So, answer me this. A biological man identifies as a woman has committed a crime and chooses a woman to do the pat down. The “man” criminal seems to be enjoying the crotch search but the “woman” police officer unknowingly thinks that big hard thing in da pants is a weapon.
Where do we go with this?
What if an officer is a transwoman, is it considered “invasive” for “her” to search/pat down women? If a (white) woman refuses to be searched by a transwoman (identified as such by verbal and visual cues) would that be considered transphobic?

Everyone ought to be treated with some amount of care by the police.
Say you came upon a person, dressed as the queen of England, standing in the middle of traffic ranting about the sad state of affairs in her former colony. Would you insist on correcting them, or ask her majesty if they could on the sidewalk. Once on the sidewalk, would you insist on correcting them, or ask her majesty, are you under the care of anyone we can call to bring you back to your palace. Would you insist on correcting them, or ask if they could drive her majesty to a place where they could keep her safe, since the Queen of England shouldn’t be stomping around without their security.
I would expect they would do their best, without smirking or making stupid remarks in the persons presence, to bring that person to a place where they can be cared for.
Regarding the whole, transgenderism movement, I’ve met some, and the reasoning behind their choices seem flimsy to me. For instance, one girl thinking they have to be a “man” to be masculine. We used to call them tom-boys back in the day when they were young, a “manly woman” beyond that, with some slurs/colorful language if they were lesbians. They didn’t have societal pressure to conform to some notion that only men are masculine and women feminine.
Now, if someone goes through therapy, and their mind can’t be changed to conform to physical reality, go for it, just don’t expect people to buy into it. I’ll do my best to be polite but don’t ask me to conform my understanding of reality to yours.
