Comrades, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), also known as the U.S. Ministry of COVID compliance, has released new guidelines for outdoor expressions of liberty and freedom. [SEE GUIDELINES HERE] Within the guidelines vaccinated people are now permitted to engage in activity without masks. However, non-compliant citizens -those who refuse the non FDA approved emergency vaccination- are still required to wear masks. [LINK]
Thus, the CDC ministry is now establishing a new protocol to divide the American citizenry. Two classes of individuals: vaccinated -vs- non vaccinated.
Vaccinated people will be permitted greater freedom; and may -depending on checkpoints unregulated (so far) by government officials- engage in conduct according to rules created by multinational corporations. Compliant citizens will have access to venues, services and freedom based on the arbitrary rules of the state and business.
Non-Vaccinated, non-compliant citizens, are considered subversive to the interests of the state, and will -again as determined by private corporations and government officials- be barred from engagement in some activity. The freedom fulcrum is being moved right in front of our eyes and the majority of U.S. citizens are seemingly oblivious to it.
Comrade dissidents, this should not come as a surprise. Factually, CTH has been saying this is the intent of the leftist division in the United States for well over a decade. I even asked readers in May of 2011 which choice will they make because CTH anticipated THIS is exactly where we would be. While we did not know the mechanism, we did know the goal.
It is stunning how many Americans are blindly accepting these rules, limits and dictates without questioning the premise behind them. However, this blind obedience to the administrative state is exactly what the indoctrination schools have been preparing for decades.

If you are a regular reader of this site you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. Meaning you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence. However, for some reason, even those who understand big picture dynamics are still comfortable sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”.

It’s more along the lines of “I see what’s happening, but it’s scary and complicated and confusing, and if I admit that I see it, I will become responsible in a way that I am not if I keep pretending I can’t see it or hear it or maybe I don’t understand it.”
Why don’t we dare say what is so? Are we a bit afraid that if we give up the willful blindness we will perhaps start screaming and not be able to stop? Do we think we have so little courage? Do we really believe that we have no resources to bring to the battle? Or nothing more to contribute to the turning of the battle?
What is the source of this passive willingness that accepts illegal activity behind phrases like “they wouldn’t do that….” when they obviously are doing it?
Why do normal Americans get swept into accepting these somewhat silent transactions that result in their cooperation with those who care nothing for our Constitutional Republic? Better yet, why do the silent transactions happen? ….Perhaps because the alternative to passive willingness is active refusal–and there it is: the price tag for active refusal may actually be quite high–and will often be perceived of as just being too high–and besides that, is an unknown. There’s a deep deception involved with survival instinct that prevents a true comparison from being made between what’s being gained and what’s being lost as judgments are made (often by default) in the midst of confusing and threatening events.
Those whose hold on power depends on deception are always able to find an audience of those willing to be deceived. Now the audience of those willing to be deceived is a flexible group in terms of numbers and identities. Even those who have been in that audience for some time may one day walk away from it. What is it that makes folks stay in that audience? What price are they afraid of paying? What deception are they unwilling to let go of?
While we we use the word passive to describe this “willingness to continue in deception,” this is not an experience shaded in peaceful lavenders, mint greens and dappled sunlight. This is the deadly passivity of muscles that no longer fire; tiny electrical charges that no longer leap from one synapse to the next.
This is as passivity says: “I won’t begin resisting, because I know that once begun, I must continue. Rather than assert myself and perhaps fail (or get really scared), I will sustain myself where I am trapped. I will muffle my moans so as not to risk exposure and I will call it self-control. Winston Churchill would have called it cowardice but I will call it pragmatic caution.”
It’s desperately necessary for our survival that we become disillusioned–and quickly.

Think about that word: Dis-illusioned. Having illusions exposed and removing them from the decision-making process. It’s important, because illusions that are defended and protected and argued for, instead of being exposed, will always take us to default decisions that are inherently based on unreality.
Isaac Newton said that passivity in objects was predictable. Perhaps passivity in troubled humans is predictable as well. He said it this way with regard to objects:
An object that is at rest will stay at rest unless an unbalanced force acts upon it.
So–it appears that we need an unbalanced force to act upon these passively willing objects that are content to remain at rest.
In I Corinthians 14 the Apostle Paul asks a really sensible question in verse 8 “….if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?”
WE NEED TRUMPETS
We need lots of trumpets, with soaring sounds that pierce the sky. Trumpets that play “Reveille” to wake more people up. Trumpets that broadcast victories. Trumpets that play “Taps” (when needed) over losses. Trumpets that signal which way to run to the battle. Trumpets that provide cadence and courage.

Another question posed: what is this disconnect, this insanity of continuing to say “they wouldn’t, they couldn’t, they can’t” when they will, they can and they are—in real time–today?
Freedom-loving Germans who chose active resistance against the Third Reich saw the need for it as early as the mid-1930’s. Germany’s patriots (both in and out of uniform) had been actively resisting the darkness for years before her soldiers saw the forests of Poland in 1939.
One of those patriots was Dietrich Bonhoeffer, identified as Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy in the subtitle of a biography authored by Eric Metaxas. There were many roles filled by Bonhoeffer. Two of the key ones were being a nonconformist/government-resisting/stagnant-church-poking-in-the-ribs pastor on one hand and an active dissident and saboteur who worked with generals and citizens alike to resist the Nazi machine on the other.
As early as 1935, Bonhoeffer identified a dilemma that marked a cross-over of sorts for many of them. Here was the question it turned on: When did a form of passive resistance become exposed as not actually being resistance?
As a teaching pastor and theologian, he had other pastors looking to him for guidance with regard to how best to frame their “confession of the Gospel” in the presence of Nazism’s co-opting of the work of the churches (the willing churches were put “under the protection of the Third Reich” early on–isn’t that special….). He struggled with his own thoughts and the instinct that drove so many Germans–churched and nonchurched alike–the instinct to take a position without taking action.
Eberhard Bethge, German Protestant theologian and close friend of Bonhoeffer’s wrote this summary of Bonhoeffer’s thoughts:
Bonhoeffer introduced us in 1935 to the problem of what we today call political resistance. The levels of confession and of resistance could longer be kept neatly apart. The escalating persecution of the Jews generated an increasingly intolerable situation, especially for Bonhoeffer himself. We now realized that mere confession, no matter how courageous, inescapably meant complicity with the murderers, even though there would always be new acts of refusing to be co-opted and even though we would preach “Christ alone” Sunday after Sunday. During the whole time the Nazi state never considered it necessary to prohibit such preaching. Why should it?
Thus we were approaching the borderline between confession and resistance; and if we did not cross this border, our confession was going to be no better than cooperation with the criminals. And so it became clear where the problem lay for the Confessing Church: we were resisting by way of confession, but we were not confessing by way of resistance.
Speaking now only of our relationship to the State….are we suffering under the illusion that we can indefinitely resist by way of confession (i.e., “standing for” conservative ideals and Constitutional truths) without being troubled by the need for confessing by way of resisting–to borrow Bonhoeffer’s phrase? If we are, is it time to become dis-illusioned?
Our context is not the same as Bonhoeffer, but I think the question is similar. It’s not inherently a faith issue, although he experienced it in that context.

For those who might argue that there more of us, or at least as many of us, who believe in individual liberty and free market capitalism than there are opponents to same, I would suggest that you should not confuse a simple head count with total political atomic mass. The positions within society that our opponents hold and the institutions and machinery they control gives them leverage beyond simple membership numbers.
As to our being cast in the role of dissidents, we have no choice. How we conduct ourselves in that role will be the difference between having a chance over the long term to ultimately prevail or having to spend a century or more under the totalitarian’s thumb. We need to understand the role we are in, the most effective course of action we can take, and above all, we must understand and accept our limitations. A failure to understand and accept the latter will only deepen and prolong our subjugation. (read more)

Regardless, I think it goes without saying, the first thing you have to ask yourself, “do you trust these people promoting this vaccination”? Of the reports of 168 cases, cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST or blood clots in the brain) was reported in 77 cases, and 91 cases had other major thromboembolic events with concurrent thrombocytopenia.

My tenant had a horrible reaction to the shot, it almost killed him, and he’s not out of the woods yet.
He is early 60s and has several bad health issues which is why the docs told him to get the jab.
Since then, in the last few weeks, his heart, kidneys and liver have all gone bad, PLUS he got Covid anyway!

My company has been trying to post travel and safety guidelines for months, but they just can’t keep up with all the changing guidelines. CDC keeps flip-flopping, the states all have conflicting rules.. They make no sense and keep changing from one day to the next.
Meanwhile, other states are wide open and everybody there is just dandy.

I don’t really care what the CDC recommends. I haven’t worn a mask anywhere except in a store (to not cause the business problems) since the beginning. I live in the People’s Republic of California. I was bicycling the other day (without a mask) and rode by the middle school. I was so pleased to see the kids outside running around with their masks around their necks. I only saw one boy wearing his mask. It was wonderful. The kids are smarter than the millennials.
The CDC knows the public is resisting taking the JAB. So it is necessary to relax the restrictions for those who are jabbed so the hesitating unjabbed will be lured and start complying. We are still in the Carrot phase. Wait until they deploy various onerous sticks. This 84 year old will nevertheless remain firmly into the control group. No matter what.
There’s a Christian elementary school in my town. I was sitting in a restaurant enjoying my lunch…this was maybe 50 yards from the school. It was lunchtime; and the children were all plying outdoors on the playground. It did my heart good to see that these kids were outdoors in fresh air and sunshine, playing TOGETHER like normal kids…with NO masks on.
I did the research. That’s what I do for a living. It pointed out that the chances of dying from the shots was (point in front) .000018 percent. After I did the number of vaccinations are much higher and the percentage is down to .000015 percent.

I took the jab because I still do not have any reason to distrust Trump. He made history by pushing the development, he took it, so I decided to support that. They try to convince themselves that the “vaccine” propaganda and the covid propaganda are not propaganda, that’s just crazy conspiracy theory talk, so they can feel better about the bind they are in.
The employers keep pushing mask and “vaccine” BS because the CDC keeps pushing it, and employers don’t want to be sued for failing to follow CDC “Guidance” by someone who claims they contracted covid because of that deviation from “guidelines”. The first “covid relief” bill in December 2020 included provisions shielding against such lawsuits, this would have cleared the way to lift the mask etc. rules, but the democrats forced those provisions to be removed. That’s a major red flag.
It does appear that the covid ruse is being pivoted now, to add to the tools the government plans to use for overall control, converging with the “domestic violent extremism threat”: If government asserts that compliance with the covid rules is a public health imperative, then those who dissent may be branded an “extremist threat”. Expressing dissent may be become tantamount to threatening the republic. Then? All bets are off. It is an understatement to say that this is a grave convergence that may be underway right now.
The institution in the vanguard of all this is the DoD. They can claim the utmost imperative to cull out “extremists” with no holds, and they are already starting on this. Right now it is “violent extremist threats” which could include dissenters who the DoD might claim could possibly incite violence simply by expressing dissent, but the covid mechanism may get added to this, as the DoD asserts that noncompliance and dissent from covid rules poses a threat to the DoD mission. How many millions work for DoD and contractors?
Every day I wake up and as soon as I remember what is happening, I feel like this is a nightmare that won’t stop. Please pray. And if you are in a position to act – act! Just remember that many are not in that position.
But keep in mind that the surveillance apparatus is way beyond what you realize. If you work for DoD and see signs that your dissent is somehow known to them, despite keeping that in “personal channels”, you will understand. Based on my personal observations, the truth is pretty much the opposite of what the CDC proposes. People who have always gone mask-less and have kept up their immune systems by taking Vitamins D, C, Zinc, etc., and have kept close contact with friends, neighbors, and family, have done just fine. They either haven’t caught covid-19 or had a mild insignificant case.
People who stayed locked away much of the time and wore masks, got the virus. Go figure. Maybe their fear and anxiety lowered their immune systems. Or the dirty masks.
My daughter and 2 roommates locked down in Chicago wore the masks, worked from home etc. for over a year. All got the covid, no worse than a moderate cold over in 3 to 4 days. This week they took the vax. They really followed the ‘guidelines’ and they got the covid.
Why did they get vaxxed if they already had covid? Makes no sense – especially at their age.
This is the same for my sister and brother-in-law…..they were super “vigilant” to the point of idiocy (in my opinion) example: my sister wouldn’t go IN the grocery store, only order online, drive to the store, pop the trunk and have groceries loaded–NO contact—drive home and ONLY take out refrigerated and frozen items–leave the rest sit in the dark trunk for at least 5 days to “decontaminate” –yet they both got it in Nov (2 weeks after getting their flu shots but NO connection to THAT, I’m told /s)…..they’ve had anti-body tests (both have anti-bodies), yet they got the vaccine shot 3 days ago!!! WTH? I can’t even process their idiocy …..

I had covid in March 2020 but I (Retired bio chemist) researched the Vitamin D, Zinc, Ivermectin and ionophores like Hydroxychloraquin and Quercetin (found in fresh fruits). I spoke to many local groups about these potential preventive measures back in May 2020. Most of these people did not get the virus and those that did get it had mild cases.
We KNOW that the Hydro/Zinc treatment works, because the reports of that success were shut down FAST!
HCQ, ivermectin work according to the doc. Not a slam dunk, have their own side effects, some not trivial, but they do have effectiveness, and he will prescribe on a case by case basis if needed. He got the shot, prefers that treatment over the others.
Net, the meds work to a TBD degree, unlike how they were characterized a year ago.

Hey pretty good idea. I’ve mentioned before here that I’m a peace officer and have been for a long time. Every time we deal with someone with a dog it’s a mess. If we stop a motorist with a dog in the car and we have to arrest the motorist it’s a mess. It ties officers up. We have to figure out what to do with the dog. We can’t just leave it in the car for the tow truck driver to take care of the dog. Up the ante if the dog is territorial or appears vicious.
If we go to a home for any reason we are always grateful to the homeowner if they put the dog away somewhere before we try to solve any problem that we need to deal with. Good luck to the police if the homeowner decides not to put the dog away in another room. Sucks to be us.

Your idea has a lot of merit. What would happen in a protest with a group of people when all the protestors brought their dog along? I think hilarity would ensue. Can you imagine a large protest, thousands of people, many of them with dogs. A side not about mean dogs. Years ago I had to go to this SOB’s house for some kind of problem. It was a domestic or something I don’t really remember. Anyways it was nothing out of the ordinary. So during this call things developed, he had some drugs in plain view. Now normally we would just take the drugs and get a court order for destruction or charge him with possession, it was a small amount that he had.
Well this guy was a real SOB. This guy and his brother ended up killing an innocent man prior to this incident I was currently on. The two of them(by way of legal hocus locus) ended up pleading on a Monday morning to a misdemeanor simple assault charge and they both agreed to a six month jail term. The guy they killed was in his domicile asleep and these two geniuses went out into the street and fired off an SKS rifle killing this victim in his sleep.
Well anyways I got a search warrant for this guys home based on the small amount of drugs he had in the basement. I also got a warrant for the junk car that was sunk into the back yard just as an afterthought. There was a big mean vicious Pitt bull chained up to the junk car.
The Dog Warden came over and removed the pit bull from the junk car and low and behold this junk car was where all this SOB’s drugs were hidden. So he did end up going to prison for that.

This morning my wife saw her retinologist, and while the clinic has long done the drill of calling in from the parking lot and masking inside, today there was a twist. When she met with the doc, he asked her if she’d been “vaccinated” and when she replied that she hadn’t, he told her she had to keep the mask on. He was willing to discriminate against non-jabbers and it had nothing to do with the CDC guidelines. It also has nothing to do with “the science”.
This got me thinking: I’d not heard a peep from Governor Cooper about changes to the state’s, er, his, COVID edicts since last October so I visited the official site to see what was up. Among other absurdities was this bit on how “progress” is to be measured:
“COVID-19-Like Syndromic Cases – Sustained leveling or decreased trajectory in COVID-like illness surveillance over 14 days”
COVID “Like” cases? What the hack is that? A cold? The flu? Anyone who has a cough?
Now the governor must be getting advice from state medical people in the crafting of this nonsense designed to never allow the lifting of this tyranny, so again, it is not just the CDC that is responsible for this cr@p.
Local medical pros and politicians can buck the CDC any time the care to. They just don’t care to. I expect such evil and idiocy from politicians, and Democrats in particular, but I never expected it from so many in medicine. Regardless of the CDC’s evil lunacy, the medical community in general has a lot to answer for.
One more note: I am seeing a few more people without masks but nowhere near as many as there should be at this point in this conservative county. This somewhat encouraging development is tempered by my suspicion, garnered from a few conversations, that many may be removing the diaper only because they’ve been fooled into accepting the jab and then accepting the fallacy that they are now immune.

I don’t begrudge anyone his feelings and concerns. They believe that translates to mandatory vaccine schedules for everyone, just to reduce the exposure odds for those who cannot vaccinate (so they claim).
The end result of that 100% vaccinated scenario is that the risk to the protected class will forever be non-zero, whereas the risks related to vaccination are simply not known. It is, for those who attempt to perfectly balance risk, an intractable problem because vaccine risk is incalculable at present.
Effectiveness requires knowing the positive attributes of the vaccine. For the millions of doses issued, nowhere near any amount of data is being captured as to who among them already has antibodies. It just seems….misguided, wrong in a sense. How to claim victory for the vaccine when there is no baseline to beat?
And no REAL disease to vaccinate against…

I am the outcast. I am the only one not wearing my mask in the stores I go to, neither does my son. He’s only 5 so I’m setting a proper example for him. I have a chip on my shoulder but nobody has dared to knock it off. Some say it’s my stature…or maybe my pissed off at all the lemmings look on my face. I will back up anyone at any time seeking to defend their liberty. I will go down swinging on every last communist who steps in my way.

I know how you feel because I go maskless 99% of the time in the 2 grocery stores we shop at. 3 times I have been confronted by customers who were downright hostile. 3 other times a store employee has approached me because customers complained to them about “that man who is not wearing a mask”. In those instances, the employees were very polite after I showed them my exemption as stated in Virginia Executive Order #63, so I carry that hardcopy printout with me most of the time.
In smaller establishments or the few times my wife and I dine out, we wear masks. I don’t wear a mask at Home Depot or Lowe’s and have not been bothered by anyone.

Not wearing a mask is easy; start there. Where I live in the Free State of Florida we still have national chains that require masks for entry… sort of. If they refuse entry? Don’t go in.

Proscription, Latin proscriptio, plural proscriptiones, in ancient Rome, a posted notice listing Roman citizens who had been declared outlaws and whose goods were confiscated. Rewards were offered to anyone killing or betraying the proscribed, and severe penalties were inflicted on anyone harboring them. Their properties were confiscated, and their sons and grandsons were forever barred from public office and from the Senate.
Everyone follow the rules, get in the event, then at a signal like a “trumpet”, everyone remove the masks. What they gonna do then?
Same thing for grocery stores, big box home stores, liquor, everywhere, get in the door and remove the mask. They don’t have the time or employees to police half of the customers. If they approach you just say fine, ok, put the mask on and as soon as they walk away, take it back off. Even if a store is fully aware of this tactic, they still can’t control us.

Something struck me in the middle of the night regarding the two-tiered society chart shown above. Some employee of the CDC, paid for by our tax dollars, arrived at work one day to find the assignment to create this freedom-killing graphic on his to-do list and he dutifully, and perhaps mindlessly, complied. There were probably several meetings – using Chinese-monitored Zoom perhaps – that discussed, in serious tones, the wording, the colors used, the fact that the unmasked face had no nose. And then they all patted themselves on the back for a job well done as they released it to save the world … and simultaneously destroy it. It was all so run of the mill. No big deal. Just another day at the office.
Then I thought of another such day at the office, a long time ago. It’s perhaps a bit over the edge but I’m going to go there. I remember it from a visit to the Holocaust Museum is Skokie, Illinois (if you get a chance, see it). The graphic in this instance was a diagram showing how to construct a system for efficiently “dispatching” undesirables. It was a simple, small, dimensioned drawing of a trench with a berm on one side on which an undesirable sat. At an established distance across from that person stood a rifleman and a dotted line indicated the arc of the fatal shot that would efficiently catapult the deplorable into the waiting mass grave. No need for laborers to move the bodies and the berm would be used to make the work disappear.
Now realize that someone, a person’s neighbor, a mother’s son, went into work one day to find that design task in his inbox and he dutifully performed his job. It was all so run of the mill. No big deal. Just another day at the office.
