CONFIRMED: President Trump Commutes Sentence of Roger Stone – “Roger Stone Is Now a Free Man”…

This evening a Washington DC appeals court denied an emergency request from Roger Stone to delay the start of his 40-month prison term for bragging to congress. The court said Stone had not proved he was in particular danger of catching COVID-19 in prison.

The court decision assured that Mr. Stone would have to surrender to federal correctional offices in Georgia. However, the White House is now confirming that President Trump has contacted Mr. Stone to notify him his sentence has been commuted.

WHITE HOUSE – Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Grant of Clemency commuting the unjust sentence of Roger Stone, Jr.

Roger Stone is a victim of the Russia Hoax that the Left and its allies in the media perpetuated for years in an attempt to undermine the Trump Presidency.

There was never any collusion between the Trump Campaign, or the Trump Administration, with Russia. Such collusion was never anything other than a fantasy of partisans unable to accept the result of the 2016 election. The collusion delusion spawned endless and farcical investigations, conducted at great taxpayer expense, looking for evidence that did not exist.

As it became clear that these witch hunts would never bear fruit, the Special Counsel’s Office resorted to process-based charges leveled at high-profile people in an attempt to manufacture the false impression of criminality lurking below the surface. These charges were the product of recklessness borne of frustration and malice.

This is why the out-of-control Mueller prosecutors, desperate for splashy headlines to compensate for a failed investigation, set their sights on Mr. Stone.

Roger Stone is well known for his nearly 50 years of work as a consultant for high-profile Republican politicians, including President Ronald Reagan, Senator Bob Dole, and many others. He is also well known for his outspoken support for President Donald J. Trump and opposition to Hillary Clinton.

Mr. Stone was charged by the same prosecutors from the Mueller Investigation tasked with finding evidence of collusion with Russia. Because no such evidence exists, however, they could not charge him for any collusion-related crime. Instead, they charged him for his conduct during their investigation.

The simple fact is that if the Special Counsel had not been pursuing an absolutely baseless investigation, Mr. Stone would not be facing time in prison.

In addition to charging Mr. Stone with alleged crimes arising solely from their own improper investigation, the Mueller prosecutors also took pains to make a public and shameful spectacle of his arrest.

Mr. Stone is a 67-year-old man, with numerous medical conditions, who had never been convicted of another crime. But rather than allow him to surrender himself, they used dozens of FBI agents with automatic weapons and tactical equipment, armored vehicles, and an amphibious unit to execute a pre-dawn raid of his home, where he was with his wife of many years.

Notably, CNN cameras were present to broadcast these events live to the world, even though they swore they were not notified—it was just a coincidence that they were there together with the FBI early in the morning.

Not only was Mr. Stone charged by overzealous prosecutors pursing a case that never should have existed, and arrested in an operation that never should have been approved, but there were also serious questions about the jury in the case.

The forewoman of his jury, for example, concealed the fact that she is a member of the so-called liberal “resistance” to the Trump Presidency. In now-deleted tweets, this activist-juror vividly and openly attacked President Trump and his supporters.

Mr. Stone would be put at serious medical risk in prison. He has appealed his conviction and is seeking a new trial. He maintains his innocence and has stated that he expects to be fully exonerated by the justice system.

Mr. Stone, like every American, deserves a fair trial and every opportunity to vindicate himself before the courts. The President does not wish to interfere with his efforts to do so. At this time, however, and particularly in light of the egregious facts and circumstances surrounding his unfair prosecution, arrest, and trial, the President has determined to commute his sentence. Roger Stone has already suffered greatly. He was treated very unfairly, as were many others in this case.

Roger Stone is now a free man!

View this as the prelude – an example of communists being…communists.
Pray that Trump wins. If they can do this to Trump’s friend on bogus BS charges imagine what they will do to plain folk who get in their way.

    A Biden win will mean:

    1. We are all right-wing defendants waiting to be indicted
    2. Anything we say and do – and anything they invent out of whole cloth – CAN AND WILL be used against every conservative
    3. Conservative judges will be ousted first – we will be on our own
    4. Trump will be in Mexico having requested asylum from Obredor- no one here to Pardon or commute conservatives

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION OF OUR LIVES! Make sure friends and family understand we are on the precipice looking down and it is one hell of a fall if Biden wins this.

It is possible Trump will be the last Republican president win OR lose. The establishment RINOs have betrayed us one too many times. My bet is if POTUS wins a lot of RINOs will be primaried in 2022 and unless the GOP is radically changed tge base will desert in 2024 and form a new party. For what it is worth I think the Dems will break apart too.

        • With all due respect you ignore the whole point of Trump: to expose deep state. He is not talking about driving out people who are very visible and leaders like Omar and Pelosi and Schiff.

GLOBALISTS are very scared. Soros admitted that if Trump wins globalism tanks.

If Trump gets rid of deep state, then the momentum of the left falls apart the same way that the death of Soleimani crippled the Taliban…only Trump is going after an even bigger force.

and I submit to you that hte support of Franklin Graham and of Bishop Vigano are very key to our ending this craven notion that Trump is an individual who holds the world upon his shoulders.

Trump’s whole point is to let the people know that they are the MAJORITY, that deep state has created this myth that the forces for leftist globalism are what most people want.

Rush and Levin have BOTH seen unprecedented crossover to their brand, as Trump’s rallies have also had.

To believe that Trump is just some sort of charismatic leader and without him we go back to being submissive sheep is to be a defeatist. Maybe you are older and the fight is out of you, but younger people are beginning to realize that America really IS the unique place where ANY dreams will still be possible.

Because of what has been happening we have had a priceless glimpse into what the world looks like on the left.

Because of what has been happening we have had a priceless glimpse into WHO will enable such a world.

That is the SWAMP and Trump doesn’t mean to skim off hte surface and leave, he means to drain it…but he is waiting those of us who have not surrendered to your pessimistic defeatism to reactivate our patriotism and summon forth from our DNA the courage and fortitude of the founding fathers.

By all means ignore that Trump’s big picture does not include leaving Americans as ignorant of the forces trying to control all aspects of their lives as we have been the last 60 years.

If you look even just at Gutfeld and Watters show you will see the firebrands of the younger generation. You think that they are going to surrender htis nation, knowing that ALL hope for freedom is gone if we do?????

        • Difficult to do in the Bay Area as people are so over the top they can go after you and there are litigators who can make a case.

Californians are going to have to use insurrection and financial withholding and that is going to be hard to organize, but what happened on the 4th was encouraging

    • If the left wins we will be in civil war.
If TRump wins we will be in civil war, as we ARE in civil war right now, but people are in denial…which is enabling the left.

the ONLY way we avoid civil war is if in the next three months Trump discloses what he knows about the left.

he has several times hinted that what they have done is unbelievable evil. Some of us know about much of that evil and it WILL indeed hurt deep state and so this craziness makes sense.

Trump is a master of timing and of media and so I would argue that as with waiting to help Stone, he is letting the left expose their absolutely over the top hypocrisy and animus in order for decent, relatively ignorant Democrats to awaken to the evil of their party, much as Trump did. Remember that prior to being president he pretty much thought he could borrow ideas from both sides and create balance. He was astonished by the ideological left, as he had never seen that when he’d been surrounded by sycophants who curried his favor because of his money, his charisma and his media appeal.

Watch the movie The War Room, a 1993 American documentary film about Bill Clinton’s campaign for President of the United States during the 1992 presidential election. James Carville and George Stephanopoulos are true evil. After you watch that, watch Primary Colors.

Would rather have had DOJ drop case bc, like Flynn, Mueller SC served “no real investigative purpose”. Also, Carter Page FISA warrants were fruit of poisonous tree, another reason to free Stone. Don’t understand why Barr was so cavalier about Stone case. Also, not sure why Stone did not appeal the Berman decision on the lying juror, or did I miss something.

I hope this happens. Just a little annoyed by Barr’s inconsistency. Barr has already publicly said the Mueller investigation had no predicate, ergo no legitimate investigative purpose like rational for Flynn drop. Dropping Stone would have been another dagger in the Russian farce headed by Mueller.

    • Wethal says:

Stone is appealing his conviction, and Barr knows that.

Barr is also aware that one of the Dem campaign strategies for the fall is the “Trump and Barr politicized the DOJ.” If he intervenes too much or too obviously, he give the Dems ammo for that.

      • truthbomb says:

I understand your point. I just think the Stone commutation gets spun far worse than Barr bias, and, Trump ends up taking the political heat far worse than Barr. Trump has an election in Nov, not Barr.

        • Wethal says:

Trump is the elected official, so he takes the political heat. Prosecutors are supposed to be apolitical.

Barr may have known the commutation was coming, so he let the political and appellate processes play out. Barr is helping out Trump by keeping the apolitical public approach.

I think most everyone knows Trump will pardon or commute Papadopoulos, Flynn, Stone, and a couple of others.

It’s how they play the game around that knowledge. And now Judges are exposed as actively political.

Barr is political also. We can only hope he leans our way or acts justly, regardless of ideology, to do the right thing. I prefer the latter.

Over the last 3 years, few things have appeared just and many are now exposed as criminal, so the expectation of justice is low.

            But the fight continues.

Very good news for all the reasons Sundance states. I am happy real justice has been done for Roger Stone and hope he wins his appeal. He was denied evidence and had a crooked jury foreman.

I am disappointed with the DC appeals court decision to not delay his imprisonment until after his appeal. I fear this may not portend well for General Flynn in his and Powell’s attempt for dropping the charges, even with the evidence greatly favored on his side. If they were willing to kill a man by sending him to a prison with Covid inmates then I can see them cowering to Sullivan’s personal Vendetta. However, I will continue to pray for truth and justice for General Flynn. Our judicial system has been politicized beyond recognition, including Chief Justice Roberts.

There is still a question if the DC appeals court will allow the DOJ and Flynn to drop the charges. They hold the power. My point was that I would not be surprised if DC appeals court sides with Judge Sullivan. I hope I am wrong.

However just as with Stone, the judiciary is hyper-partisan and corrupt (Sullivan). Again, I am happy for Stone but it never should have required a commutation. The partisan judge was in control and is just as partisan and corrupt as Flynn’s Judge Sullivan. Chief Justice Roberts may say there are no republican judges or democrat judges but that is a farce, especially with democrat appointed judges. In the past Repubs have given the benefit of the doubt to dem judge candidates because dems held the Presidency and expected the same in return. Does not happen, see Kavanaugh.

My point was on the political nature of judges, especially democrat appointed judges. It is why everything PT does goes to liberal judges and ends up years later in the SC and when it gets there Roberts is not very consistent in following the Constitution (see Obamacare and re-writing of the Civil Rights act. Just look at recent rulings where they kicked the can down the road as opposed toAmaking decisions based on Constitutional law, which is supposedly what they are paid for life to do. It is also why Roger Stone had to have his sentence commuted. Liberal Judges..
