The Beginning of The End – MSNBC Reporting Senate Democrats Agree No Russian Collusion….

Mark the calendars; today is an important date.  CTH has noted, repeatedly, how extremely difficult it would be for the media to walk-back over three years of false reporting on the insufferable and manufactured “Muh Russia” collusion narrative.

However, remarkably, today that process actually begins.  WATCH:

.

There’s way more to this shift. WAY more. ABC News, home of the resistance insider operative George Stephanopoulos, is also starting to use an atypical process to control distribution of the let-down as they back toward the ‘muh Russia’ exits.

We don’t know that as a certainty. Some outlets are already reporting that Mueller does have a report and it describes DJT as being unfit to lead, and all of the same character smears we have heard and read for three years, etc etc etc. Of course that could very well be entirely fake news.

However if a report does exist, my first two (rhetorical) questions are – how will (soon-to-be AG) Barr treat it, and will he pursue and significantly penalize anyone for leaking the report to the media.

GB Bari, and my concern is the millions of dollars spent by Mueller to come up with nothing but going after others not even involved. How can we get that money back so it can be used for real items. I do think he will run and hide as no longer of use to the Clintons and you know what they do to anyone that might actually say anything about them. The picture above is a saver, so just copy it and watch as they are walked to the gallows for treason.

It would be very suspicious if Mueller’s report describes DJT as unfit to lead as that is conjecture and, if nothing else, Mueller will need to leave this assignment with a reputation intact as a fact finder and not a gossip. What evidence could he possibly have to point to this that would also NOT cast the same conjecture onto Obama’s hot mic moment with Putin’s number 2 and Hillary’s reset button and uranium one deal?

With Trumps’ approval at 52%, the dems are realizing they have, once again, misunderstood the American people.

I read the ABC interview with PDJT’s former attorney John Dowd and Dowd claims that Mueller hasn zero and thus won’t release any report – will simply “decline” (o prosecute) – a very standard procedure when no evidence or insufficient evidence exists to continue.

So that conflicts with the earlier reports. I guess time will tell. But Dowd handlded that interview very well IMO and did not obfuscate. He was pretty assertive about the status.

My money is on a report. It’s more politically damaging to Trump to have Mueller produce a report that has to be heavily redacted, or ultimately withheld by Barr. There will always be a doubt that Trump ordered his team to filter the “true” results of Mueller’s investigation.

Dowd said that when a investigation results in a declination, the accumulated information (“evidence”) cannot be subsequently publicized because that violates the Grand Jury secrecy laws. At least thats how I interpreted him.

            Here’s Dowd speaking –
No, but the rules of the department, just put yourself– put yourself in the president’s shoes. Let’s say we investigate you guys. And it comes out you’re a witness and a subject. You cooperate transparently. And we take all those facts. And we say, you know, “There’s nothin’ here.” The idea that you would take that information and make it public, you know, violates the whole concept of the grand jury. (NOISE) What’s the grand jury for? To protect the innocent. And by the way, I’ve read thousands of grand juries. And I– it does protect the innocent…

Transparently they’re waiting for Mueller to close up shop. This is more proof of what Sundance has been saying – that Mueller’s purpose has been to hold up the #SpyGate investigation.

When Mueller exonerates Trump, I believe Trump is going to declassify and unleash a torrent of fire against those who perpetrated this nightmare narrative against him.

Sundance is referring to the Senate Intel Committee. That doesn’t mean that Mueller won’t “find” something, although I suspect he won’t because I’m sure everything Mueller has would have been leaked to Senate Intel Committee dems by now.

I get what you’re saying – but Mueller won’t find anything, because there’s nothing to find. All they can do is dirty up the President by casting innuendo against those associated with him and snare them in process crimes.

Meanwhile, Mueller gets to hold witnesses and evidence involved in the illegal investigation into the Trump campaign. When Mueller goes away, all of this is unleashed.

The final report, if it’s delivered, will be full of innuendo. Gladly, the SC regulations require a report, but the AG can deliver that report in a different format. I think Barr will deliver a quick summary “The SC did not find any collusion and has concluded their investigation.”

By the way, this is why the Democrats want the report to be released (as learned in Barr’s confirmation hearings last month). They know Mueller will try to deliver it with as much innuendo as possible so to allow the media to continue the collusion narrative. But I think the next AG will simply take the report and hold a press conference declaring that Mueller found nothing and is closing up shop.

      • Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Here the issue isn’t “innocent until proven guilty” but what level evidence the government should require before they start surveillance of a presidential campaign of the rival party. “We were concerned or worried” doesn’t cut it. There has to be CREDIBLE EVIDENCE.

The damning thing about this whole episode is THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY DID NOT DEVELOP THE EVIDENCE RELIED UPON BY THE GOVERNMENT IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. The so-called “evidence” was developed by a contractor working for a dirty tricks operation supporting the other presidential campaign.

Their talking points will be “If there was collusion, the President is too sophisticated an actor ever to be caught.” Our talking point is “You didn’t have s**t at the beginning, and after two years you still don’t have s**t. You camouflaged spying on a presidential campaign as a counterintelligence operation. That is gross and criminal abuse of power”.

counterintelligence investigation is not a criminal investigation. Their is a different threshold of suspicion and lower bar needed to be met for doing it.

Note: it is legally dubious a special counsel can have a Counter intel investigative authority if Deputy AG gave him that authority their is no statue for it. As the special council law was passed pre 9/11 and did not take the Counter Intel changes into calculation and only covered criminal investigations.

For Muller to cover up Counter Intel corruption he would need to tie process crimes to the Counter Intel information gathered so it could then be turned into a criminal investigation somewhat similar to money laundering except instead of money it is evidence that is being washed and made legal.

It is a reason people have heavily criticized the patriot act because a Counter Intel investigations can very easily be abused. It was and now everyone is trying to cover it up because the ramifications is proving the critics right that the government should not have that type of ability as it is being completely misused and not properly limited or even controlled.

Few people realize how much investment went into the intel community post 9/11 and do to political misuse by Obama and corrupt followers that entire post 9/11 investment is threatened everyone apart of the post 9/11intel community has a vested interest in covering the misuse.

          • You said this: “counterintelligence investigation is not a criminal investigation. Their is a different threshold of suspicion and lower bar needed to be met for doing it.”

First, this isn’t just any “counterintelligence investigation”. This is a counterintelligence investigation of the rival political party’s presidential campaign. Any song-and-dance that the bar is significantly lower is hogwash.

In addition, the people involved were US citizens so there were safeguards to protect those citizens from government overreach. Those safeguards were not followed.

Further, this was a counterintelligence operation that was designed to morph into a criminal investigation so that Trump subordinates could be ensnared in process crimes at the very least. So one could say that the “counterintelligence investigation” designation was strategically used to initiate what was always intended to become a criminal justice investigation to skirt the necessity to demonstrate probable cause. That strategic use of a “counterintelligence operation” is not exonerating – it is a further abuse of power.

Criminal portion is the coverup. The investigation was never supposed to be discovered. When Trump won they had no choice as it could no longer be hidden.

Also the bar is lower in a counter Intel your not proving a crime your observing for a crime that “MAY” be committed. Much different justification is needed.

The safeguards for preventing what happened where ignored and the fact they where ignored is in fact a crime. LAWS where violated laws that the people who keep and prosecute the laws are supposed to follow. Hence now the coverup.

One reason for the muh russia narrative, was that FISA warrants can only be used, to investigate espionage or Terrorism.

To emphasize and clarify; think of the most horrendous crime you can; a Hanibal Lector psycopath, a child molester with 100’s of victims, who kills and eats his victims, whatever.

The Givernment CAN NOT get a Fisa warrant, to use to investigate. The Defendant is innocent till proven guilty, and entitled to all the protections our system extends to the accused.

By using muh russia, they could JUSTIFY FISA warrants, for the INITIAL investigation, during the campaign.

But, of coarse Hillary was going to win

After, they doubled down, and transferred the counter intel investigation to the SC, and morphed a counter intel investigation WITH a criminal investigation.

Hello, you can’t DO that. The Mueller team would have to have brick walls, running through their brains, to seperate information recieved thru the counter intel investigation, from informatiin recieved as a result of the CRIMINAL investigation.

              Its a criminal investigation.

              Its a counter intel investigation.

I think that something VERY ugly is about to come out on someone VERY high up on the Left and so the MSM is going into overdrive to get the Special Counsel done and out of the news. Then, when the other shoes drops, they can claim that all the investigations have been wrapped up and there is no reason to open them up again to rehash old stories. The Clintons did it over and over during while he was in office – they would drop one or two negative but vague, stories and then, when more info came to light, they would say it was “old news” and the media would talk about how angry the electorate was at the Right’s refusal to stop badgering the President and First Lady!

I’m often wrong about these things, but I wonder if the senators are calling an end to this because the whole phony investigation has exposed a lot of bad actors and has the potential (via declassification) to expose even more, going even higher in the food chain. Considering the fact that there is nothing to find, why would they continue at the risk of sacrificing the unexposed guilty parties?

Although the Mueller investigation is separate, I have long thought that it too would end with a whimper. Attorney Dowd’s comments are worth a listen; he basically thinks Mueller has humiliated himself and will slither off quietly. Jeff Sessions’ resignation and the installation of the new AG — who has said he would not recuse himself — have assured that much of any concluding report would be released. Mueller doesn’t want that.

This is one of the greatest frauds this country’s ever seen. And I’m just shocked that Bob Mueller didn’t call it that way and say, “I’m being used.” I would’ve done that. If I were in his shoes in this thing, I’d have gone to the– I’d have gone to Sessions and Rosenstein and said, “Look. This is nonsense. We are being used by a cabal in the F.B.I. to get even.”

There was no collusion. So—I, and then, so– Bob said he wasn’t looking’ at it. So I wrote to Rosenstein. He blew me off. That’s not leadership. That’s not accountability. This is a very serious– I mean, we were very serious. And we did it in writing. We did it politely. We did it confidentially. And he just blew us off. So I lost all respect for Rob Rosenstein.
