Speaker Ryan Continues Pushing Wall Street Legislative Agenda…

The Wall Street legislative agenda consists of broad principles (financial global items) and some core priorities:

  • Comprehensive immigration reform to include amnesty.
  • Passage of the TPP trade deal.
  • The advancement of Common Core federal education standards.
  • The retention of ObamaCare without repeal
  • Growth of government to the benefit of the investing class.

Toward those ends, U.S. CoC President Tom Donohue, acting as front-man, has invested over $400 million in advance payments to House and Senate leaders and members.

Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan have a unified objective to defend the W.S. Agenda items. Candidate Donald Trump, representing main street, is opposed to the Wall Street legislative agenda.  Trump prefers “America First”. Hence, the ideological loggerheads.

(Via Julia Hahn – Breitbart) One day prior to Donald Trump formally clinching the GOP nomination, House Speaker Paul Ryan launched a new line of attack against the Party’s standard bearer selected by GOP voters.

During a Wednesday meeting with reporters on Capitol Hill, the House Speaker, once again, disavowed Trump’s campaign pledge to enforce U.S. immigration law.

Ryan also indicated that he would not include Trump’s signature policy platforms on trade or immigration in the House GOP 2017 policy agenda.

As the Washington Post reported:

Ryan was pressed on whether the House was preparing plans for the mass deportation of illegal immigrants — a key plank of Trump’s platform. Ryan, who opposes mass deportation and supports a path to legal status for the undocumented, noted that immigration is not part of the agenda project…

‘Obviously, securing the border is part of national security, we believe,’ he [Ryan] said. ‘But I’ve made my view on [mass deportation] pretty darn clear, and I’ll just leave it at that.’

Indeed, Ryan not only opposes enforcing immigration law and deporting illegal migrants, but Ryan also has a long history of fighting to give illegal migrants access to social services paid for by U.S. taxpayers.  (continue reading)

I’ve been trying to give Ryan the benefit of the doubt. Some of us are just coming into politics this year, so we may not have pre-determined opinions of each person. This is where CTH and lots of reading helps me draw my own conclusions, or feelings.
Knowing Ryan’s immigration policies have been such a cornerstone for him, I don’t see him coming around to Trump. At some point, I am expecting we will hear what happens. Ryan released his “ConfidentAmerica” agenda this week. As Ryan indicated , immigration not included.
My concern is the Constitutional Authority section. Is this to try and tie Trump’s hand on some future items ?

It’s pretty bad when our so called top lawmakers won’t enforce the laws.
It must be pretty confusing to new police officers when they take an oath to uphold the law. One shouldn’t have to ask which laws are we not enforcing this week.

This Boehner twin demanded that everyone on his staff read Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged”…are you kidding??? Rand’s writings were aimed at destroying big government and Ryan’s obvious movement toward the beginning steps of socialism is certainly not condoned in any of Rand’s writings. We can only pray that WI will vote him out of office this year when he is up for re-election (doubtful). Wonder who is waiting in the wings to step into his shoes…

I see Ryan being controlled or doing the work of someone other than the American people.
He does not seem to have respect for us and like a dog bows to whoever is pulling his chain.
I am very disappointed in that man. I have the feeling that he is setting up his agenda for the Congress and wants to over right the future President. He has no respect for Trump because he sees himself above him. Funny he is the lap dog for Obama and his ilk.

The Establishment brutalizes Trump and labels him as a Democrat. Ryan is a democrat. Something is not right with this picture.Trump is much more conservative than Ryan. Therefore the Establishment is nothing more than a bunch of in closet Democrats. Establishment in support of Ryan proves that the two parties are the same. One world government and one party is the goal.

Is there a comprehensive list/spreadsheet somewhere that 1)lists every congressman and senator by state that is up for re-election this cycle and 2) identifies how they voted against some of the most important policy positions that Trump is running on, 3)plus if the incumbents are running unopposed, and 4)if opposed who their challenger is. Even if the incumbents have falsely come “out” to endorse Trump now, to either save their own skin, or subversibly remain part of the DC cabal that plans to get delegates to turn on him at the convention (I don’t trust them!)… A short sweet condensed document that could somehow be distributed to Trump supporters, like was done during a number of primaries about the delegates… To help Trump voters, especially those not previously engaged in “politics,” to see the TRUTH about their congressmen and senators… before voting. And getting the voters to actively engage in some of the state elections that are held before the general in Nov. I just don’t know how one would go about doing it? Maybe I’m naive about the process, or perhaps there is something similar already in place. Clearly with Trump having to raise money now for the GOP (many/most who are GOPe!) doesn’t that responsibility of seating congressmen and senators who support our future president’s agenda and OUR FUTURE rest with US?!? Would love to know your thoughts… Thx!

Anyone who believes any of this is going to be a picnic after November had better think again. The GOPe’s fallback plan will be to try to marginalize a President Trump, a fact that Speaker Ryan only makes obvious.

But Presidents do have broad sway in their control of the Executive branch, so any laws and fiats (ie. Executive Orders) already on the books are under the President’s purview. And he has great leverage over most federal regulatory regimes as well.

So it will be fascinating to see how far Ryan & Co are willing to try to push this envelope with a President from their own party, especially one who is resistant to threats and doesn’t suffer fools well.

    • An even worse scenario was President Reagan’s fate; he had a Republican majority Senate & a Democrat majority House. He was able to get cooperation from Congress by winning in two landslide victories. He used his power as “The Great Communicator” to speak directly to the American people who were inspired to get on the phone with or write letters to their Congressmen & Senators. He got his legislative agenda passed & enacted quickly.

President Reagan put together a great Cabinet, appointing some truly remarkable men & women, with great resumes of accomplishment & success, to implement his policies. He reformed or abolished massive amounts of bureaucracy & cut budget pork! The economy remained strong for two decades afterward, while the Left & Progressives destroyed & dismantled what his Presidency put In place.

Our weak economy & joblessness are the results. Globalists, for some Idiotic reason, don’t understand a strong America is best for them, too. The ideology driving them toward socialism has wreaked havoc worldwide.

If Speaker Ryan & Majority Leader McConnell attempt to thwart the will of American voters by obstructing what we elect Trump to do, they will come under some very intense scrutiny & public pressure. Make no mistake, the globalists know Americans are on to them. There are a helluva lot more us than them. Globalists have screwed us for the last time, we are rejecting their BS.

This fight is just beginning. There are long battles ahead for all of us. Gird your loins Wolverines!

Ryan, Romney, GOP-E – along with the Democrats – are actually doing the same thing Europe is doing. Encouraging unfettered, (unvetted) legal and illegal immigration to make sure there there is an adequate supply of “workers” for the slave plantations (modern version, but still enslavement). That’s what all this is about. The people are enticed by the generous welfare handouts, but then find themselves trapped. So if not here as slaves, they’re here as indentured servants – beholden and stuck because of the ruling class. The ruling class, which isn’t anything more than a modern-day version of the nobles and royals of old.

Democrats have a history of enslavement.
They turned their back on Black people when new slaves came into the country.
They enslaved black people with welfare and tore the black families apart.
There is no shame to be working cleaning houses or gardening or any other hard work. The woe gives a person purpose in life.
I am white and when I came in 64 with little money I worked one year as domestic. That gave me a roof over the head and money to save. I was legal.
Yes all immigrants get exploited if they are Mexicans or Europeans. All work is honorable as long it is honest work.
I feel bad for blacks how the democrats turned their back on them. I have known many hard working men and women from the black community .

I’ve always thought all work was honorable. My father worked two jobs at times to keep food on the table. He was 1st generation American and instilled the idea of work and education to better oneself.

Welfare and being dependent on the “State” has become a substitute for the ties that bind us and SUPPORT us in our lives. The State has deliberately set out to sever us from family (your noting the breakup and destruction of the black family – which has now made inroads into whites as well) friends, neighborhoods. All was done as planned – to achieve an agenda of power and control.

Ultimately, we will be serfs working for the fiefdom of the “State” – which in fact we actually already are.
