Massive Victory for Conservative Nationalists in European Elections…

Polls are all closed.  Election results are beginning to come in fast.  The overall result in the European (EU) Parliamentary Election reflects massive gains for conservative nationalists in Italy, Greece, France, Poland, Hungary, Austria, U.K. and others…

Over 400 million people can vote in 28 countries, seven of which held ballots between Thursday and Saturday, with the remainder voting today, Sunday.

♦In France Marine Le Pen has defeated the party led by Emmanuel Macron. Exit polls in France indicated that Marine Le Pen’s far-right, anti-immigrant National Rally party came out on top in an astonishing rebuke of French President Emmanuel Macron, who has made EU integration the heart of his presidency (link).

♦In Greece Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is likely to call a snap general election in June, after the opposition party took the lead.

♦Poland’s ruling nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) party is expected to come first in the election with 42.4% of the vote.

♦Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, was expected to win 56% of votes, state television reported.

♦Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz leading with support for Kurz’s conservative People’s Party, at 34.5%.

♦In Italy Matteo Salvini’s far-right League is now emerging as Italy’s largest party, and the 5-Star Movement has lost a third of its voters over the course of a year.

♦Chancellor Angela Merkel’s governing coalition, the CDU/CSU, has lost multiple seats now dropping to a projected 28 (out of 96).

♦In the U.K. Nigel Farage Brexit Party is crushing the traditional political classes. With 100 of 373 counts complete, the brand new Brexit Party is in the lead with 31.9%, crushing the two largest parties,Conservatives and Labour, who are down 12-14% each so far.

American Patriots, please pray for us Canadian’s. We are seeking the same revolution up here. While the conservative leader is no Trump (n I wish) he will I think have the strength to turn the Drama queen out of office. Trump is changing the world. God’s man is having his effect. Please keep him in power for another term. Globalism is hanging by a thread. A second Trump term will cut the final thread. Them we Canucks can finally get you back as true friends and we can defend this beautiful continent together!

    • Recognize that your use of “conservative” does not mean the same thing that it means in Europe. The fact that the “conservative party” in Britain is being beat about the head and shoulders by the single-issue Brexit Party tells you that anyone who thinks that a revote would reverse Brexit is drreaming.

The new term is Nationalist/Populist, since they have perverted Conservative.

And, changing name is like 2 parties that won bigly in Britain and Netherlands, where party literally didn’t exist 6 weeks ago.

Like an “October surprise”, the party pops up, 6 weeks before the election, catches opposition with their pants down.

They don’t have time for opp research, smear campaign or infiltration. New tactic?

Canuck, Joan of Arc’s Day comes this Thursday. She was a patriot and lover of liberty too. Ask for her intercession and enlightening of the hearts and minds of Canadians from the North Pole to Vancouver and the Maritmes and across Quebec, Ontario, and the Praire Provinces. We will pray for your cause as well.

When the Brits forced the Acadians to Louisiana, we picked up tough people who kill gators, eat snakes, and save people in floods and hurricanes. She is their saint also.

In exchange, pray for us, and especially for President Trump, First Lady Melania, and their loved ones, and all who serve loyally the cause of America and of God. May they have courage, wisdom, boldness, and common sense, and be protected from harm. And likewise to the patriots of our land and yours.

I love your expression of working together for the defense and well-being of our North American Continent – may I add, while each North American nation preserves its own national sovereignty.

The EU Parliament election results this weekend are stunning. Our Father God continues to reach His Hand into the affairs of men, in a clearly visible and undeniable manner. The grand plans for the One World Order scheme seem to be experiencing interruption.

I think thats what happened to Roy Moore, Bannon; they were threatening exactly the same thing the TEA PARTY was threatenimg; to primary Republican incumbents. And, LOOK what happened to them!

You KNOW your over the, target when you get the greatest flac.
They KNOW, in the U.S. at least that the RepubliCON party is the biggest strength of the Uniparty, as long as they keep up their faux conservative illusion.
But, that if that illusion is PIERCED, and they are EXPOSED, it is hitting the Uniparty in their jugular.
And, that sounds like JUST whats happened in England.

        The entire western world?

More. True globalism is respect for all cultures, not melting them all into some Godless Statist vision of utopia. So not just the West – Trump is very popular in India. Remember the Indian community in Florida have him the nod. Modi is an India nationalist. And in Japan, the same with Abe. Trump is trying to separate N.K. from the yoke of
        China.

True globalism is respect for disparate cultures – going to India, Japan, Russia, China, France, Germany, Britan, etc… and seeing, enjoying and experiencing the positive and unique aspect of those nations.

To this end the principles of the Republic of the U.S.- weak central government and local – regional government and individual liberty, are a necessary yet forgotten component for a truly peaceful world.

It appears that Donald Trump is the catalyst that is inspiring this rejection of global statists, and this appreciation of national identity, not the identity of us against the world, but of appreciation of the disparate positive qualities of God’s children, related in many different nations.

Along with 250+ Christian leaders, I am asking followers of Christ across our nation to set aside next Sunday, June 2, as a special day of prayer for the President, Donald J. Trump.
President Trump’s enemies continue to try everything to destroy him, his family, and the presidency. In the history of our country, no president has been attacked as he has. I believe the only hope for him, and this nation, is God.
This is a critical time for America. We’re on the edge of a precipice. Time is short. We need to pray for God to intervene. We need to ask God to protect, strengthen, encourage, and guide the President.
We know that God hears and answers prayer. He can soften hearts and change minds. He is all-powerful, and He rules over the affairs of nations. The Bible instructs us to pray for those in authority, “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior” (1 Timothy 2:2–3).
On June 2, we ask that pastors would lead their congregations in praying for the President, that Sunday schools and other groups would join together and pray, and that individuals and families across the country would have a special focus on praying for the President that day.
Would you let me know in the comments below if you commit to pray with us? And will you share this on your social media platforms so that we can have as many people as possible praying?
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12)

God bless him! I doubt our Catholic parish will pray specifically for prez Trump during intercession but we normally pray at that timefor our nation’s leaders or lawmakers. And for about a year we’ve been reciting the prayer of St Michael the archangel where we ask him to defend us in battle against the wickedness and snares of the devil. • Tess, many bishops have asked that their congregations pray St. Michael’s prayer at the end of Mass. In Canada there are many parishes that pray it as well. It is also the practice at other Masses around the world.

I understand that the prayer was composed by Pope Leo XIII who was given a vision of a conversation between the devil and God in 1913 or thereabouts; the devil boasted that he could subjugate the world in a 100 years…God said go ahead, try; the 100 years are up, and the widespread evil has become so evident…Catholics had been asked by Leo XIII to pray the St. Michael’s prayer after every Mass, but in our hubris, we let the practise elapse.. in the 1960s or even before then, I think.

Even back in the 1970s – 1980s when I was travelling, I met a few ex-pats living abroad to escape their home country’s desire to take most of their hard earned wealth!

      Some things never change!

UKIP became nothing after Farage retired. It was the Brexit party. It failed to follow through. So the public discarded it. As it should be. A political party means nothing without trustworthy leadership. Did UKIP have that without Farage? No. But when he popped his head back up, you see the massive support he immediately got. Who here would wholeheartedly support the Republican party without Donald Trump?

Very confusing looking at all the parties involved in each country and who and what theu stand for. And the media reports are equally unhelpful. My rule of thumb is, if the media is unclear about election results, it likely means right of center parties are doing well. Otherwise they would be crowing about how poorly the right did and the rise of the left.

We need to recognize that Europe is doomed. It doesn’t work, the numbers are forbidding and the policies are suicidal.
When I was in Europe 40 years ago, I was always asked “How much vacation do you get?” They weren’t asking about work, only the amount of vacation. I was amazed at the consistent focus on vacations when, in the United States, James Fallows was telling us that we would fall behind Japan because they don’t take vacations.
At the same time, productivity in the U.S. and Europe began to diverge. Ours increased, and Europe decreased. Our economy brought on Intel, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook and dozens of other advantage-deliverers, producing things that everyone on the planet uses. Even Europeans.
Europe only brought on resentment of the United States for its success, and they practiced lecturing Americans that Europe is where design happens, although they design mostly 19th-century products and none of those digital tools.
The children of those Europeans 40 years ago have visited the United States, and they ask right away “How much vacation do you get?”. They are doomed.

So the question is: who are those unaffiliated/independent parties and what are their politics? I’m counting 359 for the left and 351 for the right, so they seem to hold the power, as little power as this election gives anyone.

Let’s not get too excited about this EU election results.
In the UK, the UKIP party has been destroyed. Their EU seats have all gone to Farage’s new party, the Brexit party.
UKIP used to have 24 seats. Brexit party has 29. Plus 5 seats.

The biggest losers were the Tory’s of Theresa May and Corbyn’s Labour Party. They lost a combined 25 seats.
Those 25 seats went mainly to the “remainer” parties, the Lib Dems and the Greens.

Although these elections will see many more anti-EU members in the European Parliament, they can’t do much because EU parliamentarians have very little power.
ALL THE POWER RESTS WITH THE UNELECTED COMMISARS. These commisars are appointed by the party in power in each EU member country i.e. Merkel, Macron call the shots.
Nothing much will change in Europe unless and until individual member nations swing towards anti-EU parties in their own elections i.e. more like Hungary, Austria and Italy.

The important thing here is the message that was sent.

Theresa May has gutted the Tories.
The BREXIT Party was the biggest winner.

The message has been delivered to the Conservatives.
If they do not back Boris Johnson and deliver a decidedly pro-British Brexit, which almost certainly means a No Deal Brexit, they will cease to exist.

    • If a major political-ideological shift happens in Western Europe, it has to start somewhere. We don’t know yet whether this populist moment will galvanize into a major movement, but this is what it looks like when it does happen.

        Not so fast.
Pro-Germania parties still have an iron grip on the EU.

The only thing that was actually accomplished is Nigel Farage sent a message to the Tories: DELIVER BREXIT OR DIE!

It was an important message that came at just the right time, and hopefully it has saved Brexit by putting the fear of God in dithering Conservatives. But as for business as usual on the continent, nothing meaningful will come out of tonight’s results.
