joseph in his administrarion to even consider building a strategic food reserve.
Not to worry though, he and his cronies no doubt have personal reserves of the very best foods and beverages!
Including gourmet chocolate ice cream for Ole’ Nazi Pelosi!!!
Pretty sure hyperinflation is 50% increase in a month. Article on zerohedge saying 20-50% price increases starting tomorrow!

How much has beer gone up?
That’s the key.
Time to start buying in bulk?
You just know its going to be skyrocketing .
10 pesos for a 6 pack of Tecate Lite in Mexico. 50 cents! 70 pesos now was 60 including tax.
Wish I liked Tecate! I would make a quick trip across the border and stock up! How much for Dos Equis?
Buy a beer making kit
I did! It’s in a box, hidden away, in case of confiscations in the future! It makes 5 gallons. I should’ve gotten many more boxes… I wanna say it was about 45 bucks last year on Amazon.
Schadenfreude.
Not when they’re the canary in our coal mine.
They had best start aquiring a taste for garden weeds and acumulating sawdust as a subsitite for wheat in bread.
Lets eat grandma!
NorseAmerican: Not until she gets her second booster. You can’t be too safe these days.
In desperate times its a chance one might have to take.
We’re talking spike proteins. So, truly a protein source.
Protein shakes, they’re all the rage.
No illegals yummy
Naughty!
The EU is in deep trouble. They have limited agricultural land because the EU bureaucrats have made regulations so onerous for farmers, it isn’t profitable. So only Spain and parts of France really much of anything but they are really reliant on Ukraine and Russia. Now they can’t even outsource to Northern Africa because fertilizer prices are so high they won’t be able to feed their own countries!
All by design, just like the extremely underproducing “green” energy… All by design.
Rebels actually DO things.
From what I can tell, our side just whines.
There is no reason to expect the elections will be honest.
Until we have to show ID and until we return to paper ballots, no such thing will be possible.
come on baby ….. give me just one more hit of HOPIUM… pleeeeeeze
/s/
Take that, Putin!
I will start worrying about it when I see American kids with flies in their eyes sitting on sand like the kids do in Ethiopia. In the mean time I will just watch fat-ass Sally Struthers rip off another wrapper off another snickers candy bar.
Oh, how convenient this war in Ukraine is for these WEF governments. That article is blaming the increase in food prices on the war in Ukraine, when the war in Ukraine has not had time to affect the supply chain of food – there have been no harvests.
No, but it is affecting futures of certain commodities integral to food prices.
Yes, however, the supply chains were being broken long before that.
The internet joke is that Putin should get a Nobel Prize for ending Covid.
Luckily enough, not much inflation in Australia as yet, 3.5% annual were the last figures reported.
The next figure will be higher owing to the impacts of isolation policies during the Omicron wave in January/February and the impact of skyrocketing petrol prices.
Having said that, petrol prices have dropped about 40-50c a litre in the last two weeks (about $1.50-$2 a gallon).
Fertilizer prices (due to hoarding by China and Russia) are gonna bite everyone in the rear eventually.
The organic and/or regenerative farmers may have an amazingly good 2022.
For that price I would be wishing I still had access to that 100 gallon storage tank we had back on the farm when I was a kid. For a buck and a half a gallon that sucker would be full!
BTW Grandpa paid 27 cents a gallon for it delivered! Talking 1955 here folks!
People need to warn how Biden’s policies will exacerbate the food shortage in the world. Famine is very likely to happen. … America needs policies to encourage more food production. There’s a litany of helpful Republican policies which could be enacted. Biden’s puppet-masters will ~NOT listen, unfortunately.
The Free Enterprise System working within God’s Will can produce Food Abundance.
If the policies are enacted tomorrow, it will be too late. The planting decisions are being made now and some have been made for a while. The farmer that rents my farm for corn is sidelining less-productive acreage. That does not include my land, at least not yet. He is trying to lock in a supply of fertilizer for side dressing. It is not an issue of price as much as availability.
Have a word with Bill Gates, owner of half the farmland in the United States. But make certain he’s not growing anything that will turn us all in transhumans.
And when you’re done with him, scoot on over to the Chinese Embassy. They own quite a bit as well.
Talk about selling America out.
Selling out of America has been going on for decades.
Nothing new, except some people are waking up and they will be completely awake as their stomachs growl with deep hunger.
It is 100% ridiculous that an advanced nation like the USA does have a fertilizer system tied into our waste water management.
We should not require one ounce of fertilizer from Russia or any other nation for that matter.
Chemical fertilizers are almost sterile and are safe to spread on food crops. About 1/2 of treated sewage is used on crops but there are objections because of the contaminants and chemicals that remain after treatment. In the end, there is not nearly enough of it to replace chemical fertilizers.
That is the problem, there simply isn’t enough organic sourced fertilizer to replace the chemical fertilizers that support the world’s population.
Not quite tied in but Milwaukee has Milorganite.
Talk to Kellogg. They collect and process a lot of the sewage treatment plant end product. My Brother-in-Law was a Biologist and Lab Manager for years for the LA Dept of Sanitation.
Biosolids or “humanure” are being used. However, that may end. There are thousands of substances that make it through the human ailimentary tract and into the waste water.
https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/oct/05/biosolids-toxic-chemicals-pollution
Now, at least one state has passed a law that allows for “water cremation” in which a human body can be dissolved in an alkaline solution. Only the bones are left. That “biosludge” is destined for disposal into the waste water system.
Like Stalin said, “Dark humor is like food – not everybody gets it.”
Dark indeed.
Wasn’t that the “who counts the votes wins” guy?
Da. Always good for a laugh.
Imagine waking up in Germany tomorrow morning, where you head down to your local grocery store only to find everything has risen in price by 20 to 50 percent overnight…
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/german-retailers-increase-food-prices-20-50-monday
I’ve noticed one product that has held price for the entire ordeal. Through the plandemic while all other “snack items” (some of us consider them essential staples) were shrinking packages or actual product size and package prices were going up one product line held price. During the third reign of obumus malodorous one product is holding the price line:
Poptarts.
I have theories.
Would love to hear your theories.
The theory that seems most likely is that the shelf life is so long that all the product we are seeing now predates the events mentioned. This is not actually as far-fetched as it sounds. I’m told that dry cereal and other products are made in production runs of weeks or months before switching to another variety of product.
Twinkies will save us.
I prefer Ding Dongs and HoHos.
Ha! You’re probably right!
You’re buying 3 YO Pop Tarts!
Read this and laughed, scrolled by, was still laughing. I’m back, would love to hear your theories. (my husband loves Poptarts, brown sugar, the only garbage food item I will buy him.)
I haven’t laughed so hard in quite some time.
You can confirm my observation then on pricing. Or is it a local thing?
Same here!!!
If you google “Pop Tarts” you will find a ton of clever fake “Pop Tart” flavors. I think there was a “Fish Hooks” “Pop Tart” choice?
poptarts green is people
I’ll have to check I haven’t had a Poptart in years!
I liked Poptarts before they were all glazed.
An unglazed brown sugar or strawberry poptart toasted with melted butter!
Ah, those were the days.
Well, I guess I won’t be having Bratwurst and Saurkraut for a while!
“Even before the outbreak of war in Ukraine, prices had risen by about five per cent “across the product range” as a result of increased energy prices, HDE President Josef Sanktjohanser told the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung on Friday.”
Hmmm. The Germans haven’t gotten the message that Putin caused those increased energy prices.
But wait. All will be well soon. (sarc) Victoria Nuland is on her way to make in-person visits to several countries including Germany. This food inflation warning from the German govt is nicely timed to help Ms. Nuland have a pleasant and productive Russian regime change tour.
https://www.state.gov/under-secretary-nulands-travel-to-france-turkey-greece-cyprus-and-germany/
Fortunately, history extends to us the comforting lesson that nothing bad results from hyperinflation in the German economy.
I would hate to see 1929 repeated 100 years later.
Get small, stay small, in terms of debt and risk.
Get large, stay large, in terms of Belief, Honor, and Faith.
The faithful, humble, and constant, people: They will be Blessed.
“They” may yet get to see people eat weeds and bugs as “they” eat choice meats and vegetables.
20 minutes ago they announced 50 percent increase in Germany.
Brace for impact!
It will be interesting to see what happens when the hoards come out of the inner city to the suburbs to take whats rightfully theirs, or so theyve been told.
They should take care to pick from the “right” hoods!
They just need to look for “Gun Free Zone” signs in every upscale Leftist neighborhood along with taking note of “Coexist” Bumper stickers on vehicles parked in driveways.
That should get the hoards off to a good start.
https://johngaltfla.com/economics/that-didnt-take-long-less-than-48-hours-after-the-gas-was-shut-off-latvia-agrees-to-pay-in-rubles/amp/
The last news did it. We are ordering about forty extra chickens and guinea foul and we have decided to raise some pigs, goats and a few lambs. I have just finished making a huge vegetable garden and I am preparing for the deer hunting season in the fall to stock our freezers with venison.
I am also getting ready to go fishing down at our coast and also do some crabbing for a few bushels of incredibly delicious blue crabs. We are really lucky as we own 57 acres in rural NE Florida where we can do much as we like without any crap from city officials or other control freaks. We here are FREE !!!!!
I feel really sorry for the city dwellers. I myself lived in the middle of Manhattan, NYC for five long years. I can only imagine what’s in store for the majority of the unfortunate denizens of the big apple in the very near future.
My advice is to get the Hell out while you still can and come to rural Florida where the land is still affordable. Florida is of course a free state and in my opinion the very best place in the US to live along with the most fantastic governor.
Not too many people know that Florida has a huge amount of rural land in its north. We sold our house in Charlotte NC’s suburbia to buy our house on its huge lot here in NE Florida. Such is still possible. Check it out on the internet.
By the way it won’t just be food that will go sky high in price and in short supply. The fertilizer to grow our food is already over three times higher than it was last year which is obviously going to translate into super high food prices.
The diesel fuel to deliver all of our food and goods is already over double what it was last year due to the Biden regime purposely shutting down US oil production. They (whoever the Hell is running the country) Put an end to America being 100% energy independent for the first time in over 70 years under President Trump on Biden’s very first day in office.
Electricity, gas, clothing, tools and all other products are all set to explode in pricing. There is absolutely no way out of it at this point. Putin has just valued the ruble against the price of gold. This will devastate both the US dollar and the Euro.
All of this is a PLANNED attack on the American people by the UN, WEF, the CCP and the democratic party. This is why they stole the election from President Trump. It was all a well planned by American hating traitors and globalists.
Stock up now while you can and if you live in a city, MOVE ASAP to a rural area in a free state such as Florida or Texas. GET THE HELL OUT IF YOU CAN. There is still plenty of relatively cheap land available in most rural areas. Most people from the cities can easily work from home in this high tech age via the internet. Go for it and GOD BLESS AMERICA.
I could tell you were from a ‘blue area’ and inviting people down.
Please, we do not want them thinking they can come to a free state and take advantage.
We don’t need any needy blue staters coming into the free states.
Why? You believe I am mean, cruel and selfish.
Wrong!
We are already dealing with an invasion on our borders with millions of illegals and very soon it will be millions more per month!!!
It’s breaking point time.
Take care of your own. Live your best life now.
The real estate in Central Florida is not as affordable anymore. Too many people are moving here and traffic keeps getting worse.
My wife has about 50 chickens now with another 6 in the incubator.
Looking to plant a hay bale garden this year also.
If you didn’t like the globalists before, just wait til you see them when a competing dollar currency threatens the very existence of globalism.
Attorney Todd Callendar goes all the way, while too many others cling, despite the mounting evidence, to the comfortable familiars of econometricularity.
The issue is not what favored interest got the coffin contract steered its way. That’s yesterday’s tame old graft and corruption.
It’s that 2 billion coffins have been ordered (in a manner of speaking).

We’re in the midst of demand-kill inflation, an economic term for genocide. After all, the various -flations presume an existent humanity to log transactions.
Mass extinction events have a way of taming inflation.
I suppose that a “mass extinction event” could dovetail with food shortages so that the two events would cancel and there wouldn’t be any shortages after all.
Whether that is true or not, I think our main focus should be on building up our local communities. We need a spiritual awakening, we have to help people receive the free gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus. Human life is not ultimately about filling our bellies.
Every time the supermarket checkout rings, a yellow vested rebel is created.
Or, some new bogeyman for the masses to fixate on for a couple of months.
Prices will go up whether or not they have to. That is why the announcement.
And didn’t Russia just cut off their gas supplies to Germany the other day.? How long before we start seeing major rioting in Germany and other EU countries. I am hearing that in the UK, people are not heating their homes, just so they can afford to pay for groceries. Next 6 months should be very interesting.
Its not the price of food going up its our fiat currency losing value. Theres a difference. Biden’s handlers and NWO aided by the congress are printing and spending as fast as possible. There is no budget just omnibus spending bills with no accountability. They might as well call out the airforce and carpet bomb the world with $100 bills. Its the run up to the digital currency. Heres our future. They are running the beta test in Venezuela.
Witnesses have told the Press of war crimes against civilians in Bucha, as the town was liberated by Ukrainian forces. In one account, a 33-year-old mother and her two sons, eight and four, were shot dead by troops in a Russian armored vehicle, along with a 62-year-old man, as they had sought to flee in two cars.
The bodies of at least 20 men in civilian clothes, one of whom had his hands tied, have been found lying in a street in Bucha, as Russian forces made what authorities in Kyiv said was a “rapid retreat” from territory around the capital on Saturday.
Ukrainian forces took around 30 towns and villages around Kyiv, including Brovary, a key city east of the capital. But President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the retreating troops were creating “a complete disaster” by leaving mines in homes and corpses as they retreated.
Pope Francis has said he is considering visiting the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, and for the first time implicitly criticized the Russian president Vladimir Putin over the invasion of Ukraine. “We had thought invasions of other countries, savage street fighting and atomic threats were grim memories of a distant past,” he said.
Ukrainian military intelligence reported that residents in Izium, a city in east Ukraine, had given Russian soldiers from the 3rd Motor Rifle Division of the Russian Federation poisoned pies, killing two and putting 28 in intensive care.
Some wag on the first of April posted that Aldi was going to raise the prices of 200 articles by 30% come Monday.
Of course those of us deeming ourselves über sage rushed to Lidl, at 7 AM before they could react, to bunker yet another 500€ worth of provisions, be it milk, cheese or butter.
Then off to Aldi.
Oops.
April Fool.
Cheese, medium aged Gouda is steady at 6€/kilo.
Milk 80c per liter.
Pork available at 3.9€/kilo…
Grrr. Do not believe all you read.
Every damn reporter believed the little hoax.
Yes, oil is unavailable, unless you prefer good cold pressed ones. No sunflower oil to be had. Nor cheap white flour, but why would you buy that?
Prices HAVE gone up, but frozen duck is steady at 3.4€/kilo, veg is coming down as the Mediterranean greenhouse produce is ripening.
Yeah, wheat…
Germany had the cheapest quality food, especially in relation to GDP, in Europe.
Mustard is supposed to be the new pepper, but it still retails at 29c for a glass. Hmmm.
Someone is hyping things.

Of course, the energy and transport costs are going to filter in over time.
Animal food prices WILL rise. Meat prices WILL rise.
Inflation is officially about 8%.
I would say, 15-20%, year on year, and getting worse.
Fun fact: as inflation rises, with interest rates stagnant at 1-2%, everyone is buying property. House prices are getting ridiculous, but if the money is worthless soon, it means nothing. Germany has forgotten the hyperinflation of the 30’s.
Nice to see an objective article about food inflation.
No, not Covid or Putin related.
Yes, related to the policies of your leaders.
That might be why the German politicians gave themselves a very nice $ raise before telling their serfs to figuratively “eat cake”.
Just like after WWI.
We who are charged with your safety and well being are going to make life unbearable to punish Putin !
