Day Five Impeachment Hearings – Fiona Hill and David Holmes – 9:00am ET Livestreams…

Today begins day five of the House impeachment hearings.  Testimony today will include Fiona Hill, President Trump’s top adviser on Russia; and David Holmes, a very sketchy State Department fellow whose wife, Stephanie Holmes, also works at the State Dept; holding a previous assignment with former Ukraine Ambassador Yovanovitch.

The foreign service office is one big internecine anti-MAGA network of mutually aligned career interests, and hard-core political operatives.  The fiasco starts at 9:00am EDT

  5. It comes down to a pretty simple question, which should be asked by a Republican and be left to the actual electorate:

Should a President who was the victim of having his campaign spied on, called a Russian asset for 3 years, been smeared by the failed Mueller investigation which took down many of his friends and supporters for unrelated process crimes, had his family attacked, maligned, investigated, been the victim of leaks, lies and outright coup attempts including discussion of wearing a wire and being brought down by the 25th Amendment, and had his Presidency delegitimized by the Dems and their partners, the press, be allowed to have one of his only trusted allies, Rudy Giuliani, America’s Mayor, the man who took down the New York mob, to poke around and try to find out who might be behind it?

They just finished testifying “they” wanted Pence to go to Ukraine – they wanted this to happen – their plan.

Then they testify to someone saying Guiliani is going to blow things up – it is not a stretch to think that individual meant the plans “they” had.

Let’s be honest, “they” are all butt-hurt because an outsider is not looking the other way to the plans.

Of course there is a link between Burisma and Bidens. And Trump was correct in wanting both investigated. But any investigation would be looking at it as two cases. Burisma and it’s criminal acts within Ukraine. Then the Bidens and any criminal acts concerning their involvement with the company. Our AG should have already started an investigation in to the Bidens.

  19. So….with the Horowitz Report release date now being touted as 12/9…

    1) Will the democrats be able to get a full house vote on impeachment before the release?

    2) Will the report touch on the Ukrainian origins of much of the garbage that was in the ‘dossier’ that was the foundation for the FISA surveillance?

That creep Goldman just said again in the hearing that the notion that Ukraine had anything to do with the 2016 election has been “debunked”

This Horowitz report has the potential to blow the entire premise of this impeachment out of the water.

It better GD well better happen or we’ll know there are actors participating in this coup who are in the President’s cabinet and are actively trying to take him out. . . . . the AG.

Okay, so lets get this straight…

The US President Trump, who was elected to bust up American Corruption coordinates efforts with the Ukrainian President Zelensky who was elected to bust up Ukrainian Corruption are discovered trying to bust up corruption by corrupt people in a corrupt network. Those corrupt people formulate a corrupt plan to exploit corrupt individuals to initiate a corrupt scheme that corrupts the legal system in the process of a continuing corrupt Coup attempt.

Draining the Swamp is proving to be a daunting task…it has exposed the extent of corruption and it is greater than any of us could have imagined. It will take a miracle for Trump and Zelensky both to survive it.

BS HR issues, Chinese whispers, assumptions, 3rd hand tattle tales, bar room rumors, spite, envy, revenge. Did I miss any? The State Department, NSC, DOD is a sandbox, clearly redundant and should be cut by 80% of their staff and budget. WTF are these clowns doing all day? Stop the funding, shut the gov. down to pay only the bare staff and essentials and transform this mess. Trump was hired to flip the conference table and tell everyone to do better because clearly the elites are children who have never been told no and spend on daddy’s credit card at will with no repercussions.

Diplomats are exempt from having their bags searched while travelling. Think about what could be in those bags. Can diplomatic bags be searched?
The most important point is that as long as it is externally marked to show its status, the “bag” has diplomatic immunity from search or seizure, as codified in article 27 of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. It may only contain articles intended for official use.

Over the past few days of testimony, we may have seen the other shoe drop as to why the deep state is out to get Rudy G.

Sure he told the President the Ukraine still needs work on the corruption front and this new Ukrainian President may be a good guy.

Rudy’s real sin was his assessment of the Embassy Team supporting the Ukraine that has NOT been made public. These arrogant diplomats must have gotten wind of the fact or figured it out. That explains the President telling this entire team to p_ss up a rope, with repsect to dealing with newly elected Ukrainian Government.

There’s so much corruption within the Democrat party and deep state (redundant, I know), with more bubbling to the surface almost daily. So, I’m beginning to think impeachment could be a good thing.
When the articles of impeachment come to a floor vote in the House, I think the Republicans should make certain that it passes. Let the Senate trial begin.
President Trump should then exploit every opportunity to force the appearance of witnesses from the opposing camp, grill them mercilessly, spread out all the dirty laundry for everyone to see, and have his Attorney General prosecute without mercy. The objective should be to destroy the left, which means the Democrats and their media and deep state friends.
From one perspective, this would be bad for the nation, as impeachments tend to be. In the short term, it would seem to be extremely divisive, and that seems to play right into the left’s hands. But from another perspective, it could be our last great opportunity to clean house, to move our nation and its institutions back toward where our founders intended us to be, and to give our children and grandchildren a chance to have the kind of nation we’ve had and loved all our lives.
I’m willing to accept a significant amount of sort-term pain in the hope that the longer term will be much better.

As stated by Nunes last night.. Schiff has gone down this road too far and can now not come back from it. Impeachment must go for a vote before the whole house now or it will look like he failed.

This is not what Pelosi wanted. She just wanted to dirty up the President for 2020. If it does go to the Senate, then the GOP is in the majority (I know you all know that) but the rules will be different and there will be witnesses that can fight for our President for the first time. All sorts of shenanigans done by the dims will be exposed. Not to mention corruption and true criminal acts.

If it fails in the House vote, then Schiff slinks back under a rock never to be heard from again.
