The actual poll will not be released until tomorrow. However, Public Policy Polling (PPP) has released some twitter previews of what the poll contains. Now people will understand why the North Carolina Republican Establishment has changed the rules.
The GOPe have rewarded North Carolina for making the decision to use “proportional assignment” for their primary delegates.
The proportional distribution helps Team Jeb, because they are counting on winning delegates with low support numbers. This was always the plan within the GOPe road map.
As you can see Donald Trump has now up-ended this GOPe scheme, and if party bosses don’t immediately change the rules, Trump will dominate the delegate support.
GREENSBORO — The state’s GOP leadership believes it has positioned North Carolina to be a focal point for Republican candidates seeking the 2016 presidential election.
The state Republican Party’s executive committee met at the GOP Headquarters in Greensboro Saturday and decided to divide its delegates for the Republican National Convention by the number of votes presidential candidates receive instead of using a winner-take-all system, often used in states that have primaries shortly before the convention.
When state lawmakers agreed to move the presidential primary to March 15, that gave the state’s Republican Party the ability to decide which method to use.
A.J. Dauod, the Sixth District Republican chairman, said Sunday the Republican National Committee also gave the state party 72 delegates, instead of 12, because of the move. That makes North Carolina the state with the sixth highest number of delegates at the convention. (read more)

[…] While the executive committee debated which method to use, the party’s central committee was meeting elsewhere in the building to select a new executive director for the state’s party.
The committee selected Dallas Woodhouse, the former state director for Americans for Prosperity and current president and founder of Carolina Rising. Woodhouse, a native of Raleigh, succeeds Todd Poole, who resigned from the position Aug. 31. (more)
Here’s more about Dallas Woodhouse who is an establishment GOPe tool:
North Carolina – Dallas Woodhouse, former head of AFP’s North Carolina chapter and the Pat McCrory / Thom Tillis-aligned Carolina Rising PAC, was officially hired as executive director of the North Carolina Republican Party. (Sources tell me it was made known to the state party leaders that GOP leaders in DC strongly favored the hiring of Woodhouse.) Carolina Rising took some heat earlier this year for allegedly being involved in push-polling and primary candidate recruitment against key GOP state senate leaders. (more)

The RNC and Rove’s plan will not work if we can keep the voters aware of what they are doing, then it will back fire on them!

Trump must stay one step ahead of them. Switching all of the rules around should make people take notice and ask why. Wake up America. You are being fleeced by the GOPe and the media.

Rand is also seeking a work a round for election laws in Kentucky.. Since he’s running for Prez & his senate seat.. Imagine that, a politician seeking to side step existing law. Go figure..
LikeLiked by 3 people
I think his “workaround” will be the fact that he has zero viability as a Presidential candidate. If Kentucky’s law is like similar laws in other states, it just means Paul can’t be on the ballot as a candidate for both President and Senator. Dropping out before the Presidential primaries will enable him to run for re-election as a Senator.
And, I do believe he will drop out before the first primary. His dad made a good living from running every four years as a no-hoper, and I’m pretty sure the younger Paul has absorbed his father’s wisdom and experience on that count.
Paul has done some good work as a Senator, and I’d like to see him continue to do good work there. Hey, I might’ve even considered voting for him in the primaries if it hadn’t been for the rise of Trump.
As it stands now, though, I’m voting for Trump, either as the Republican candidate or as a write-in.

It’s “The North Carolina Delegate Shuffle” performed by Karl “Kanned Ham” Rove and The Moneymen. They hope it charts better than “The Boehner Bunnyhop”, because Karl and the boys need to counter that big hit from Donald “The Wall” Trump and his Vulgarians,”Make America Great Again”.

Neither Rand nor his father are “Presidential”. They both lack good judgement by not being able to see that about themselves. Rand should stay in the Senate. His voice and ideas are needed there.

They might be better used “elsewhere”. Private practice, community organizer in Antarctica….

Rand should have saved himself from being one who owes favors to McConnell & stayed in senate instead of running for president & paying for KY caucus. Now he’s going to be on KY ballot for no reason.
I know he’s got some of his father’s crazy genes & apparently his ego.

I had CSpan on for 1/2 hour tonight & I do not see how Ted Cruz can go back to the Senste. I like Cruz, he’s honest, and I hope with Borhner out & mcconnell out soon a republican can win presidency next year. I had doubts with every single candidate (based on GOPe promises & BS before I read here) that someone if it’s Trump, take Ted Cruz & appoint him to AG or better yet SCOTUS.

“the Republican National Committee also gave the state party 72 delegates, instead of 12, because of the move…”
WHAT? The rest of the states should be FURIOUS with the RNC. Now our votes are worth LESS because some jerks in another state agreed to reshuffle their chairs? Does EVERY state get sweetheart deals or just the ones you NEED???
I swear to goodness, these clowns at the RNC have no idea what they are playing with.
While I am animated I hope someone keeps an eye on where Boehner’s minions slither off to, especially his chief of staff. Anybody who picks up these losers is suspect as well.

My state, Colorado, officially forfeited its delegates recently. The official reason given for this move is that it was in protest of the RNC’s last minute rules changes, but I suspect the move was actually made in support of the GOPe.
Coloradans are pretty independent-minded, and so I think Trump was in good position to win here.
It saddened me, not just because it means my primary vote means nothing, but also because it exposed Steve House, who successfully ousted GOPe tool Ryan Call for chairmanship of the state GOP, as a GOPe tool himself.
So disappoint. Much sadden.

(There may be better sites)
Looks like a formula to take something simple and make it complex and shenaniganizable.

Prothonotary Warbler, hi there. Don’t fret too much. We’ve got good ground peeps in Colorado (grassroots) and the word is the change was actually to block the GOPe from manipulating the delegates there on behalf of Bush.
Of course, this is all in a state of flux and subject to change, but here’s a perspective that might make you feel less disenfranchised:

The GOPe is going to have a literal war on their hands if Trump gets far and away the most primary and caucus votes yet doesn’t get the nomination. I understand that they would rather lose to Hillary or Biden than win with Trump, but they should start worrying about a second amendment solution.

He was always one of the splitters. His entire purpose for running was to keep a grassroots candidate from winning South Carolina, an early primary state, thus blunting the potential for a non-GOPe candidate to get an early lead in the delegate count.

I’m thinking about and researching starting up a PAC or sPAC here in NC and calling it the North Carolina branch of the Conservative Treehouse (NCCTH)… good idea? Advantages to being a PAC? Disadvantages? Does the admin give consent?
With the election of Woodhouse over the weekend and the passage of NC HB373, I feel a real sense of urgency to start to coalesce the anti-establishment movement in the Old North State. Any ideas or different approaches?
I have personal connections to both the former Mayor of Greensboro Bill Knight and former Congressman Howard Coble, both very conservative, that I may be able to talk into supporting this group or help gain support.
Thoughts? I’m just researching at this point

So far, Trump will get 19 NC delegates instead of the 12 he’d have gotten under WTA. Assuming there are fewer candidates when the primary is held, Trump could end up with a very substantial haul of Tarheel delegates. Love it when a plan comes together….
