Michael Flynn Hearing Today 11:00am – Open Discussion Thread

The DOJ, Sidney Powell and the Sullivan appointed amicus John Gleeson will hold a hearing today in the courtroom of Judge Emmet Sullivan to argue the unopposed motion to dismiss the case against Michael Flynn. The hearing begins at 11:00am ET and you can call-in to hear the audio of the live courtroom events.  (details below)

  • 877-336-1839  – (access code 5524636)

  • 888-557-8511  – (access code 4140864)
  • 888-273-3658  – (access code 1773796)

UPDATE: If you cannot get through on any phone line use this periscope link HERE

UPDATE 2: Technical issues at the court.  Recess called until 12:35pm ET to work on issues. I’m Dropping another link (YouTube) below that was not compromised during the “technical issues”.

UPDATE 3:  Some more technical glitches and a 15 min bio break until 2:45pm ET

UPDATE 4: Hearing ended abruptly.

If the true administration of justice was to prevail in this case, the judge should simply accept the unopposed motion and this would be the end of the malicious prosecution.  However, this case has so many precedents anything is possible.

If you are listening-in to the hearing, feel free to drop your thoughts and opinions into the comment section to share.

Here comes a lengthy presentation impugning the character of the President. All of it goes uninterrupted by Sullivan, a courtesy he did not extend early to the defense table when he interrupted Powell at least 20 times in 5 minutes.

Sullivan might be wondering now why he invited Gleeson to the party.

  7. deeperinfo says:

Gleeson says President Trump tweeted “Good Luck” to Flynn just before Dec. 2017(18)hearing before Sullivan: since Sullivan did not sentence at that hearing, is that proof that Sullivan was conspiring with President Trump via tweets???

Now says “dirty cops” is a false narrative!!!!

    Dude: Evidence!

How are Gleeson’s remarks relevant to the issue? Sullivan cut off Sidney, you made you point, what’s your next point?
    All for the news programs.
This is what Federal Court is. Have you heard a SINGLE judge criticize the way this case is proceeding? Me neither.

  11. Carly says:

Sullivan said he didn’t read everything, but he did read Sidney’s letter. Some say this is unsettling because it shows bias. I think it also shows that he doesn’t think Flynn is guilty- why bother reading exculpatory evidence? Even Gleason is telling him no need for evidentiary hearing (of course, the dirt would be on full display). But if Gleason knows the truth, then he has one choice: to do the right thing. I think there is a low chance of that.

  12. Bryan Alexander says:

Barr has created a huge hole that Sullivan and Gleason are driving through. Barr should have already censured and disciplined the Special Counsel Lawyers for violating Brady. The lack of definitive official actions by the DOJ against Team Mueller is harming Flynn now.

That being said, Gleason arguing before the court is gross violation of the Flynn’s rights. The judge is allowing a partisan WITH NO STANDING to make arguments against defendant. Sullivan should be severely disciplined for allowing this.

If Gleeson is so bent out of shape about PDJT tweets that is because he thinks Sullivan isn’t strong enough to ignore the President’s tweets. This is NOT about President Donald Trump.

Gleason is just bashing P. Trump’s tweets as if they are relevant to the actions of the FBI in framing Flynn or withholding Brady information from him. He is being allowed to say the tweets, etc. are all lies without challenge. I’m sure his “testimony” will be repeated in 3 second sound bites on the news tonight. . . oops, the hearing just crashed again.

  38. Sassy says:

Who is this Gleason guy, after all? His bias and snideness are obvious. He’s giving “evidence.” Is that his role (provided he even has a role here)? So his job is to tell the judge what to do? Is he a replacement for Mueller?

Is Gleason under oath? Can Sydney or the government charge him with perjury if HE doesn’t tell the absolute truth? Can she even object? This seems outrageous, but then I’m no lawyer.

What do the President’s tweets have to do with anything? It seems as if Gleason’s entire purpose is to provide the media with talking points.

What also seems obvious is that they want to drag this out and either be able to charge Flynn again, later on, or force the President to pardon him and then go after the President for something like “abuse of power.”

If Sullivan does dismiss WITHOUT prejudice, then they can come back after Flynn again, if I understand correctly.

I can’t believe Gleason is smearing Barr, as if there aren’t rules of professional behavior.

“They, they, they.” Talk about disrespect.

Pointing to the President’s tweets is so low. PDJT is not an attorney, he’s just expressing his viewpoint as a member of the public.

    • Eric C. says:

Notice how he answer the “there was a report we talked before your appointment as amicus” (paraphrase) from Sullivan. Gleason answers “this is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to address the Court” (paraphrase). How convenient, yes this is the first time he’s had the opportunity to address the Court – officially. He could’ve talked with Sullivan about the case outside of “the Court”, which neither of them will testify too.

      Very clever.

Makes you wonder if Sullivan was coordinating with the Gimmydats to set the date of the arguments for September 29th. All the while, knowing that this was the date of the first debate. Fresh accusations for the azz-hulls on the reprobate / debate committee to exploit. Tonight will tell.
