President Trump Warns Media They are Embarrassing Themselves With “Whistleblower” Story…

Earlier today in the oval office President Trump was questioned about the intelligence “whistleblower” story.  The President warned media they are setting themselves up for another fake news embarrassment:

[Transcript Below]

[Transcript on “Whistleblower”]

Q Mr. President, do you want to address this whistleblower story, sir?

Q Will you be asking — will you be asking —

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Wait a moment, please.

Q Do you want to address this whistleblower story?

Q The whistleblower, whether it was (inaudible)?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It’s a ridiculous story. It’s a partisan whistleblower. Shouldn’t even have information. I’ve had conversations with many leaders. They’re always appropriate. I think Scott can tell you that. Always appropriate. At the highest level, always appropriate. And anything I do, I fight for this country. I fight so strongly for this country. It’s just another political hack job.

Q Mr. President, on that point, did you discuss Joe Biden, his son, or his family with the leader of Ukraine?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It doesn’t matter what I discuss. But I will say this: Somebody ought to look into Joe Biden’s statement, because it was disgraceful, where he talked about billions of dollars that he’s not giving to a certain country unless a certain prosecutor is taken off the case.

So, somebody ought to look into that. And you wouldn’t, because he’s a Democrat. And the Fake News doesn’t look into things like that. It’s a disgrace.

But I had a great conversation with numerous people. I don’t even know exactly who you’re talking about, but I had a great conversation with numerous people — numerous leaders. And I always look for the conversation that’s going to help the United States the most. That’s very important.

Q Mr. President, do you know the identity of the whistleblower? Do you know the identity of the whistleblower?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I don’t know the identity of the whistleblower. I just hear it’s a partisan person, meaning it comes out from another party. But I don’t have any idea. But I can say it was a totally appropriate conversation. It was actually a beautiful conversation.

And this is no different than — you know, the press has had a very bad week with Justice Kavanaugh and all of those ridiculous charges and all of the mistakes made at the New York Times and other places. You’ve had a very bad week. And this will be better than all of them. This is another one. So keep — so keep — so keep playing it up, because you’re going to look really bad when it falls. You know, I guess I’m about — I guess I’m about 22 and 0, and I’ll keep it that way.

Q Did you mention Joe Biden during the conversation though, Mr. President?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I don’t want to talk about any conversation, other than to say — other than to say: great conversation, totally appropriate conversation, couldn’t have been better. And keep asking questions and build it up as big as possible so you can have a bigger downfall.

[…] Q Mr. President, on the whistleblower, have you read the complaint? Have you read the complaint of the —

PRESIDENT TRUMP: No, I haven’t. It’s — it’s —

Q Who in your White House has?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I just tell you, it is — everybody has read it and they laugh at it. And it’s another —

Q But you haven’t read it?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It’s another media disaster. The media has lost so much credibility in this country. Our media has become the laughingstock of the world.

When you look at what they did to Justice Kavanaugh and so many other things last week, I think this is one of the worst weeks in the history of the fake news media. You have been wrong on so many things and this one will be — I wouldn’t say it will top the list, because I think you can’t do worse than some of the stories you missed over the last week or two, but the media of our country is laughed at all over the world now. You’re a joke.

Okay, what else?

Q Mr. President, (inaudible) clarify: When you talk about the conversation that you —

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Which conservation?

Q Well, we’re trying to figure out what conversation you’re —

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Well, figure it out. You’re supposed to be the media. Figure it out.

Q July 25th? Was it July 25th?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It was — which conversation?

Q Was it July 25th, with the President of Ukraine?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: I really don’t know. I don’t know.

[…]  Q Should Congress see the complaint and the transcript of your call to clear any confusion?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: There is nothing. It’s nothing.

Q Should Congress see it?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: There’s nothing.

I wish President Trump would say more…As far as i’m concerned…If a treasonous act is not to be found, and its just someones concerned about his policy…A sitting US president was spied on by the intelligence community. He should say that in every tweet

We don’t want him appearing histrionic and whiny like the emotional “thinking” lunacrats do we?

      Surely not! 😀

So Obama can use FISA and FBI agents against Trump campaign officials while he is running against Hillary-

But President Trump asking the Ukrainians to investigate corruption in their own country (that may implicate a Biden) is illegal?

Nope. That’s not how this is gonna go.

These media types, the ones who set themselves up like the woman we heard continuing to ask about Biden doesn’t seem to care that she is exposing Biden and his son’s dealings with Ukraine.
A 6th grader would have figured that out after the recent Kavanaugh flub.

By now, news execs must know that aside from massive voter fraud, POTUS will be reelected. So where is the benefit? Click bait $?

PT set up the media so bad with this doozy. Talk about setting the hook for click-bait. Now the whole Ukraine deal with Biden’s son will finally get exposed to the masses and beyond the wonks.

Mole hunt plain & simple…… They MUST out the whistleblower in order to give any credence to the allegation. WITHOUT A CREDIBLE “SOURCE” THE ALLIGATION REMAINS SIMPLY THAT….AN ALLIGATION WITH NO SUBSTANCE & NO WAY TO CONFIRM THAT IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED…

When it turns out the whistleblower is “Blowing” secondhand info it will be simple to trace back to the actual leaker…..LOL

I have said in the past that anonymous sources should be completely ignored (along with their stories or allegations) until the source comes forward & proves that they are actually in a position to substantiate the allegation.

Response statements should be…..”we are unaware of any of the allegations put forth. The anonymous source must present themselves & provide proof that they are indeed privy to the allegation. being made before we can respond to any further questions …”

    Lurking Lawyer here.
Pelosi has come out with a statement saying DNI is breaking the law on this whistleblower complaint and, that Trump is therefore breaking the law by supporting him. More ‘peach foty fi’.

EXCEPT the written Pelosi statement is factually false. WSJ covered this when Schiff first subpoenaed Acting DNI for the whistleblower complaint. WSJ provided a link to the DNI general counsel’s letter reply to Schiff’s subpoena, which sets forth the actual law. I just read it again.

The law is that if the ICIG finds an IC whistleblower complaint is of ‘urgent concern’, it must be provided to the HPSCI (Schiff). The ICIG apparently told Schiff this was of urgent concern to him. But that is not the actual law and the ICIG is apparently antiTrump just wrong.

The ‘urgent concern’ law cited by the DNI GC is 50USC§33033(k)(5). ‘Urgent concern’ involves “serious allegations relating to the funding, administration, or operation of an intelligence activity under the ultimate responsibility of the DNI”.

Now other leaks say the whistleblower complaint is apparently about POTUS discussing Biden corruption with Ukraine’s new president, Zelensky. (The other Dem spin on this kerfuffle is POTUS interfering with Dem nomination (get Biden via Ukraine), just stupid because of what Biden has previously openly bragged about, as PDJT pointed out at the presser.) Pelosi and Schiff’s problem is that such a PDJT call has nothing to do with IC, and is not within the responsibility purview of ODNI. So the Pelosi statement about breaking the law is more Dem utter nonsense.

When is President Trump going to get his intelligence briefing on Joe Biden and the Ukraine. Does Rudy Guiliani have to do all the work? It seems that the Obama intelligence agencies should have briefed president elect Trump on Biden’s Ukraine problem when they were briefing him on the dossier.

Joe Biden discusses alleged Trump-Russia ties
    JANUARY 12, 2017

“We asked that question,” Biden said. “Their argument was that this is something that the press already had. Not just here in the United States but other places. That it would be — they would be — they didn’t use the word derelict, but it was their obligation to inform not only us but the President-elect that this was out there so that it didn’t come out of the blue and have any impact on the conduct of our foreign policy.”

What Will Ukraine Do Without Uncle Joe?
Vice President Joe Biden led the administration’s support of Ukraine. But Kiev worries whether the next White House will have its back as Putin looks to ramp up pressure.
    OCTOBER 30, 2016

With Biden’s tenure as vice president about to expire, the next U.S. president will have to decide who will take up his unique role as Kiev’s go-to guy. The transition comes at a pivotal moment for the festering war in Ukraine, America’s increasingly tense rivalry with Russia, and Europe’s growing fatigue with Kiev’s incessant corruption.

With the warning he gave the press today. I have to wonder if he

he releases for all to see.

Wow the ultimate hypocrisy from Joe Biden, I guess he “forgot” that he actually did black mail Ukraine and was dumb enough to brag about it on tape. Me thinks this may have been a “the news is fake, the leaks are real” scenario devised specifically to get Biden out. Only time will tell.

I heard Mark Levin say on the radio that the WSJ article says there was no quid pro quo in Trump’s conversation with Ukraine. I don’t have a subscription to WSJ and can’t see the article. Maybe we can talk sundance or someone to post the text of what Mark Levin is talking about.

This Fox article links to the WSJ story, but I don’t see in the Fox article where it says there was no Quid Pro Quo discussion.

    • tozerbgood8315 says:

In the Fox article… “The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that, in a July phone call, Trump repeatedly asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to work with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani on a probe into Hunter Biden. The call came a month before Trump put a hold on $250 million in military aid to Ukraine — a hold that was eventually released after objections from the Senate.”

But the whistleblower claims is that Trump made some sort of promise, but the Fox article makes no mention of it.

    • tozerbgood8315 says:

Ah… turns out I was able to read the WSJ article and here is the link text

“President Trump in a July phone call repeatedly pressured the president of Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden ’s son, according to people familiar with the matter, urging Volodymyr Zelensky about eight times to work with Rudy Giuliani on a probe that could hamper Mr. Trump’s potential 2020 opponent.

“He told him that he should work with [Mr. Giuliani] on Biden, and that people in Washington wanted to know” if his lawyer’s assertions that Mr. Biden acted improperly as vice president were true, one of the people said. Mr. Giuliani has suggested Mr. Biden’s pressure on Ukraine to fight corruption had to do with an investigation of a gas company for which his son was a director. A Ukrainian official this year said he had no evidence of wrongdoing by Mr. Biden or his son Hunter Biden.

Mr. Trump in the call didn’t mention a provision of U.S. aid to Ukraine, said this person, who didn’t believe Mr. Trump offered the Ukrainian president any quid-pro-quo for his cooperation on any investigation.”

As Gregg Jarrett has pointed out, you can’t have a whistleblower if that blowers (hehe) agency isn’t effected by the alleged misconduct. PDJT asking another nations leader to possibly investigate a crime committed by a US citizen doesn’t effect our intel agencies.

I still think this was a hastily planned backup “scandal” after the earlier “asset pulled from Russia” hoax fell apart as soon as it was hatched. The left has a playbook and damnit, they’re not gonna allow that pre-planned narrative they arranged with the media to get sidetracked due to things like truth and honesty.

As usual over the din of mental illness the obvious often goes almost completely unasked, let alone even contemplated by most in this Country. The fact that someone was again spying on the President (a crime along with leaking it) listening on a conversation with a foreign leader. Witness also PDT’s calls with Australia and also Mexico and only G_d knows who/what else. Both instances shrieked to hell by Bezos Blog Predicated as a 1A right of course.

This is time another False Flag which Mark Levin terms as “Pseudo Events”. Meanwhile over at cult marx central, things aren’t going too well with their slate of candy dates. For McCabes part? He’s got nothing but praise for whoever fed it to Schiff always eager to felch for his 4th estate. No words for this Punk McCabe. I’d volunteer to hang him. Hand over hand. Co-me, clapper, brennan as well/at least. And they’ll all walk with not one (1) Day served. Fed to the normies by Barr & Co. as a big Koombaya cloaked as: “time to move the country on to healing” or similar Outrage. And again, the normies will buy it then go back to soul sucking preoccupations like “Dancing With the Stars”, their beloved “smart” phones, Mocha Lattes with “natural sugar”, “soccer mom” activities, shopping on-line at home in their “puppy pants”, and of course subsidizing the final days of their own demise watching National Felony League Games”. Won’t end well. Promise.

Why does the news media and the IG overlook the glaring fact that Vice President Biden was using $1 BILLION in American foreign aid as extortion to stop a criminal investigation of his son for bribery and demanding that the prosecutor be fired in exchange for our money? It’s like the drug crazed Black teenager that crashed a stolen car through the front of a Ford Dealership in Texas then stomped in the hoods of dozen new cars and attacked the first police officer who arrived at the scene refusing to obey repeated orders to stop…then was shot. The officer was fired and prosecuted. The entire debacle by the high school football player was forgotten. It was like it never happened. The only thing that happened was a White police officer shot an “unarmed” Black teenager!

  27. trnathens says:

Ok, I haven’t read all the comments to see if someone has already posited this theory, but here goes:

The whistleblower is a Trump plant. The urgent matter IS Biden’s corruption. It’s a setup. Listen to what Trump is saying. He’s totally playing with the kittens, waving his red dot around, and they’re dutifully following, making bigger and badder predictions about what Trump did, and how bad it is, and oh. my. god. Can you believe this man is allowed to breath AIR!

All the while, when it comes out, it’s gonna be all about Biden, and how bad he was, and how he did exactly what he accused Trump of doing, and the promise? It’s gonna be something innocuous. Like Trump said, a lot of people listen in. Who could this person possibly be, except a plant, to get the Biden information out in a way that is devastating to Biden, implicates the MSM, and is irrefutable.

But then again, I repeat myself.

    • That’s a very interesting theory, but quite honestly “I don’t think that Trump gives a damn about Biden.” Why should he? He simply does not play the usual “anti-perceived-opponent Washington DC politics,” because he doesn’t have to. To my way of thinking, the Democrats have not yet produced one single credible candidate against him. They have only offered “poll-driven, navigate-by-weathervane nothingburgers,” and they do not yet seem to even realize that they have a problem.

Joe & Hunter Biden’s problems are strictly of their own making. Biden was able to strong-arm on behalf of his son when he had Obama guarding his back, but he really should have no beef when faced with a successor-President who happens not to think like his former boss did. He made this bed, and he now just might have to lie in it. “C’est la guerre.”

      • Maybe PDJT’s strategy is picking one “Summer’s Eve Feminine Wash” (from the prior administration) off at a time. Creepy Joe is low hanging fruit. If the polls are close to correct, Joe’s ousting may keep many dims home on Election Day.??
When attempting to analyze someone far smarter, I find it helpful to write things out and see how they hold up over time. This comment could turn out to be dumb. But hey, I’m a nameless, faceless internet poster.

    Oh how I can’t wait…
The altimate take down is coming.
There ain’t enough corn in Iowa for the popcorn demand that is coming.
    The Game plan…

    Stage One:
First, let the media get ahead of themselves, let the ‘resist we much’ camp start counting their chicken before they hatched. Them get it all out ahead of themselves. Let ’em fill in whatever blanks fit the narrative engineers needs.

    Stage Two:
Wait, wait let ’em get the rank and file all worked up in a blather, let ’em call for Impeachment, let take to the streets. Whatever, it takes to get this so called pro quid quo request for another Nation to influence our coming election. Let it build up to Consituitional Crisis.

    Stage Three:
The Attorney General of the United States is requesting all broadcast Networks for an announcement of National Importance. Again, let the media speculate to their hearts content that he is about to repudiate the President.
With heart stopping anticipation AG Barr takes the stage…
“Over the last few weeks ‘Phonegate’ has once again displayed the wildest of speculation to drive partisan political divisions. Tonight, I am going to speak to the Truth, “Yes, the President, asked the Ukrainian President to investigate the corruption surrounding the personal enrichment of the former VP’s son. It is a matter of public record, that Mr. Biden publically proclaimed to the Ukraine’s media, “What the current resident of People’s House now stands accused.” In that regard there is no dispute. However, Tonight… In the interests of all Americans, “Let me be clear, the President did ask for the Ukrainians to reopen an investigation. Having said that, when the Ukrainian President responded back with no desire to become involved in our domestic affairs.
“The President responded back, “As it should be, as it should be.”
(AG Barr then gets out his bag pipes and walks off the stage)

The next day IG Horowitz’s FISA investigation report hits the Nation smack in the face. To be followed up with the President ordering AG Barr to declass everything.
