Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Doug Collins and Intel Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes appear on Fox News to discuss their perspective on Robert Mueller, the issues revealed by the testimony, and the behind-the-schemes maneuvers of the democrats on both committees. It’s an interesting dual-interview.

I don’t want to hear from “fiscal conservatives” who didn’t say peep when GOP had control for 2 yrs and blew up the deficit.
Let Trump reform trade and immigration and rebuild our military. This budget allows him to build the Wall (through defense budget) and rebuild our military and removes the Dems attempt to affect the economy in any way with these silly debt ceiling and government shutdown fights.
Besides, it’s a good campaign issue to run against Dems. Win-win all around for Trump 2020! MAGA!!

Agreed with everything except first paragraph. We must stop reinforcing the fiction that the GOP was in control for two years. Lying/RINO/Ryan was effectively in charge, so the party in charge was the UNIPARTY.
What was passed during that time were the most important things in terms of budgets, tax cuts etc. they formed the base (superb economy) for all the winning since, and the current necessary compromise will supply the continuance from now to Nov 2020.

Thank you, Steve T. My take, FWIW: if it hadn’t been for RINO Ryan’s smug self-assurance as SOTH, his UNIPARTY loyalist proclivities might not have been exposed during POTUS DJT’s 1st Term of Office. Paul Ryan, as SOTH, gave himself, his Party, his national constituency, and his game AWAY, before calendar year 2017 had even run its course.
Did SOTH Ryan really believe that we voters are too stupid to see that he sold out every, single GOP voter in the Nation when he threw the 2018 election of House members to the Democrats?
He learned his lessons well from former Presidential Candidate RINO Mitt Romney, who has his own history of throwing a big election to the Democrats, er, to the benefit of the
DEM-GOP UNIPARTY.
Interesting… I cannot recall ever having seen a Dem throw an election to a GOP opponent. Gotta respect ‘em for at least that much.

I would add that for many issues, a simple majority is not enough when the Dems are 100% united and the R’s are somewhat a split caucus. Not to mention that some bills require a super-majority which Trump did NOT have. So R’s were not in full control for 2 years.
Hopefully we can fix that in 2020 and get a super-majority in both the House and the Senate and return President Trump to replace Ginsberg and Thomas on the Supreme Court..

Here is the reality that most nice heritage-Americans with our bewildered good will and desire to see everyone succeed just don’t get: the 1rst American republic is OVER. There is not a balanced budget and there is NEVER going to be a balanced budget for the remaining lifetime of the 1rst American republic. Almost half the people living inside our country are not part of the American nation, but belong to other nations, many of them deeply hostile to our way of life. Very few have any interest in assimilating to traditional American culture, and many are simply incapable of it anyway. This is to some extent not their fault because marxists and globalists are in control of the vast majority of the institutions that manufacture and disseminate culture.
Our elites are neither elite nor are they ours any longer. This latter point is why Pres. Trump decided to put himself through the hell to which he has been subjected. People like me have only read about these globalists and observe from a distance the suffering and death their greed and hatred have spread around the world. He has gone to their parties, met them, looked them in the eye and taken the full measure of their evil. Nothing makes thing more real than seeing directly with your own eyes.
We are ruled over by people who want us dead and gone so they can build a totalitarian multicultural empire on the soil of what used to be our land. They have fundamentally different objectives and hence spending priorities. There is nothing to compromise over, where we all collectively tighten our belts for the collective good. We are not in their collective. Your are either sitting at the communists table, or you are on their menu. They have ZERO interest in compromise. The best we can do at this point is give them what they want in exchange for what we need to prepare our people for inevitable dissolution and hopefully minimally uncivilized partition. That means providing funding to keep KNOWLEDGE inside the heads of OUR people, knowledge on how to build things, especially weapons, how to use them, how to operate a modern economy, etc, all the while working to awaken as many Americans as possible that we are in an existential civilizational war. Pres. Trump has moved the Overton window many times, always careful not to go too far because most people cannot handle more than a little unpleasant truth at a time.
@starfcker “to hear them spin like ordinary politicians when confronted was shameful.”
What else are they going to say? “Guys, our republic is hosed, and we literally cannot compromise with these people because they don’t want to compromise with us and would prefer us dead and gone.” The Overton window has not moved far enough yet.

Becky, I am going to respectfully disagree. I remember when the Republican party was out in the wilderness during the 60’s and 70’s. Then came Ronald Reagan. Thank God. Since Reagan, conservatives, Libertarians and right leaning independents have made tremendous advances throughout the USA. I know it looks hopeless at times but we really are winning. The flak is always heaviest over the target. The left and RINO’s would not be so frantic (batsh!t crazy) if they were not scared.
Look at the gun control laws, especially CCW. From the 80’s to today we have completely flipped the states to allow concealed carry in almost every state. Research how many Federal, state, county, Parish, and local municipalities have flipped from Democratic to Republican or Libertarian the last 30 years. Hundreds. There are just a few examples.
Yes, we still have a long way to go and we cannot take our eye off the ball for even one second. Most importantly we have to be vigilant and hold our politicians feet to the fire. If we relax for even one instant the RINO’s will go to the fallback position. Our pols need to know they must produce or get fired. Look at how many RINO’s gave up their seats and retired last election. They knew the free ride was over. Play the long game. We are now able to get some great conservatarians in the house and Senate. By quitting they gave us opportunity when they thought they were screwing us.
Make no mistake, we are winning, but the real fight is yet to come and we must be prepared. No more Marquis of Queensbury Republicans. Decorum is an old Republican word for bend over and grab ankles. This is a dam& street fight and if the current Republican politicians are not up to the task, fire their a** and get someone who is willing to do the dirty work.
We have some really great, smart Millennials coming up. The older millennials are kinda lost, but these in high school and just starting college are not buying into the free sh!t army narrative. Not all, but more than you think.

There has been some speculation that Mueller is in the early stages of dementia, based on his apparent confusion while testifying. If this is so, and if Nadler and his pals knew about it beforehand and still compelled his testimony then they are not just jerks, they are unspeakably cruel jerks. Of course it could be that Mueller was just trying to run the clock on the Republicans.

He’s probably been watching old clips from Vincent “The Chin” Gigante who faked insanity for years in order to avoid prosecution. Mueller knew EXACTLY what he was doing yesterday. There were no good answers to the questions that he was being asked so he put on the confused, feeble old man act to avoid having to explain the whole sordid scheme, just as his handlers instructed him to do.
Now, they will say, totally unbeknownst to them, poor Bob Mueller was evidently a very ill man and THAT’s why he didn’t find the obvious collusion, so therefore, we need a new Special Counsel to start the whole process over again!
I wish I was joking but nothing would surprise me at this point!!

Exactly. Anytime anyone is tempted to feel sorry for him, just ask yourself: why did the “senility” and confusion always err to botching the damning and incriminating facts, and never trip him up when confirming and emphasizing every ugly lie about the president volleyed up by the dems? He seemed to walk the line pretty damn well.
Frankly I’d buy it that he’s a bit of a sloppy lazy drunk, and probably didn’t have much to do with the report. But he knew the mission yesterday.

Paraphrasing an observation by Louie Gohmert, “The guy has lost a few rungs in his ladder.” As others here have aptly pointed out, the same evasive, duplicitous approach, but accompanied by signs of early onset dementia. Mueller remains a swamp denizen of the first order, but watching his testimony was cringeworthy. The Dems must have recognized this while prepping him and yet they proceeded. They reaped what they sowed. I believe Barr’s offer to shield Mueller from testifying was an effort to throw a former colleague a life preserver.

Is this a case where, at the rehearsal dinner, the bride’s family realizes that the prospective groom will not be good for the family so they rough him up where it can’t be seen, then tell him to bumble his way through the ceremony until the I do’s, say “I can’t” and walk out?
I really was wishing that I had the whole thing taped so I could have counted the “I’m not going to talk about that”s, the “that’s out of my purview”s, the stumbles and mumbles by party. It did seem, especially at the Judiciary hearing, that he spent more time asking to repeat the question or repeat the page number for Republicans than for Democrats. I just chalked that up to his having the script from the Democrats where his handlers could have penciled in the talking points for him. We know they had a dress rehearsal with Mueller. We know that Lawfare does not fairly practice the law (when you look up shyster in the dictionary, you find pictures of Lawfare employees coupled with the Socialist Democrat talking points). Sadly, we Conservatives sat back and allowed these Socialists to overrun the media, the education system, and now they are taking over the health care system. Unfortunately, when they complete the trifecta, the next step is not what they want to soften and call Democrat Socialism. Nope, we’ll be firmly in the throes of Communist Socialism. That’s what makes it so ironic that they chose Russia to make the Trump collusion lie.

On topic of Robert Mueller: Out of nearly 300,000 licensed US attorneys with federal criminal law expertise, I now know why Mueller was appointed by Rosenstein as Special Counsel. President Trump took his measure of Mueller’s physical and mental condition during the May, 2017 Oval Office meeting. The mystery of Mueller’s leaving his mobile phone at the White House security desk is answered. Mueller just forgot it. Any future abusive prosecution of President Trump for obstruction will need to overcome the clear evidence that the President had reasonable cause to replace Mueller during Mueller’s entire tenure because of Mueller’s lack of physical and mental capability to perform the job.

The lawyers/handlers sitting behind him including Zebley showed no sign of surprise when Mueller appeared confused or forgetful. They knew he was following the plan and that plan was to feign senility. I don’t doubt he appears older, slower and more frail, but that is not synonymous with senility. It was an act and almost everyone bought it in IMO. Even Collins and Nunes assume that incompetence of some sort is the reason he didn’t know what Fusion GPS is or that Strock was biased. You have to believe he was completely disconnected from the case to believe that. Even if he wasn’t following the daily progress it is beyond absurd to conclude he was unaware of basic case facts.

You have to think that the Durham investigation has these people on notice. They know there was nothing here but they continued the charade through the midterms in an effort to get the House and Senate so they could remove Trump. They failed to take the Senate and their entire plan failed. Now they are being investigated. I suspect Mueller was well aware of that and his culpability therein. He was part of the coup.
He wasn’t feigning senility. He was acting like he wasn’t aware of stuff so he could claim later during his trial he wasn’t aware this illegal coup was happening. He also was using a well known delaying tactic to limit the questions and the pain. He was aware that his job was to subtly point out instances of obstruction so the Dems could run with it but he was warned by Barr that if he said more than was written in the Weissman report, that would be evidence at his trial. It was a carefully developed construct to limit his exposure and he had to abandon the Dems strategic plan a little bit to protect himself.

There it is in a nutshell. Paul Ryan was a mistake of massive order. Conservatives should have known. If Ryan was chosen by a RINO to run for VP, he was not worthy to lead the House to represent Conservatives. The Republican caucus is still overrun with too many RINOs. Given the choice between a true Conservative and a RINO for majority leader, the caucus chose McCarthy. If he wants us to view him as conservative (not to be confused with Conservative), it is time for him to get a move on. A bone here or there won’t get it. 💯. Nothing less.

On the subject of North Korea I tend to agree with Coats whose analysis is grounded in sober realism. So far he was right on the money. NK does not want to give up their nukes. They want optics: talks and promises and handshakes in front of the cameras in exchange of lifting sanctions. Kim managed to significantly improve his image as a potential reformer and a “great leader” in the process, though, which was also his goal. Meanwhile, the only thing that changed is rhetoric. NK is still a brutal communist dictatorship with nukes, labor camps and starving population.
I think Kim wants to have his cake and eat it too. He wants trade, investments and development but at the same time he wants to retain his nukes to stay in power and remain relevant.
