Given that, he certainly has a remarkable number of “I don’t recall” answers.

It’s amazing that not only is “I don’t recall” an acceptable answer, it’s the preferred answer to the investigators.

I believe it has been reported that he is going to Florida. Besides, Scotland is on lockdown and the head of their government said that he was not welcome.

CONSPIRACY factoids: Stu Evans testimony shows that the S/P text messages surrounding a judge they will see on the FISC for a BBQ was conspiratorial. He guides Congress through the understanding that the FISC process, prior to signing, has back and forth with read only copies sent to judge. Evans confirms that the questions from signer or judge do get back to FBI for bolstering of cases. Generally Stu’s direct reports have ironed those out before signing and read copy to FISC but often times they do get questions from judge and there is opportunity to fix before DAG or other resp party signs.

I was going to start with Bruce Ohr’s first but decided against it. It probably reads something like this-
Q. Mr. Ohr did you tell anyone else, other than the people you just mentioned about Christopher Steele?
A. Well I did tell Nelly see Nelly is my wife. I lowered the Cone of Silence and dialed her up on my shoe phone. I said Nelly I am doing some spy work. I met this guy he’s British and he’s from Britain. His name is Chris Steele he’s a British spy.
He gave me a bunch of spy papers they were all in this big brown envelope with the strings on it so you can tie it closed and it all looked real official and then I took em all over to Pete. Then I told Nelly on my shoe phone that I handed the spy papers over to Pete. Pete said I did real good.

I read very little of one of these “interviews.” The investigator was spoon feeding the “correct” answers to the witness.
Notes upon reading the Dana Boente transcript:
1. These DOJ and FBI could tell you what Carter Page had for breakfast in 2016, but could not remember who they talked to in 2017.
2. Boente suggests that no one paid any special attention to Crossfire Hurricane and that they only met every two weeks–if that–to discuss it, yet it dominated the private communications of those who took part in the investigation.
3. When there were discussions, no one can remember what was discussed.
4. On the bottom of page 42, there is this exchange:
So what was, as you understood it, NSD’s role in Crossfire Hurricane?
A. Well, they had at least one attorney assigned to it. And, you know, it wasn’t terribly robust, the investigation.
That investigation involved the President of the United States! Dozens of some of the highest ranking people were involved in it! It consumed the media for years!
How does Boente get away with it???
Normally I roll my eyes at anyone recommending books, so please excuse me. Just finished “Witness” by Whittaker Chambers. Next to Solzhentitsyn’s Gulag Archipeligo, Witness is the best anti-Communist book of the 20th Century. All the players are there, Deep State, Communist, the Elites vs. the Common Citizens, the FBI, State Department. The FBI sat on Chambers Communist Spy list he provided, and did nothing for 8 years.
