Sorry, animals aren’t loyal, kind, loving and grateful for everything, except maybe the higher apes who have the cognition to dimly understand such concepts. Animals are strictly self-interested and respond to stimuli such as food, water, exercise, etc. They may appear to be grateful, but that’s anthropomorphism. Projection of our feelings and beliefs onto them. Dogs’ tails wag because they’re excited, not because they’re happy to see you. Go to an animal control pound where they are holding killer dogs (and I mean real killers!) and watch their tails. They aren’t happy to see you. They’re excited because they think they have a chance to put you into the hospital or morgue.
If the stimuli occur in a regular or intermittent pattern, animals will acquire learned responses to said stimuli, often in complex ways. But most animals simply don’t have the mental ability to comprehend higher emotions or morality. Lock a dog in a room with a piece of meat on the floor after an order not to eat it, and see how long that morsel stays unconsumed (unless said dog is highly highly highly trained). Most cats won’t even hesitate unless they’re stuffed with food.

Some of what you say may be accurate, but there’s a whole lot missing. I’ve seen many, many instances of animals showing real emotion that’s NOT self-centered. You might not care, but here’s one:
Years ago we had a cat (pixie bob) and an overweight rat. They grew up together, and liked to play… literally, chasing each other around. But the rat liked to eat, a LOT. We tried to cut down, but if we tried to put him on a diet he was absolutely miserable. We knew that letting him eat too much would shorten his life, but seeing as how the average was only 3 years anyway, we figured better to let him be happy while he’s here than feel like he was being tortured.
So we thought we could at least try to make him exercise more. We got him a big clear ball made specifically for that, and tried. No luck. He wouldn’t walk himself so the ball would roll, so we’d try rolling it real slow and he STILL wouldn’t walk. He’d just let himself flip over and look at us like we were crazy. 🙂 So out of the blue, our cat decided HE would give it a shot, and starting shoving the ball around, trying to get the rat to walk. Still, nope.
So fast forward several months. Our rat had gotten even fatter, and though he and the cat would still play together, it was now pretty slow chases. One day we noticed he was walking really slow, having trouble controlling the leg and arm on one side. (No, rats do NOT have 4 legs, they have 2 legs and 2 arms.) We assumed he’d had a stroke. He got progressively worse over the next day or so, till he finally would just lay there. He didn’t seem to be in pain, but really could barely move, and would try to eat but not much.
All this time, from when he first started showing weakness, the cat would check on him every few minutes, kinda nudge him, meow, and then walk away. This went on till by the time the rat couldn’t walk at all, the cat laid down next to him. He’d lay there, occasionally licking him, and continued to stay with him — purring half the time — till the rat died. Then (with my wife and I crying) she picked him up and told our cat, “He’s gone, but he’s happy now.” The cat started meowing, but it was much more like a cry.
So… tell me what THAT was all about. Huh?

And some (even amongst different breeds of the same species) have more highly developed senses than others.

I agree there are exceptional examples of animal caring. The only problem I see recently with many stories we see is for some reason to many are attributing feelings to pets that they are not really exhibiting. Individual animals are as different as people are different and nature does have more influence on animals than many want to admit even with domesticated pets. Wild animals I think for the most part are mostly controlled by nature if they weren’t their survival would be compromised. but there too there are many examples of feelings we normally attribute to humans.
The either or situation is unrealistic. Intelligence in animals is not equal and it seems the more intelligent and domesticated are the ones with more human traits as far as feelings go. .
As always, God will use this to glorify Himself and to better PDJT and FLOTUS and your wonderful country.

Yup, except for the aspirin which is a blood thinner (much of the damage done by COVID-19 is done by its clotting effects) that’s exactly it. However, I sure hope he’s been taking that BEFORE his diagnosis instead of only after because vitamin D, THE most important part of that regimen is fat soluble and needs to build up in body fat before enough of it remains in the blood stream.
BTW, something that I caught five months ago on a search for a cause behind the nursing home deaths after learning the vitamin D deficiency connection to serious COVID-19 outcomes was a 2008 study that showed that US nursing home residents were SERIOUSLY deficient in vitamin D!

I just noticed that the EVMS protocol I linked to indicates the addition of aspirin to the prophylaxis regimen after becoming symptomatic, more confirmation that Trump’s physician has him on that protocol.
