House intelligence committee ranking member Devin Nunes discusses the danger of Big Tech controlling the public speech platforms. “Big tech and corporate media played an outsized role in the 2020 election, says California Congressman and House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes. And based on how the Biden team is responding to evidence of election irregularities and potential fraud, former Vice President Biden does not seem confident in victory, Nunes says.
To actually get their ideas out to Americans, Nunes says conservatives should move to social media alternatives such as Parler and Rumble, ones that prioritize free speech and open discourse.”
There is only one of 535 in Congress I trust. This true one.
Someone put $5,000,000 bounties on Bezos, Zuckerberg, Apple execs, Google execs and that Soy Boy at Twitter – Jack Dorsey. Sorry all MSM execs as well. Did I leave anyone out?
FYI…

one thing that devin nunes and many here need to realize is that this revolt against the social (disease) media, the covid lockdowns, the mockingbird state media, and the democratic party is bigger than conservatives and even republicans and right-leaning independents. the necessity of reform and the regaining of some rule of law is so pressing that a number of left-leaning investigative journalists such as glenn greenwald, matt taibbi, aaron mate, jimmy dore, caitlin johnstone and millions of other voters and interested people, some supporting trump, some not, want to destroy the corrupt deep state and the badly broken and unfair media and democratic party.
the appeal needs to be broadened. it is clear from the reactions of real investigative journalists that the sickness and evil so well exposed by sundance repels many more others than just committed conservative republicans. this is a real vote and money getter if properly employed.
Devin states “Big tech and corporate media played an outsized role in the 2020 election.” “Outsized role?” They RAN the 2020 election committing blatant, in-your-face fraud. Excuse me Devin but maybe you haven’t noticed that no one cares what conservatives say or think. We showed up by the hundreds of thousands in D.C. and not one republican congress member showed up to support us or even mentioned it that I know of. And we’re supposed to get excited about going on other sites to comment? Why? Who is is going to do something about it? There is only one thing these people understand and we all know what that is.
Ah, yes. So there IS a concentrated Insane Left attack against Sidney Powell, just as I wrote in response to Tucker Carlson’s idiotic verbal attack on her…what, two days ago now?
I remember when Obama was pushed for Presidential candidate over Hillary, by the Democrat leadership, back in 2008 (I had ended up voting for them for the previous 8 presidential elections, and was going to vote for Hillary then…before the great enlightenment…did I mention that?), and saw the fix was in for an Insane Left then, even before Obama’s election and first ridiculous, Islamic year in office…well, it was pretty clear the ideology was so antithetical to traditional America, Obama’s hilarious and tyrannical agenda was almost certain to lead to real war. And so it has…
This is a PARTICULARLY fine serious recommendation from Nunes, to bring the rain against Big Tech (a.k.a. the holders of the megaphones in public discourse), including Tucker Carlson and all the “boys” at Fox.
I had a Thanksgiving dinner at my youngest sister’s place yesterday (she’s 60; I’m 72). She is engaged to a guy…who tried to start a conversation about Trump (not President Trump, just Trump…), to which I had nothing to say, for the sake of my sister’s private life. Suffice it to say, the TrumpHate (TM) rests only upon the flimsiest of personal excuses, for all too many of them, and I expect Tucker’s rant came from just such personal childishness, masqueraded as grownup reasoning…hence the insanity, disconnected from the higher and deeper realities, know what I mean, Ern?
The absolute pettiness, not even to mention the criminality (of the leaders), is driving the nation towards ruin, and they act like it’s just a matter of “just don’t like him, nobody does”. The so-called Deep State, of course, uses such petty childishness for their own “trillions are at stake”, vast criminal conspiracy.
Obama came in, and they all just switched off any desire for the hard reality, all together and at once, “for the party”. A death cult…”and some of them don’t even know they’re in a death cult” (…I see cult people, get it?).
Back in the ’20s, before the Big Crash, such sterling minds used to say, whimsically, “ain’t we got fun?” Oh, bo-dee-oh-do…famous last words, then and now.
Luckily, Sidney Powell is the real deal (and that other guy, what’s his name…Trump), and they’re going down. And the precious little cultists will be reduced to scuttling for cover, any cover at all…
I’m sorry Harry- you should of let your sister’s fiance have his fair share of BS. Do you think he would extend the same courtesy to you? No, no. he wouldn’t. Don’t take my comment as a dig. I’ve just learned family is the worst especially the liberal ones. Which is sad really.
I deal with this within my own family- genealogical and in-laws. I used to bite my lip, toe the line, play nice. I stopped doing that and I feel awesome. And it flips people who are neutral. It does. I flipped my dad, my brother, my cousin and both my step-brother and step-sister into voting for Trump because of what I do below.
The best part, you don’t’ even have to be mean, stern, or rude. You only have to ask pointed questions. For example (replace my example with policy examples it still works) When they say Trump’s crass, rude, says’ bigoted things- Ok, fine, but you want to or. you di vote for Joe- he says you ain’t black, called a person a dog-faced pony soldier, called voter names in PA, etc. They, amazingly and usually say- not true, you’re making it up. At which point, I pull out videos. I don’t say see here you go, nah nah nah nah.
I say, oh, that’s interesting because I thought this was Joe Biden…is it not Joe Biden? I could be wrong. Watch, if this isn’t Joe, who is it? I always do it in front of other people relatives or friends. Typically the family member trying to bash Trump don’t want to see the videos- they usually say a family shouldn’t be doing this, or cmon were family, why are you trying to make this awkward. I used to back off then or in similar spots. Now I say, yes we are family that’s why I just want to make sure I didn’t confuse things or something. I don’t want it to be awkward. Usually it’s another family member that says, let me see…..followed with, no that’s Joe Biden- he said this, how come the media didn’t talk about this but I had to listen to them chastise a tweet from Trump all day? I then go, oh, if you didn’t see that one, what about this one? And, poof, the can of worms is opened. I then say, since you said Trump said racist things can you show me a video? They always go to the Charlottesville one and the 10 second clip- which then I have ready the full speech and say- here’s the whole thing, how is it racist when you listen to the whole thing?
They don’t usually talk to me the rest of the time but they are also now called out by every single middle ground family member. I had my uncle call me names, rude mean names at one event. Yelling. Everyone was looking at us. I just said, if you are so right then why are you not able to support with videos? Why are you saying no to official policy documents from Joe’s site? It really opens up other members of the family eyes.
I agree 100%, that’s the problem with our side, always trying to keep the peace and that’s not who we are.
Like my husband told my brother, so when do we voice our opinion, and how we feel, and don’t you think we kept quiet long enough. This is why we are were we are now. Speak up people. This is why the left walks all over us, they know we won’t react.
Hmmm.. Makes me wonder if that’s why we have the holiday lockdown rules in California! Another way to stifle the spreading of information.
I hope people say F-You Gavin, you don’t even follow your own rules. Sheriffs already said they are not enforcing- I read that somewhwere, could be false.
Dwayne Diesel —Good on you! Smart using questions!!!
I love playing stupid and using questions. Especially when they are watching the same video or they watch you open something up from a Dem website. They can’t say no…..or if they do, they really look like fools.
Harryd, We are age-peers and much alike in the context of your comments. Your Thanksgiving anecdote IS my family experience. Your words, ironically encouraging, ring true as if they are my own, and like Dwayne’s that follow, they help me stand stronger in the presence of my much loved, but oh so leftest-narrative-bound, family. I’ve been trying to become more skillful at steering interactions away from debate (person v person, nose to nose; winners and losers) toward a more dialectical format (persons seeking ‘truth’ together, side by side; all winners, no losers). In any case, to the discomfort of some, my home will not become a safe-space where mentioning the ‘elephant’ is forbidden in an effort to maintain a polite and pleasant atmosphere. The world is not a polite and pleasant place right now, and it’s just not in me to pretend it is.
There is a Torah concept called חוּצפָה לְקְדוּשָׁה, chutzpah l’kedusha. It means being aggressive in the defense of holiness and righteousness.
Usually we want to be accommodating and keep the peace, even in light of truth, but sometimes we must “exert.”
Perhaps I do not see things clearly or perhaps I do.
Everything is now at stake.
You’re over the target Ploni. Spot on, and I always appreciate Jewish Scripture. My wife is Jewish and her dad always share’s such things.
I don’t have much family but I lost the one I have in a conversation about “Trump” last weekend. I don’t do confrontation very well so not as glib about incorporating videos, etc. as you are.
The stupidity and ignorance of the left is so overwhelming to me, I’m the one who shuts down while they continue to rant. When my brother said, “Socialism is okay by me”, I took my leave….maybe forever.
:star: :star: :star: :star: :star: Standing ovation for you sir.
Sydney posted on Twitter a link to a gnews dot com article which has some truth and some anti-CCP propaganda. The portion of the article spelling out the company histories behind Dominion, Sequoia, etc. The ties to Venezuela, China, etc. I don’t know if gnews is a CCP counter-intel site or if they are with the resistance. But you can’t take everything you see posted there as fact. However, they did cite public information resources where you can find the same information. The gnews site connected the dots then possibly jumped the shark a bit here and there. They outed a Chinese nationals name who came to America in the 80’s after being groomed by the CCP and that person’s family has deep ties to the CCP as well as himself. He’s obtained advanced degrees at American Ivy League schools and he’s invested for 36 years likely with venture capital provided by 2/3rds of the CCP’s top most powerful families. He’s in bed with big tech, the D.C. swamp and many other wealthy connections. He’s very likely an economic spy for the CCP.
Remember, Trillions of dollars are on the line… There’s the D.C. Swamp but there’s also a globalist cabal and an ancient group of families who literally rule the world. Governments and now global corporations and tech giants are merely fronts to the real power behind the scenes hiding in the shadows. Whom do they serve? Who do they call Master? Judging from their actions anyone paying attention will know the answer to those questions. These are people with wealth that would make Bill Gates or Elon Musk look poor by comparison. Big tech is merely happy to be part of the club, but they are being used as tools by the real powers. These powers do not want a spotlight focused on them. They prefer the darkness of the shadows.
jbrickley—Like the family that’s supposed to make the Rothschilds look like paupers by comparison, the Payseurs(sp?)?
No, a Chinese family. The article is anti-CCP.
So, why not name this Chinese person? Something about your comment doesn’t sit well with me.
Go read the article. Nobody is stopping you. I am not going to post something so inflammatory on CTH as they are under a microscope at the moment. The man is one of those who hides in the shadows but wields considerable influence. He’s built a US tech and financial empire and he reports back to the CCP. Do your own research.
Yes. You forgot to call the FBI and report a number of death threats.
Seems strange but I remember a whistleblower who was placed with a gag order from the court and he said the news attacked him and there was nothing he could do.
WH releases statement on Sidney, the news is attacking here and twitter conveniently bans her? Fishy.
She is correct, she’s not part of the Trump legal team and neither is Lin Wood but they all work in unison.
“Let your enemies think your weak when you are strong“.
WH releases statement on Sidney, the news is attacking here and twitter conveniently bans her? Fishy.
Not fishy, Sidney is directly over the targets.
VoteAllIncumbantsOut—I think you nailed it with, “… but they all work in unison.”
Thank the Lord God Almighty!!!!
Keep praying folks!!! Ultimately, this is a spiritual battle, and we’re seeing what we’re up against!!!! Genuine EVIL!!!
How were you able to give yourself a ‘like’?
If you’re referring to me, I didn’t, Lol…
Not to you. Too johngaltiii.
OffCourseNation… THAT is why I hope Version 2 has this solved… annoying as heck!
Well, I wasn’t confused. VoteAll IncumbantsOut just went dingo for a second, that’s all; could happen to anyone…well, not me so much, but anyone else, mate. (Sorry, VAIO, it’s the Crocodile Dundee coming out…the dingo part…I refuse to stop joking, or start wearing a mask).
?
WordPress does that now an again. I’ve hovered the mouse over the like to see who was liking my post and end up giving myself a “like”.
That’s a plausible explanation except there are no other ‘likes’ there.
Doesn’t need one. Hovering the mouse over the “like” button – accidental or otherwise – can give you a “like”.
Simply click the Like button again and it removes your accidental Like.
It’s a toggle: on-off-on-off…. each time you click it.
Yes, I’ve done that in the past.
GB, thanks for the simple “Like” button explanation you posted back in June. Since it helped me then, I thought a re-post might be useful to others. Full credit to you, sir. : )
“GB Bari says:
June 18, 2020 at 10:31 pm
Tip: When you first come to the Treehouse (each day or each session), go down to any comment and hit “Reply”. Then, without actually typing anything in the box, go under the reply box, and click the WordPress logo to login. Then wait a few seconds…. After the screen refreshes with your login info, click “cancel” over the reply box, and go about the rest of session. Also, after that, the first time I click any “Like” star under a comment, the entire web page refreshes before it adds me to the ‘Like’ list under that comment (i.e., ” *Liked by you and 3 other people”). After that, I can click Like under any comment and it adds me without refreshing the screen.
FYI – I use Brave browsers on my Mac, iPhone & iPad and use a Gravatar/Wordpress login.”
Helpful post. I had not seen this when it was posted in June. I finally figured this out through trial and error (and much swearing). Not a good system and I won’t miss it when we move to a better hosting site.
I was going to chime in, humorously, with a kidding comment like, “I understand this is all very important to get straight, in this critical hour…”. But after your comment, I’ll put in what I hope is a not too annoying barb: You wouldn’t all be having this trouble if you never logged in in the first place…like me (“Mikey hates everything, and won’t log in”).
I always wonder, every time this comes up, “what are they talking about, logging in?”
So…never mind, as Emily Latilla used to say…carry on, harrumph. (Yes, yes, I know, I know…Hee-hee-heee)
Glad to help whenever I’m able.
That can happen accidentally and some people don’t know how to delete it by simply clicking on “like” again to delete it.
You’re not helping. Adults only.
Surprised this made it past Ad Rem. Not a good look for this site.
I am confused by your comment. Would you explain a little to me what you meant?
Once Biden enacts the Green Deal, attempts to confiscate weapons, evokes a national lock down, raises taxes, opens the borders , and makes illegals, citizens of the US, the civil war begins. Those guys you mentioned will not step foot out of their compounds.
Amen..also Louie Gommert, Jim Jordan
Louie Gohmert yes! Jordan…not so much. Much bluster, no results – AND he admitted taking dirty $.
He did not admit to taking dirty money. His campaign was given money from people you don’t like. That does not make it dirty money. Why be so closed and narrow minded? Why spread closed and narrow minded information?
If a thief sends you a gift, and your organization process it, but does nothing special for you, it isn’t immoral.
Try to understand the difference before you slander the person in the fox hole with you. And turn your gun back around to point at the enemy. Gee whiz
…reminds me of that lesser known Leslie Gore song: “It’s my foot and I’ll shoot it if I want to”…
Jim Jordan is a good guy. Don’t forget Matt Gaetz and Josh Hawley.
Jim Jordan is a good guy. Don’t forget Matt Gaetz and Josh Hawley.
Jim Jordan?

Too bad Parler has already been infected with much of the coarseness that typifies Twitter as well as a strange fascination of many posters there who are refugees from Twitter with how many “followers” they have. As a result, I will pass on these platforms as well since in my view the downside outweighs any upside. I will continue to get my “news” through diligence and hard work.
I use Twitter and Parler for people I like to read. They are smart and only allow comments they want.
If only allowing comments one wants, makes one smart, then Hitler and Stalin must have been very smart.
It was very noticeable on Parler when the Twitter “patriots” migrated. The unnecessary F-bomb became commonplace along with snarkiness and ad hominems for posters they disagreed with rather than actually discussing the points of disagreement. These things seem endemic to (anti)social media in general.
My approach is that if anyone I really care about hearing from says something noteworthy, it always is available later in one or more of my “news” sources.
Totally agree.
I’ve been on a couple blogs for more than a decade. Great conversations, civility and warmth. People I call friends.
The rush of a “zinger” or grasping for followers – just isn’t for me.
Thanks for a great and reassuring post. In my view, the vast majority of the “social” parts of the internet are intended to and succeed in destroying or reducing our engagement with others beyond the superficial.
The left annihilates civility. I’m convinced the devil took over their earthly bodies after they denounced God.
I think you are correct—the problem of course is those on “our side” are too easily influenced (and thus damaged) by this evil that walks along us. NONE of us is unscathed by the acid bath of our ever-worsening “culture.”
That is so true. I scramble every day to avoid the ever nearing edge of evil which is spreading. In doing so, I turn more often to CTH to read like minded conversation, but I find that even it’s diminishing.
This is like The NeverEnding Story…..”the nothing” which I envision as evil, is taking over the land.
I share your perspective. Having spent the bulk of my adult life in uniform it is very hard to watch what is happening.
Your concern is probably 100 times stronger than most because of your service to this country which I and many others thank you for.
Again, thank so much!
It’s like food.
Seek nourishment, make your choices with care, savor the good stuff.
Give empty calories a pass, avoid toxic garbage, spit it out fast.
Excellent metaphor. To continue it a bit, the Bible encourages us all to mature beyond pablum to more nourishing fare.
Hebrews 5:12-14
“For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.”
We on “our side” should be wiser about evil as well. The Bible clearly shows us that we should avoid it entirely rather than (arrogantly, in terms of our spiritual strength) kidding ourselves that we can “dabble” with it so as to “know what is going on,” or “to follow others—such as Trump—worthy of following” or “to get ‘the word’ out” etc.
Ephesians 4:29:
“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”
Idle talk – gossip – is a sin.
Thou shalt not go up and down as a tale-bearer among thy people (Lev. 19:16), and ye shall not wrong one another. (Lev. 25:17)
“Tail-bearing” is any kind of gossip.
Keep thy tongue from evil” (See Ps. 34:13-14) – Whether it’s true or not, whether you think it’s harmless or not, it’s a bad practice that should be avoided.
That pretty much takes out social media.
You have it in one sir/ma’am. But one of the myriad ways we as a people have strayed from a daily relationship with God and His “owners’ manual” the Bible.
Of course we can never “earn” our way into Heaven but if we have truly been “born again” through the sacrifice of His Son, we should actually be seeking to obey God’s Word.
It has proven worthy of our obedience over the centuries—just one look at our current “culture” using any moral metric and it is painfully obvious what results when we try to do things “our own way.”
Yep! The English language has many ways to express one’s thoughts… not necessary to “color it up”… tho’ that seems to be the way, nowadays. More people should read Mark Twain if they wish to increase their vocabulary re “put-downs”.
Language is but one “window” into the state of our “culture.” Having been Marine for 33 years I have heard more filthy language than most Treepers. It is not that I am offended in terms of my sensibilities but rather I despair to see what has been done to our American “culture” in terms of our “values.”
Shifting us from our Judeo-Christian roots upon which the Nation was founded, and on which its survival depends, was a key objective of our enemies, foreign and domestic over the last 60 years. They have been very successful.
Thank you for your explanation, wisdom and your service.
Very kind. Much appreciated.
The cultural rot runs deep. Daniel Patrick Moynihan thought that we had a crisis among the Black community when illigitimacy was at 12% back in the 1960s. Now, the illigitimacy rate for Whites is over 30% and among Blacks over 70%. The Great Society programs have contributed to driving our country into a dark place. Universities have contributed by spinning a secular mythology that is self-loathing and ruinous to the culture. From there the rot spreads to every institution: military, corporate, nonprofit, governmental, etc.
Very well said and sadly very accurate. What we also do at our peril but naturally as flawed humans is look at other individuals and institutions (all those you name) and effectively point fingers at them without honestly reflecting on and confronting our own “issues.” That is why I try to keep emphasizing that we have ALL been a part of the “problem” and unless and until we see this honestly and then act positively on it (the first half of 2 Chronicles 7:14 is the formula), we are lost.
Friedrich Hayek had a line about why traditional morals should be followed, even if you don’t “think” they are rational or accrue to your own benefit. He said, “Disliking these constraints so much, we hardly can be said to have selected them; rather, these constraints selected us: they enabled us to survive.” We reject traditional morals at our own peril.
What a fantastic post. I was unaware of Hayek’s view but it is exactly in line with mine. Our Founders were not all perfect nor were they all “Christians” in the sense the Bible defines them. Some like Jefferson were very selective in what parts of the Bible they believed or otherwise found “acceptable.”
Nevertheless, with but very few exceptions, they and the vast majority of Americans, “believers” or not, recognized the positive value of, and absolute need for those traditional Judeo-Christian values and precepts in structuring our nation, both governmentally and socially. They had both spiritual and practical value.
Due, however, to the successful war on our Judeo-Christian culture by our spiritual, moral and political enemies, foreign and domestic, to facilitate their atheistic, marxist and globalist “march through our institutions” our “post-modern” culture is one of increasing depravity and self absorption.
This renders us vulnerable to all that we are seeing around us from the corruption of elections on a scale never seen before to the near complete breakdown of society evidenced by outright violent rebellion, family disintegration (intact marriages, legitimate children etc. are a shrinking minority), lack of spiritual faith etc.
jumpinjarhead–Thank you for your service, and for your wise words here in the CTH. You are pointing out what our plans for the future should be, our Judeo-Christian roots. THAT’s what we have to work on—-our (hopefully large) families, and our culture at large!
You made my day. I pray more on “our side” will see the Truth as to our only way forward if we hope to actually save our nation. Doing it the “world’s way” has clearly failed.
jumpinjarhead: I am with you. All of these social media outlets are actually traps.
What a refreshing post. The addictive attraction of those “platforms” is evident in the apparent difficulty so many “patriots” have in actually leaving them as they become more and more transparent as to their being a very effective tool for our enemies to corrupt the values of a great many on “our side.”
Apparently the social media platforms were intentionally designed to be addictive. Many people are desperately concerned with how many “likes” they have, or how many followers. As if that is a measure of human worth somehow.
I suspect the main thing DARPA wanted was for people to be so addicted to social media (and internet access generally) that they would never not have their phone on them. In this way, people are voluntarily doing the equivalent of wearing an ankle monitor. The cell phone towers never sleep and can tell where exactly your phone is/was every minute of every day.
Governor in Maine surveilled those people in the State with a smart phone for a time (I think it was a couple of weeks – an experiment) without telling anyone or getting anyone’s permission. So the State knew where everyone with a smart phone had gone during that time, including what routes they took and what speed they drove. Why would they do such an experiment?
Why would they do such an experiment?
Research Hitler and Stalin. You need look no farther.
As for the craps, er traps, that ARE social media, the simple fact that their denial of the First Amendment (via censoring voices not in lockstep with their radical leftist and Socialist philosophy) rights is just one more example of the scourge that the 21st century has become. Free speech is quickly becoming a thing of the past. What I foresee is the removal of all Constitutional Amendments by beginning with the first and twenty-fifth and moving inward. When they meet in the middle, the USA will be a thing of the past (if it survives that long). It used to be the Socialists hid their true motivations and methods. Biden has revealed at least twice (the SOB they fired him and the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization comments) and now Schumer (first we take Georgia, then we control the world comment) all while Obama continues the Biggest Lie of all (no corruption in my administration–I guess we can’t really identify the corruption since it was all corrupt).
What a fantastic and insightful post! You are seeing what I have seen. Much of it ties together if we look at it closely. This “pandemic” farce is yet another effort of our enemies to both control the recent election (using its fear to open the door to remote voting that in turn plays into their election robbing framework) but more dangerously it has given them a huge opportunity to test populations as to how much control is possible and how that control is exercised. Sadly, we in America have largely failed these tests, proving that since we have inherited our precious (and unique in the world) freedoms without any cost to us whatsoever, they have little value when it comes to trading them for assurances of the State to “protect us.” This has always been a favorite technique of totalitarian states throughout history.
For those who have been here for some time you can see the fungus has migrated here too.
There was a time when deep intelligent conversations and thought was the norm here and now you see many talking and liking what they drink and what their gonna eat.
Indeed. I have noticed an uptick in the “cancel culture” being evident among some Treepers if you happen to say anything requiring some critical thinking or that otherwise runs contrary to their desire for an echo chamber here like our enemies are creating with their (anti)social media.
“what they’re gonna eat”…. lol
sturmudgeon—-Who gives a rip?
Without followers, using Twitter is the equivalent of walking out into the desert and shouting at cacti. That is the nature of the platform.
My sense it is a bit more than that in terms of satisfaction of ego needs and the like. Yet another reason for avoiding it. I wonder how many “lost” Americans on these (anti)social media platforms have actually “found their way” to the truth of “our side” through the presence and persuasion of patriots who frequent them?
Reading Twitter, FB and YouTube is all free for me, I will never sign up to any of them!!
Even Parler or Rumble, et al.
It is also free for me but I choose to avoid all that are used by our mortal enemies. The true “cost” is not measured in dollars but in the damage done to us spiritually and morally, usually by nudging that most of us do not even realize is occurring.
That’s called subliminal…marketing and advertising.
Exactly—our enemies appear to understand our flawed human nature better than we do.

Hah! I am just an old redneck Marine grunt that loves the America of our Founders.
Now THAT is a good observation and appropriate question.
It’s been MY experience there that no one has been “brought into the fold” because of anything they read on Twitter. It’s filled by people who have already made up their minds, but have a personal need to spew their own particular opinions rather than listen to what others have to say.
At best, you might find like-minded people and be able to reassure one another in the face of the constant media propaganda bombardment. That, or spread news and ideas that the media avoids.
An excellent and honest post. Well done.
It demonstrates yet another fallacy in the rationalizations I have heard from friends and fellow “patriots” who are actually addicted to various platforms of (anti)social media but rather than face that and deal with it, they rely on various fictions (they need to know what the enemy is saying, they convert our enemies, they need to follow Trump or other “celebrities” there etc. etc.) to make them feel better about supporting our mortal enemies by “playing on their playing fields.”
It is exactly the same phenomenon I see with others who are likewise addicted to sports and entertainment (TV shows, Netflix etc.)etc.). The real irony is some of these same “patriots” then talk in heroic terms (a great many seem to have watched Red Dawn too many times) about how they will save America when the “balloon goes up.”
How about a table without legs ?
In a kitchen, I would call that an island.
Jarhead I don’t see most of that “coarseness” on Parler because I follow only a few dozen accounts (people) who provide substantive information. And I don’t drill very far down into the thousands of replies under the main posts. Once I see a substantive post from a person I’ve not previously seen, I follow that person for awhile to see if they have good information. If they’re not a good source, I unfollow them.
As Devin stated in the interview, without social media there is very little conservative thought and commentary from politicians and conservative thought leaders getting out to the masses because of the increasing censorship by MSM and Big Tech.
Parler or Gab or Rumble are not perfect solutions but they are light years better than getting censored, squelched and virtually “disappeared” in Twitter, Fakebook, and YouTube. Right now there aren’t any other viable choices where the user/ viewer base is significant.
I have seen a LOT of substantive info on Parler that was banned from Twitter, and Rumble is carrying a host of conservative newsmakers who’ve been either kicked off or demonetized from Youtube.
I certainly take your well-stated points seriously. I would hope, however, that you and other mature, rational and thoughtful (again, in the true sense of the term) Treepers are not the “masses” in that you have grown beyond the need for the kind and quality of “information” that is generally being disseminated on (anti)social media. While your approach minimizes exposure to the negative aspects of all such platforms, I liken participation in them to being in a mild acid bath that over time tends to “corrode” us spiritually and morally. In addition, it appears to dull, and in some cases from what I have seen, destroy, our higher order thinking skills such as the ability to think rationally and critically about weighty matters.
In the end, at least as long as our Constitution survives, which may not be long depending on the success of the efforts to restore “virtue” to our election process, each of us can make our own choice about such things.
As one who prefers clarity and lack of ambiguity, I have chosen to wholly avoid all “platforms,” entertainment, sports etc. used by our mortal enemies so as not to give aid and comfort to any of them.
As a consequence, my only involvement with (anti)social media is, for now, CTH and to a lesser extent, Parler, that I am only occasionally checking, mainly to honor a request from my wife and son, both of whom are thankfully ardent patriots too. Should either of those “platforms” take a marked turn toward the “dark side” as others have done, I will leave of course.
I get my “news” from a system of cross-checking of a wide variety of online sources such that I am usually able to “triangulate” among a number of them about a given event of subject so as to get as close as I can to the “truth.” Once that is done, I then muse about it and form my own informed opinion rather than merely adopt that of some pundit or personality trying to sway me to his or her view.
My concern, Jarhead, is the censoring of the few truly Conservative sites. Look at WordPress. They deplatformed Sundance for telling the truth. Therein lies the real problem!
I concur that is a large problem since we as a people have grown so reliant on (anti)social media (that is 99% controlled by our mortal enemies) to communicate.
I would humbly suggest, however, that the “real problem” is broader and much deeper in that we all have been damaged and diminished individually and corporately by our enemies’ successful effort to strip away our spiritual and moral foundation of Jude-Christian values of the Bible. Having done so makes their “March through our institutions” relatively easy since we no longer have a moral foundation that can withstand their evil. The phenomenon of (anti)social media control and censoring is but a symptom and consequence of the larger more fundamental illness affecting us all.
GB, unless I am mistaken, I believe Dan Bogino had a hand in creating those 2 platforms. Love that man. I subscribe to his vids. on Y.T.
Janie, Dan Bongino was not involved in either platform’s creation. He simply made a critical decision to invest heavily in both and become a spokesman for them. As such he has done a yeomans job in promoting those platforms to his large audience and making increasing numbers of people aware of the platforms’ existence and the absence of censorship of conservative content on them.
A lot of conservatives talked about having an alternative to the Big Tech social media where free speech on conservative ideas has all but disappeared. Dan simply moved beyond the talking and tried to actually do something about it.
Unless something radical is done to big tech and the media to stop and prohibit their blatant censorship and biased one-sided reporting, we Deplorables are going to find ourselves increasingly isolated from freely communicating conservative, pro American, pro Constitutional ideas and being able to build consensus among large sections of the electorate.
Jarhead,
Since Nov 3, Parler has seen a HUGE influx of lefty crazies commenting and trying to ruin threads. Same as the TGP message boards as well as a few other conservative sites. It’s amazing how much the trolling has ratcheted up. Everywhere they are trying to downplay things. New people out of nowhere…and what many at TGP are seeing- trolls that seem to be changing names on a daily basis but are the same people. You can catch them because you block for example “MAGAMAN2020TRUMPRULES” because they are an obvious troll (everything they say is counter to their name). Then the next day a blocked “Emily” shows up but you never blocked an emily. It’s not Emily, it’s that MAGMAN douche.
Previously I think people put up with them. But, over the last week the regular commenters, we are now just blocking them. We warn others if you feed them, we will block you too. It’s fun because blocking them pisses them off.
The uptick in trolling (we’re seeing it here too from NEW members- I’m not talking about lurkers who comment once every 5 years) is over the top and it’s getting worse each day.
I”ve also noticed that the conservative sites seem to be getting throttled. I never had a problem with page load times or refreshes but since the election, certain sites like Bongino’s, TGP, and even this one now, take longer to load and refresh. While, any other site is still normal.
Maybe it’s in my head but my conservative co-worker said he’s noticed it too.
Thanks for an informative post. I have not been watching Parler since Nov. 3 but am not at all surprised at what you describe. Our enemies have repeatedly proven they cannot tolerate ANY alternative to their control of all communications and will use any tactic they deem necessary.
The concerns I express about (anti)social media, includinyg Parler and to a lesser extent, CTH, have more to do with the ways in which many apparent “patriots” have been obviously damaged by our “culture,” especially other (anti)social media platforms.
As I have said before, language means something more than merely communicating a thought. This is especially true when the means of communication is limited in terms of the senses that are engaged as in the case of the “printed word” especially where the length of the communication may be limited such that full communication of the thought is more difficult.
Accordingly, this has obvious implications for online communications such as those on (anti)social media. I am not personally “offended” by rude or profane speech but I am very concerned and disheartened when I see such things ostensibly by “patriots” that are wholly unnecessary to the subject at hand.
Such communication affords a window into our “culture” in terms of where we are with respect to our own morality, civility and perhaps more important our ability to be our own persons and not be swayed by the profane and atheistic “mob” that inhabits a particular “platform” or otherwise dominates our “culture.”
When this is politely and calmly pointed out, too often now, even here, it it met not with rational discourse but with shrill and insulting retorts that reflect the “cancel culture” and other dangerous attributes of our mortal enemies.
That speaks volumes in support of my larger contention that Americans as a whole, including far too many “patriots,” have lost the “culture war” waged against all of us over the last 60 years by our enemies, foreign and domestic. This means that ALL of us (yes—every single one of us) has lost “virtue” in various ways and in varied degrees.
This “virtue” (the belief in,and desire to conform to, traditional Judeo-Christian values of the Bible) is the very “glue” that our Founders repeatedly told us was ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED for both our government and our society to function as they intended. Without such “virtue” we will truly perish as a nation and people.
We are now on the precipice of that awful reality and far too many “patriots” have been so damaged by the “nudging” away from “virtue” throughout our “culture” that we are blind to it as reflected in the kinds of posts made by so many “patriots” on (anti)social media when they angrily reject, often quite profanely, any suggestion that they may not be living up to the standards our Founders said were the bare minimum for us to survive.
Very spot-on post. I agree. We ALL have fallen victim. It’s hard not to when that is the only drum beating via public broadcast. The other thought is drowned out.
I used to engage the Trolls. But, literally gets nowhere. As you pointed out, they can not have a civil discussion. For one, they are not here or on any other forum for civil discourse or debate. They are there to wreak havoc and throw people off course. Either by name-calling, hey look a squirrel, and/or just lying. Second, they don’t care about facts. Only opinion. I can disagree with someone’s opinion but I’m going to make sure they at least form that opinion on facts, data, and verifiable information. Not on someone else’s opinion or lies- which is usually what these trolls do.
And, you are correct. Too many Patriots jump on the name-calling and do to them as they do to you. Sometimes I agree with that tactic but it needs to be a tad more nuanced than “Nanny nanny boo boo you’re ugly”.
Another excellent and insightful post that gives me hope more patriots are waking up to the “nudging” so badly affecting us ALL.
Perhaps more on “our side” will realize we cannot “dance with the devil” solely on our terms so as to come away unscathed. Invariably we are damaged and too often do not even realize it.
That is why the Bible repeatedly warns us to “shun evil” rather than flirt with it as too many of us think we can safely do.
Dwayne Diesel—Not your imagination. I’ve noticed it too, and was wondering if it was just my imagination. Thanks for helping to clear that up.
make Parler Open and people will move…
in what sense is parler not ‘open’?
how does it differ from twitter?
thx
I cannot see any post on parler without signing up. I was to scroll, search and read before I become a member.
“I want to scroll…”
Satan calls Twitter (Dorsey) and Facebook (Zuckerberg) his Little North Korea and Little Iran. I may not be able to prove it, but I don’t know why he wouldn’t.
Projection, just as the communists do. Don’t stop. Project as much horse crap on them as you can come up with. We are at war with these scum. Bury them by covering them with bull s**t.
They will choke.
Am I the only one who hates the pale font on Parler? Twitter is MUCH easier to deal with. GAB is visually a lot like Twitter but not enough people seem to go there – how did Parler become the thing?
Dan Bongino became a part owner in Parler and subscriptions went through the roof. I THINK he is invested in rumble also.
Go to settings. Adjust. Fixed it for you. Or you can keep going to the Twit. Your choice.
I personally think both Parler and Rumble are great. Are they perfect? Of course not. But right now, when we NEED information that goes around big media and big tech, it is crucial. Right now, there are so many Trump supporters on Parler that it feels like a Trump rally sometimes. Will it be this way forever? No. Is it perfect? No. But who cares! We have the very fate of our REPUBLIC in the balance right now!
Right now, it is all hands on deck! All hands on rifles! All hands on megaphones! It is important that 80 million Americans know we are in the majority and we are on the right side of history.
Jump on and follow your favorite people like Nunes. You can get all the news and podcasts you want on Rumble. There is great programming to be found and most of it is all hidden by the media and tech unless you circumvent and go around them.
We are at an American Crossroads and there is only one right path to choose. Let’s go!
The problem – and I’m only seeing what bounces into our shared space here – people are getting into frenzies about interpretaions of this or that tweet. They go back and forth, gnawing at the thing till it’s disavowed or confirmed or disappears.
…..JUNK frittering away energy……
Because people fail to apply Occam’s Razor to the tweets. People want to believe there’s always some big dark hidden secret behind every word. No, sometimes people just say what they mean and mean what they say. No hidden meanings.
IMO, those interpretation disagreements come because someone in those debates is being told it means “A” from someone in that magic box on the wall that needs it to mean “A”. They then bring on “experts” to validate how they know it means “A” even though “A” has nothing to do with their Tweet.
If I had more time, I’d love to do a study on how easily people are manipulated via social media with no actual proof of anything. I’d also like to understand how effective Twits red censorship words are at convincing people it’s fake (even with evidence that the tweet is factual). I’d like to study the political leanings of those that fall for it and those that refute it. I think we’d find some interesting things.
But, then, I am a guy who thinks humans are born pre-disposed to being a certain way- liberal or conservative. Wanting to be free or wanting to be told what to do. I think there are people like me and others here who are born with the ability to no be a lemming or part of a herd. And I think there are people born who need to be part of herd and told what to do all the time. I say this because I can’t comprehend how anyone would want to be restricted, told what to do all the time, give up their rights, etc (I think I am getting the gist across) because for me, those things are not part of a life I want to live because its not living.
The left is so noisy, they feel like the majority. When one feels like they are overwhelmingly overruled…well then they capitulate or just get quiet. Guess you can tell I’m not a fighter….just a peace maker.
I’ll confess that part of the reason I don’t use [anti-]social media is that I don’t trust myself. Could I be hypnotized, manipulated?
The Enemy is a devil, devils are seductive.
I’ve never experimented with “recreational” drugs. Why risk addiction? Why pollute the temple of my soul?
Parler requires too much information from the user. The interface is very clunky/clumsy, the functionality is lacking. And it’s hard to browse in the same way as Twitter. Gab seems to be more user friendly, it’s just not as popular or doesn’t have the backing it needs.
Gab was created by users; Parler with Mercer money.
So Gab is more user-friendly and has a greater focus on privacy; Parler has the, well, money.
Ok then go back to Twitter and have your posts blocked. Who cares. Don’t use it. Or, be productive and provide feedback to Parler via their feedback function. TA DAH….
I’m not giving my phone number to any more tech companies.
dondeg: Wise you are.
You should have a burner phone for this type of thing.
I use an area code then -555-1212
They obviously like that number because they never call me back for more verification.
They already have it.
The MSM and major social media sites have been mocked and boycotted by conservatives to various degrees. The same with most pop culture figures. But they still have gigantic influence amongst the general public.
Until some way is found to defang their venom, and neutralize their biases nothing will change. They are far more easily accessed, widespread and influential than conservative alternatives. Especially amongst the apolitical low information consumers who succumb to easy narratives and do not go looking for depth or detail.
Conservative media is the domain of those who care and seek it out. Even talk radio is pretty much limited to a certain demographic.
It will take both intensive regulatory measures and an enormous amount of wealth to even come close to evening the playing field.
NAPALM the playing field.
Where there is a will there’s a way. Think critically. Read between the lies.!
Right now on Twitter, the Lords of the Flies are descending on what they think is something big – Sidney Powell is being thrown under the bus by the Trump team – oh, they are so ecstatic –
it’s like a feeding frenzy, how many times can you say “Trump’s Team threw Sidney Powell under the bus” . . .
good practice for them when Susan Rice throws Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton under the bus
or Barack Obama throws Joe Biden under the bus or the other way around! Joe Biden will connect the dots and realize that the “clean, bright and articulate” fellow is also a lying dog-faced pony soldier, then what?
This latest, newest flurry over the Trump Team and Sidney Powell which the “nattering nabobs of negativity” (h/t Spiro Agnew, maybe Pat Buchanan) is a prime example of how some people are trying to use “Big Tech” – and also take advantage of the isolation and lack of fellowship Sundance spoke of in the thread before this.
Gotta keep cool – cool heads prevail –
No, she’s not, but that’s what some people assumed. Read the tweet by Gen Flynn that someone posted above. She’s working independently (ad is Lin Wood). In that manner she can do more than Trump’s team because various Repubs are also part of the Dominion fraud.
And, more so as SD mentioned, it’s about money. Not just making sure the money goes to the right place but also by being separate Sydney doesn’t have to follow campaign finance laws. Although, neither did AOC, or many other Democrats.
Thats a tactic of the left: flood the replies with negative stereotypes in an effort to make supporters lose trust in conservative icons ala alinsky. Another thing I see is for one of them to make an inane comment like “Trump is toast” while the others up vote the comment, so the first thing you see on these comment sections, especially with disqus, that initially prioritize ‘sort by the best’, is that one inane comment. Psyops?
For awhile the HILL deleted the up and down votes, and the leftists became livid since they couldnt play their psyops games. I just ignore them since they have no substance or any intelligent discourse to add.
It’s primal and predatory…separate from the herd…isolate and attack. No worries though, true believers can see the ties that bind and are not so easily swayed. Let’s keep her covered in prayer.
It’s why now at TGP, we regulars are now just blocking them. I just posted another comment about this. You block someone, let’s say this am named GOTRUMPGO (they typically have pro-trump names or some spin-off of a conservative thing; some just use a single name like bob, joe, Emily). All-day long, you see posts by them being blocked. Some people feed it (the regulars are telling people you feed trolls, you get blocked too). Then you wake up tomorrow to read through and you notice a user named “jenny” is blocked but you never seen posts by a “jenny” nor have you ever blocked a “jenny”. It’s the GOTRUMPGO fool from yesterday or another troll you already blocked.
They are out in force right now. I’ve never seen anything like it. I wish I had the means to auto-track each time I see a new troll.
They don’t have jobs or contribute anything else to society so they have time on their hands to do nothing but DESTROY.
I listened to that one today and the one with Debbie Lesko (R-AZ). It was excellent and very scary. She knows what the DIMs are planning if they get their way in Congress.
Nunes’ narrative is 100% wrong. I am sorry. Based on the information out there, the Trump vote was a landslide, not a sliver in key states, yet, to acknowledge that is to admit to a rot in our Republic that throws the entire elected Grubement into dispute. The Smart-Crooked-omattic software has been around and used in vote tabulation for X? election cycles, and both RepubliRats as well as DemonRats have populated our legislature as a result. Perhaps this is why Nunes frames the election dispute in such a way as to avoid this implication. We have crooks and traitors in both parties that owe their elected positions to this crooked balloting, and they know it and rely on it.
They are bought and paid for.
Granted, of course, the issue of censorship and propaganda is also fundamental.
Potemkin Village is what we have here and the pathway to a real Gruberment is beyond my comprehension due to the inbred vested crooks at all levels, in all nooks and crannies of our USA.
One thing is for sure, vote balloting has to be fixed, and the media cleaned out. The list of other repairs to the USA are as long as my arm.
God Help Us.
John Lee Hooker wrote a song about how to fix these problems.
I have joined Parler, and you just choose to follow those you are interested in. When they begin promoting books every 5 seconds, you just hit unfollow.
I am following Sidney and General Flynn
The problem with moving to other social media platforms is that any platform demonstrating viability will be demonized by the media and then cut off from the financial resources (payment processors and advertisers) necessary to keep it afloat.
Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon et al now control the Internet through their advertising power. These companies are giant data-scrapping systems designed to funnel your marketing information through their advertising subsidiaries, then out to their goods/services producing subsidiaries and corporate clients. They can turn the money spigot on and off as they see fit; any real competition that is not politically aligned with them will be labeled as divisive, racists, problematic, etc and then financially crippled under the cover of social responsibility. This is exactly what WP has done to the Treehouse, albeit on the scale of content-creator and service host.
Migrating to new social media platforms might be necessary in the short term, but it is ultimately only a temporary fix until Big Tech is broken up and brought to heel, as Big Industry was in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
When President Trump first instituted SpaceForce there were Naval captains out there giving impassioned speeches explaining why being first to have a force in space was vitally important; once you give that up, you can’t get it back. (A loss forever, militarily and in communications, should we fail to StoptheSteal.)
It seems to me it is the same problem with the social media companies, once they have the traffic, people who are there to be *social* aren’t going to want to leave.
And they are addicted to it. I bet every single Treeper can name at least 5 family members who are always on Twitter, FB, or Youtube, non-stop. They get all of their info from those sources and those sources are the end all be all of TRUTH. These people we know fail to realize those sources just want to keep them coming back and tell them what they want to hear.
My wife tried to say that’s how I am with this site, TGP, and Bongino. I said no, I don’t always agree and express that when I don’t. If I agree on everything- I’d find that suspect. Her on the other hand- if it flashes on her FB feed or Insta feed- well, it’s got to be true and if it has a red this is disputed then it’s got to be fake. No thought. No thinking just trusting that these people are honest but at the same time thinking Trump and others are always dishonest.
This is Goebbels on crack. The social media companies have taken what Goebbels started in 1930 and perfected it via mass communication and restriction. Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat until it’s all one knows. And sadly, some humans I believe are born predispsed to wanting to be lead by the carrot all the time.
Nothing will change until Fakebook, Tweeter, and YouTube(google) are broken up into itty bitty pieces. Together those three Big Tech entities in effect spent billions of dollars in unreported campaign contributions to help get a lot of incompetent and/or evil democrats elected this year
And now, along with their co-conspirators in Big Media, they are gaslighting the nation into believing that a candidate who rarely hit the campaign trail defeated a guy who crisscrossed the country the past two months meeting with hundreds of thousands of voters.
Deplorable_Vespucciland—-And just remember what they did with Ma Bell all those years ago.
Hey Keeler….you are the consumer. You control the free market not any of those companies despite what they try to make you feel or think.
You don’t’ go to Twit, FB, or YouTube they don’t get clicks. If they don’t get clicks- they cant’ charge price A for their services. You have more power than you think. They just have been working to make you feel otherwise.
Which is why I don’t use two of those three services, and which is why the one I do use is subjected to multiple ad blockers, tracker blockers, etc. Those measure only go so far, however.
I’m not so much interested in the consumer (myself) but the content creators (like CTH) and the ability of the platform provider (WP) to use its financial power to a) interfere with interaction between the former and the latter and b) destroy any possible competition by unleashing the Twitter outrage brigade on any startup platform which threatens its financial or ideological interests.
To go back to the Big Industry analogy: Yes, you could theoretically refuse to travel by railroad in 1900. You could boycott US Steel and Standard Oil products. However, making such choices became increasingly unrealistic in a world increasingly dependent on faster travel and products made using industrial machinery. Making such choices would in 1900 would have lead to an increasingly isolated, and materially poorer, life; and the prospects for finding and using alternative railroad, oil, and industrial products or services became increasingly difficult as the power of the trusts increased to the point at which those trusts were capable of determining who was allowed to compete in a given market.
I see information as our modern coal, iron, and oil. I see the fiber-optic and WiFi networks as our modern railroads. I see Big Tech in the same role that Big Industry played a century ago.
Big Tech controls the transportation infrastructure, and has the developed both the power and arrogance to believe that it can, and should, control who gets to send what information. Boycotting its services might be a noble and necessary action, but such action leaves those who chose to do so, and their ideas, increasingly isolated from modern society; and in light of Big Tech’s power to determine winners and losers, migrating to new free speech platforms will only be a temporary evasion of its jackboot.
Therefore, while I agree in principle with you, the current monopoly status of the tech industry greatly reduces the power of the consumer to reject some services and find others better suited to his or her needs. There is also the added complication that Big Tech is global: the American consumer market, with its traditional concerns for principles such as free speech, is not the only one with the power to influence the industry. There are other, larger markets with their own interests and pressures to consider, many of which are in tension with or hostile to our own. This too dampens our individual influence.
I bring these points up not to be pessimistic about the power of the consumer, but to try and help define the challenges we face.
Very well said. I agree as well. I guess, what I mean is that we can only do our own part. And that is not being a consumer. The 2nd aspect is then o support people willing to enter office and break up that monopoly.
Absolutely. Ultimate resolution can only be an electorate capable of understanding the issue, caring about it, and taking action to correct it. Anything else, up to and including judicial rulings, is only a temporary fix.
Twitter is the new opium for the masses. Not one tweet changed the outcome of anything. Nothing more than getting something off your chest and pretty much ignored by everyone else.
Trump winning will only hold off progressives for 4 years and republicans hove no bench. Cold day in hell I’ll vote for Nikki Haley or any other the RINOS push to the front.
Trump should throw in the towel and let the republic fail. That way they ones that care can go to work.
doesn’t using twitter make you a twit?i never will do twitter,or parlor or whatever.i do have a FB acct though, but only for the classified.
There is a Hardcore Conservatives for Trump group on MeWe that is pretty decent – Though there have been issues with trolls that need to be booted and issues not unlike recent days here on CTH. IMO, much better than FB. It’s nice to have a place to share other interests too that is not amenable to the Parler or Gab format.
Biblical yes. I tried to post this twice earlier but somehow it never posted so I’m trying one last time.
Think about what is happening and who plays who.
Nice!
An interesting point: Mordechai angers Haman because he wouldn’t kneel before him.
Mordechai couldn’t – bowing down is verboten for Jews, worship reserved for the Almighty, (blessed be He). In antiquity they suffered martyrdom repeatedly, so grave is the offense in the sight of G-d.
Chuck Schumer got down on bended knee in a bizarre scene scripted by an evil old witch. Shocking! He’d probably have been excommunicated, if Jews still did that sort of thing.
He’s accumulated plenty of sins in his wretched life, but this one is exceptionally bad juju. Don’t get anywhere near him: The earth may open up suddenly, swallow him and his whole House (Demonrat). A lightning bolt may have his name on it – whoosh – collective wipe out!
Its the ones with advanced Stage 4 Pelosi that I worry about…
Once you’re diagnosed with full blown liberalism it’s over there is no cure . Fatal 100% of the time . Early onset liberalism is a different story and if the infected is pumped with heavy doses of basic common sense they can snap out of it but that’s very rare, most perish .
“Top Psychiatrist: Today’s Left Are Mentally Ill”
“According to veteran psychiatrist Dr. Lyle Rossiter, leftists are suffering from a form of psychosis, comically nicknamed ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome”.
“Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded,”
“For decades he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago”
“Rossiter says today’s liberalism, as displayed by the likes of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton throughout the previous administration, as well as by today’s Democratic Party leaders and the increasingly hysterical “mainstream media,” can only be understood as a psychological disorder”
“Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave.”
“A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do,” he says.
“A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do”.
“And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation’s citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state – as liberals do.”
Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:
Creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization:
Satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation:
Augmenting primitive feelings of envy:
Rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government:
“The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind,” he says.
“When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious.”
Trump really is the imaginary villain.

@realtreywells on parler
I dont participate in the socials that much. I did have a FB account, got rid of it, and then later created another account to participate in my hobby activities. Nothing more. I have never tweetered, nor do I plan on parler games, or gabbing…..but I am happy to read the posts from the public speech platforms provided by my fellow treepers.
I spend enough time here reading SD’s well written articles, and the overnight open topic section that cover things that have been going on in the world that just isnt covered by the national MSM. Where else will you find any news about the wall being built on the southern border, or what the BP has been up to? (Thanks Stillwater!)

Interesting interview. I have seen him interviewed numerous times on financial shows. I know his background, he was telling the truth, but what he stated has been out there for a few weeks now so I’m not convinced he has independent information.
I do wish he would financially back Sidney Powell if he truly believes the election was rigged. I wish the newscaster had asked him if he had been in touch with Sidney.
He is.

The one thing I’ve accomplished in 2020 is viewing ALL news items with suspicion. There was definitely more to the story. More of a distraction than news.
Yes, you really have to. Ive been bit by the ‘its gotta be true’ bug several times from news sites.
While everyone is freaking out over a supposed break in the Trump Team of Lawyers … (yawn) … distraction … let’s not forget that Georgia is where the fan gets messy this week, from Lin Wood to J. Sekulow to Powell and that’s just the beginning.
Don’t get distracted by the shiny object … when the cases hit it’ll all snowball.
Nunes is right about one thing … Biden knows his election was a sham and he’ll never stand at a swearing in this January.
Just so.

Right now, Parler and Rumble are theoretically capable of serving as new forums for balanced political debate.
That’s the theory, but the reality is something else. There is NO incentive for anybody on the left to abandon Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, etc. to go on Parler or Rumble. None.
As long as they stay on those platforms, we essentially have “separate but equal”. Conservatives talk to themselves on Parler/Rumble, and Lefties stay on Twitter/Youtube.
Nobody is going to change anybody’s mind on Parler or Rumble, because we’re preaching to the choir there.
The only way this changes is if Congress gets the stones to crush the current big tech monopolies and force a migtration to neutral platforms, which doesn’t seem particularly likely.
Parler/Rumble DO provide a critical forum for our side to at least share info and coordinate without censorship, but let’s not kid ourselves into thinking we are going to change any minds there.

FOIA request it.
In fact, I am looking for guidance from Treepers on how to do a FOIA request in CT. I have had enough here. I am a gym guy and Lamont is doing everything to ruin gyms here (and other businesses) with his new lockdowns and status updates.
I have had enough. My wife is a personal trainer and lost her business in March when all hell broke loose from the tyrants. She built it back and now it’s being pinged again. She will survive because she built it this time as a come to you service. But, our gym may not survive and neither will any of the others around us.
I want to FOIA all documents surrounding the signing of a contract with a COVID testing company. CT retained the services of Lamont’s wife’s family’s company to do the testing.
I want to get all contractors, emails, negotiations, and other items associated with the bidding process that is supposed to happen around making this decision. I don’t think there was a bid. In fact, I think our legislature wasn’t even in session when the decision was made.
I don’t have money for a Lawyer but I am smart and can do things if I am given a road map or at least pointed in the right direction. Thanks.
The think also, if I request this info and they say it doesn’t exist….how so? How was a contract awarded then? Or if it comes back and there was no bidding. I will sue the state and take them to court myself. As I said I don’t have money for a lawyer. I may not win but damn, if I file it and I have the evidence it will at least be shared with the public.
Lamont and his family are raking n millions while they force others out of business. ANd here in NE the pu$$ies don’t fight back. I don’t have a business but I’m done. Someone has to do something.
D.D. – I regret I don’t have the knowledge to help you, but just know there are millions of Americans on your side.
Thanks, and I understand. It’s why I need to do something. My son asked what if they come after me. I said, then don’t let my death be the end. Carry on. He just said- will do, and if they come after me I want to buried next to you. I said, not over my dead body…LOL
He did ask a serious question- He asked if I’m going to point out the illegality of the COVID restrictions too.
I said no, not the point. This is CT, won’t work, too many Karens and lemmings. I said I want to focus on the following (which is why I need the FOIA):
1. CT Bidding Process
2. State Contracts must go through State Legislature
3. Legislature hasn’t been in session since February
4. The amount of money made by his wife’s (and his) company compared to the amount being lost not just by gyms but restaurants because of illegal restrictions.
5. Focus on he’s making millions via an illegally gained contract while he is forcing you out of business through illegal mandates while saying they have the science but never share it.
6. Remind people that not only is he making millions while you lose via those illegal mandates, he forces a $10k fine on you, even though you can’t make money to even pay that fine.
I think that focus is better than COVID stuff.
I don’t have the knowledge to help either, but good luck in your endeavors. Maybe someone will speak up.
ReglarMerican—–VERY interesting!!!!
I don’t do Facebook or Twitter and don’t watch Fox. Don’t lick the boot that kicks you!
Great interview, I hope folks listened.✅ Truth.
I’m still advocating the ban of twitter posts. You can add to this list. But ignoring media is a powerful tool for free speech.
If someone tweets and nobody is there to hear it, is it a tweet?
Let them realize their vision of being a monospeak echo chamber.
If you can imagine an echo chamber you realize it’s a fast track to insanity.
They don’t call it the free flow of information for nothing. Free speech is a FLOW not a monolithic message or narrative.
Their model is doomed by nature.
Interesting reading comments about social media. I’ve been hesitant to comment because it takes me out of my comfort zone but decided to in case there’s others who can relate.
I understand the sentiment that social media can be a superficial way to engage with others but caution not to use broad brush applying universally. I’m somewhere in between given I live in a rural area and have contact with horses more than humans, with the exception of family and a few close friends. Thankful we’re all like-minded involving politics.
I agree with the pros & cons about Parler. Since twitter is viewable to the public I occasionally check on certain ones but never desired an account because I was never one to comment on any site. When Sundance posted about a deadline awhile back to sign up for commenting, I decided to do it ‘just in case’. The election fraud changed my hesitation on commenting publicly. I’ve surprised myself at the # of times I’ve already commented here. I also ended up joining Parler mostly because I trusted Nunes & Bongino and few others’ recommendations and wanted to support them and anything that may help eliminate or lesson twitter’s stronghold. Am I naïve thinking it will help?…maybe but for time being, I’m willing to help the cause, minuscule as it may be.
Whilst not wanting to weigh in on the Twit & Parler commentary, I think that one of the most important issues that Mr Nunes raised in the interview was calling out O’Bama directly & his ‘shadow government’.
High time this was done & good on Devin, but more importantly good on American Thought Leaders for posting this.
The only comment I would make on the language etc., on the social media platforms – I’ve noticed over time that there are ppl who use the language / images that put people off to shut them up & stop them interacting with others.
Here’s the deal: Trump won by a landslide with the continuing censoring and distortion of Big Tech. Most Americans believe that the election is being stolen irrespective of the spin by Big Tech. Big Tech is dead.
the problem is that the ENEMY has dominant single use platforms (Google, YT etc)
I wish folks would stop saying use tis platform or use this platfrom.
It would help a great deal if POTUS said look , I am going to use the following platforms to get my message out
Gab (v Twitter)
Bitchute(v YT)
MeWe (v FB)
and I am asking ALL trump supporters fed up of censorship to migrate to these platforms and to stop using and supporting the enemy media that is trying to take your voice away.
REAL MASS ALTERNATE PLATFORMS ARE NEEDED…..but cannot be achieved if many splinter alternates exist.
All this twitter is worthless talk is making me ill. Use it as a tool, not as a drug, and you’ll be fine.
Bear in mind for 10 seconds the fact that TWITTER was instrumental to VSG POTUS success.
He used it like a BOSS for 4 years to get past the great MSM information BLOCKADE.
As much as social media is sucking now, it has been an invaluable tool in our Republic.
If you don’t like socials (and I don’t) that’s fine, but at least acknowledge the value it has presented.
Used in moderation for information distribution it has value. As the opiate of the masses, it is too effective in heavy doses. Hit and run, get your info, don’t fall down the dopamine hole, you’ll be fine.
Sure the leadership and direction is rotten, but POTUS still managed to squeeze tremendous Value out of it.
And really, is the owner of Parler any more problematic than the powers behind Twitter/Facebook?
You Tube closed the connection? Anyone have it downloaded and uploaded to Rumble?
Has anyone figured out why Parler, after each and every f’ing Parley, shoots you back up to the beginning of the page so that you must f’ing scroll back through the dozens of f’ing stories you’ve already f’ing perused to try and find where you f’ing left off? Asking for a friend.
Yeah, I hate that too!!!
I agree. After the election, this site is the only news I get. I do not watch any news on TV. I don’t read news from any other site. It’s all propaganda. I replaced wasting my time on the news with listening to the bible and reading books. I am happier for it.
1. DROP Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, CCP’s Tik-tok, etc. LEAVE if a member.
2. NO viewing of ANY program on ABC, NBC, CBS, or PBS, not even the local news, while being sure to let your local stations know this.
3. NO viewing of ANY NBA, NFL, etc. event. Let them know why. Tell them to move to China for their audience.
4. NO purchase of ANY “Made in China” products unless they are absolutely NEEDED and there is no other source. This ESPECIALLY means no upgrading of still functional big ticket items like HDTVs, smart phones, laptops, etc. ONLY if they break.
5. NO support of Hollywood via moviegoing. Let your local movie theaters know why. Rent a DVD if you must or use legal FREE streaming whenever possible.
6. DROP Netflix and let them know why.
7. NO gift cards from Amazon for Christmas or any other time. Give pre-paid credit cards or personal checks.
8. AVOID if possible sending your child to ANY college that has Postmodernist/Cultural Marxist courses. Let them know why.
9. AVOID as much as legally possible the paying of taxes. Donate to reputable, tax deductible conservative organizations.
10. USE an ad blocker if and when using YouTube.
11. USE an alternative search engine like duckduckgo.com instead of Google.
12. Get out of any debt ASAP. AVOID any future debt.
13. SHUN and chastise anyone who does not follow the above.
Why shun and chastise? Because if conservatives can’t manage to do the above which consists of simply giving up a few games and circuses when others have DIED to protect what we want to defend, they are truly contemptable.
Stop -FEEDING- what we gripe about, what the bought and paid for Rep/Dim UniParty will never fix, and what has just caused what is effectively an election won or stolen by neo-Marxists and Chicom allies!
I haven’t read all the comments yet…..too many threads with too many comments to get through them all.
Can I just say that this man knows everything we know (that’s a lot!) and I would vote for Devin Nunes for President without any reservations.
I hope I live long enough to have that opportunity.
He’s knowledgeable, tough, intelligent, tenacious, experienced, he has integrity and is honest, well spoken and last but not least, he’s easy on the eyes.
Every time I see Biden, it makes me want to gag because he is evil, a liar, demented, disgusting ( it shows in his face) and I can’t even BEGIN to express my thoughts about Kamala because I don’t want to be thrown out of here.
I just hope we have a country to save after the possibility of Biden getting his hands on it.
Thanks for reading my rant for the day.
Nunes, one of the few loyal Americans in Congress. He initially was stifled by Paul Ryan who refused to call witnesses. Then when the Democrats took control of the House that ended his hopes in getting to the bottom of Russia Gate. The traitor Wray concealed and destroyed evidence that he requested. Then to top off Barr-zini refused his criminal referrals.
Talk about patience.
I’ve already started to boycott big tech. I got a new email via ProtonMail and am no longer using gmail or any of the google services. I deleted my FB account. I don’t have any other type of media accounts except for LinkedIn but my job requires it so I can’t dump that. I use a Tor browser on my PC for all my personal stuff except for banking/credit card logins because most of them cannot be accessed through Tor. I even have Tor on my phone for browsing. I switched my PC o/s from Windows to Ubuntu. I have an instant messaging chat app called qTox that encrypts chats outside of peer to peer. Just in the beginning stages still but I’m on my way. I put my smart phone into developer mode and removed all automatic updates, most importantly, SYSTEM updates. Looking into rooting my phone to remove as much as I can as far as apps that I don’t use (like social media & YouTube) that have ROM programs attached to them that still collect your data even though you don’t use them. SO MUCH to do.
