I have been a Republican in Arizona here for almost 50 years and I have many Republican friends. All are thanking God for the audit and pay no attention to local media. Do we even have a local media? (Do love JT Harris, the Conservative Circus on AM radio KFYI. )
At this point this issue goes beyond the presidential election if you can believe that. We are shocked and horrified to find the level of corruption in our sleepy town and we want to see prison sentences. We have been disenfranchised and it has been done with our taxpayer money.

This slow, deliberate approach is better because it keeps the issue in the forefront, and allows the Board to show how desperate they are.

I believe that in California votes have been changed for 20 years.
I believe the same thing has happened in Washington State since the 2004 election, which Dino Rossi, a moderate Republican won…but which was eventually decided for the Democrat, Christine Gregoire, by 139 votes, after THREE recounts! That was our last in-person election and the entire state has gone HARD left ever since “vote by mail” ONLY was instituted in 2008. What a surprise – NOT!!

This is the real fear they have. The reason states go blue and basically never return to red, a trend since 2004(ish), is that the electronic votes are rigged.

AZ Senate should just remove them all from office. Use the US Constitutional power to determine “time, place, and manner”…state that the BoS intransigence is prima facie evidence of corruption, replace the BoS with Senate-selected members, and continue the Audit. DVS is likely under contract with Maricopa County, and would easily lose any attempt to refuse to turn over everything they have.

If the Board is refusing to comply with a valid subpoena, I would argue they are acting outside of the scope of their duties, and should be sued in their professional and individual capacity.

I don’t think the Sheriff is the appropriate agency anyhow. I think it is the State of Arizona Department of Public Safety or DPS. They would arrest a County Judge. The prosecution would have to be done by the State Attorney General (or the feds but that’s obviously not going to happen here).
I wouldn’t be disheartened at all about this. So far the Board of Supervisors has demonstrated that at every turn they will do exactly the wrong thing. They are panicked and getting bad , undoubtedly partisan legal advice from attorneys who may have their own skin in the game. This whole thing could blow up bigly.
Maybe dox them and hold a few rallies at their homes.

The meeting was closed because it was a consult with lawyers. Meetings to discuss business are open.
For what’s worth, I find AAs Serenity Prayer helpful when I’m tempted to become upset about things outside of my control. Fret less. Pray more. Act to support those who do have stewardship of events. Send messages of support. Watch and share pressers, updatevideos and hearing so you contribute to the viewer count. Those are data points used to judge public interest.

When will the Arizona Senate get serious? It seems they started to get serious back in November. They held public hearings and listened to sworn testimony around election concerns. Very eye opening and educational. They then initiated the FIRST complete forensic audit of an election in Americas history! In order to do so they had to fight and win court battles.
I am applauding these fighters, sending them encouraging messages and praying for them. Perhaps you will too?
