Another Look At Trump’s Immigration and Repatriation Proposals…

The topic of illegal immigration is a subject we have reviewed, researched and offered possible solutions for consideration for over four years. In Part ONE we outlined how illegal aliens achieve work in the U.S. and what would be needed to remove the incentive.

Any solution to solving the problem must first understand how the problem of illegal alien employment is supported by U.S. policy. In our opinion, removing those conflicting employment policies is something that has to be done.  A new example surfaced recently:

(Dade County Schools) […] Before hiring employees to work in the taxpayer-funded enterprise, the district of about 350,000 mostly Hispanic students likes to verify that candidates are in the country legally.

According to the Obama administration this is illegal and discriminates against employees in violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). So, the DOJ’s bloated Civil Rights Division went after Miami Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) for discrimination and essentially forced it to stop checking if employees are authorized to work in the U.S.  (read more)

We have now had time to review Donald Trump’s border security and immigration proposals. Happily, he, and those who advise him, appear to be right over the target.

In addition to PART ONE understanding illegal alien employment“, back in 2014 we shared the predictable impact of just enforcing the current U.S. laws on border entry – with the simple addition of a border wall.

Trump’s proposal carries: the border wall solution, the employment solution, the enforcement mechanisms of current law, and another angle that is strategically essential. “WESTERN UNION REMITTANCES” (Money Services Compliance):

[…] Meanwhile, Mexico continues to make billions on not only our bad trade deals but also relies heavily on the billions of dollars in remittances sent from illegal immigrants in the United States back to Mexico ($22 billion in 2013 alone)

[…] Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; [page 2, paragraph 7]

In April 2015, within another article written about actually solving the issue, in direct response to the flaws in the Gang of Eight proposal, we wrote:

Any actual immigration proposal will have substantive impact on the root causes and not just the illegal alien individuals working around the flawed systems to the benefit of their families.

illegal aliens major

As previously mentioned if any candidate wanted to get serious about stopping illegal alien influx they would have to put forth something similar to this:

If you want to begin a mass plan to deal with illegals, start first by eliminating Money Transfer services to Mexico (western union etc) Watch how quickly the problem begins to self-correct.

But no-one wants to actually propose factual solutions because both sides of the political spectrum actually want illegal aliens to continue doing what they’ve always been allowed to do.

♦ *Year one – Stop open wire money transfers (use same process we used for Cuban remittances). Require U.S. Treasury compliance form (SS and DL#) attached and accompanying every electronic fund transaction outgoing to Mexico and South America.

♦ *Year two – build a 15′ double chain link fence across the entire Southern border, filled with sand between both fences just like North and South Korea use. CCTV and Drone Monitored by DHS and Border Patrol.

♦ *Year three – Put Federal DHS immigration offices, INS, (or trailers – coordinate with FEMA based on demographics) in every State DOT office. Give illegal aliens 1 year to apply for green cards.

♦ *Year Four – require every business, corporation, sole proprietorship, etc. to have an employment compliance officer (can be a title added to HR person). Every compliance officer will be required to sign an annual form verifying employment eligibility for every employee in the company. Annual social security check (card check system) – Penalty for infraction:

• $100,000 fine per employee

• 1 year jail term for company owner, board of directors, and/or compliance officer.

At the beginning of year 4 you will see less than 25% of illegals remaining in the U.S. At the beginning of year #5 you will see almost negligible amounts of illegal aliens remaining. (link)

The thing that Trump needs to surface with open borders illegal immigration is the destructive effect it is having on American public health. Specifically it is importing America’s impending Tuberculosis (TB) epidemic.

This Obama Administration policy of having TB positive illegal alien children released to illegal immigrant parents scares the heck out of me from the point of view of epidemiology.

I am going to point everyone to this book by Thomas S. Kuhn so you can understand the Cener for Disease Control’s politically correctness driven inaction on TB in the age of mass import of latent TB infection (LTBI) illegal immigrants —

The Structure of Scientific Revolutions: 50th Anniversary Edition

Kuhn’s key point is that the only way that scientific paradigm change happens is over the dead bodies of those that hold the obsolete paradigm, while those that replace them hold the new scientific paradigm.

The CDC is made up of scientists just like the ones Kuhn described, scientists who have fought TB one way their entire careers and cannot think outside that paradigm.

They are so hugely locked into the existing “track, isolate and treat standard TB public health model” that they cannot acknowledge the reality that President Obama’s mass importation of unscreened for TB illegal alien children has already destroyed their life’s work.

The “Uniparty” political elites — as Sundance calls them — are statistical and epidemiological illiterates.

In the 1920s TB was the eighth leading cause of death for children 1-to-4 years old. Since then American public health has been so effective in preventing it that the USA no longer has any “herd immunity” to TB.

The CDC, Homeland Secuirty and Democratic party controlled urban public health agencies are playing a game of “hiding the TB Spike” via spreading out the illegal kids the way the Obama operatives at the US Census played with employment data in the fall of 2012 to help reelect Obama.

They have no real idea what that means for public institutions, our kids and other immune impaired. All they want is a US Amnesty to seal their power the way open borders sealed the Left’s power in California.

It is magical thinking all the way.

Only Trumps “Truth Speak” can break through and communicate the reality of America’s Impending Tuberculosis Epidemic.

      See this for the details:

I travel overseas for extended times. US monetary controls are already particularly obnoxious, and favor the banks. Any of this remittance business interdiction needs to be unobtrusive, non invasive for US citizens.

If draconian rules apply to Mexico and So America, they will likely spread like a disease. And the US has a long, long way to go to be a free country again. We can’t just keep giving or hammering away our own Rights.

There is truth to the fact they live on the dole up here, which frees up money to send home. I spoke with one Mexican who had an actual plan. He was here six years total. He was saving money and sending it home to buy and renovate a bed and breakfast next to a tourist resort. He had the land, house and his wife was redoing it. When he was finished, he was heading home to run it.

He hadn’t seen his family in a year or two. Nice guy with a plan. I get it. But he should not be living here free, or on programs and should pay taxes.

Also, immediately deport any illegal the local cops catch – even driving without a license, insurance, etc. No months-long wait to discuss, just return them. Refugee? You should have applied the moment you arrived. Bus them back across the border.

Require any immigrant to have a sponsor that will be responsible for any criminal and/or civil penalties, criminal as an accessory to the crime, with a bond in escrow to cover any debts or fines. They claim an immigrant is good, fine, let them take the chance and sponsor one.

    https://americanchaos.wordpress.com/how-to/

    http://www.endillegalimmigration.com/Report_Illegal_Immigration/

We all have to do our part as patriotic citizens who love our country to help Donald clean up our country. So many of these illegals invading our nation are rapists, murderers, child molesters, drug pushers, gang members. Who knows if they’ve been vaccinated against diseases? Even the “good illegals” might be bringing diseases into our country that we haven’t seen for a long time and spreading those diseases to you and your kids. We have been lucky so far that Ebola hasn’t spread too badly but that luck will run out. Luck is not a strategy for keeping our nation safe. The illegals have to go. Anyone who wants to come into our country must do it legally and he must provide proof that he is vaccinated against diseases and is not a criminal.

When you see an illegal alien you should report him. I’ve heard from folks in California that every Home Depot parking lot is crawling with illegals. If you see something like that you should report it to the proper authorities. I know, I know – with Obama still occupying the White House probably nothing will be done. But something might be done and it creates a paper trail. If an illegal has been reported and nothing is done and then he goes on to commit a crime then people will ask why nothing was done.

After President Trump takes office we will really have to help him by reporting illegals. Might as well get in some practice now!

Thanks for this, “Melania”! Sometimes I think we feel so helplessly angered & frustrated by the incredible lawlessness of this Admin, & the other forces working against us, that we forget that we hold ANY power.

In Mountain View, CA, there is actually a sign up at an intersection to indicate that the pickup area for “workers” is right ahead. As it looks just the same as any of the other, govt-installed signage around the area, I can only assume that the govt. paid for, & put it up. However, since pretty much the only “workers”, who assemble there daily, are illegals, it’s still fairly astounding that it is even there.

Hopefully it will be coming down during the Trump presidency!

Reporting illegals around here would be like reporting the leaves on a tree. It would be “so what?” Cops aren’t immigration police. Border Patrol and ICE aren’t helped by our government. Our sheriff has been sued continually and continuously for years for racial profiling because he tried to pick up illegals at Home Depot and such places. He isn’t allowed and no one is.
Best plan is indeed to make sending money a hassle, although hitting wire transfers is far from enough. Second might be to send them further south until a wall is built.
The day laborers are valuable to a lot of small contractors. Another class of people who benefit here from the illegals are the legal Hispanics who sell goods and services to them.

Where are their brains? Do they have ANY retention skills?

IF I were TRUMP, the next time that someone asks him how he’s going to send them home, I’d tell the “reporter” to look into the camera and repeat after me. “There is a new Sheriff in town. IF you are here illegally, go home. Otherwise, yes, we will find you and send you home ourselves Your choice. You have 30 days, starting now. You can choose the to self deport and take your chances with the new Sheriff. Either way, you will be leaving U.S. soil.”

I’m also thinking about when the deportations start for those in the country illegally and how that will play out nationally.
Of course, the courts are going to tie everything up and the national media is going to report daily on Juan and Selina Gomez being deported along with their three kids!
My question I guess… is the “anchor baby” law, law? Is it something to where the US can revoke their status with the stroke of a pen or would a court have to decide (which would take years)?
I know there is some precedent with the Japanese but that was in time of war.
I fall on the side of the sins of the father…sorry but you got to go. I can just see how opposing viewpoints (from ALL sides) will attempt to circumvent.

Fine them out the wazoo for a fund for anyone harmed by identity fraud and the enormous cost of fixing harmed citizens records. Allow school districts to sue any landlord or property owner for extra tax assessments for the cost of illegal alien children they are forced to educate. Make aiding and abetting criminal immigration law violation very expensive especially if the taxpayer has to pick up the tab.

There is another side to this that is often not talked about and that is the current welfare system for legal citizens. Whenever politicians make the claim that we have illegals here because “there are jobs Americans won’t do” there is some accuracy to that statement. That’s because the current welfare system discourages work and individuals have greater benefits by not working. I know numerous employers who cannot find people to take jobs, because the minute they do their welfare benefits are cut off. Or, the minute they go over a certain (small) threshold they lose their food stamps. There must also be incentives for legal citizens to work.

Therefore, it seems the entire welfare system needs to be overhauled at the same time. If employers can get out from under the heavy regulatory and tax burdens, they could actually afford to pay their employees more eliminating many whom would otherwise fall into the welfare system.

I disagree with Trump that our wages are too high. What he should have said is that these lower wage jobs are the entry to work as has always been the case and the free market sets those wages. Many of us remember that teenage fast food or grocery store job was the entry into the workplace and there was no stigma to these types of jobs.

Trump could set us on the path of massive employment by repatriating illegals to their own country freeing up those jobs for Americans and then massive infrastructure spending could employ people for decades to come.

  15. Maybe someone else has mentioned this as well along the thread, but one of the first things Trump should do when in office, is immediately round up the 300,000 – 400,000 criminal illegal aliens (i.e. those who have been convicted of violent criminal offenses), and immediately deport them. And I also think the Wall/Fence should be started immediately. We want to let the Mexicans know we are deadly serious about taking our country back from the forces of Evil and Satan. My guess is that many, many Mexicans will self deport within the first year. In fact, it would not surprise me to see many Mexicans start to self deport right after Election night (if Trump wins — which I think he will).

Reagan’s biggest mistake with his amnesty was letting border security happen later. It never did happen.

From the point of view of Congress, you have two years to get something done. Relying on the next Congress is either a foolish mistake or, what is more likely, a blatant dodge.

From the point of view of President, you have four years, to get it (1st year) enacted, (2nd year) funded and implemented, so that it can make a visible improvement (by the 3rd year), so that you can get re-elected (in the 4th year).

It was Truman who pushed the Federal Immigration and National Act of 1952 through Congress in the closing days of his administration. City, county or State officials that declare their jurisdictions to be “Open Cities, Counties or States are subject to arrest; as are law enforcement agencies who chose not to enforce this law. Police officers who ignore officials who violate Section 8 USC 1324a(A)[iv]b are committing a Section 274 federal felony. Well, good luck to him as the entire illegal immigrant industry in the US will pour all of its steam into keeping him and the government in court. Not only will the businesses that benefit from illegals/legals, better known as ‘cheap labor’ , but even though Obama will be paying his own rent the lie-minded cultural revisionists he’s planted throughout the government, especially DoJ, will still be plodding on with his agenda. There are also more than a few judges he’s appointed who’ll be termites in the judicial woodwork for decades to come.
Then we have the problem of how does one strip citizenship that’s been granted to an illegal by proclamation – that one could be in court for years and I don’t see any court revoking said citizenship. The time to effectively and realistically deal with those in-country has passed, it’s a done deal and we expect those Republicans (and a few others) who sat by and watched it happen be able to deal with it now – why?
To me the issue of the hundreds of thousands of potential Moslem 5th columnists who’ve bean let in by State, the POtuS and the UN are a far more dangerous issue and the ‘Mexican’ issue’s getting far too much attention in comparison – makes me wonder if it isn’t being used as a smoke screen. In either case I don’t see much happening with the ones who are already here as the political fallout from mass deportations would be a mess. The social engineers learned a few things over the last 25 or so years about how a mass migration can be used as a level to change the political and social structure of a targeted country (remember the mass East German migration to Hungary in 1989 that hastened the fall of the Bloc?) but we failed to learn how to deal with it.
Table’s been set so it’s how we deal with what we’ve been served that will determine what we’ll look like in 25 years. We haven’t effectively or realistically dealt with the issue for decades and to me it’s too late to do so now,. We’ll probably keep on dreaming that some white knight will ride in and sweep millions of people up and out that we couldn’t keep out, suspending the Constitution and due process in the mean time, but if past is prologue…

Wouldn’t it be likely that some of those of whom you speak might be effectively removed from positions via the felony counts they would have pending for aiding and abetting?
Not to mention the threat of a felony warrant might make some quietly resign and leave the US themselves before their warrant is issued?

Self-correction (self-deportation), stated above, is remarkably effective once the incentives are removed. I saw it myself with the passage of AZs bill 1070. Phoenix thinned out quicker than a flash. But, we were stopped in our tracks by the courts once the enforcement mechanisms kicked in.

I wonder how strategically bad it would be for Trump to assert that using existing law, he can take care of the problem without the legislative branch? The wall was approved long ago. He can ensure it happens. All other laws indicated can be applied and any which are apparently conflicting could probably be referred to the judiciary for review. Can’t the executive make requests for resolution of conflicting laws? Seems like there should be a way.

The responses from the legislative may be obvious — voting to strike down laws and create new ones to block Trump, but then they would have to own what they are doing and TRUMP would be extremely vocal about it. If anyone could turn the public against the legislators, Trump can.

Why can’t Trump stick with issues like the horrific jihadi refugee invasion in Europe and immigration here? It is a sure thing! instead of coming across as a raving lunatic and attacking born again Christians and women who wear wigs? I am getting real tired of the Trump show and I am a big supporter. I can tell you that Trump’s speel against Carson makes him look unhinged. I have no idea whether this hurts him or not, but who if anyone is advising him?
I am a regular reader here and I understand that everyone here loves Trump. I have been on his bandwagon since day one and sent money so no one can knock me.
To me this personal nasty attack on Carson may get him in the news for free, and of course Carson has major warts, but to attack the man’s faith, and the faith of millions who are born again variety, and call Iowans stupid? Geesh. I am just going to stop watching all of this because it is really disturbing to me. If he implodes we are finished and right now I am not very impressed with his emotional outbursts and quite frankly really disappointed. Reagan he ain’t. Palin he ain’t. He doesn’t understand evangelicals, middle America and that could hurt him.

Carson’s rise hasn’t been about issues. He’s been the “that’s nice” candidate to the moderately interested. Look closer and things may not appear so nice. Trump is bringing attention to the shaky foundation of Carson’s support. It will hurt Carson, probably to the benefit of Cruz, and put some distance between Trump and the field.

I don’t know. If the polls are real and Carson is showing strong support, at some point he needs to be addressed. I think Trump understands that the window is closing, and he is making a move before people start tuning out for the holidays. There is no real reason for Carson not to be attacked, especially if he is showing real strength in various states. He is running for a serious office, and I have yet to really get what he brings to that top level political office aside from being ‘nice’. Trump clearly has executive experience, clearly has the capacity to make hard decisions and hire good people, and has solid policy positions. I just wonder if we feel squeamish because on some level we have internalized the ‘mean Republican’ meme that the left has used so effectively against conservatives.

Carson is “nice” on the surface. That is all.

He was quite happy to pray for his secretary to disappear from his office because he didn’t get along with her or was unable to manage her properly, so he needed God to do the dirty work. Carson will not think twice to direct harm towards other and turn it around to present it as an excuse for self-beatification. He stated that God would remove all of the tumor and went ahead against the wishes of one of his patient’s family to attempt doing so. The result was a terrible disaster for the patient. He is indeed pathologically unaware of the well-being of others, only consumed with presenting a “nice” image of himself. These are the types we must be aware of, they are the trojan horse, the con-men, pathological types.

I say natural, because it is. See wolf packs, elephant herds, lion prides. Do the alphas from animal groups lead their groups to protect any other group more than their own, even another group of same species? Do they welcome competing groups into their territories? Even insects defend their own territories and homes.
Yet defense of our own has been labeled by increasingly harsh and judgmental PC epithets.

Since Mexico is sending them, at least on the southern border, and protecting them when they get here, I have long said they should just have 30 days to report to their nearest embassy for their immediate removal instructions. They know who they are.

Mexico needs to be responsible for their own overstays and illegals, and how to get them repatriated ASAP. They already have records of them. AND they know the real numbers here. Just ask the states giving them drivers licenses. That is now another entity that now has available records, at least for those that have signed up so far.

Hi everybody, longtime lurker, first time poster. I’m a huge Trump fan and consider this blog the best, bar none. I am a retiree who immigrated legally from Venezuela in 1979 with a wife and 3 kids. I studied here in the 60s, loved the country and thought about living here some day. It took us 6 years to get our green cards, having to redo all paperwork for the American embassy every six months during those 6 years (you can’t imagine how hard that is in the 3rd world). Immigration law was tough at the time, as it should be, and we had to prove we wouldn’t be in welfare, so I had to open a bank account in the US, had to prove a secure income, and a sister married to an American who lived in Chicago had to serve as my guarantor. But enough of me.

I was concerned about this for a long time but I think Trump is finally beginning to answer the immigration thing correctly, at least talking about E-Verify and self-deportation-by-incentive in his interview with Erin Barnett of CNN yesterday. But what’s coming will help him even more. I agree with smarty’s post above that immigration/terrorism/national security will be the most important factor of the elections, because in the next few months the world will see the full consequences of the Islamic/African invasion of Europe. As winter approaches, the images we’ll see on TV would make Dante proud.

Comments on Trump plan. 1 building a wall. It will be a fence. That alone can be defeated. 2. Increasing fees and tariffs to make Mexico pay for the fence. Odd. I like the idea of making them stop siphoning off cash from our economy, not sure this is the way. Neutral on this. Will probably get killed in courts or Congress. 3. Overstays- a great idea. Solid and can be accomplished. 4. Increasing ICE agents. Good idea and will be supported by Congress. Unleash the hounds! 5. All LE ideas good from gangs to detentions. Make it painful to be illegal and here. 6. Birthright. Good luck. Court issue. A long one. Should be rescinded. Then again Obama shouldn’t be President. 7. HB1 visas. Enforce the law and fine the companies HUGE amounts. Make it hurt!

But this is why they do it they save 65,000 dollars a person:

    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/11/12/apples-h-1b-partner-banned-underpaying-aliens/

8.Jobs programs and helping minorities. Nice extra punch. Good luck. That issue is far more complicated than just lack of jobs. 9. Love the pause idea. Taken from our own history. Pauses are good. Will allow for us to catch up on the people already here and register them and solidify our economy based on current labor resources.

I sense Jeff Sessions had a hand in this.

It’s not a fence. It’s a wall. The Great Wall of China is not called The Great Fence of China. Neither was the Berlin Wall. It was a wall, and it was effective in preventing East Berliners from seeking freedom in West Berlin – the other way around is equally effective. Did you hear Trump say a fence after umpteen repetitions or did you just mis-hear on purpose?

There are many things that can be done but the public is unaware of them.

1-Prevent Mexican nationals from owning real estate in the USA.
2-Use same immigration laws as Mexico. No naturalized person may vote in Mexico nor hold many occupations.
3-Eliminate unlimited visas. Make it last only as long as the passport and do not issue multi year visas to children under 10 years old? Why should a one year old baby be entitled to a lifetime visa?
4-Build a real wall, not just a double fnce, employ minefields, moats, and trenches, combined with regular towers and patrols. The wall should be based on the ones the Israelis employ.
    5. Any illegal who is caught a second time should be branded.
    6. Set up a regular cisa watch system and force a 5,000 bond for visitors from countries that allow illegal migration (Mexico, Central America, South America, Africa, and the Middle East). For other regions, if you over stay your visa re-entry will be forever prohibited. Insure this is marked next to the visa.

Offer legal residence to any illegal who turns in five other illegals.

  39. There is another scheme they use to rip us off. They have their women come here, have their baby, wala anchor baby. Then they get signed up for welfare, then they get themselves a sleazy lawyer who becomes their agent and has their power of attorney. Welfare sends the goodies to him, he cashes them out, takes a fee for himself and sends the rest to the woman IN MEXICO where she lives like a queen cause you can get so much more for a dollar there.

I think what they are trying to do is get us to a point where we may as well forget about our borders cause there is no difference….nothing to distinguish us from them. Rep’s and Dem’s alike are full in for this North American whatever thing……are they seriously calling it community?? smh I don’t want a community, I want my flippin COUNTRY!
