Here’s Why Ted Cruz Has Already Lost Iowa – Glenn Beck Lying Version…

Catch up mode…

beck and cruzLet it not be said that we fail to follow through.

Outlined below is part of the video from a 19 minute segment Megyn Kelly ran on her show allowing Glenn Beck to launch an attack against Donald Trump without any push-back.

The entire “interview” (actually a one-way diatribe) was targeted to a Fox audience that has not, and does not, pay attention to political comings and goings 24/7/365; in essence, the casual political follower.

There is a lot of misinformation in that entire exposition; but one very specific part of the misinformation that needs to be showcased, and, as luck would have it, exists within our archives – because of the intense importance the moment provided in understanding what was going on in DC.

More specifically, this is part of the accountability we promised in 2009/2010 when we campaigned for and financially supported the Tea Party Candidates.

The original Tea Party patriots, grassroots, supported Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz.  Many people in the past several months have asked when we discovered that Cruz was a fraud.  We have repeatedly outlined a very specific time frame when Ted Cruz’s “pivot point” was identified.

In this video (prompted to @03:10) you hear Glenn Beck mention when and why he gave up on Rand Paul.  Beck claims he became disgusted with the Senator when he made a deal with Mitch McConnell.  You only need to see about 30 seconds of it to understand.  Watch:

Glenn Beck then goes on to say the deal with Mitch is why he dropped support for Rand Paul and yet supports Ted Cruz.

Here’s the problem….

Actually, here’s the lie…

Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz made the same deal, together, at exactly the same time.

Stop – Repeat !

“The deal”, as Beck describes it, was actually real – and did actually take place.  The deal was to go along with Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell’s overall objectives, electoral objectives AND legislative objectives, as the GOP entered into the 2014 mid-term election cycle.

The deal, which few were tracking at the time, was a deal made just before the legislative Christmas holiday and just after congress returned the following year.   “The Deal” was made in December 2013 and January 2014.

Both Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz agreed with congressional leadership (McConnell) to go along with the GOP leadership’s electoral/legislative priorities.  That was the deal.

Here is an important, but again overlooked, video which took place on January 29th 2014 which discusses the current state of Capitol Hill, the state of the union and the upcoming mid-term elections.  Watch the whole video if desired -OR- just skip to @15:46.

Both Rand Paul and Ted Cruz agreed to stay out of the mid-term elections for incumbents at the request of Mitch McConnell.

Remember, this agreement is the set up to the Mississippi fiasco of 2014 with Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel.  The agreement gave both Rand Paul and Ted Cruz leadership approvals for their 2016 presidential race.

Glenn Beck chooses to remember Rand Paul, but conveniently chooses to forget Ted Cruz cut the EXACT SAME deal.

Ted cruz and rand paul

BACK-STABBING LAP DOGS – When Rand Paul was running for Senator in Kentucky 2010 the GOP machine and Mitch McConnell supported the other guy in the primary, Trey Grayson.

What Mitch McConnell does not want people to know:   Trey Grayson is now the head of Democrat Gabby Giffords SuperPac – He works with Robert Reich, Bill Clinton’s former Labor Secretary:

Trey Grayson, the former Kentucky secretary of state and Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2010, is running a political action committee formed by former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords that will try to elect Democrats who want to work with Republicans. (link)

When Ted Cruz was running for Senate in Texas 2012, Mitch McConnell supported the other guy in the primary, David Dewhurst.

Cruz’s resurgence was surprising for many reasons. Dewhurst, the current lieutenant governor, has the support of the state’s powerful Republican establishment, including Gov. Rick Perry — himself a Tea Party figurehead. Dewhurst has outspent Cruz nearly 3-to-1, even though major outside groups like FreedomWorks have backed Cruz. Dewhurst also had the benefit of a large personal fortune to aid him.   (link)

Both Ted Cruz and Rand Paul were strongly supported by the Tea Party, and would not have won without the support from the grass roots.  We rose up against their adversaries in the GOPe, and specifically Mitch McConnell.

However, in 2014, when they were needed most -especially in Kentucky- they choose to align with McConnell and stand on the sidelines.  Obviously, in order to reconcile his advocacy in 2016 Glenn Beck needs to overlook one participant in that “Deal With McConnell”.

But wait, yes, it gets better….

…. Or, much worse, depending on how you look at it.

Yes, we actually follow stuff this closely.  Even if we don’t write about every scintilla of activity, you can be guar-an-damn-teed we log it for later reference.  For exact moments like this when the truth, and the liars, needs to be revealed.

Remember the 2014 Mississippi Primary Fraud?

Here’s is a video/audio you must ABSOLUTELY listen to, in order to understand what’s going on today – AND – how radio host Mark Levin has been covering for Senator Ted Cruz for more than just a couple of months.

Listen, it is well worth a few minutes of your time.  Listen to it all.

You’ll note in the interview that Senator Ted Cruz seems to express disgust and outrage at the tactics being deployed by what he calls the “DC Machine”.

Senator Cruz states the campaign conduct in the Mississippi runoff was “incredibly disappointing” etc. and even goes on to say an investigation is warranted.

Eventually, we found out who paid for those racist attack ads, and who paid for the phone calls, and who paid for the Democrats to come out and support Thad Cochran in the Mississippi primary runoff.

Oh, we found out alright.

It was the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC)  FEC Filing LINK

nrsc 2

The NRSC, the actual Republican Party itself, was funding racist attack ads against it’s own party candidate, Chris McDaniel, in the runoff primary race.

Gobsmackingly UNREAL !

And… who do you think was in leadership of that NRSC making those decisions?

Any Questions ?

…. or do you believe the “I didn’t know”?

…. after all, he didn’t know he was a Canadian Citizen either; well, until fifteen months ago?

I am more and more concerned about Cruz. I don’t fault him for his desire to be POTUS. But, what your willing to do and say to fulfill that desire seems damagingly revealing for Ted. I am disappointed.

I read the whole article, watched all the videos, and followed the sources. Here’s my take:

The Glenn Beck clip didn’t specify what deal he was talking about, so we can’t glean, at least from that article alone, that choosing not to participate in the race against Mitch McConnell was what he was talking about, so the article does not make a successful case that he was being hypocritical.
As for their decision, I wish they had chosen to get involved, and since Ted Cruz has openly called McConnell I liar I’m willing to bet that so does he. A mistake, but calling avoiding something that could have tremendously backfired does not qualify as a conspiracy. That’s a severe exaggeration.
The website context for the NRSC isn’t provided, and I know people can make fake websites. A better case would be made to post a link to the main site itself, not just that pdf, to prove that it’s both authentic and in context.
I clicked on the link purporting to show the leadership of the NRSC, and Contrary to what’s shown on Conservative Treehouse, the NRSC website page does NOT list Ted Cruz as a leader or even a member. In fact it doesn’t list ANY of the three members attributed, and since the supposed screenshot isn’t dated I could not look at past leadership to see if that would be consistent.
The part about Eric Lycan, though even if true could just mean that he (Lycan, not Cruz) an opportunist donor, doesn’t even have any source at all!

      The case falls flat.

AND, I can say with certainty, because it is not a secret… Beck was very upset with Paul when he would not endorse Bevin against McConnell – he mentions every now and then when slicing/dicing polls and who he would pick for candidate… he often says, “because of what he did with McConnell in the Bevin race makes me suspicious”

This is just more conspiracy theory kindling for Beck haters…

This morning I have been thinking about how “we” as in the American people, were spared the gang of 8 amnesty because a very small percentage of people of the State of Virginia voted Eric Cantor out of office. A lot of us were obvious of the danger, but somehow the people of VA were guided to reject Cantor.

I think about Cruz the Canadian born Cuban, Harvard educated Lawyer, with full knowledge that he is not eligible illegally running for president of the United States with the help of the GOP establishment. And I wonder if the establishment thinks that within the next 8 years, if Cruz is elected, they will be able to form the North American Union which strips the United States of it Sovereignty. And Ted Cruz, the Canadian born Cuban president of the United States, would ease the pain for everyone?

I personally don’t think the Republican establishment is banking on Cruz. It seems to me that they are using his grandiosity to lure conservatives and then totally deflate them when Cruz is exposed (and he has so much baggage how has he been lured into thinking they want him?) and the nomination goes to their already anointed Jeb Bush. They get the North American Union much more easily without the blather and untrustworthiness of Cruz.

That is precisely why i am VOTING no politician.
Pols have placed the USA in peril of default and collapse, all by design and have become greedy, sly, deceitful, lying whores off the backs of We The People and taxpayers.

Cruz, Rubio were very silent in the Senate about spending, govt largesse, unconstitutional rule by BHO, over-reach by BHO and Admin, (did I miss their pressers calling for impeachment??), IRS scandal, VA scandal, DOJ scandal, Fast & Furious, Benghazi…

Mike Lee was not silent, neither was Jeff Sessions…but don’t recall Cruz nor Rubio speaking out???

I trust NOBODY on tv or the radio any longer. Levin has turned on Trump. Rush is simply being Rush, and that is all about his ego, importance, intelligence, name dropping of who he knows, golfs with, calls, etc. I’ve never been a rush fan and for those that are, have at it…just not.

Laura Ingraham has been fairly consistent and caused Cantor’s defeat by having Brat on the radio and campaigning for him.

FOX: turned them off 2 yrs ago..saw that handwriting then. NOT Conservative. Hannity, O’R, Megan, and a steady diet of fair & balanced (right) from Rove, Perino, Krauthamer, Geo Will, Geraldo, Juan Wms, Gutfield, Hume, ad nauseum listening to those mouths nightly….

I had high regard for Ted Cruz until I began actually looking into his background. Now that more and more truth about him is surfacing, I’m glad I made the decision to look for a better candidate.

I also had good thoughts about Glenn Beck until around mid-2015 when it became obvious he had totally lost his way. Beck’s open endorsement of Cruz confirms my suspicion about both.

I believe Cruz, Paul and the entire GOPe are very scared of Trump because they have been unable to find any “skeletons in the closet”; if there were any, they would no doubt have brought them before the MSM in their feeble attempt to destroy him. I have lost all faith in the GOP and all their Congressional reps.

  12. Last night I went to pick my daughter up from an event and tuned in the radio to Levin just to see what he was up to and heard him screeching as usual about the personal attacks on Cruz and how disrespectful Trump is and is a Progressive and needs to be defeated at all costs. This actually made me chuckle for a change instead of the usual anger…what a small little angry man Levin is. What about all the personal attacks on Trump BY Cruz? That is okay. What about all the flip-flops, the Wall Street money, the taunts, the jeers, the false ads, and now all this garbage in hiding.

Savage is the only one left to listen to. Levin turns out to be just as bad as Beck! Who would have ever guessed?

And to top it off, Levin was more than happy to stick up for Trump when Cruz was riding his coat tails to the top. I recall after Levin sticking up for Trump after one of the previous debates – not sure if it was the first FNC debate, or the CNBC debate, but Levin went off on them. Now that Trump punches back on his boy, it’s time to stop Trump at all costs. Weird how that works, eh? 😉 TRUMP 2016!

Cruz has received a significant margin over other candidates by the Military Industrial Complex according to Open Secrets. What gives with that – is he a warmonger like McCain, McNasty?

“Hillary Clinton has received more money from arms and military service companies than any other candidate during the 2016 presidential campaign, data from Open Secrets shows. All but one of the world’s 10 biggest arms producers have contributed to Clinton’s previous campaigns, giving her — along with the top Republican receiver Ted Cruz — a significant margin over the other candidates. The numbers, collected by the Federal Election Commission and compiled by Open Secrets, also reveal that Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders make the list of top 20 senators and top six presidential candidates to receive money from arms and defense companies.”

“It’s just [bull—-],” said a former member of the HAPI when asked about Cruz’s contention that he never supported legalization. “That’s what pisses us all off. Don’t throw us under the bus for legalization and not take on the nativists and the crazies when you wrote the language. Stand for something.”

The former HAPI board member, who asked not to be named in order to speak freely, described Cruz as a fully engaged member of the group. Cruz co-chaired a 2005 event featuring Gov. Rick Perry and served as a keynote speaker for two of the group’s events. And because of Cruz’s legal expertise, board members said they relied on him to do the first draft of policy positions, including HAPI’s support for immigration reform. When he ran for Senate in 2012, HAPI hosted a fundraiser to support his candidacy.

One is struck by Cruz’s arrogance in thinking he could get away with his denials of past support for legalization.”
