Rod Rosenstein Steps-Up To Assist Mueller Attack Trump Over Roger Stone Commutation…

One of the biggest mistakes many people have made in their evaluation of Rod Rosenstein is separating him from the Special Counsel investigation run by Robert Mueller’s team of resistance lawyers. The reality is Rosenstein was always a willing active participant and co-dependent enabler.  [Thread Here]

Support for this foundational understanding comes forward yesterday as the former Deputy Attorney General showcases his support for an op-ed presumably written by Robert Mueller.

[Op-Ed Here]

[*Authorship is tenuous at best, and more likely written by Weissmann or Zelby (Lawfare) on behalf of Mueller] But for now, focus on Rosenstein.

Notice how Rosenstein positions his current advocacy as part of the Mueller team. This is critical; and unfortunately everyone keeps missing it. Rosenstein did the same thing in his Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

When you stand back it becomes clear, Rosenstein viewed his role with the special counsel as participatory. He was Deputy AG not only as DAG, but also there as a functionary – to facilitate the needs of the special counsel investigation.

This outlook, specifically Rosenstein’s internal definition of his role and responsibility, is why the special counsel was able to essentially take over Main Justice during the two year investigation. Rosenstein took NO ACTION that was not approved by his teammates.

This becomes key.

.

This becomes key because Rosenstein was an enabler for the plots and ploys being executed by Mueller’s assembled team. That’s how the Lawfare resistance group was able to set up shop and essentially run amok.

As Attorney General Jeff Sessions was firewalled; and Rod Rosenstein was a willing co-dependent enabler. The special counsel team was running main justice. Repeat this as many times as needed to absorb.

The special counsel team was running the DOJ.

When congress was getting stonewalled, blocked, and impeded from inquiry it was the special counsel doing the blocking. It was also the special counsel that did every release. Every strategic release!

The resistance team convinced Rosenstein that part of his role to help them was to block any inquiry into material they did not want released. If they defined it as adverse to their interests they controlled it. Rosenstein allowed this. Rosenstein facilitated this approach.

That approach included Rosenstein telling President Trump that he could not declassify any material that touched on anything to do with the Mueller team investigation. [Example Sept. 2018]

By aligning with the team of usurpers, Rosenstein blocked declassification of documents and helped the special counsel control the media narrative. It would be obtuse and intellectually dishonest to think Rosenstein was hoodwinked. He’s not stupid.

Rod Rosenstein knew what was going on behind the Mueller team’s closed doors, even if he was not physically in the room.

Additionally, another critical element to understand; that helps reconcile many challenging issues; was that every release from the DOJ during the Special Counsel tenure was only possible with the special counsel directing and approving the release.  Again, it’s worthy of repeating because this is a cornerstone understanding that is completely misunderstood.  This is another paradigm shift.

Nothing was ever released from the DOJ without a purposeful intent by the special counsel to allow its release. This includes the Lisa Page and Peter Strzok text messages, and the information about Bruce Ohr which was released only a few days after the text messages.

This resistance group control also includes the redactions to all documents. The special counsel controlled all this stuff.  [Listen to AG Jeff Sessions in the video above]

Immediately after Brandon Van Grack pressured Flynn into signing the plea agreement (November 30, 2017), literally the next day, December 1st and 2nd, the Page/Strzok text messages were released. The special counsel was gaming this out. Controlling everything. Rosenstein was the facilitator.

The special counsel did all the redactions; the special counsel removed texts from releases; it was the special counsel who were selectively releasing and selectively hiding information for two years. Rosenstein was the facilitator.

It was the special counsel who decided to release the FISA application under the guise of a FOIA request. Again, a purposeful release. [Go look at it – release date Saturday July 21, 2018] Everything was being managed from inside the DOJ operation center controlled by special counsel lawyers. Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein was their shield.

Additionally from the Mueller Op-Ed, notice how the cornerstone of Mueller’s position is that Russia hacked the DNC emails and gave them to Wikileaks. Again, in this article published Saturday -critical of Stone’s commutation- the issue of importance is the Russia-Wikileaks angle.

This Russia hacking narrative had been the fulcrum position of the special counsel all along. That’s why this specific issue must be defended *AT ALL COSTS*, even through today.  Take away the “Russia hacked the DNC emails” narrative and suddenly the entire premise of the special counsel collapses on itself.

THAT is why the day after the special counsel provided the original report to newly confirmed AG Bill Barr, the very next day they grabbed Julian Assange and threw a bag over him.

Rohrabacher interviewed Julian Assange in August of 2017.  The Eastern District of Virginia (Dana Boente) initiate an investigation of Assange after Rohrabacher’s public statements about the meeting.   By December of 2017 a grand jury was seated, and a ‘true bill’ was the outcome.  The indictment was sealed on March 6, 2018.

The indictment remained sealed for over a year; until after the resistance group completed their investigation; which would have continued except AG Bill Barr now had oversight.

On April 10, 2019, the special counsel gave Bill Barr their original report (containing grand jury information).  On April 11, 2019, the U.K. authorities moved-in and arrested Assange.

Two people hold the balance of the election outcome in November. Julian Assange and Ghislaine Maxwell. If either of them spills the beans before November and/or dying, then all hell will break loose. That is why the MSM/DS/DC-elites/Globalists are in such panic mode. There may not be enough popcorn in Nebraska to meet the need at that point!

LABELS are easy to make – I ordered 3×5 sheets (1000) from Avery and used their template to insert the image off internet with lettering “don’t tread on me” to the right of the image. Preprinted labels are expensive. This cost me under $30 for 1000 and I can make more easily as fast as my printer can spit it out.

Trump does not control what gets declassified and released. And there is nothing which can get declassified and released which will have the slightest impact on the election or on anything else. The notion that there is some “silver bullet” document out there somewhere which will radically alter the political landscape if produced is a fable.

Everyone already knows what happened here. What’s disturbing is that so many either don’t care or actually approve of the criminal plot to take down a President. But that’s not a problem which can be solved by releasing any documents.

The continuing stall is plenty of evidence in itself…

Add to that barr’s statement that obama and biden won’t be investigated.

Add the fact that the criminal “fbi” agents that framed General Flynn by lying and falsifying documents haven’t even been arrested.

Consider the fact that barr has stated several times that mueller has been his “best” friend for 30+ years.

And, that barr continues to insist that wray is doing a good job as “fbi” director even tho the coverup of the “fbi’s” actual participation in the attempted coup, and the coverup of the fbi’s framing of General Flynn is on-going,,,

Also, considering that both Tom Fitton and John Solomon say that barr and durham are doing nothing…

There’s no guarantee Obama or Biden won’t be indicted using facts of criminal involvement and complicity arising from the investigation of significant others presently underway.

I can see the sense of not doing a witch-hunt of Biden or Obama. I suspect there is no need to.

I suspect there are significant others who will sing long and loudly to save themselves.

Thus the facts may assemble independently, of their own accord, provided by others with first-hand knowledge. That’s often the best way to accumulate facts that stand the test of prosecuting crimes independently shown to have been committed.

Barr never said he would not indict. Barr never said he would not prosecute.

We will see soon enough what happens.

Great comment, although I’d venture to guess that it’s less than 50% of the truth that is in the public domain, but that’s plenty enough, given what that 50% has revealed, to chop some heads off.

The other 50% is so dark even President Trump said it should not be revealed.

You can’t blame them for that because it’s as it always has been–the Big 3 networks don’t cover anything that’s pro-Trump. That won’t change.

To “expose” at this late date is honorable but what % of the population would see it or even believe it was honest “evidence.”

The only thing I can think of that would manage to sway an important % of voters is actual evidence that there is/was a conspiracy of the heads of the networks to publish LIES about Donald Trump and to provide some evidence that these people called the voters “stupid enough to believe us.” That “47 %” comment by Mitt Romney was truth, yet it sank him because you heard his voice and saw him saying it.

If our POTUS wins re-election, it doesn’t look as if it’s because this stuff will be revealed to the voters and/or win them over to Trump.

The majority of Americans eat what they are fed. They don’t want to be bothered to make a difficult choice concerning their health and well being.

Who would feed ‘actual evidence’ to the masses even if you had it? You have just pointed out that it would not be the big 3 networks so the answer is only non-mainstream publications. We lucked upon a brief period of freedom of expression through the internet over the past 10 years or so. Big tech, Big media, Big academia, and Big Government had become so complacent with their nearly complete control that they missed the leaks in their boat and Donald Trump was elected President. This temporarily caused them to shit a brick. This however is being corrected now. It won’t be long before any non-approved speech is squashed. The few remaining platforms that allow freedom of expression will be marginalized as “Racist”, “Homophobic”, “Xenophobic” hate sites, and anyone visiting those sites will be on a list. If the simple ridicule of those who spout quotes from places like the conservative treehouse is not enough to dissuade them then the people on those lists will be doxxed, their public identities outed, their careers, and reputations ruined by propaganda.

The disgusting thing is that we live in a post-truth world. The truth no longer matters. Only the narrative matters and there is no longer any accountability. It would take public executions for society to return to any reverence for law and order. Unfortunately, things will continue to get worse for the foreseeable future.

Find a quiet, safe place for you and your family. Stock up on essentials. Stay in communication with friends who believe in truth, justice, hard work, fidelity, god, real education, and country. Eventually, society will come full circle and back to some sort of sanity but probably not in my lifetime.

Despite all of that, I’m a huge supporter of our current POTUS. He is the last of a dying breed of real men who take a stand and endure the consequences rather than hiding under a desk or behind a woman. He is showing a generation of coddled man-children what courage is in the face of overwhelming odds.

If it is God’s will then I hope to see you on the field of battle, my friends.

Thanks, Sundance, for this report, and the reminders from the years-old record. As you’ve stated, we are in the midst of an all-out, global information warfare exercise, between two opposing sides, but the fact is that neither side is in the least bit transparent.

The Washington Post Op-Ed by “Mueller” yesterday, Rod Rosenstein’s re-tweet of it, and the linked Jeff Session testimony about his versus Rod Rosenstein’s responsibilities and authority, while in no way bringing transparency to either side, highlights the core ambiguities.

I am reminded of the difference between the “exoteric” or outer circle, and the “esoteric” or inner circle, as applied to ancient Greek schools of philosophy, describing the public appearance each presented to the world and perhaps taught to its novitiates, reserving certain secrets for only the smallest of inner circles. A key lesson to be taken from this “inner-outer circle dichotomy” is that the true purposes of an organization or project protected within the inner circle can be radically different – the opposite even – from those published to the world.

“Mueller’s” Op-Ed restates the exoteric or outer circle justification for the Mueller Investigation: Russia was out to help Trump, Russia hacked the DNC server to help destroy the HRC campaign and released damaging emails both directly and through Wikileaks, and several Trump campaign and transition members were in suspicious contact with Russian Intelligence operatives, were righteously investigated about it, lied about it and were appropriately convicted or pled guilty. Rod Rosenstein’s re-tweet appears to say, “This was my understanding, all my actions were justified. If there was some esoteric conspiracy to manufacture false evidence in order to create the false narrative and frame innocent people, I was not part of it.” The same defense is likely from any number of DOJ and FBI agents, as well as other Deep State actors involved. The Crowdstrike testimony to Congress acknowledging that it, along with all the other Deep State actors, had no direct evidence that Russia had hacked the DNC server, is “disappeared” from the Deep State public narrative. “IC” consensus is the backstop for every perp not part of the IC community.

The Gaetz questioning of Sessions is very interesting in that it sought to explore the boundaries of Session’s recusal due to conflict of interest (legally required when Sessions is himself a party or a likely witness to the matters contested), and consequent empowerment of Rod Rosenstein with ultimate leadership authority over the activities and personnel of the DOJ. The hearing is in the context of all the matters of DNC-Obama Administration wrongdoing that the Republican House had earlier demanded another Special Counsel in a July 27, 2017 letter from Chairman Goodlatte.

Gaetz was only partially successful in gaining clarification. What we learned was that Sessions was receiving all the same reports that Rod Rosenstein was, but authority to act on them was transferred from him to Rosenstein not only for the matters assigned to the Special Counsel, but other matters as well, “close to” ten matters in total. As to what those other matters were, Gaetz tried to pin him down. Sessions, obviously wrestling with what he could say and not say, stated eventually that he did not believe he was recused from looking at the Uranium One matter, but that he did not want to and ultimately refused to answer whether he was recused from looking into the “Fusion GPS matter.” Republicans demanded a Special Counsel to look into everything. What we got was Horowitz, Huber, Durham, Jensen, and we don’t know what else, if any, is still secret.

Session’s responses and tells would suggest that there already was, as there should have been, a separate investigation to look into the DNC-HRC-Fusion GPS-Obama Administration initiative to create a false IC consensus that Russia and Trump were collaborating on his campaign. “Best strategy is to slaughter Donald for his bromance with Putin,” read one email to John Podesta in December 2015. “Was there an adequate predicate to open Crossfire Hurricane?” asked Barr. “I was spied on!” says our VSGPDJT.

“Why didn’t Mueller interview Assange? Why didn’t Mueller look behind Crowdstrike’s conclusions in its draft report to the DNC of how its server was hacked, blaming it all on the Russians? Why did President Trump refer to Crowdstrike and ‘I understand you have the server’ in his ‘perfect’ conversation with the Ukrainian President?” “Why didn’t the FBI look at Seth Rich’s laptop?” And “what about Weiner’s laptop?” ask Mueller’s critics. The “Big Ugly,” in other words.

Sessions’ refusal to say suggests he was not recused from the Big Ugly, but couldn’t say so because everything in the Big Ugly was ostensibly the subject of the Mueller Investigation, but wasn’t going to be investigated, but instead covered up, by the Mueller Team. The Big Ugly then, would have to be, assuming it exists, a separate investigation, run discretely and secretly by a small inner circle within the Trump DOJ and Administration.

Watch Sessions in this interview, especially the tells when he is qualifying his responses. He shows great confidence when he volunteers that he knows and likes Rod Rosenstein, doubt resolving to apparent clarity when he says he does not believe he is recused from a Uranium One investigation but then answering that he cannot say that the Uranium One matter might involve matters on which he is recused, and doubt resolving to unwillingness to respond – I can’t talk about that – when asked about Fusion GPS.

Sessions and Rosenstein were together part of one of the inner circles driving one of the opposing narratives. But which one was it?

I just realized that one mistake we’ve made is to let the actual speakers of words on ABC, NBC, CBS get away with the words they say. We criticize the Big 3, we name the networks, we call CNN “fake news” but we need to adopt the people themselves –“TAPPER whores for the Dems and LIES.” “Anderson Cooper is a TOOL”. Name the anchors of the big 3 until we smear them to the high heavens. IT WORKS to tie the negative to the people who say it rather than the network. It works faster and better; that is why Tucker’s mocking of Don Lemon has been so effective.

  32. Yes Rosenstein is a career taxpayer dependent grease weasel, buts there are thousands of Rosensteins out there. The problem is not Rod Rosenstein. The problem is Donald Trump. Donald Trump appointed Rosenstein. Donald Trump did not overrule Rosenstein on declass/releae in 2018, rather, Donald Trump heeled like a dog in front of unelected Rosenstein and obediently and humiliatingly walked back his September 2018 executive order to declassification and release the spygate docs. Rosenstein is gone and Trump still does not declass and release.

At this point in the game it does not matter what Rosenstein did or did not do. Until we see full transparency Rosenstein is just a red herring, a diversion. Keep you eye on the prize. Failure here on declass release is 100% on trump. There will be no indictments and there will be no more releases if Trump loses in November. The bureaucrats will refuse to do anything after the elections if trump loses. It either gets done before the election or it never gets done. Donald Trump knows this and Donald Trump is putting the country at risk for generations to come by not acting by not immediately declassifying and releasing it all right now.

Further declassification is pointless at this stage. What is it supposed to accomplish? It’s already well established what was done and by who …. what will some additional documents telling us what we already know get us?

Absent any support from Congress, the President, any President, can give whatever “orders” he likes, but he cannot make anyone obey them. Congress has made it explicitly clear that they support the anti-Trump rebels in the government bureaucracy, and that they will not allow any anti-seditious people to be conformed to positions of consequence.

I am most certain that if Trump fails to declassify/release or doj fails to indict someone more than clinesmith Trump loses a sliver of his base. Trump’s margins are slim and losing this portion of his base will result in a Trump loss come November. It is simple. This issue is the most important to many and most that it is important to would be more than inclined to vote for Trump again in November, however, Trump understands this issue completely and his failure to act pre-election puts this generation and current generations at risk all for whatu? His cowardice? Whatever it is that drives Trump’s failure to declassify and release if it persists he loses a portion of those that voted for him in the past.

I believe there are more of us. We need to mobilize, especially in the swing states. If there are states that are vote harvesting, Trump supporters can learn to do that.
Reach out to Scott Presler, the young man from Northern Virginia, that is traveling all over the US & teaching people to register voters.
