When Trump wins, I’ll tune into Faux News just to see Megyn Kelley’s false eyelashes and mascara stream down her face. Bitchy I know, what what the hey.

The lack of visible support for Crooked Hillary in my little Michigan area is stunning. Not saying they won’t still vote for her, but man, if they are they are sure keepin’ it on the down low.

Ten very Democrat homes I’ve pass by on a regular basis for years:

    2008 – Obama signs
    2010 – General Dem signs
    2012 – Obama signs
    2014 – General Dem signs
2016 Primary – One Bernie sign – Zero Hillary
2016 General – No signs or only local candidate signs

Not one Hillary sign. Two weeks out from the election and these same ten Dem homes have ZERO Hillary signs. A few have signs for local races. These are not shy people. They advertise regularly and this time? Zip, nada, nothing for Hillary.

I also only saw one Hillary sign in a very hippy-dippy Dem stronghold area on a major roadway. That’s it. One. That is shocking. There is literally no enthusiasm for Hillary in my Michigan area. You wouldn’t even know there is an election.

I have seen a few Trump signs. Slightly fewer than for Romney but that’s to be expected.

Sounds similar to my area,Tidewater,Virginia. Lots of Democrats here, though we usually can pull the Republican vote over the top due to the heavy military presence, but almost no sign there is a Democrat presidential election happening. Hubby said one house (Dem) has a Hillary sign, but otherwise nothing. Plenty of Trump signs.

Is it that they don’t want anyone to know they’re voting for Hillary? Or maybe they’re just not going to vote, or maybe they’re voting for Trump? I can’t figure it out.

Today on FOX news the commentator said they are seeing signs of low voter turnout in Ohio. Can you believe he said that! They must think we live in a hole and only stick our noses out to see what they are saying.

This was during an interview with Huckabee, who held his on very well. In fact, to that Huckabee said if there is low turnout then that is probably good for Trump because he doesn’t think Hillary people have enough enthusiasm to show up to vote.

      Additional good news from Ohio/Pennsylvania….
I’m in Ohio. There’s been some talk about Trump’s outreach to the Amish in Ohio and PA. The Amish tend to not vote at all.

According to friends of mine in Central/Northeast Ohio, the Amish seem to have decided to participate and vote Trump. They are even seeing Trump signs in Amish areas and on Amish property.

Following up by looking for some news reports, there is some limited info also suggesting this is true. Potentially around 70-80,000 votes between the 2 states.

Dying Grandma’s spirited defense of partial-birth abortion couldn’t have helped her much with the Amish. Or the Mennonites, for that matter.

ALso, Mennonites in Ohio are about double the Amish population, and in PA they are known as the Pennsylvania Dutch…..not sure how many there are…. (Amish are basically Mennonites on ‘roids.)
Mennonites participate in elections, but not that much….I haven’t heard, but would expect that the Mennonites would turn out en mass if the Amish do. They even tend to have a lot of their communities close to or interspersed with each other.

Our GOP Sec of State, John Husted, has actively been working on the problems we had in 2012—more than 100% of eligible voters voting in precincts in Toledo and Cleveland, w/ near 100% for Obama—that kind of crap.
I would expect lower turnout if a crimp has been put into Democrat cheating efforts here.
Sound like good news to me.

    Hello Everyone,

I found this website weeks ago from another conservative site, and have just been reading the comments and the articles to keep me going when it gets negative, I do not watch or listen to the news and this site, breitbart and gateway pundit is where i go for my news. I don’t usually post but wanted to relay something that occurred with a co-worker today. I am Black and she is Hispanic and like everyone I never ask anyone who they are voting for because it can be an uncomfortable conversation. But for some reason we went to lunch and she asked me who I was voting for. I told her Trump.(didn’t even hesitate) Then we started talking about other things because I was afraid to ask her in return who she was voting for, so I finally got up the nerve and asked her and she said Trump.

She is a christian like me and said although she has issues with Trump she is still voting for him because he most represents what is important to her as a christian. She said she also got rid of her Facebook account because she was sick of the negativity and the nasty politics.

        Hi Stu,

Yes I do, My cousin who has been a rabid democrat for years is voting Trump. I was so shocked when I heard it because I have had arguments with her about Obama and Democrats not helping the black community and none of it ever swayed her. It was her watching the first debate where everyone said Trump did bad, but it convinced her. When it first happened i posted on Instapundit(first time posting) but got attacked by Trolls. So never went back there to post again. This is my first time since then after I found this site. It is now my favorite.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Facebook sees a drop in use after the election’s over. It’s become a cesspool, which is a shame considering how vibrant and lively it used to be. A real shame.

I believe that there are MORE votes/support/signs than we actually see because there are people like me who have signed on with the Trump Train since June 2015 and the escalator ride, however, Because there are some crazies in and around my area I will NOT post my support which would be asking for vandalizing my car and or home.

There is a difference between absentee ballot requests and absentee ballots, in Ohio. Noon on 5 Nov 2016 is the last day for absentee ballot requests, by mail and in person at the Board of Elections office.

Statewide, absentee ballot requests are down by 200,000 over 2012 as of yesterday. However – here is the important part – the counties where the absentee ballot requests are down the most are the counties won by Obama in 2012.

Now, add in early voting. All early voting is done in person, at the Board of Elections, using an absentee ballot. Early voting is done via machine or paper ballot.

Totally confusing, huh? Here is a source – https://sunny95.com/news/061160-husted-absentee-ballot-requests-lower-than-2012/
plus 4:00 p.m. WHLO radio news today, plus I voted at the Board of Elections yesterday. Yes, they remember me. I was the one asking all the questions, unlike all the other nice people who followed directions quietly. (sigh – no hope for me…) My small Board of Elections was quite busy.
