The power of government comes from the people; or as we say in the U.S. “from the consent of the governed.” When people lead, the politicians are forced to follow. Without implied consent the municipal or state government has no power. None.
Unfortunately the totalitarian authority might label this mom a subversive dissident voice; consider her defiance a reason for targeting and re-education; and then engage child protective services in the removal of her children. It would not surprise me to see DHS show up at her door with an armed FBI SWAT team to deliver a no-knock warrant for her arrest. She is right. She is petitioning her government and eloquently expressing her grievances; but so far the bureaucracy doesn’t care…. This is why all people need to stand up and support the individuals pushing back.

This is why some state governors are quickly starting to retract or modify their dictates.

I spoke at my child’s school board meeting (private school) and asked them to remove the mask requirement. They said no, so I enrolled him in another private school that doesn’t require masks for next year. He attended the school for 10 years and it was sad to make the change, but it had to be done.

I am so embarrassed at how weak my state has become. Our governor is a joke. Remember his pickup truck commercial? That truck is gone. Our Secretary of State might as well be Stacey Abrams. Our legislators only care about taking care of their big corporate donors. Businesses across the state, even in rural, very conservative areas, have fired their entire American workforces and replaced them with illegals. Law enforcement looks the other way as illegals commit crimes, and drive drunk and uninsured, raising our premiums, but are quick to target white working folk. What the hell happened to Georgia?!

Most Americans are weak now, physically and mentally, formed by government schools and prevailing sedentary lifestyle. The proportion of Americans with comorbidities, and the proportion over 65, together add up to over half the population, they are fearful of covid now, their fear was stoked by the covid fearmongers.
(This fear is why the schools force children to wear masks, when children have virtually zero risk from covid: The school faculty and administration is fearful of catching covid from the children.)
In general:
Government K-12 schools condition most Americans to unquestioning obedience to authority, this is reinforced by fear of job loss exacerbated by debt bondage replacing assets along with the decimation of the family safety net.
Most have marginal reading and thinking skills, so they let “the experts” tell them what to do.
Look around, next time you are in public. These are your fellow Americans now. The plandemic was an exquisite design to exploit them, and it’s working.

I’m 68 and my husband will soon be 71. We are both born again Christians, (which by itself sets one free from much deceit). By God’s grace, I learned to think for myself by comparing what was taught from the pulpit, or Christian books, with the only truth, the Bible. If you don’t think that was hard, well…standing up for the truth amidst complacent compromisers makes your back a favored target. We finally learned our lesson and spend our Sunday reading God’s Word, praying, and singing hymns at home.
My perspective, based upon Scripture, is that we are each individually responsible to discern between truth & error, in every aspect of life, and stand up for the truth, regardless of what handicaps we have to overcome. Thanks for the article as it explains how the immune system is supposed to work. My family is convinced that my husband and I are merely stubborn old geezers in not participating in this massive vaccination event. I tell them that our decision is informed and that there are other sources of news besides PBS and the New York Times.
Sadly over 90% of people in stores here in RED Union County NC wear face mask. I have been denied service in one establishment, a French bakery in communist Mecklenburg County (Charlotte), figures. That was my first and last time in that store. Thankfully the Union County sheriff said very early that he will not enforce the mask mandate but small businesses are scared of being closed by government and big business has the protection of Wall Street (stocks).
On local news when they’re not doing a feature story about a person of color they still manages to inject Covid into nearly every story keeping people brainwashed and scared.
Close to the same where a I am in conservative Henderson County, NC, where 99% still mask in stores, including the young, despite our sheriff saying he won’t prosecute and all major stores not enforcing. It’s depressong to see cinservative sheep, especially the young.
My kids are grown and I mived here in retirement so I don’t know much about the school situation, but if recent conversations with the few unmasked afe any indication, its not encouraging.
I’d always wanted to retire here after working in Charlotte in the late 80s and having lived in many states. I sure hope I haven’t made a mistake.

I’ve homeschooled my kids for many years now, and we are fortunate to belong to a homeschool co-op that never required them to wear masks.
However, I had to pull them out of youth symphony and team sports because both organizations were unbending in their mask requirements, even with doctor’s mask exemption notes. We have not been allowed to return to church because our church leaders do not honor our mask exemptions either. It has been very discouraging.
Fortunately, we did find a sports organization that allowed all of the athletes to participate without masks. They had to fly under the radar, and it was a miracle that we even found out about it.
Anyway, I guess what I’m trying to say is that because I have refused to bend, though I have been ostracized by some, I have found alternatives that have blessed our family, and I only wish more parents had taken a stand with me.

Our health and our liberties are under attack by fascists. Some brave parents in our Chicago suburb ran for school boards this month because 78% of parents wanted schools reopened (with masks). They lost to the unionista candidates. Why? Because the public consists of more government workers, teachers, and retirees of both. They vote their pocketbooks. Many conservative retirees are in Florida/Arizona during the winter and don’t bother to apply for an absentee ballot. The differences between winners and losers were 200-300 votes out of about 3300 total cast per candidate. So much for taking back our local offices.
