The Associated Press attempted a hit piece on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over his promotion for monoclonal antibody treatment for early stage COVID recovery. The treatment from Regeneron was purchased by the federal government in January of 2021. However, the AP attempted to claim a small investor in Regeneron was also a supporter of Ron DeSantis…. the implication was a quid-pro-quo.
The attempt was so weak, so lacking of substance and silly, that few additional media attempted to join the AP in their narrative. Even the far-left politifact had to call out the Fake News. After the AP refused to clear the record and drop the nonsense, Governor Ron DeSantis and his spokesperson, Christina Pushaw, unleashed on the AP in a similar way they crushed a similar 60-Minutes effort earlier in the year.
Ms. Pushaw simply re-tweeted the AP story and said “drag them” to her followers and DeSantis supporters. The Associated Press is not used to having the MAGA army take action and start ridiculing them. New rules...
After the AP and their narrative engineer started to get push-back for their fake news narrative, the Associated Press executives clutched their pearls and started crying, documenting their complaint to the Governors office:

So the predator attempting to instigate a press mob against DeSantis, under false pretenses no less, is outraged that they could be subject to the same treatment in righteousness in defense calling them out for their behavior. Internets been around a while. Anyone too thin skinned to take some online heat might as well crawl under a rock. Fair Game. In this case, government made no law. If press is going to slander, the press can expect to be dragged and spammed. It is free both ways. Government entities and elected officials are under no obligation to suffer an out of control press in silence.

Don’t think for one second that you will be given monoclonals in Florida if you suffer from Uninsured White Privelege. Self pay patients must be on their “death bed” to receive this treatment. Funny how Our Governor said that the President in Exile already paid for the Regeneron with OUR tax dollars at the beginning of the Planned-emic, weird how only insurance companies can buy it back.
Wouldn’t consider the AP a News source. They’re simply a Propaganda, and push the Narrative outlet, well paid, and very controlled. So it’s good DeSantis let them hold it, they need that more often from way more load voices. DeSantis just like Trump has his share of faults and bad choices. Yet they are way better than most, and for sure there is not 100% person available.
There really should be some very practical recourse against the current state of the media. The methods of dealing with them are all still evolving. But as time goes by, people are increasingly understanding the media is the enemy… even and including Fox news. And frankly, every “new” outlet that appears that burns us will find itself, in turn rendered irrelevant. So they won’t be able to just stand up new “reliable news” in order to lie and spin narratives through.
But we need litmus tests. The current test today is “election fraud.” If they won’t say it, that there’s evidence, then nope. They don’t pass.
