Barrett, I understand, recused herself (!) from one of the latest skirmishes (NC?) because – I’m paraphrasing – she didn’t have enough time to consider the arguments, laws, etc. How much time does it take to learn what the election law is regarding timing, signatures, etc., ask who’s trying to change it at the last minute (not the legislature), and call “bogus” on the culprits? Fangdog, there are millions of Americans who get their news exclusively from the MSM, and take it as gospel. As to the education system, I agree — with one added point. Before the education system gets hold of any student, there are several “formative” years that kids spend with parents. And if parents are themselves already brainwashed (again, by MSM) and/or not vigilant about what their kids are being “taught”, the indoctrination at school is so much easier. Add to that the overwhelming influence of social media and peer pressure; it’s an uphill battle.
