40,000 Frustrated Germans Show Up for Anti-Refugee Rally….

Wow, massive crowds. German nationalist movement sends shock wave through Merkel regime.

GERMANY – […] The Pegida movement has expanded rapidly over the summer as the migrant crisis worsened, with the crowds turning up to rallies growing by the week. The movement, which stands for ‘Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the Occident’, first emerged as an anti-Islam movement in October 2014, organising weekly demonstrations against what it termed the ‘Islamisation’ of the western world.

germany protest 2

It had all but vanished after pictures surfaced in January of its co-founder Lutz Bachmann sporting a Hitler moustache.

But it has made a sudden comeback since September, after Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the country’s borders to refugees.

Germany protest

Angry protesters have accused her of ‘treason’ and last week carried a mock gallows with Merkel’s name on it.

The protester carrying the gallows is facing a possible charge of public incitement to commit crime, with prosecutors suggesting that a suspect is to be questioned imminently.

Many of the banners on show at the rally today are directed at the chancellor, including one of her in a military uniform with a Euro armband.

Tension is heightened in the city as counter-demonstrators also gathered to protest the Pegida rally.

The chancellor today urged people to ‘stay away from those with hate in their hearts’, according to her spokesman. (read more)

Down the global river. It seems like the globalists want to subrogate the country to a global entity of some sort. In the U.S., a citizen can choose which state he wants to reside in without question. The globalonists want any citizen of the world to be able to choose where to reside, which nation to reside in, rather than the nation itself. Nations become states. States become counties. Borders become mostly meaningless.

      • In order for the global initiative to be successful, they have to destroy all sentiments of Nationalism, wherever (and why ever) it surfaces. By advocating (and implementing) “Open Borders” the globalists can use financial pressures to cause mass exoduses of economic migrants who will sap the financial resources of any country they are drawn to. Germany is a target in Europe because of the strong sense of German “Exceptionalism” among the populace. Merkel (and her ruling party) are just “tools” of the globalists, just like Obama is their “tool” in America, for the very same reasons. The only differences are the languages being spoken by the hordes that are invading.

Another sense of “National Identity” is the homogeneous nature of the populations of the northern European countries such as Denmark, or Sweden. Having a sense of “oneness”, be it through race, religion, or heritage (history) increases the propensity for any given population to maintain a degree of “Nationalism”, hence the need to herd large numbers of people of different races and religions into those areas. Given the climates in these countries, why else would the blacks from Africa, or the Muslims from the Middle East suddenly flood into the frigid zone? A sudden interest in cross-country skiing, or bobsledding? Yeah, right. They are being driven there.

On their home fronts they often face desperate economic situations (aside from the physical threats presented by the wars that the globalists financed to create the upheaval) and they choose destination “nests” that have already been (intentionally) feathered by the socialists (promises of financial support) to attract them like flies to honey.

None of this is accidental. This is a global plan that has been (at least) a century in the making. The groundwork (the creation of the “Nanny States”, as well as the disarming of the general populations) has been an arduous task, and it still requires one last hurdle to be vaulted before their success is total, or inevitable:

One way or another, from without or within, America must fall.

I frankly believe the border-less world would be a terrific idea, but then there’s a little problem. The humanity, and even the EU (which basically is about freedom of movement for people, goods, capital, tech and so on) is simply not homogeneous enough. In the US every (supposedly) speaks English, follows the anglosaxon Common law and the area is culturally built around the Judeo-Christian ideals of what’s called “Western civilization”. In the EU — you have 20+ languages and not all of them are nicely mutually intelligible (like Danish and Swedish, for instance) — but then still there’s sort of cultural integrity aka “European values”. I believe they’ve dug up their grave when they did not include anything like “Christian” or “Judeo-Christian” into any official list of “European values” (which really are social-democratic values, or so it happens to be at the moment). Unfortunately, the Greek / PIGS crisis has shown us those “European values” are not really enough to glue a good union; the EU is split “North”/”South” on the economic issues with “Strong Euro” camp, the “Weak Euro” camp and a few undecided countries in between. The “Globalized” world — if only it could’ve been a reality — would basically consist of people who currently happen to have a capacity of doing ok / be fully integrated in the Western countries. Other then the Europeans and their descendants — the “integrating” minorities are basically people from certain places in South-East Asia. But then there are fairly aggressive non-integrating minorities — such as most Muslims or people of sub-Saharan African descent or non-caucasian Latin Americans. Again, ethnicity is a bad filter, as at best you can have statistics, but nothing on a particular individual.
So, if you somehow removed all the “non-Westernizing” folks from the planet (which would be over the half of its present population) — the idea could be feasible. Go figure what these commies are up to…after all, they are the big specialists in forced resettlement and genocide of tens of millions of people annually. But I see other thing happening — since we cannot pull everybody up “to the Western level” — the West will be pushed down to everybody’s else level — which if fairly low a level as compared to the North American/EU/Australian/Japanese/South Korean status quo.
Hence, to hell with that horsecr*p. Until a way can be figured out how to pull most of the planet up to the Western level — the national states need to remain there and be a lab of a sort — at least, showing off the advantages of a properly organized society vs improperly organized ones.

Not our job, and has only built resentment when we have attempted it. I find it funny how for over 50 years we have heard all about the evils of Western colonialism in Africa and the Middle East, but once they got their independence they all descended into totalitarianism or anarchy. And now they are swarming to the very nations that were once the colonial masters.

If for some reason we did have to go back in, then the colonial model might be best for a couple of centuries, then perhaps we can try “freedom” again.

There are two “sins” of the “white” (this is a mental category, not racial; from this standpoint, the Chinese nowdays colonizing parts of Africa are just as well white) people that they’ve committed against Africa:

            They came to Africa
            They left Africa

Now that those things are past — JIMHO, the very best thing a white man can do for Africa — is pretend it does not exist. Stop all humanitarian aid, medication shipment and so on. Unfortunately, I do doubt such an effort is possible (that’d require the Chinese stop their African expansion as well).

Besides, exactly how much resentment is there in, say, Western Europe (rebuilt after WWII with American money)? Ok, that’s a white place, how about Singapore, Malaysia or South Korea, places in-transit from Feudalism at the beginning of the 20th century, but thoroughly upgraded after WWII using Western (mostly American, one way or the other) money?

In fact, success stories are one of the strongest arguments for capitalism with liberty (at least, the economic liberty / freedom of enterprise and association) and justice for all. The US has failed Iraq. Lybia is a worse place now, after the West has removed Gaddafi. But — there ‘ve really been success stories as well. Japan. South Korea. Singapore/HK/Taiwan. Chile. For one thing, a G-d forsaken African place of Botswana has been raised to a per-capita GDP of ~18k USD/year, which is more than an order of magnitude above the really poor African nations. Compare and contrast that to the great success of the commies, esp. when a similar capitalist-run counterpart is obvious. Cuba (vs Aruba). North Korea (vs South Korea). Cambodia. Venezuela.

If we really cannot leave the “4th world” alone — I guess the above pretty much summarizes the other possibility.

No it is not at all, its now a matter of survival, we must do all we can to stop the Islamification of Europe. These invaders are mostly Muslim, Muslims are 100% intolerant of any other faith, even their own faith if its the wrong type of Muslim. Muslims are the most racist people on the planet. Muslims will outbreed the Indiginous population, and Muslims are all leeching parasites, they refuse to work and pay their way in life, as they see infidels as their free meal ticket for life. They believe they are superior to non Muslims, therefore we are there to support them from cradle to grave. Muslims when in sufficient numbers will rise up and take overall control, killing any non Muslim, or forcing them to leave what they now deem as their Country. Muslims have one agenda and that is to take over the world.

Problem is even more difficult to fight against when coupled with the asinine policy of “political correctness” prevalent in most of the EU countries. The invaders come right into civilized societies aided by the many on-the-books policies of these welfare, socialist countries. In the above article, the Merkel administration position against the people countering the invasion is to not let that kind of “hatred” be part of the dialogue and national life of the German people. Remarkable that the “haters” are the people trying to protect Germany from this very freedom-incompatible invaders. And it is not as if Europe is not aware of the publicly stated aims of the various leaders of islam concerning the retaking of Europe and turning it islamic. The level of brain-deadness of these politicians in Europe is astounding!

Not clueless. Deliberate. Look back to Clinton in Serbia… the problems started w/ AQ types stirring crap up. Serbs knew what it was all about and reacted. Violently (read about the historic ‘job’ of the Serbs for the Hapsburg Dynasty. The literally reverted to their previous work in resisting the Ottoman Empire…for which they payed in blood and abduction of their sons to the OE) What happened to ROP migration to the US post 9/11? Increased by huge percentages. Somalia? Really? It wasn’t the persecuted Christian Somali’s brought in.

It’s now on overdrive, particularly in Europe. IMO, Putin who lamented the Serbian/Kosovo resolution as erasing 200 years of history, knows importing hordes of ME types, many of whom have a takfiri/salafist/Wahhabist background is not a recipe for success. In Indonesia, the same salafist types are the ones burning churches, etc. Used to be that crowd mainly hid up in the mountains and the Indonesian military would fly up in choppers, lots of gunfire heard, then fly back loaded w/ body bags, per my father who was working on a power plant up in said mountains.

Well, it already is happening here. There have been developed Pockets of Resistance in some states to try and stave off these 6th century barbarians. The states have been selected and certain states will have a larger concentration of Muslims. There is a list of 18 Mayors of cities in this country that have asked for more Muslims. Last week a letter was penned to President Obama by various Senators and Congressmen asking him to move faster to get these “refugees” here even skipping the “vetting process”, which as we know is a farce and the FBI Director has already testified before the Senate that there is no way to truly vet these people. Also, there has recently been reported a case of female genital mutilation in US.

I am tired and don’t have direct links for above. I glean my information on this subject from REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT WATCH, a daily blog that encompasses migration of “refugees” in this country, as well as Europe. Done by Ann Cochran and is amazing!

These same citizens of the world, plus around two hundred thousand more, protested the TTIP ‘treaty” a couple of weekends ago. This particular protest was a big deal based upon the size of the crowd, and its composition. Groups one would not expect to be protesting together found rock-solid common ground. Native Germans feel their way of life and heritage are being threatened with immediate dilution, and virtual extinction in the not-so-distant future. Meh, old war propaganda, don’t buy it. “Germany” only became a nation in 1870 (their borders have changed dramatically). Prussian leadership (not all of Germany is Prussian) defeated the French in the 1870s because the French had gotten mired in Mexico during the U.S. civil war. (The French can be very warlike and imperial — think Napoleon, vast worldwide empires with holdings around the world, including Mexico for a time)
      https://history.state.gov/milestones/1861-1865/french-intervention

I don’t think of the Germans as warlike. The Germans I’ve met are more farmers, gardeners, teachers, mechanics, engineers, musicians — and their national management has lived under very strong U.S. influence for a very long time. The stereotypes don’t fit.

I enjoyed the article, thanks for the link. I’d read about the ancient history of Trier from an old tourist video. The Romans built many major structures that still stand in Trier from that period of “Italian” domination (although we don’t generally think of the Romans as simply Italian, the Roman empire was huge and far-flung, including the current “Middle East)”.

I don’t think of “Germany” as a nation until about 1870, when Bismarck & Co. pulled a new nation together from many small separate parts.

German was a widely spoken language, with many variants (including Yiddish, Plattdeutsch, Swytzerdeutsch, etc.),
          http://www.britannica.com/topic/Yiddish-language
and German-speaking people got around, for example Symeon of Trier:
          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symeon_of_Trier

Some of the Germans I know are descended from refugees kicked out of Scotland following a Scots rebellion against the British in the 1750s (that also propelled many Scots to the current USA).

“Germany” is in a central location where people and ideas came through in abundance, fed by beautiful landscapes, brisk climate, abundant water and adventurous people who love to travel. Germany seems relatively diverse and not-monolithic to me, despite endless propaganda broadcasts, leftovers from WWI and WWII.

Hope they manage to pull through this invasion relatively unscathed. There’s a lot I like about German culture, and I would be sad to see the good things disappear.

They also have the money to retire in a gated home in another country, if they ruin their own country.

What most Americans (except those on this site, I would bet!) do not understand about Europe is that despite the notion that Europeans are sophisticated and nuanced and one-worlders who think the European Union is a counterweight to the USA, the facts are much, much different. Europeans are clannish, ethnically driven, and very parochial in their thinking. For example, snobby Parisians are also hated by those in the south of France; Bavarian Germans mock their northern “Prussian” countrymen, splits between northern (richer) and southern (poorer) Italy; Catalonian versus Castellano languages in Spain — and even in Switzerland, the “rösti [hasbrown potato] divide” — the border between German-speaking and French-speaking Swiss (the latter have no idea what this typically Swiss-German side dish is). Also, for all their “nuance” modernity, let’s remember that most of European countries are still nominally monarchies: UK, Spain, Monaco, Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein.

The current anti-immigrant movement is not because it’s an affront to the Republic of France or Kingdom of Spain or the Federal Republic of Germany, but because it threatens the traditions and way of life of Bavarians, Swabians, Alsatians, Catalonians, etc. The problem with this ethnic-based fervor is that there is never a unifying leader who is not a power-mad, land-grubbing thug: Napoleon, Hitler, Mussolini come to mind. There is only one reason — and one reason only — that there has been peace in Europe for the past 70 years: it’s because the United States of America has 40,000 of its military (used to be twice that) and an arsenal of weapons stationed in Germany to be sure that Germans behave on the world stage.

Unfortunately, the patriotism that Americans know — love of country and truly celebrating unity — is totally unknown in Europe, where patriotism = nationalism, the ugly side of pride in country. Most Europeans who take the time to comment nicely to me on political events in the US wistfully tell me that they wish that their countries could have something as fun, upbeat, and positive as a Fourth of July. Bastille Day (celebrating the storming of a prison to release a couple of drunks) is a jangle of loud French people singing a militaristic national hymn; October 3 (Unification Day in Germany) celebrates nothing particularly German — but rather the unification of halves of only part of a former empire, all of which was made possible by the sheer might of the US military forces and the destruction of the Iron Curtain by Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan.

So this anti-immigration that is sweeping Europe, from the UK to Denmark to Germany to France to Italy to Spain — will either end very well, or, if history is our guide, will end very, very poorly. Jews were not both an economic threat and an ethnic threat to Germans, which Hitler capitalized on. There are now hundreds of thousands of Turks (guest workers) who have been in Germany for a few generations now — still largely unassimilated. Add several hundred thousand young Muslims from the Middle East, and a recipe for a repeat of genocide is in the making . . . .

ZurichMike, thank you for offering your perspective. I admit I do often analyze the occurrences in Europe through my American glasses, imagining that Europeans share the same ideas for relatively the same reasons.
Only historical perspective of real ousting of muslim invaders that comes to mind is when Spain purposed to drive out the Moors, but that was after 600+ years of muslim occupation which I feel is beginning to experience a real renaissance.

I am going with history here and say it will end very poorly for the “non assimilators”. We all know they are really invaders not just benign sounding people who don’t assimilate. In every country they infest they make social demands to accommodate themselves while giving middle finger to
    locals.

There has to be a better word rather than genocide that is more suited for defending one’s homeland.
Mike beyond the Swiss are Euros properly armed albeit illegally in your estimation?
While traveling in Russia I found that there was no shortage of guns despite laws, this to me was a very good thing.

I’m not so sure it’ll go that way, PreNanny.

The European man of today – after 40 years of political correctness indoctrination and training – is not the same as the European man of the 1940s. Neither is the American man, with exceptions such as those who staff our police, military, and professions that require honest labor..

Europe’s best hope may lie in the lower-working-class “football hooligans”. If they can be coalesced around sufficient command and control leaders, maybe Europeans can prevail. Maybe PEGIDA is the start of that.

But they’ve got their work cut out for them because feral viciousness comes natural in the society of their invaders – sorry, “refugees”.

          “entitled”

By the doctrine of their cult they are entitled to all the property and the very flesh of the non-compliant to their cult, the “kufar”, the “infidels”. Their entitlement to the flesh of the non-compliant is manifest by their rape and murder of the non-complaint.

Your mention of the ‘entitled” aspect of their mindset is invaluable because we see their aggressive violence but have yet to truly understand their perverse sense of entitlement and righteousness the result of their demonic cult creed.

Seems to me that a Gentleman by the name of H.G. Wells wrote a story called The Time Machine about the likely outcome of this mass colonization of the non-indigenous people into a land. Perhaps a bit of a stretch of the imagination, but still relevant in that you shall have one race fighting another.
