Game Over – Judge Jeanine Interview With HPSCI Rep. Chris Stewart…

The game is over. The jig is up. Victory is certain… the trench was ignited… the enemy funneled themselves into the valley… all bait was taken… everything from here on out is simply mopping up the details.  All suspicions confirmed.

Why has Devin Nunes been so confident?  Why did all GOP HPSCI members happily allow the Democrats to create a 10-page narrative?  All questions are answered.

Fughettaboudit.

House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence member Chris Stewart appeared on Fox News with Judge Jeanine Pirro, and didn’t want to “make news” or spill the beans, but the unstated, between-the-lines, discussion was as subtle as a brick through a window.  Judge Jeannie has been on the cusp of this for a few weeks.

Listen carefully around 2:30, Judge Jeanine hits the bulls-eye; and listen to how Chris Stewart talks about not wanting to make news and is unsure what he can say on this…

.

Bill Priestap is cooperating.

When you understand how central E.W. “Bill” Priestap was to the entire 2016/2017 ‘Russian Conspiracy Operation‘, the absence of his name, amid all others, created a curiosity.  I wrote a twitter thread about him last year and wrote about him extensively, because it seemed unfathomable his name has not been a part of any of the recent story-lines.

E.W. “Bill” Priestap is the head of the FBI Counterintelligence operation.  He was FBI Agent Peter Strozk’s direct boss.  If anyone in congress really wanted to know if the FBI paid for the Christopher Steele Dossier, Bill Priestap is the guy who would know everything about everything.

FBI Asst. Director in charge of Counterintelligence Bill Priestap was the immediate supervisor of FBI Counterintelligence Deputy Peter Strzok.

Bill Priestap is #1. Before getting demoted Peter Strzok was #2.

The investigation into candidate Donald Trump was a counterintelligence operation. That operation began in July 2016. Bill Priestap would have been in charge of that, along with all other, FBI counterintelligence operations.

FBI Deputy Peter Strzok was specifically in charge of the Trump counterintel op. However, Strzok would be reporting to Bill Priestap on every detail and couldn’t (according to structure anyway) make a move without Priestap approval.

On March 20th 2017 congressional testimony, James Comey was asked why the FBI Director did not inform congressional oversight about the counterintelligence operation that began in July 2016.

FBI Director Comey said he did not tell congressional oversight he was investigating presidential candidate Donald Trump because the Director of Counterintelligence suggested he not do so. *Very important detail.*

I cannot emphasize this enough. *VERY* important detail. Again, notice how Comey doesn’t use Priestap’s actual name, but refers to his position and title. Again, watch [Prompted]

FBI Director James Comey was caught entirely off guard by that first three minutes of that questioning. He simply didn’t anticipate it.

Oversight protocol requires the FBI Director to tell the congressional intelligence “Gang of Eight” of any counterintelligence operations. The Go8 has oversight into these ops at the highest level of classification.  In July 2016 the time the operation began, oversight was the responsibility of this group, the Gang of Eight:

Obviously, based on what we have learned since March 2017, and what has surfaced recently, we can all see why the FBI would want to keep it hidden that they were running a counterintelligence operation against a presidential candidate.   After all, as FBI Agent Peter Strzok said it in his text messages, it was an “insurance policy”.

REMINDER – FBI Agent Strzok to FBI Attorney Page:

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office that there’s no way he gets elected – but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

So there we have FBI Director James Comey telling congress on March 20th, 2017, that the reason he didn’t inform the statutory oversight “Gang of Eight” was because Bill Priestap (Director of Counterintelligence) recommended he didn’t do it.

Apparently, according to Comey, Bill Priestap carries a great deal of influence if he could get his boss to NOT perform a statutory obligation simply by recommending he doesn’t do it.

Then again, Comey’s blame-casting there is really called creating a “fall guy”.  FBI Director James Comey was ducking responsibility in March 2017 by blaming FBI Director of Counterintelligence Bill Priestap for not informing congress of the operation that began in July 2016. (9 months prior).

At that moment, that very specific moment during that March 20th hearing, anyone who watches these hearings closely could see FBI Director James Comey was attempting to create his own exit from being ensnared in the consequences from the wiretapping and surveillance operation of candidate Trump, President-elect Trump, and eventually President Donald Trump.

In essence, Bill Priestap was James Comey’s fall guy.  We knew it at the time that Bill Priestap would likely see this the same way.  The guy would have too much to lose by allowing James Comey to set him up.

Immediately there was motive for Bill Priestap to flip and become the primary source to reveal the hidden machinations.  Why should he take the fall for the operation when there were multiple people around the upper-levels of leadership who carried out the operation.

Our suspicions were continually confirmed because there was NO MENTION of Bill Priestap in any future revelations of the scheme team, despite his centrality to all of it.

Bill Priestap would have needed to authorize Peter Strzok to engage with Christopher Steele over the “Russian Dosssier”; Bill Priestap would have needed to approve of the underlying investigative process used for both FISA applications (June 2016, and Oct 21st 2016). Bill Priestap would be the person to approve of arranging, paying, or reimbursing, Christopher Steele for the Russian Dossier used in their counterintelligence operation and subsequent FISA application.

Without Bill Priestap involved, approvals, etc. the entire Russian/Trump Counterintelligence operation just doesn’t happen. Heck, James Comey’s own March 20th testimony in that regard is concrete evidence of Priestap’s importance.

Everyone around Bill Priestap, above and below, were caught inside the investigative net.

Above him: James Comey, Andrew McCabe and James Baker.  Below him: Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Jim Rybicki, Trisha Beth Anderson and Mike Kortan.  Parallel to Priestap in main justice his peer John P Carlin resigned, Sally Yates fired, Mary McCord quit, Bruce Ohr was busted twice, and most recently Dave Laufman resigned.  All of them caught in the investigative net…. Only Bill Priestap remained, quietly invisible – still in position.

The reason was obvious.

Likely Bill Priestap made the decision after James Comey’s testimony on March 20th, 2017, when he realized what was coming.  Priestap is well-off financially; he has too much to lose.  He and his wife, Sabina Menschel, live a comfortable life in a $3.8 million DC home; she comes from a family of money.

While ideologically Bill and Sabina are aligned with Clinton support, and their circle of family and friends likely lean toward more liberal friends; no-one in his position would willingly allow themselves to be the scape-goat for the unlawful action that was happening around them.

Bill Priestap had too much to lose… and for what?

With all of that in mind, there is essentially no-way the participating members inside the small group can escape their accountability with Mr. Bill Priestap cooperating with the investigative authorities.

Now it all makes sense.  Devin Nunes interviewed Bill Priestap and Jim Rybicki prior to putting the memo process into place.  Rybicki quit, Priestap went back to work.

(page 5 pdf)

Bill Priestap remains the Asst. FBI Director in charge of counterintelligence operations.

It’s over.

I don’t want to see this guy, or his family, compromised.  This is probably the last I am ever going to write about him unless it’s in the media bloodstream. I can’t fathom the gauntlet of hatred and threats he is likely to face from the media and his former political social network if they recognize what’s going on.  BP is Deep-Throat x infinity… nuf said.

The rest of this entire enterprise is just joyfully dragging out the timing of the investigative releases in order to inflict maximum political pain upon the party of those who will attempt to excuse the inexcusable.

Then comes the OIG Horowitz report.

Then the grand jury empaneled (if not already); and while Democrats attempt to win seats in the 2018 election, arrests and indictments will hit daily headlines.

Oh, lordy…

I couldn’t agree more. Ever have a victory over something evil, but when you see the harm that evil caused to others, the guilty and spotless, the celebratory feelings turn to deep pity. Justice needs to run its course, but all this just leaves me sad. I rummage through my memories – news stories that crucify people – innuendo, slander. Some driven to suicides. There is much evil that our intel can commit, and the media is complicit. Remember when Schumer said the intel could mess up someone six ways from Sunday? This didn’t start with Trump. This is the byproduct of our culture’s disintegrating moral fibers.

Either way, WE know better. Morons.

They can most certainly fight indictments. They’ll just say that Trump is a dictator like Hitler going after his enemies. That narrative is already out there, they are purposely setting it as they know clear well what’s going to come down. Injecting doubt and suspicion about what the GOP is doing is key to their defense.

I have noticed that lots of liberal-educated, young, high-school-age white boys are in a relationship with black girls. The black girls probably think it’s financially advisable to get a white guy who will pay his child-support payments instead of having three or four different baby-daddies and going on welfare.

It’s probably hard to make a case against a judge. He would have had to violate a major rule of the court or to have known about the false nature of the evidence presented to him. The judge might have been a rubber stamp, but I doubt he left himself open to criminal charges. Maybe an administrative reprimand.

The vast majority of warrants are approved because the prosecutors and investigators asking for the warrants aren’t idiots and don’t go to the judge unless they have evidence/sworn statements that they know the judge will accept. If you were a judge and some prosecutor kept coming to you without sufficient evidence for a warrant 50% of the time you’d probably seek to have them disbarred for incompetence.

In my job I occasionally work with information that requires approval from an internal Privacy Office. In hundreds of requests I have never had one denied. But that’s not because the PO approves everything, it’s because I’m not an idiot and never ask for anything without a good reason that I already know will be approved.

    Mad Maxine spilled the truth:

“That’s going to be very, very powerful,” Waters said. “That database will have information about everything on every individual on ways that it’s never been done before and whoever runs for President on the Democratic ticket has to deal with that. They’re going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can’t get around it. And he’s [President Obama] been very smart. Brennan is also suspected of ordering the hit on journalist Michael Hastings by remotely blowing up his car at 3ish in the morning. He is also suspected in ordering the hit on Andrew Breitbart and the assistant coroner who autopsied the body. Of course none of this could be ” proven” but the circumstances and the fact that all of these people were looking into Brennan or in the case of the military guy, worked with him are just too coincidental. Then when the CIA secrets were exposed by Wikileaks we find out that the CIA had developed the anbility to remotely blow up cars! What a surprise! Brennan is very bad news!

Thanks! Very interesting! Taken together with all the other stuff, including the Montgomery story, I’m pretty certain that the characterization as Obama’s “go-to-for-dirty” guy is correct.

Obama clearly wanted Brennan in CIA, but not during the first term. He waited for re-election, as planned. Very sneaky.

I’m sure of it now. Brennan and Jeh would GLADLY false-flag Trump to get him out. The beauty of the plot is that it would probably work even without Jeh, but I think it would be better if he was in on it. Doesn’t have to be, though. Page was very skilled in manipulating Strzok, and I think she may be CIA. So if she was manipulating Jeh, that would work, too. However, I’m pretty sure Jeh is deep dirty, and helped Obama do WHATEVER he wanted.

Following an “innocent” script to take out Trump? NO PROBLEM. Tell his people to “watch for the Russian bots” and they show up just like predicted.

To quote the evil Valerie Jarrett, “Easy, peasy.”

But my guess is that knowing the timetable and seeing all the emails, memos, and inter-agency fake stuff, it will be very obvious to see that it was a scam where one side (DHS) was innocent except for maybe one or two people at the top, and the other team (CIA) had total deniability for their bad guys. It will look hokey as hell, but no smoking gun other than timing and MAYBE, if we’re lucky, LISA PAGE coincidences and weirdness in orders to people responsible for interaction with state electoral resources.

Right now, I’m leaning toward my original hunch that Page was seriously manipulating Strzok and staying VERY CLOSE to make sure that he was providing stuff that would fulfill the exoneration of Cankles. THAT was, to me, her primary function. I’m thinking she was planning to stay in close to the FBI top to keep it on track for Cankles, and that if Strzok went to Mueller, it would be helpful to split up the now-unneeded affair.

The Republican Party is corrupt. The first and sometimes only question they ask is, “How does this benefit the Chamber of Commerce and the donor class?” The American people are an afterthought. We have a scandal involving big time criminality being exposed, but you’d never know it by the actions of Ryan and McConnell. They should be calling for a prosecutor and a formal investigation. But they seem unconcerned. It’s hard to move forward as a party with bad leadership.

It has always been ridiculous to me that anyone but Comey made the decision not to inform Congress or that it was on recommendation of an underling. This was always a Director-level decision; clearly GOP members would not be advised unless/until necessary, and I think Schumer and Schiff always knew. But it’s absurd to think it would have been anyone but an agency head who would make the decision for any agency with respect informing Congress about a hugely controversial political matter. It is further absurd to think that control-freak, megloamniac, drama queen Comey would have let anyone else make the decision -or even needed their input. Interface with Congress was his job and political know how was his forte. Odd the Congresswoman Stefanik didn’t pursue Comey’s answer – FBI didn’t inform because of “sensitivity of matter.” Well, Comey didn’t need Priestap to tell him about “sensitivity of the matter.”

I never bought the Comey answer that he didn’t inform Congress “upon the recommendation of our head of counter intelligence.”

Yeah. Think about his first response when asked about when Congress was first informed: “Good question.” Huh? !?!? That’s an out-of context-response when the answer turns out to be “recently.” I mean, if he was asked about events of 5 of 10 years ago and he had to search is memory, ok. But in this context, that response doesn’t fit. In my opiniin, it is the response of someone playing a game and accidentally complimenting the other player on hitting a good shot. That response has always struck me and I have meant to comment on it earlier. Does anyone else realize how badly revealing that response is? (And Comey never actually answered question. What is “recently?” )

Stefanik combined four questions into one. To be honest, that’s a bad interrogation technique. Rule: always ask only one question at a time. Asking more than one question gives the suspect the opportunity to obfuscate and confuse, as Comey did here.

Here was her question: When did you inform the following of the existence of a counterintelligence investigation (1) Congressional leadership, (2) the DNI, and (3) the WH? The first one, Congressional leadership, was easy, caused Comey no problems. The second one was also problem-free. But the third one — when did you inform the WH, that is, Obama — probably caused him to choke, stammer, and sweat, because that is the critical question: what did Obama know and when did he know it?

So look at his answer. “Good question. Congressional leadership, sometime recently…; obviously, the Department of Justice has been aware of it all along; the DNI – I don’t know what the DNI’s knowledge of it was because we didn’t have a DNI until Mr. Coates took office and I briefed him his first morning in office.” So she asked about Congressional leadership, the DNI, and the WH while he answered about Congressional leadership, the DOJ (which she hadn’t asked about), and the DNI under Coates. He failed to answer about the DNI Clapper and the WH. So he flimmed flammed her on the most important question — the WH. She was in a hurry, she only had 5 minutes, so she hurried on to the next question on her list, not realizing Comey had dodged her most important question. If he had answered the WH question, undoubtedly there would have been follow-up questions and we probably would have a lot more information about Obama’s involvement.

What everyone seems to overlook is that Priestap was not a Comey direct report. Priestap reported to McCabe, and McCabe reported to Comey. Definitely that was an important question. The way I understand it is sensitivity means “we were conducting a political investigation of the presidential candidate of the opposing party using questionable unlawful means.” If he had said that or something similar, the roof would have caved in and the questioning would have gone crazy.

This again is why we need a prosecutor, a professional interrogator who wouldn’t have been fooled like this. This hearing points out the weakness of leaving this investigation to a divided committee of lawyers and non-lawyers who are not professional prosecutors.

Andy, while I agree with the need for a SC the problem with that is that everything would fall into a black hole for an investigation that would take several months if not years. It would likely be very quiet regarding its proceedings until well after the mid-terms. If the Dems aren’t shown in the light before that, and they manage to regain control in the House, and maybe the Senate, everything will be quashed and we’ll never hear anything more about it. Then the Dems will impeach Trump in the House. Even if they are unable to convict him in the Senate, he will be essentially neutered and incapable of bringing this corruption out into the light and holding these scoundrels accountable.

It would have made more sense (and better chance at winning) if Biden ran against Trump. But The Kenyan stopped Biden and wanted Killary. Why????
Because The Kenyan had all the dirt….ALL OF IT…on Killary and her pay to play schemes. He had the dirt via illegal monitoring.
Having all the dirt on her, the plan was to get President Killary to do The Kenyans bidding while letting her make a few hundred millions more using Bill The Rapist and her ugly daughter to go around selling favours. She’d be more than satisfied with that.

The Kenyan would have effectively had another 8 years as president, albeit a shadow president. But his wish to “fundamentally transform America” would have been fulfilled.
Then, rigging elections into the foreseeable future was not out of the question.

We’ve gotten bits and pieces of information from various sources and analysts like Sundance have been able to piece together a mosaic that partially fills in the picture of what happened. However, there are large gaps in the information. We know virtually nothing about the involvement of Obama and his staff, or of the higher ups in the DOJ, for example.

What’s needed is an entire picture with all details filled in. IMO only a prosecutor can create that picture. A prosecutor has so many advantages over Congressional committees. Only a prosecutor can convene a grand jury, compel secret testimony that will remain secret, secure indictments, flip witnesses, use polygraphs, and generally develop a detailed picture of the conspiracy. Since he is acting alone, the prosecutor can act much more quickly and be much more thorough than a cumbersome committee of 20 interrogators. He can act in secret, which makes him less subject to media and political pressure. Prosecutors are professional interrogators, committee members are inexperienced questioners. Look at the video above of Rep. Stefanik questioning Comey. She had 5 minutes to ask questions. Prosecutors aren’t limited like that. As a result of her time limit, she rushed through her questions and failed to get answers to her two most important questions: When were the WH and the DNI informed of the existence of the investigation. She was played by the obfuscating Comey. This kind of incomplete questioning would never happen with a prosecutor asking the questions. I don’t like Mueller, but my guess is he has put together a complete case with no gaps relatively quickly. That’s what a prosecutor can do.

It’s really important to have a prosecutor appointed NOW. As we move further along in these committees, more information comes out that allows suspects to adjust their testimony to the narrative that is slowly being created. We may end up with a partial or God forbid a false narrative. So pressure has to develop to get a special counsel appointed and on this case immediately. Sessions by law is the one who has to act. He needs to act now.

M15P2LDW from My Readers I share this from The Last Refuge which is so on point with this article is why I put it in “Let The Truth Be Told” and “Draining The Swamp” and “Lies, Deceit and Scandal of the Obama Administration” all rolled into one, therefore it’s also “Recommended Reading” and “Info To File” see https://515loupe.wordpress.com/2018/02/11/515-loupe-02-11-2018/

Hello lovers of Truth. I’m a first time poster but have been in the Treehouse since the Zimmerman trial. I am so impressed by many of the well thought out comments here. Thank God for you all.

Since the posting of the HPSCI memo a week ago Friday has there has been nothing but stronger confirmation, public victory, and deeper revelation of the facts and evidence of the corruption. The Senate Judiciary report and the Homeland Security report are pure 100% light of truth. The full vote of all Repubs on the HPSCI to release the Minority Memo. Two more big leadership resignations. And where are the DOI and FBI employees running to the public defense of their fallen leaders? Loyal soldiers don’t leave dead officers on the field—yet their failure to speak tells us just what the rank and file might be thinking.
So the last ten days have been simply astounding in the speed of the revelations and victory on the legislative front. Now the second front is opening—the front of the courts. All has been reported in the Trees but consider how a two front battle will impact the guilty.
    1. Van Grack appears to be compromised and the Flynn sentencing has been postponed. Very odd. Implication? Flynn case will be dismissed upon recommendation of DOJ or by order of the Judge. Imagine the MSM response?
    2. As reported, the GSA gave Van Grack and the Special Prosecutor the private TFA computers and phones based only on a letter of request—no subpoena. At the time the GSA was the sworn custodian under the law of this information and had a duty to protect it. This is likely going to prove to be the source of the Flynn entrapment.
    3. When a Judge in the Flynn case Sua Sponte ( By the judges own action —not based on a motion) orders Mueller to reveal to Flynn and the Court all exculpatory evidence that had not been released when Flynn plead guilty well— that is a handgernade of truth. That judge just , in essence, order them to tell the court they are liars. Failure to provide the evidence results in contempt of court , and likely disbarment. Possibly criminal.

The Prestap flip is not just the source of the legislative and political revelations—it results in the potential overturn of Flynn and the exposure of the fraud in Court. And a potential for contempt citations against the FBI and DOJ for withholding evidence. Two front wars are ugly.

The classical attack of the Zulu is in the shape of a fighting bull buffalo. The head… the horns…, and the loins. First the head moves forward. The enemy naturally moves in to meet it. But it is only a feint. The warriors in the head then disperse to form the encircling horns and the enemy is drawn in on the loins. And then the horns close in on the back and sides. Finish. …It is bloody deadly.

Sundance, I’m sure you’re already aware, but thanks to the MSM’s complete radio silence of “He who shall not be named” (aka Bill Priestap), this post and “The Enigma Man” are the #1 and #2 search results for “Bill Priestap” in Google instead of fake news article(s) in the WashPost, NYTimes, HuffPost, etc.! 😎

Assuming Judge Janine’s show last night (and the ensuing sharing and tweeting of it) is causing lots and lots of people to google the name “Bill Priestap” for the first time ever — especially swamp dwellers in DC who work in/around government and follow this story closely but like many, have never read or heard the name Priestap before — I think it’s safe to say the level of panic, shock and awe they’re now experiencing = Level “Oh Lordy”!

I am so impressed with Sundance and his knowledge and wisdom in putting everything together. Who is Sundance? What is his “real name?” Maybe he is President Trump. All I can say is that I am so glad to have found The Conservative Treehouse blog. This is the place I first knew for certain that Donald Trump would be our president even though my friends dared to hope. How wonderful it is to have him for our president.
I am an older lady (72) and never in my lifetime have things been so bad; yes, I was interested in Watergate but it is nothing compared to the deception in Washington DC going on these past years. Obama ruined us but Trump is our only hope! I hope Mueller is a white hat and I hope he is investigating Obama and Clinton and the Deep State.
Thank you all for writing and for all your comments on this blog! It is my favorite reading site for modern day news!

Great comment and I agree completely. I would like to add this:

I produce agricultural documentaries that at times require over 1000 hours and many nights until 2 am. Sometimes friendly people call and I just totally unload on them and later I can’t believe what I have said. And then the last thing I need is someone telling me I don’t know what I am doing when in fact they don’t.

After finishing the latest magazine issue a burned out editor friend of mine answers the phone with “this is going to be a short phone call”. And he sounds like hell and he is going through hell.

I don’t know how Sundance does this day in and day out. I couldn’t.

    And?
None of it matters unless an AG is hiding under a desk somewhere and will pop out and behave as Attorney General of what was once the USA.
We have no such animal now, and we can discover all sorts of great scoops on the sordid, corrupted Federal Governmemt, but really who cares if it’s just the people jawing?
A year on. Same sites talking and/or doing Invisible Man Sessions job for him. Same nothing actually, factually happening.

Really hard to tell, isn’t it? But, I think some of us are giving too much credit to the Dems. They have been very sloppy in many instances that leads me to think Page was just a tool to get into the Trump orbit. Getting the Title 1 surveillance is key. That gave them all they needed to get to all in Trumpland and beyond. Page was never the concern.

So now.. after reading and reading, I’m still caught up on a few things.

      1. Is Mueller still able to continue his charade knowing what he has to know of what has been released.. and all the firings in the FBI/DOJ? Why are GOP members saying he should? Are they just covering for themselves for now until more is released?

      2. Can Sessions bring charges? Can there be indictments to a grand jury? Why are the GOP members calling for a SP when they know this will take all control away from them? Are they scared of getting blame for holding Obama’s WH accountable for crimes against a sitting president and trying to undermine the election and cover for actual crimes done by Hillary?
