Internecine Politics – Fox News Debate Executive’s Daughter Is Marco Rubio Press Secretary…

Things That Make Other Things Make Sense…

Last week radio talk show host Mark Levin had to reluctantly admit he has a ‘soon-to-be’ step-son working for Senator Ted Cruz. – HERE –  Now, this week comes an even more startling revelation:

Bill Sammon is a Fox News Vice President and in charge of the Fox News debates and questioning.  His daughter, Brooke Sammon, is Marco Rubio’s Press Secretary.

bill sammonbrooke sammon

So how influential is Bill Sammon in the debate formatting?  From a Media Buzz interview with Chris Stirewalt about the debate construction:

HOWARD KURTZ: You’ve been to this rodeo before. How do you and Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier and Chris Wallace go about formulating your questions knowing the candidates are going to try to pivot to their talking points?

CHRIS STIREWALT: Well, the first thing is we have a secret weapon and that is Bill Sammon, who is the best at not only team cohesion and keeping everybody on point about what the point is, but in crafting the questions.

KURTZ: Washington bureau chief.

STIREWALT: Absolutely, he’s a managing editor and a great mind and a great journalist and so that is a big help. [Fox News, #MediaBuzz8/2/15]

The Washington Post also has an outline describing how Bill Sammon is who Chris Stirewalt, Megyn Kelly, Chris Wallace and Brett Baier directly report to for all debate issues, construction, and question organization.  In essence, Bill Sammon runs the show.

Perhaps that explains this earlier tweet:

Megyn Kelly tweet Stirewalt

This cutesy twitter conversation was based on a preview that Megyn Kelly and Chris Stirewalt were having on her TV show.

The tweet was also transmitted before everyone began finding out about the ambush set-up to target Donald Trump with an inquisition from Muslim Activists, Illegal Alien amnesty activists, and put CAIR front and center in the debate format.  Revealed HERE and HERE.  Bill Sammon calls this attack questioning approach, “Murderboarding“.

In addition, this revelation also explains why Corporate Fox News, driven by owner Rupert Murdoch, has been a staunch Rubio advocate and even went so far as to attempt to assist Rubio with secret meetings to organize Fox broadcasts for the Gang-of-Eight legislative priorities. – SEE HERE

In the hours after the decision by Donald Trump to skip the debate, it certainly looks like he took the wise and prudent path because the Fox Debate was indeed a total set up.

Trump thumbs up

Trump doesn’t AFAIK have any “friends” or relatives in media or Government – and not any in bailout bankster firms, or think tanks. DC-NY looks like something out of sub-Saharan Africa in corruption.

No, I think Rush will be voting for Trump. I can hear it when he talks about Trump. There is something. He says something askew once and a while not yo give himself away. He has a certain loyalty to Cruz…but that does not mean he cannot do whatever he wants in the voting boot. And he will not tell us. They are both successful at what they do. They really don’t care what others say or do because of their financial situation. They have both big hearts. They both have had different wives. Some similarities there.

    • Polar Vortex says:

Trump will vote for the republican nominee, whoever it is, otherwise his EIB network cash cow will crash and burn. He supported McCain and Romney, the two bastions of conservatism didn’t he?

    • JRD says:

Sorry, Rush’s ego cannot handle a President Trump.

      Time to wake up.

Rush gets paid to keep the sheeple voting gopE and keeps them on the reservation.

Rush still thinks Rubio is a good guy and cannot understand why the grassroots want the traitorous cretin Rubio DESTROYED!

      Rush is not your friend.

Trump worked hard and became a billionaire, then put it
all on the line for us. Trump is a workaholic.

Rush Limbaugh became a multimillionaire from folks like
us listening to his faux conservative rhetoric. He is no
different than Fox; he just used to hide it better. Now
he is shilling for the globalist backed Ted Cruz who isn’t
even eligible to be president, however, is another faux
      conservative. Rush is a talkaholic.

I am thinking that faux conservatives breed like rabbits.

Off topic, but Donald Trump’s for Vets has racked up $250,000 so far today before the event has even started. ( 3:45 PM Pacific Time) 1/4 Million $$$ !

Our strong support of The Donald & his charity event today will show FoxNews that bullcrap shenanigans like Sammon & Sammon will no longer be tolerated. (See…now I’ve brought it back on topic. Gold star for me.).

Debates from here on to forever have to be taken away from the corrupt media who make plans to destroy a candidate or throw softballs at them like ABC CBS etc. They just can’t be in charge and callit democracy. Too much money too much corruption. That is a movement I could support… no more media involved in OUR debates…. Period end of report. My dad used to say that.

The ethical principle of CANDOR suggests that you must tell people what you assume they would want to know. What FOX did with this Rubio situation is unethical. Withholding the information is an absence of CANDOR. Really creepy, rotten, low-down. NOT CONSERVATIVE behavior.

Yep. We should have a Nationalist Republic party because the old Republican Party open borders supporters do NOT have the best interests of our sovereignty, and the term “Conservative” is too nebulous because globalists also hide behind that label.

Patriot: a person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion.

Nationalist: 1.a person devoted to nationalism.
2.(initial capital letter) a member of a political group advocating or fighting for national independence, a strong national government, etc.

Funny how Cruz is acting all high and mighty as he tries to paint “Donald” as being scared of Megyn. I have a funny feeling he’ll be changing his tune post debate Megyn Kelly/Marco Rubio Show.

Funny how all the wise guy things Cruz has put out have all come back to bite him.

I put quotation marks around Donald, because I cringe whenever I hear Cruz call him that.
Actually, I cringe every time I hear that nasal thing that passes for a voice.

Yup. The guns are going to be full bore on Cruz. The problem with these status republicans is that they really do not understand that the drive bys literally hates anyone with and R after their names. The media’s goal is to first ensure the weakest possible GOP candidate gets the nomination then help demonrats slaughter that person in the general. Fools like McCain and Grahamnasty don’t even know whats going on so they endlessly snivel in the hopes of gaining a crumb from the masters.

So good ole Dan would hate to see Sessions leave the party… Sessions has pretty much been the sole member of “that” party that embraced conservative values for ALL Americans. He has spoken out numerous times about how poorly we have fared under the illegal invasion and what the TPP would do to American jobs/livelihoods. Dan is clueless – pity he has the right to vote.

Talking about unfair free trade, Japanese and Chinese trade deficits, and how it is all related to jobs.

And the reason we’re in so deep with so few jobs is the excessive regulations and burdensome taxes… and to make it worse there’s only two options that Congress can have: either they know, or they’re ignorant. (In one case they’re malevolent; in the other, incompetent.)

If the real goal of Cruz is to remove Trump from the race it was a very very smart move.

Since Cruz is not eligible if he wins the GOPe can say OOPs we do not think you meet native born so we are replacing you with Jeb the Twig.

Cruz mother was registered to vote as a Canadian citizen and he never gave up his Canadian citizenship until just recently. Native born he is not.

  19. Ron says:

Well Fellow Treepers Here is a possible scenario for Trump to mastermind everyone. He is doing the fundraiser but who’s to say that he asks the crowd should he go to the debate with say a hour to 30 min remaining. If the crowds roars then he will go because his people want him to. When he shows up it would show he is for the people, he already screwed fox with the ratings and money and it shows to all the clowns that say he is afraid of MK that he is not and they all shut the hell up. He once again proves he controls the establishment, media and no one messes with him.

    • LOL!

Seriously, ignoring it is the thing. THAT is the ultimate insult to the media. Nothing strikes more fear into them, than the public turning their backs. CNN was rabid today. They understand that they are up against an existential threat.

    • TexasRanchQueen says:

I hope Trump does NOT do that. He gave his “word” he was not attending, period. The people at the fundraiser came to see Trump and the show, it would be inappropriate for him to leave. I may be old school, but in my days a man’s “word” was as good as a handshake. Even Donald not being at the debate, he is still very much in every one’s mind.

The press realizes that they are getting body blows left and right, for having gotten into bed with bad government, and yet they’ve run off and retired off all the people who know what honest news looks like. The wailing and gnashing of teeth will only get worse.
