Despite Warnings Media Steps on a Rake With “Whistleblower” Story – Ukraine Government Initiated Contact – Giuliani Engagement Was Requested by State Dept. Officials…

Well, well, well… the media cannot say President Trump didn’t try to warn them about throwing fake-news rakes in front of their narrative parade – then wondering why they keep getting black-eyes.   Here we go, the details begin to surface.

With more reporting by John Solomon, cited and attributed to on-the-record officials in the State Department and Ukraine, a much more clear picture emerges. In reality, and unfortunately as expected, the fulsome picture is 180° divergent from the media narrative.

The government of Ukraine under both Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, and now President Volodymyr Zelensky, had been trying to deliver information about Obama officials and Democrat party officials (DNC on behalf of Hillary Clinton) requesting the government of Ukraine to interfere in the 2016 election.

Both Poroshenko and Zelensky administrations had tried, unsuccessfully, to get information to current U.S. officials. U.S. State Department officials in Ukraine were refusing to give visa’s to Ukrainian emissaries because they did not want the damaging information sent to the President Trump administration.

Failing to get help from the U.S. State Department, the Ukranians tried a workaround, and hired a respected U.S. lawyer to hand deliver the documentary evidence directly to the U.S. Department of Justice. The contracted American lawyer hand-delivered the information to the U.S. Department of Justice in New York.

However, after delivering the information and not hearing back from the U.S. government, the Ukrainian government, now led by President Zelensky, interpreted the silence as the Trump administration and U.S. government (writ large) being upset about the Ukraine involvement overall. Out of concern for a serious diplomatic breakdown, the Zelensky administration made a personal request to the U.S. State Department for assistance.

The U.S. State Department then reached out to Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani; and asked him if he would meet with Zelensky’s top lawyer, Andrei Yermak.

Rudy Giuliani agreed to act as a diplomatic intermediary and met with Yermak in Spain. After the meeting, Mr. Giuliani then contacted the State Department Officials in charge of Ukraine and Europe and debriefed them on the totality of the subject matter as relayed by Andrei Yermak.

All of this activity preceded the phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

President Trump and President Zelensky discussed the issues, and this phone call is the one now referenced by the concerned “whistleblower”. The “whistleblower” obviously had no knowledge of the background and why the subject matter discussed in the phone call was framed as it was.

Apparently in the phone call, President Zelensky was explaining what action the Ukranian government had already taken to try and get the information about corrupt U.S. officials, including former VP Joe Biden, to the U.S. government.

It was from this clarification of information that President Trump is reported to have told Zelensky it was OK to proceed with any internal investigation of corruption in Ukraine that might also encompass former U.S. officials.  Yes, that would include Joe Biden.

From this context we can see how the “whistle-blower”, knowing only half of the information – might incorrectly perceive the conversation. Additionally, there’s a possibility the “whistle-blower” may be ideologically aligned with the same government entities that were trying to block the Ukrainian government from delivering the information in the first place.

Beyond the media, pundits and democrat politicians making fools of themselves, four very significant questions/issues become obvious:

  • (#1) who in the U.S. State Department Ukraine embassy was blocking the visas of Ukrainian officials, and why?
  • (#2) Who was the official at the New York office of the DOJ who took custody of the records hand-delivered by the American lawyer working on behalf of Ukraine?…. and
  • (#3) why were those records never turned over to Main Justice?…. Or
  • (#4) if they were turned over to Main Justice, why didn’t they inform the Trump administration they had received them?

At the end of this fake news narrative parade, these will be the questions that remain.

[Interview Transcript]

Q Mr. President, do you want to address this whistleblower story, sir?

Q Will you be asking — will you be asking —

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Wait a moment, please.

Q Do you want to address this whistleblower story?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: What story?

Q The whistleblower, whether it was (inaudible)?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It’s a ridiculous story. It’s a partisan whistleblower. Shouldn’t even have information. I’ve had conversations with many leaders. They’re always appropriate. I think Scott can tell you that. Always appropriate. At the highest level, always appropriate. And anything I do, I fight for this country. I fight so strongly for this country. It’s just another political hack job.

Q Mr. President, on that point, did you discuss Joe Biden, his son, or his family with the leader of Ukraine?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It doesn’t matter what I discuss. But I will say this: Somebody ought to look into Joe Biden’s statement, because it was disgraceful, where he talked about billions of dollars that he’s not giving to a certain country unless a certain prosecutor is taken off the case.

So, somebody ought to look into that. And you wouldn’t, because he’s a Democrat. And the Fake News doesn’t look into things like that. It’s a disgrace.

But I had a great conversation with numerous people. I don’t even know exactly who you’re talking about, but I had a great conversation with numerous people — numerous leaders. And I always look for the conversation that’s going to help the United States the most. That’s very important.

Q Mr. President, do you know the identity of the whistleblower? Do you know the identity of the whistleblower?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I don’t know the identity of the whistleblower. I just hear it’s a partisan person, meaning it comes out from another party. But I don’t have any idea. But I can say it was a totally appropriate conversation. It was actually a beautiful conversation.

And this is no different than — you know, the press has had a very bad week with Justice Kavanaugh and all of those ridiculous charges and all of the mistakes made at the New York Times and other places. You’ve had a very bad week. And this will be better than all of them. This is another one. So keep — so keep — so keep playing it up, because you’re going to look really bad when it falls. You know, I guess I’m about — I guess I’m about 22 and 0, and I’ll keep it that way.

Q Did you mention Joe Biden during the conversation though, Mr. President?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I don’t want to talk about any conversation, other than to say — other than to say: great conversation, totally appropriate conversation, couldn’t have been better. And keep asking questions and build it up as big as possible so you can have a bigger downfall.

Q Mr. President, on the whistleblower, have you read the complaint? Have you read the complaint of the —

PRESIDENT TRUMP: No, I haven’t. It’s — it’s —

Q Who in your White House has?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I just tell you, it is — everybody has read it and they laugh at it. And it’s another —

Q But you haven’t read it?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It’s another media disaster. The media has lost so much credibility in this country. Our media has become the laughingstock of the world.

When you look at what they did to Justice Kavanaugh and so many other things last week, I think this is one of the worst weeks in the history of the fake news media. You have been wrong on so many things and this one will be — I wouldn’t say it will top the list, because I think you can’t do worse than some of the stories you missed over the last week or two, but the media of our country is laughed at all over the world now. You’re a joke.

Okay, what else?

Q Mr. President, (inaudible) clarify: When you talk about the conversation that you —

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Which conservation?

Q Well, we’re trying to figure out what conversation you’re —

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Well, figure it out. You’re supposed to be the media. Figure it out.

Q July 25th? Was it July 25th?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It was — which conversation?

Q Was it July 25th, with the President of Ukraine?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I really don’t know. I don’t know.

Q Should Congress see the complaint and the transcript of your call to clear any confusion?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: There is nothing. It’s nothing.

Q Should Congress see it?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: There’s nothing.

  1. BitterC says:

The IC IG, Michael Atkinson’s role in this has puzzled me since he apparently gave the “whistleblower” credibility.

Before becoming IG, Mike became the Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General – NSD in July 2016. So he served John Carlin, Mary McCord, Dana Boente, until John Demers was appointed in Feb 2018.

He could very well be a part of the cabal, or at least had some knowledge of the questionable goings on.

How convenient for the coup plotters to now have him as the IG

  2. So, are people losing their jobs for this? In the State Dept and DOJ?

I am now thinking that the reason that talking head Mudd was so upset when he was on CNN is that he knew this idiotic “whistleblower” would blow up the spying ring going on and the resistance to the POTUS…I can’t figure out if the”whistleblower” is an idiot or just a moron. Ditto Nancy Pelosi.

This story to me is both stunning AND Frightening at the same time.

Stunning & Frightening because it exposes much of the depth & extent of the Deep State currently active in the CIA, State Dept AND DOJ.

If President Trump had ANY doubts about the size/existence of this swamp creature, he now knows that this “Nessie” not only exists but it is MASSIVE & STARVING to get him out of office!!

At the same time how can We the People not openly wonder:
How & what is Sec of State Pompeo going to do to immediately start eradicating State of these Swamp creatures in his own massive Dept that are STILL actively working for the Deep State?

How & what is AG William (Candy?) Barr CURRENTLY DOING to clean out DOJ?? While I concede that maybe, just MAYBE there is some covert action taking place (I pray), with this news now out, I cannot help but wonder if Barr’s actions are too little/too late?

CIA now seems to be more focused on spying on Preside Trump than doing its job!! Damn it!! the spy who is the whistle blower here SHOULD be identified, brought in to testify to Congress & then promptly arrested/frog-marched with a 1-way ticket to GITMO!!

This spying/listening in on President Trump’s telephone conversations (surely it did NOT start/stop with the call to Ukraine) is to me nothing short of TREASON!!

And finally, to the Media, I award them a flaming bag of sh*t flown in directly from San Francisco. Thank you Media for brining this story to light & foolishly trying to make it about President Trump. In your haste/HOT (hatred of Trump)/downright stupidity, you have alerted the world to the ongoings of the Deep State + the shocking suppression of evidence that the Ukraine has been TRYING to bring forward.

Media;,you are all DDS (Dumber than dog you-know-what).

No, don’t think it’s obama trying to push Biden out. All that would take is a conversation and a withdrawal due to medical reasons.

Publicly destroying your own party’s front runner contaminates the party. Not likely a DNC inside job.

I’ve maintained that Biden is the ice breaker for Clinton to secure the nomination. Biden wins the public polls based on institutional name recognition, then the primaries, then goes to the convention and selects Clinton as VP. The rematch then goes the distance, hoping they win so that Biden can exit with a medical discharge. Hillary then owns the joint, and all the players are doled out their patronage.

“The contracted American lawyer hand-delivered the information to the U.S. Department of Justice in New York.” This can be narrowed down for us here at CTH, which NY DoJ office received the information?? Gee .. wonder if it was SDNY. AG Barr now has just cause to clean out at least 1 of the DoJ offices in NY, if he has the inclination to do so.

PDJT and Giuliani are working with Ukraine to investigate criminal acts (coup/conspirators against the U.S.).

Multiply PDJT and Giuliani working with Ukraine X’s 1000 = what PDJT is doing secretly in planning the prosecutions of all criminals involved in this coup (Conspiracy).

PDJT is 100% responsible and has a duty to ensure everyone involved in this coup/conspiracy to remake the United States to become a 3rd world country by eliminating the Rule of Law to destroy the U.S. Constitution. The Globalist Constitution would replace the U.S. Constitution.

The Chamber of Commerce, Business Round Table, Rinos, Democrats, Media, upper management of the FBI/DOJ etc. has allegedly betrayed the American people, their oath of office and the U.S. for their own personal gain by joining the Globalist.

Multiply these now known facts show to the America People by PDJT times 1,000; is what We the People do not see and would be horrified if the People actually knew what can happen to 99% of the American People if PDJT wasn’t the President and going to prosecute everyone involve in the Coup/Conspiracy.

This is a Legal Civil War and the loser will disappear forever.

PDJT has strategically for 3-years set the perfect stage for voluminous prosecutions.

PDJT has strategically altered his plan (delayed) for Justice since Nov. 2016 (like any war), for the benefit of building many solid criminal cases allowing for everyone involved in the coup (Conspiracy) to destroy themselves by adding to the mountains of paper/digital and conflicting statements for easy prosecutions.

The pouring out of criminal acts has been revealed for the past 3 years and now the criminal acts evidence are starting to pour out daily. All this did not happen by accident; that would be like the Universe and Earth just happened by accident.

PDJT will implement his 3-years plan and prosecute everyone involved in this coup and conspiracy, thus saving himself, his family, the Rule of Law, Constitutions and the American People.

    Short Version-
Pro-Clinton holdovers in the Dept. of State obstructed justice to prevent the reformist Ukraine Government from providing evidence to the Mueller investigation about actual Clinton-Russian actions to interfere in the 2016 elections.

When the reformist Ukraine Government DID provide the information, Pro-Clinton holdovers in the NY DOJ obstructed justice and hid the evidence of Clinton-Russian conspiracy so it wouldn’t reach the Mueller investigation.

Pro-Clinton holdovers in the NSA were spying on the President; when they overheard that DOS and DOJ obstruction of justice was about to reach the President.
They filed a whistleblower complaint and leaked this information, likely to Schiff

    This may explain “imminent concern”:
In situations where the whistleblower faces discipline, the leak is upgraded to “Imminent Concern”. Issues of “imminent concern” are reported to Congressional oversight. So, if you illegally leak information to Democrats and THEN claim to be a whistleblower, you can invoke “imminent concern” to legally get that information over to Congressional Democrats.

Here, by denying the “imminent concern” route, Trump has set up a mole-hunt-
Imagine a Congressional Democrats who is now stuck with felony-level-leaked-classified material, and no way to ret-con how they got the material.

No wonder Shiff is pushing so hard for this – the longer it sits, the more time to track down the illegal dissemination of classified information.

Could this be a way of “pulling a thread” and letting the media do the story they SHOULD be doing?
I also noted his comments on the –stories they missed–when watching the press briefing. Thought that was interesting. As much as I despise special counsels, I think it is now time for Barr to appoint one to investigate a conspiracy with Ukraine to interfere in the 2016 election.

Seems to me an opportunity to turn the narrative from PDJT to the Obama admin, Clinton, and the Democrat Party.

DOJ cannot investigate as they were involved which represents a conflict of interest, among other obvious reasons.

This is the opportunity to take away the “election interference” narrative from the Democrats and put where it belongs, on the Democrats and Obama admin.

Will Barr & the Republicans step up to the plate?

The whistleblower is perhaps taking Sue Gordon’s culture of sharing a little too literally… “And it’s sharing it openly and being involved in the conversations.”. I don’t think a way to build trust with the American people is for the spy agencies to be involved in presidential conversations.

Why didn’t the intelligence community brief Trump in early 2016 about counterintelligence threats then, hmmm? They are so political. They have been acting like a fourth branch of government for awhile.

Another example was the release of an unclassified report on Russian election interference, said Gordon.

“I’m proud of the intelligence community assessment on the 2016 election that was published unclassified. That was a huge leap,” she said. “What it did was, it shared information. And we are doing great things with the private sector to talk about counterintelligence threats. And it’s with no ask. It’s just sharing it. And it’s sharing it openly and being involved in the conversations. So I think our conversation with the American people is really helping the trust.”

Timelines are important to understanding most of these incidents. In this case, the “whistle blowing” began several months ago, when the stories of Biden’s son’s possible use of his father’s position as VP for personal gain were reintroduced. The “Biden blackmailing the Ukraine to stop investigation of his son” story could be devastating to Biden’s campaign. The “whistle blowing” was probably seen as a way to undermine the credibility of that story, by making it look as though it was fabricated at Trump’s insistence. It was another insurance policy. As the Biden Blackmail story has seemingly dropped off the radar, there was no reason to release this whistle blower report now, In fact, it is counterproductive for the Biden campaign. So, what happened?

Two very important things have happened recently. The first is that the Biden campaign appears to be tanking. Joe is rapidly losing appeal as President, or even a Presidential candidate. So, he is now expendable in the Get Trump universe. The second thing is that the impeach Trump movement has experienced significant and serious setbacks. It has failed to gain ANY traction in
Congress, at all. Nadler is a joke. And Cummings is coming up dry in his committee. So, in desperation the “Get Trump” movement tries to feed this “whistle blower” BS to the House to use as a club against the administration. In the end, it will only end up hurting Joe Biden. But, the Establishment wrote him off several weeks ago, as proven by the “You don’t have to do this, Joe,” Obama leak. Now, in a more Machiavellian vein, this could also be a way for the Establishment to force Biden out of the race. It gets complicated on the other side of the looking glass.

Now, the most interesting thing about this story is that the current administration is sitting on the info. Remember, this will ultimately only reflect badly on Biden, no one else. So, the question then becomes is that action a way to protect Biden, personally? Is it a means of allowing Biden to stay in the race as an eventual disruptor? Is it being held in reserve for later use, should Biden become the nominee? Or is it simply Trump being his usual pragmatic, non-ideological self? A lot to think about here.

Actually, the move by the US Embassy predates the breaking story about the Biden Family. I suspect the Ukrainian Administration, then governing the Ukraine, tried to either buy President Trump’s support or it was a 2-for operation whereby Joe Biden gets ratted out and the President is caught “buying” information to influence elections after the Embassy leaks the story.

Saint Obama and Ms. Hillary are at risk in this whole story.

Do not discount the unrealizable US Embassy staff in the Ukraine as being part of the “whistleblower” story.

Donald Trump wasn’t the only presidential candidate whose campaign was boosted by officials of a former Soviet bloc country.

Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.

Manafort’s work for Yanukovych caught the attention of a veteran Democratic operative named Alexandra Chalupa, who had worked in the White House Office of Public Liaison during the Clinton administration. Chalupa went on to work as a staffer, then as a consultant, for Democratic National Committee. The DNC paid her $412,000 from 2004 to June 2016, according to Federal Election Commission records, though she also was paid by other clients during that time, including Democratic campaigns and the DNC’s arm for engaging expatriate Democrats around the world.

In the email, which was sent in early May to then-DNC communications director Luis Miranda, Chalupa noted that she had extended an invitation to the Library of Congress forum to veteran Washington investigative reporter Michael Isikoff. Two days before the event, he had published a story for Yahoo News revealing the unraveling of a $26 million deal between Manafort and a Russian oligarch related to a telecommunications venture in Ukraine. And Chalupa wrote in the email she’d been “working with for the past few weeks” with Isikoff “and connected him to the Ukrainians” at the event.

Isikoff, who accompanied Chalupa to a reception at the Ukrainian Embassy immediately after the Library of Congress event, declined to comment.

In my opinion, they could not establish an investigation that was credible at that late date. Too little…too late. Too political.

And so when it happened, Isikoff was like, “Oh my gosh.” He called me, and I said, “Yes, and did you see the email that mentions the two of us?” Because it says in the email that I invited Michael Isikoff to this Library Congress event to meet with these Ukrainian-American journalists. I directed him to the emails, and then I said, “Look at the attachment.” The attachment was basically exactly that, the state-sponsored. And he ran this story, because he called Yahoo and he confirmed that was a very serious hacking attempt that’s reserved for only certain high-level intrusions that are very scary. It’s a very scary type of threat on your email. So he ran the story, and then the FBI responded about an hour later and said that they were now investigating and realize that this breach may have gone to more than just the committee’s, but your personal accounts. A few weeks later, I believe it was the New York Times broke the story that it was about a hundred political operatives that had been targeted with their emails like this with state-sponsored attacks, and that included Podesta.

But when they (the Russians) said they would would come and testify, the Deep-State went into crises mode. So the Democrats quickly recanted their accusations and tried to hush the specifics. Keep in mind as all this is transpiring. The only People President Trump can fire, without cause are those he appoints. All the (caugh caugh) “professional staff” have a long drawn out process protecting them from summary dismissal and/or replacement.

So, now its a choice between the President and those who support him moving forward and remove evil doers as they are identified or close down the agency to clean house 1 position at a time (which means NO work gets done and nothing moves forward). AG Barr and the Secretaries as well as other appointees within each cabinet department live with this dilemma each day. So, keep this major mitigating circumstance in mind as you criticize Executive Branch leaders.

Is it frustrating? Yes it is and the natural tendency is blame leadership. Yet, in the case of the government, the “leadership” has to deal with and function with the hand they are dealt on day 1.

Most, if not all of the “resistance” have been appointed by obama to the “Senior Executive Service”, which is protected from termination. So, the “resistance” is self-identified, and “concentrated” in the SES. Transfer all the “SES” agency employees to newly-rented “headquarters” in Gary Indiana. It is only, say, 4,000 people, total. They keep all their pay and “benefits”. They get moving expenses. Transfer FBI chief Wray there, too, to protect them. Gary, Indiana needs the income influx, which would be great for this downtrodden city devastated by the loss of steel-mill and manufacturing jobs. And, the transferred SES employees will have a chance to learn firsthand, what their government policies have done to cities like Gary, Indiana.

Assign all the SES employees to use their protected “extreme government expertise” to write memos, to make recommendations to improve their Agency. This is a 2-year assignment. Their reports are due in 2 years, at which time, the reports will be reviewed by outside “Czars”.

The transferred SES employees will have full telephone facilities, so non-SES employees remaining in place at the Agencies can call them to ask questions, (to get the benefit of their great expertise….). In the meantime, have all the remaining Agency employees (who likely do all the actual non-political work of the Agencies anyway) carry on, as PDJT and his Cabinet direct them.
