One of the lesser discussed WikiLeaks revelations was the leak outlining collusion between The Democrat National Committee and CBS News Political Polling.  The DNC requested and received control over the CBS published polling outcome.

We have previously outlined this activity as “agenda polling“; it has been discussed in great length.  The WikiLeaks release just provided more evidence.  Every single major media poll release is specifically constructed to deliver a directional narrative as outlined by the ideological message for the accompanying/distributing outlet.

2 candidate trump vs clinton - CNN Poll National

Which brings us to today’s CNN narrative polling (full pdf below); where they state Trump has “surged” following the RNC convention in Cleveland.  Quite hypocritical of them actually, when you consider CNN claimed the entire convention was an abysmal failure.

If you follow Media Polling, you’ll note the ridiculous nature of the presentation.  Mid-June the media pollsters were claiming Hillary held a 10 to 15 point lead.

goofy polls

Does it really make sense that Donald Trump jumped that far (10 to 12 points) from a convention bounce?  Of course not.

The reality is, Clinton was NEVER ahead, and the race is not even close now.

The evidence of this insane Media Agenda Polling can be found in a CBS release (released last weekend).  CBS Presented the most incredulously twisted Battleground State Polling we have ever seen presented.

Let me give you an example of scope of manipulation needed to get to a typical media polling conclusion (emphasis mine):

[…] Respondents were selected for participation from available panel members to be representative of registered voters from each state in terms of age, race, and gender. A propensity score (based upon a case controllogistic regression including age, race, gender, education, born-again status, party registration, and 2012 vote) was estimated for each respondent and responding panelists were post-stratifed upon propensity scoredeciles, and adjusted for differential recontact from the prior wave. A score for likelihood of voting was computed for each respondent based upon past turnout and self-reported likelihood of voting in the presidential primary.  Finally, the product of the base weights and turnout probabilities were raked to match parameters from past primary and general elections in the state drawn from exit polls, and aggregate parameters from thecurrent voter file. The weights were trimmed to have a maximum value of seven….  (link)

Oh, it doesn’t stop there – there’s actually three more pages of CBS pretzel logic statistics explaining how to measure the wing speed of a mockingbird while standing in a canoe filled with pancakes…. and at the end of the multi-state, panel analysis you’ll find:

brilliant trump clinton

Yup, CBS had to adjust the dynamics within the four known factors of energy to differentiate electromagnetism from the confines of gravity, and then dispatch the voluminous data through six rotations of the Hadron Collider in an effort to get the polled particle data to hold just the right amount of acceleration for the nano second needed where they could imagine it existed and present their findings.  “Trump barely ahead”.

Brilliant!

That’s about where it became necessary to take a break and listen to an old favorite:

You see, the reality is folks – this race is not close.  This race is not even in the same city where the close ballpark is located.

Look at the Philly Convention.  Do you notice how the entire venue is optically different from the GOP convention by intentional design?

In Cleveland the delegates were all on the floor of the event venue.  The thousands of seats circling the floor were for visitors, spectators, guests and people who were not part of the official delegation business.

Now go look at Philadelphia.  There’s only a few delegates on the floor, the remaining number of delegates are in the venue auditorium seating.  Optics.  Gotta keep the optics.  The optics of interest – because there ain’t none.

Here’s the CNN Agenda Polling:
