Spiteful Virginia GOPe Target Dave Brat for Retaliation…

Almost everyone is familiar with the most devastating loss for the Professional Political Establishment in the 2014 election cycle, the primary defeat of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor by insurgent patriot Dave Brat.

Fewer people recognize how devastating the loss was for the globalist DC elites who were less than two days away from approving the Gang-of-Eight Amnesty Bill known as “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”.

Boehner - Cantor- McCarthy - House-GOP-leaders-Dave Brat

With the vote count “whipped”, and with enough House votes to pass identified, Speaker John Boehner was set to hold the vote on Thursday June 12th 2014.  Cantor was defeated (primaried) Tuesday June 10th, and the “whip count” disappeared almost immediately.

The GOPe vowed to retaliate against Brat.  Last week they began to make their moves:

RICHMOND – Longtime Henrico County Sheriff Mike Wade will challenge Rep. Dave Brat for the Republican nomination to represent the 7th District in Congress.

Wade, 59, a former Henrico Republican Party chairman who has served as sheriff for 16 years, filed organizing paperwork for a campaign committee with the Federal Election Commission in December.

The filing puts to rest rumors that have persisted for weeks that Wade would mount a challenge to Brat. (read more)

I live in the district and support Brat. You need to understand that the conservatives in the 7th District have had enough of the GOPe and that includes lackeys like Sheriff Wade.

Cantor was an arrogant ass who detested his own constituents. We were a mere formality – to be tolerated every few years for a few months around election time.

Brat is the polar opposite – he’s a real conservative who ran on a radical platform otherwise known as the Virginia Republican Creed! While giving lip service to the creed Cantor never walked the talk.

I need to say that the liberal Republicans in the 7th hate conservatives. They have even tried to label themselves as being conservative which is highly amusing to those of us in the know.

Thankfully, Sheriff Wade should prove to be a deeply flawed candidate who would be a fool to debate the good Congressman. But watch out he clearly will have the votes of all of the restaurant owners in the district as you can tell from the photo (sorry I couldn’t help it).

When Brat was running, no one would give him money, many verbally behind closed doors supported Brat, but said they couldn’t contribute out of fear of retribution from Cantor. Donald J.Trump was one of the very few that donated to Brat’s campaign.

Please give a link. I’m in the 7th and a couple of articles actually stated Brat was getting outside money from an unknown source. I am not anti-Brat but watching it from inside, getting Cantor out was a joint effort by the Tea Party and moveon.org.

Cantor pissed Obama off at an Obamacare conference in 2010 and soon after we were inundated with Dems and moveon.org along with Tea Party groups working to get Cantor out. It was a stealth operation which was supposed to take out Cantor in 2012 but the 7th is very very Republican and although he lost support it didn’t happen.

Anyway, don’t be so sure Brat wasn’t heavily funded to do what he did, and to this day where the money came from is unknown. It’s naive to believe the reports that he spent $200,00 or something to Cantor’s millions. Actually, Obama’s and Bill Ayers friend from Chicago, Mike Klonsky, was writing all about Cantor’s big spending in Switzerland and his 1% lifestyle at the same time the liberal press was saying Brat was operating on a shoestring. It was a well-coordinated effort to get Cantor out by any means necessary.

Later, our local press had accounts of moveon members and Dems who crossed over and voted for Brat, even though he is a lot more socially and fiscally conservative than Cantor. Why? Obama/Jarrett don’t forget when a Republican congressman humiliates the prez and gets him to admit the truth about Obamacare(that thousands would lose their healthcare). They sent out their minions and the rest if history. Brat shouldn’t be worried about Wade, he should be worried the Dems will put somebody in and rig the machines.

I do not have a link, I worked on the campaign, and it is just something I know. Believe me or not, it isn’t a big secret by any means.

And yes, Dems voted for Brat, if anything it was the GOPe bringing them in to prevent Brat from winning. The whole slating thing was ugly politics. I never heard anything about moveon or any of it being connected to Obama.

I worked the polls, and did the door knocking, all kinds of people were coming out of the woodwork to vote for Brat, and it seemed to me most were turning out because of the sheer hatred for Cantor. Talk about your cold anger.

If Brat was heavily funded then we sure were all fooled, and the money went elsewhere, every thing we did was done on a wing and prayer, including food/gas. There was no money. The Tea Parties did work their butts off, in fact I have never seen so many people driven.

The annoying thing to me was he used the T-Party big time, but refused to be associated w/them. The GOPe was doing everything in their power to bring him down, Tea Party did all the work, and Brat continued to maintain that he was running on the Republican Creed, which he was, but he insisted on not affiliating w/them as a Tea Party candidate. He did not want to be labeled as such. The idiots at Bearing Drift and their ilk are like the Gore people, they will never get over Brat beating their boy. They are the ones Brat needs to worry about.

Does anyone else smell a Chris McDaniel type of situation brewing here (i.e. getting Dems to cross over, only this time in the primary), courtesy of the GOPe? Also, I think they got rid of Allen West using a similar trick.

    VIRGINIA VOTERS – IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!!

A grass roots campaign against the Virginia GOPe requirement to essentially force ANY primary voter requesting a Republican Presidential Primary ballot to sign a pledge BEFORE they can receive their ballot. Despite comments by the GOPe to the contrary, the pledge is intended to deter voters from exercising their right to vote. The DEMOCRAT enabled Board of Elections and the RNC / REINCE PRIEBUS are all supporting this attempt to water down Trump support in the Super Tuesday primary. This grass roots campaign needs massive support NOW!!!!

PLEASE!!!! If you are a Virginia voter, visit the website below and sign the petition. Let the GOPe LOSERS know that you’re not going to take their crap. This will take about as much time as it took thousands of Virginians to get tickets to one of the huge Trump rallies in Virginia (with more to come). When you’re done, PLEASE forward the link to others you know who support Trump.

Wade has been convinced by the Cantorites – the Bitter Cantor Clingers – to run against Dave Brat, the current congressman from the 7th District and the man that defeated Cantor.
Political insiders know that Mike Wade cannot win, but it is typical Cantor tactics led by Ray “I’m gonna bankrupt the Virginia Republican Party” Allen.
We all know the plan is to break Dave Brat so he will lose to a Democrat next November.
Typical establishment politics. The voters be damned.

I am in the 7th. I was extremely happy to vote for Brat in the primary, and later in the general. Cantor had been my rep the whole time he was in Congress and I only had a handful of chances to go to a “townhall”. I have been able to attend 2 events to ask Brat questions since he was elected and could go to more if I wanted to drive around the 7th. The tea party is supporting Brat and we were going to attend a 7th district meeting in his support that was scheduled for today, However, a federal judge ruled we have to change the boundaries of the district and the ruling only just came down in the last few days.
Mike Wade has been a good sheriff here in Henrico. I would not vote for him as rep, but he keeps my vote as sheriff. Henrico is the most populated area of the 7th, if I remember correctly. There are many here in our local government with political ambitions and allies in the state party. The whole state Republican party is a huge battleground between RINOS (Establishment) and Patriots. Cucinelli, case in point.
Brat is well aware of the problems we have with Washington. He is one of us and does want to restore us back to our freedoms.
