In this morning’s Federal Register is a four page PDF Air Worthiness Directive (the FAA under the Dept of Transportation sends out notices of critical maintenance issues regarding airplanes) on Bombardier airplanes – fuel leakage issues near rib 6 so inspections need to be undertaken immediately.

Canada had an issue with the deicing function on the new Gulfstream jets because they use a different standard for testing then the FAA. Apparently, that issue has been resolved and Canada has certified Gulfstream to operate/sell in Canada.
