Confirmed: Rupert Murdoch Instructed Fox News To Take Down Donald Trump August 2015…

update-1*Updated to add some additional emphasis on the scope of so-called “conservative media”, and financial corruption.

In an extensive article within New York Magazine, mostly outlining the rather sordid details of Roger Ailes, readers may also note specific confirmation of something we outlined in August of last year (2015). Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch instructed Fox News executives to take down Donald Trump.

(NY MAG) […] Murdoch was not a fan of Trump’s and especially did not like his stance on immigration. (The antipathy was mutual: “Murdoch’s been very bad to me,” Trump told me in March.) A few days before the first GOP debate on Fox in August 2015, Murdoch called Ailes at home. “This has gone on long enough,” Murdoch said, according to a person briefed on the conversation.

Murdoch told Ailes he wanted Fox’s debate moderators — Kelly, Bret Baier, and Chris Wallace — to hammer Trump on a variety of issues. Ailes, understanding the GOP electorate better than most at that point, likely thought it was a bad idea. “Donald Trump is going to be the Republican nominee,” Ailes told a colleague around this time. But he didn’t fight Murdoch on the debate directive.

On the night of August 6, in front of 24 million people, the Fox moderators peppered Trump with harder-hitting questions. But it was Kelly’s question regarding Trump’s history of crude comments about women that created a media sensation. He seemed personally wounded by her suggestion that this spoke to a temperament that might not be suited for the presidency. “I’ve been very nice to you, though I could probably maybe not be based on the way you have treated me,” he said pointedly. This is interesting on many levels, but more importantly for a few very specific confirmational aspects.

Last year many people were struggling to understand what was going on within Fox News. Many people saw the bias; even more people grew outraged at what they were witnessing; but unfortunately many people would not (or could not) accept what was brutally obvious.

Additionally, when CTH outlined the specifics of the factional alignment that was coming from this directive, multiple entities within the “conservative blog-o-sphere” claimed we were advancing some form of ridiculous conspiratorial analysis.

The last third of an earlier CTH outline, during this event timeline (July/August ’15), specifically warned Trump –in advance of the first debate– that Fox News had this intention. (Scroll down to the part of Megyn Kelly HERE).

Additionally, within the cited New York Magazine article you’ll note that Lachlan Murdoch personally instructed Harper Collins Publications, another Murdoch business, to give Megyn Kelly a $6,000,000 advance on a $10 million book deal.  In 2015 when we found out who Kelly’s publisher was, we presented that specific prediction – again, in the face of much antagonism. However, we were correct.

Why is this confirmation important?

If you go through the timeline, and look at the confirmation in the NY Mag, you’ll note the specific group within Fox News who formed the internal Pro-Murdoch/Anti-Trump Fox coalition. They are: Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace.

Not coincidentally these key Fox hosts were the ones specifically directed to take down Trump –AND– the three anti-Trump amigos on the Fox Debate Panel.

Wallace, Baier, Kelly and (circled) Fox News VP Political Executive Bill Sammon – during debate preparations.  Bill Sammon is the father of Marco Rubio’s National Campaign Spox, Brooke Sammon.  Senator Marco Rubio was also the preferred candidate of Rupert Murdoch because of his immigration position.

Secondly, if you think about Baier, Kelly and Wallace beyond the scope of the debate itself, you might also begin to remind yourself –and cross reference in your mind– which Fox shows consistently highlight (what later became known as) ‘the #NeverTrump punditry‘.

Thinking specifically about Fox News and Brett Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace. Now think about which shows give continual voice to: Brit Hume, Stephen Hayes, Charles Krauthammer, Bill Kristol, George Will, Jonah Goldberg, Ben Shapiro, Rich Lowry, Glenn Beck, Dana Loesch, Katie Pavlich, Chris Stirewalt and Guy Benson.

Never trump crowd

What you realize is the 2015 #NeverTrumper’s (pictured above) were/are almost exclusively booked for appearances on Rupert’s Three Amigo’s: Bret Baier (Special Report), Megyn Kelly (Kelly File), and Chris Wallace (Fox News Sunday and Special Report).

These three Fox Hosts are the primary voices behind the Rupert Murdoch anti-Trump faction within Fox News.  Remember when Donald Trump pulled out of the second Fox News debate:

Megyn Kelly tweet Stirewalt

Another key aspect to keep in mind is that Rupert Murdoch doesn’t operate alone.  There are other media entities, not as big but still influential, that follow the exact same set of directives.   The Salem Media Communications group is one example (Hot Air, Human Events, Twitchy, Red State, Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Erick Erickson et al), and iHeart Radio is another.

Just like Murdoch at Fox News, Salem Media Communications and iHeart Radio hold the same ideological objectives.  Every entity within those enterprises is part of the same synergistic networking group.

Politically, Club 4 Growth and a host of other PAC’s, Super-PAC’s and political enterprises are funding mechanisms for the above media, aligned in ideology and providing financial support to the aforementioned political media sales force. –Well Outlined Here– Example:

Rigel Strategies is one of the intermediaries that pays for, and hides, political content on websites and your favorite radio talk-shows.  In our opinion this is blatantly illegal, but washing the funds through these networks -and we are talking millions- keeps the consuming listener/reader in the dark. –Well Documented Here

As more and more people awaken to the reality they become increasingly self-aware.  With that awareness comes a realization that conspiracy theories are quite often not just theory.

ps. Do you still think Chris Wallace should moderate the third presidential debate?  …Knowing full well that the person who determines his income, Rupert Murdoch, has been specifically identified as giving instructions to Chris Wallace to take down Donald Trump?

Oh yeah, and let’s talk about Daron Shaw’s Fox News Polls…. shall we?

Thanks for the enlightenment. I’m 75 y/o and have never been this involved in the political/news scene. Wish I had a responsible news channel to watch. Right now I’m watching FOX because of no alternative but will keep on this site

  2. Great article. I am not big Trump supporter, but it has been completely obvious its all about the narrative….and the narrative is to take down Trump at any cost.

  3. Leslie Conrad says:

Carl Cameron sounds today ( & usually everyday) like he’s still a #nevertrumper for Fox along with those above-mentioned, Chris Stierwall, & most of “The Five” ( except Eric & KG). I just hope Trump is ready for Wallace as he’s definitely going to “gun” for him

  4. Teresa Pitts says:

I was a fan of fox news, but after what I witnessed I will no longer watch fox news

    • Elizabeth says:

A lot of us know the basics of this, but not the detsitails. Even before the debate, you could spot condescending attitudes at FOX. All you have named but more. I’ve switched over over to Fox business, and online/alternative outlets. My Facebook group, (1800 women,) Conservative ladies of Loudoun, is great at networking the shenanigans of the Murdock cartel. Really appreciated this article. Thanks.

  5. HOW ABOUT Hannity – we tape him because he comes on so late – and I love his conservative panel.

  6. Bob says:

How is this unelected witch getting away with all the crap she does? Because she has complete control over Obama. We have to watch closely for an end run by Hillary and the administration.
The voter fraud is in play and there are not monitors that have the authority to shut it down when observed.

  7. I just saw this report for the first time and have to say that I saw the bias immediately. Was a big fan before but stopped watching all except Hannity, and Greta. I am 83 and have been thru many elections but was immediately a big fan of Trump when he announced. Have been donating to him ever since. Even the pompous O’Reilly sickens me, trying to tell Trump how to win. Trump caught on right away. Didn’t know all the dirt on Hillary before, but registered as Republican after the 2007 primary. Was never going to vote Dem ever again. Dirty things the Dems did turned me off for good.

What happens to these Goebbel-Pravda POS on Novemebr 9th?

  9. Maggie says:

I’m down to watching only Lou Dobbs, Hannity, and Stuart Varney on FBN. And I used to watch ALL the FOX shows. I’m so disappointed in FOX.

  10. Linda says:

I agree; so many of us who use to watch FOX are only watching, Hobbs, Hannity, and Varney. It is so sad to see the bias because they use to be the one who you could turn to. Big change since Roger Ailes left.

  11. Larry Bates says:

I pulled the plug on Fox News TV a long time ago but now I have pulled it on the Android App also. It is bad enough when your enemies betray you, but when so-called friends do it, then the consequences must be much deeper.

  12. Victor says:

It is amazing that Trump was able to prevail over the wishes of all media, including most conservative media.

Trump shows what businessmen who own and build a multi billion dollar company in a business as mature and competitive as hotels and development are made of. They much tougher than the bright Silicon Valley wonder who basically ride the new consumer tech wave.

Trump is way tougher and smarter than all politicians and pundits. Only the owners, not the employed CEOs of tle networks and other owners of large business are in his league.

Trump is a force of nature, the Blitzers, the De Niros, the Megyn Kellys, etc., are intellectual and character midgetr next to Trump.

Furthermore. Trump is a team player who likes to choose tough smart guys like him to run things.

Frankly, in character and intelligence Obama is just a nice but phony a teen ager next to Trump. Obama is in awe of Trump.

Since he was confirmed as President ellect Trump is already running the US, Obama sits in the corner holding hands with Michelle, parallized.
