Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was the first U.S. governor to announce he would oppose and block any attempt to make vaccination passports a requirement for any engagement with state government or private enterprise. DeSantis then signed an executive order temporarily and proactively blocking any effort to require proof of vaccination.
Today, the Florida House of Representatives passed a bill (SB 2006) to ban the use of COVID vaccination passports. This bill will now reconcile with a Florida Senate bill that carried the same intent.
Good job Florida!
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – With a key lawmaker saying he recognizes that vaccine hesitancy is “real and understandable,” the Florida House on Wednesday approved a measure that would limit local emergency orders and make permanent Gov. Ron DeSantis’ executive order barring COVID-19 vaccine “passports.”
The House voted 76-40 to approve the proposal (SB 2006), which Pandemics & Public Emergencies Committee Chairman Tom Leek, R-Ormond Beach, said would prepare Florida for the next public-health emergency while striking a “delicate balance between protecting people and protecting people’s civil liberties.
[…] The Senate passed the bill last week, but the measure needs to return to the Senate because of changes made by the House.
DeSantis on April 2 issued the executive order blocking COVID-19 passports, which he said would create “huge” privacy issues that could result in people handing over medical information to a “big corporation.”
“It’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society,” DeSantis said before signing the order. “If you want to go to the movie theater, should you have to show that? No. If you want to go to a game, no. If you want to go to a theme park, no. … I think it’s something that people have certain freedoms and individual liberties to make decisions for themselves.” (read more)
Thank you Ron.

Why are medical services exempted? Also psychs, medical transport services, a few others.
Shortages? Can’t run medical services if highly trained staff quit
Our Democratic Republic is doing quite well when individual States become more active and preempt expected Federal Policy.
We need more active States and less active Federal Government.
Finally, a state legislature that is willing to take action to protect the liberty of its citizens!
Bravo to Governor DeSantis! More Governors in Free States should do the same. Requiring vaccine passports is a violation of HIPPA rights, but it is also a violation of the Nuremberg Code to require people to take an experimental drug. This “passport” which tyrants want to require “to go to a baseball game” or to travel is already morphing into a requirement to attend school (even though science says children are not very much at risk re the virus. and there are concerns about the risks vaccines could pose to children re future fertility, etc) What next? Will it be required to carry out all necessary activities of life when the tyrants feel they have precedent and a green light to keep grabbing more power and intimidating those who oppose them? It won’t end with the current vaccines available. They will want your “passport” updated with “booster shots” for this variant or that variant, or whatever drugs Fauci, Gates, & their Big Pharma cronies want to market that year, “to keep us all safe.” They could use it as a tool to segregate society just like the Nazis did with those wearing a Yellow Star, and those not wearing a Yellow Star… We know how that worked out for those wearing a Yellow Star in Nazi Germany. We must NOT allow this process to take root in America.
Florida also needs to block airlines from requiring them, as well as masks. That will break the hold the leftist management has on mandating airline passenger behavior.
The only way we the patriotic America people will get our say back in government is if the States get together and find ways to negate the Federal overreach. There is zero chance for any hope from the District of Corruption. The deep state, shadow government, uniparty, alphabet agencies, Supreme Court all under one control.
The Virginia AG just decreed it legal for colleges to require/force vaccinate students for covid. Looks like our family will need to find legal representation to challenge this. Anyone have any thoughts/recommendations?
Boycott the colleges.
What is the policy of Liberty University?
Seems like a lot of Liberty students have been snookered into this “jab”. This article has a young student gushing about how relieved she is that she can’t pass Covid on to grandparents after two shots of the product:

Then today’s news has another prominent person who was fully vaccinated and still caught Covid (Arizona lawmaker)

Every day there are more reasons to move to Florida.
I live in Florida and its out of control growth. If I wasn’t in my seventies I would be looking somewhere else. I live close to coastal area.
Meanwhile, the Southeastern Conference (SEC) is positing that their member schools’ events can return to normal attendance…for vaccinated people only. Not sure how that’ll play out for UF.
South Carolina needs to do the same!
