Mr. Barr talked for an hour in front of the Federalist Society a couple weeks back. The topic was equal powers, specifically the assault on the Office of the President (Executive Branch). I saw this a positive sign he would be holding some folks to account that are involved with I called a coup as far back as March, 2017.

There are those that say “PDJT will never be removed from office so let them impeach him in the House, let it go to trial in the Senate”. What’s missing in that sentiment is a recognition that Schiff, pelosi et al are forever changing the way we will be governed; it’s tyranny and nothing less. Progressives have been set back 40 years, losing out on 200 judgeships, losing ground on progressive open borders – PDJT has rolled back everything obama. I think, just my opinion they have resigned themselves to the reality that is PDJT and simply scorching the earth on as many fronts as possible.

As an example: the Speech or Debate Clause. Article I, Section 6, Clause 1, of the U.S. Constitution states in part, for any Speech or Debate in either House, [senators and representatives] shall not be questioned in any other place. The purpose of the clause is to prevent the arrest and prosecution of unpopular legislators based on their political views”. So what is going on here in MY opinion is shiff is urinating all over the Constitution and leveraging protection under it. He’s operating UNconstitutionally, exploiting the very law intended not to just to protect him, but protect YOU and I from people like him. It can’t be overlooked and I’d like to be corrected on this if I’m wrong. Bottom line is this Clause is KEY to separation of Powers, all being changed by the likes of schiff, pelosi, nadler as we speak. Unfortunately, I don’t see a statute to hold this clown to account, but searching.

Thank you for your respectful comment and request for my elaboration.

I’ll keep it simple. SD labeled the AG as “Bondo Barr” at the time of his nomination, and has not retracted the moniker.

Rather, SD has chronicled multiple times how Barr’s actions, to include sheltering and embracing Wray, whom the President openly accused of criminal conspiracy via protecting the coup plotters, clearly appear to be directed at preserving the reputations of the DOJ and FBI institutions.

Barr’s rhetoric has no basis, yet, in credibility and, IMO, SD knows it.

                  Dallas Dan
Got it. I suspected the Bondo Barr or Fixer monikers is what you were referring to. That being understood I’ll head out further on the limb here and challenge you and SD to reconcile a few things, all this from a regular schmo in flyover country.
                  1. PDJT and “The Art of the Deal”. I have maintained the coup plotter group is small enough and their actions egregious enough they can and will be brought to justice without major upheaval, They are painted as untouchable, they are not IMO.
                  2. Ukraine and foreign aid corruption is being exposed. Billions at stake. With more to come out the plotters are chump change and become more expandable. PDJT is amassing so much info on this front it is remarkable. The interviews with Shokin and Lushenko are unnerving for the defenders of impeachment. They need impeachment to get a decent hand but as of now they have nothing. I said last week if it were 5 card draw, the dems just asked the dealer for 4 cards.
                  3. IMHO There will be a grand bargain on impeachment, Ukraine and coup plotters. The most high profile in that scenario is dirty money in Ukraine and the trail is clear. Biden is going off the deep end and can’t be ignored. Impeachment is a tired story and the sooner the dems end it the better for them; they need an out.

With that, I still believe the fate of Republic is at stake and Mr. Barr will deliver on his own words. As opposed to “fixer” he will operate as a “navigator” on how this comes down. Only a few will get a pass and the coup plotters are frankly no longer part of the “inner circle” ie expendable.

                  ILOT,
Your opinion from flyover country is as good as mine. 🙂

1.I believe you are grossly underestimating the depth, breadth, and power of the Deep State.

                  2. Ukraine has no impact on the House Dems’ goal of forcing an impeachment trial in the Senate. The msm is running interference for the bad actors, and I seriously doubt Barr and Wray will turn on/indict Dem leaders or their family members.

                  3. The Dems are all-in on an impeachment trial. I think any opportunity to avoid it evaporated months ago.

                  4. We will respectfully have to agree to disagree on Barr. I side with SD, and we both may be mistaken. We’ll see.

                  Thanks for your dialogue.

Some of the records were obtained by an NSL from the SDNY office (Comey’s daughter works there as a prosecutor). NSL is a admin subpeona that flows directly to the FBI Director who approves it then to the SDNY. It can only be issued for national security purposes and the data is confidential and a judge never sees it. But on an NSL only the number and time is available..no content. Of course there was nothing stipulated for national security reasons in the S*hit report then the NSL was illegally obtained.

So basically, Wray is involved with the attempted take down of Nunes and Guilianni, ergo he’s involved in the coup. OR this was processed around him with his staff who may have lied on the app by approving it for Wray.
At the very least, this gives Trump the out to fire him. And he will in good time.

By Schiff extrapolating and giving out errant information, he has now set himself and his staff on the wrong side of the law. So he will have to be removed even from Congress. And he is also liable with intentionally creating a false report under oath (all Congressional reports are submitted under oath). So not only is he criminally liable but also civilly liable as he has violated a plethora of Nunes’ rights and others in those pages (like Soloman).
This won’t go to the Ethics committee. This will go directly to the courts since he violated the law.
I predict that Nunes, Guilianni, Soloman and anyone who are in those papers will file an emergency pleading stopping any further divulging and a stay. Then the lawsuits will fly.

We desperately need a rebirth of the concept of honor. The very existence of an Ethics Committee strongly implies the need for honor among elected officials. Can democracy itself exist without a strong diffuse sense of honor in the body politic?

Talk of not voting as a protest is an exercise in shunning, Shunning only works against honorable people, who can actually be shamed. Schiff’s sense of right and wrong is divorced from a sense of honor; if you asked Pencil-Neck to define right and wrong he would talk about legal and illegal, not what’s honorable.

I’m pessimistic that democracy can exist long-term in a society with a significant percentage of secular leftists. Their worship of government power and authority is very much aspirational. Older people reading here will have noticed how rarely modern Democrats speak affirmatively of personal freedom, compared to previous generations. Honor is a hindrance to the machinations of the leftist police state.

What if Hitler was Shiff (I know, its close) so what is to be done here within the system of checks and balances? Anyone? Does it actually come down to the only action possible (of account) that Nunes has to sue Shiff as a private matter? This makes no sense.

Well, it works like this: Depending on the stature of crime, without intent you can’t say the crime was committed(at least, deliberately.) Other crimes however, you simply go down to involuntary manslaughter, or aggravated assault. So as an example(not that I agree with it), Comey was essentially saying there wasn’t a proper charge to assess to Hillary Clinton, not that a charge shouldn’t have been made. ‘extreme carelessness’ is not per say a crime.

Now, this case on the other hand is interesting. We can prove deliberate intent from the simple fact that it’s in the report. And Adam Schiff is the intel chairman. He can’t say otherwise. If Nunes can prove these records are falsified, then Adam Schiff is in a big bag of schiff.

Legally speaking anyway, not congressionally. Just as Adam Schiff protected Sondland from his continual perjury, there’s no way in hell Pelosi will throw Adam Schiff under the bus. He has been to date, a useful puppet.

As a general rule, in order to be taken seriously you have to have CREDIBILITY. Every dem on the schitt and nadler committees is obviously indifferent to their lack of it. Their continued reliance on a low info and hate filled constituency and an embarrassingly corrupt and silly msm has lulled them into a lazy and slip shod “work” ethic.

Oddly, this is a typical product of socialist systems too. No personal or professional ethics, low standards that continue to get lower, never a thought to try and achieve personal excellence, reliance on an easily corruptible system reliance on the mob… . They have nothing to offer. Being spear carriers for s0r0s and the DS is beyond their capability.

Now, what if Nunes & Co. learned that Schiff and his treasonous conspirators were monitoring their phones calls…….what type of trap might they lay? This is not really in my wheelhouse — any technical spooks out there?

This is a complicated situation In which Schiff does not come off well. Three factors.

First, he had no charter whatsoever to go after Ranking minority member Nunes.

Second, he waffled on where this telecon info came from. He had no power to privately subpoena it. Apparently was a privacy breach of a NSL from SDNY on Parnas. That is per se illegal.

Third, he illegitimately attempted to paint Nunes as part of a PDJT conspiracy. Pure projection.

TDS is destroying Pelosi, Schiff, and Nadler. Slowly but very surely and very publicly.

short of a legal of expulsion from congress, which are both unlikely.

any consequences might be the following scenario:

shiff gets caught up in some criminal misconduct, outside of congress….and is expelled on those grounds..also unlikely..house majority is democrat!

his constituents vote him out…also unlikely…he is “loved” in his bubble.

some larger external force determines he is a liability to a larger corruption that he threatens to expose..namely, the IC..so there could be a sudden change of events in his career.

investigations and courts of following indictments …next 1-3 years …reveal him as a co-conspirator, or abusing his powers in some way.. that could get him removed, or he resigned to avoid prosecution as ‘deal’.

        these are all speculative..

if I have to place a bet, I would say his chances of remaining in congress are about 75 Percent…on just what we know in the public.

that probability dances all over the place when unforseen events unfold.

what can be done right now, is to shame and humiliate him because he deserves it.

schiff is stepping out on his own here..

it’s important to notice the move.

    the reasons why are several

    1. he no longer has the security and theatre protection of the IC. they don’t want to touch him with a ten foot pole. Or a narwhale tusk. IC will force him to play according to the law in every way, because now EVERYONE is watching the IC…they have a serious problem, and doing stupid business with stupid schiff..get stupid prizes.

    2. the IC may also be setting schiff up a creek here. Clinesmith wasn’t and probably will never be the kind of distraction necessary to give them some insulation. Nope…they need a much higher level scandal in congress to re-locate both the media and the sentiment away from durham and huber and DOJ OIG reports away from the toxic misconduct…

    3. this provides a much larger exotic type of social manipulation. Because we understand actually hold schiff to some criminal act, is very unlikely…or that such a move would redirect serious resources to pursue it….this allows the press to both preserve the impeachment sham with the new element that the chief prosecutor is being attacked for “doing his duty”..and also holds in reserve the possibility that when the senate hears the articles and tries the case against trump, they do not convict at all..which is probably going to happen. What schiff is doing is expert level defensive playing…and we should be excited about this new chapter..this shows the leftists have made a huge strategic move to protect their back ends. and of couse the media will play nice either way…it will compete for lead in the media along with any other damaging DOJ/SC investigations that are soon to be released.

summary: assume schiff’s actions here, as deceitful and absolutely unlawful, we should expect more of the same. Since it isn’t possible to know exactly what cards they will decide to lead with, sending rounds this early in the battle against this threat is not stragetically sound. Now, let schiff continue to spiral the toilet…Never interrupt when your enemy makes mistakes.

I see this as a good sign in the bigger picture.

he is flailing desperately to capture position..but it is a defensive position in the bigger picture.

like someone pointed out..if schiff has something serious..why has he not drawn up a charge or referred this to criminal investigation?

let them make mistakes..don’t interrupt..the american voters understand the basics of what is taking place..the desperation without any wins is a bluffers and a liars game.

voters know this..they see schiff for the person that he really is…not as some saint who will wreck trump..but as a liability that have proven to be a liar…and someone who is destroying and remaining credibility ..

he has nothing…he is dealing in credits owed back to his handlers who are desperate to continue a confusing psyops game so that americans are divided over what to believe when the investigations come out. these aren’t stupid people..they just aren’t in a position to be ahead of the curve.

it’s a defensive move. expect more of the same.

    that’s my read.

I go back to Barr’s speech to the Federalist Society about the erosion of the Executive Branch powers. Congress is way too powerful. They’re exempt from most of the laws they subject everyone else to. Insider trading? No problem if you’re a Congressman. Want to lie to Congress? You can if you’re in Congress. Want to give yourself a raise? Just vote one in. Want to subpoena phone metadata? Just send a request to the phone company. No warrant or probable cause needed at all.

There’s no oversight of Congress. They’ve exempted themselves from it and have run roughshod over the people.

Our Founding Fathers didn’t want a king, as the three dumb “Constitutional experts” kept harping on. But, they’re idiotically remiss to leave out the fact that our Founding Fathers hated Parliament even more. They loathed Parliament.

Both Parties have cooperated in sedition for decades to refine this power sharing agreement. Barr’s speech was dandy but shifting their power is akin to moving air around inside a balloon.

We should not be looking to more power in the Presidency to check Congress. It is our is our job to purge Congress – on a regular basis.

The People allowed the passage of the 17th Amendment and we must repeal it. It removed the crucial balance of power of the States to appoint and recall their Senators. Indirectly, to the globalists delight, the 10th Amendment is now moot for all intents and purposes.

We let the local and state Parties choose and groom our House Representatives for us. We let them tax us without limit until they have bought enough votes and government dependency to cancel our votes out.

They will never reform themselves – Barr or no Barr.
