When did the CTH website start to auto refresh? Annoying when trying to post comments.
I sympathize with you. I’ve had that exact problem in the past on my iPhone (using the iOS version of Brave browser or Apple’s Safari browser) and was never able to isolate any particular cause. The unexpected sudden refresh would wipe out any comment that I was in the midst of typing. GRRRRR…..
I’ve never had that happen when on my 2015 Apple laptop using the Brave browser (in macOS Monterey).
The sudden auto-refresh is obviously triggered by some Java script running in the page, possibly due to Advertisement script or some other timed script. But blocking Java script also means disabling some of the needed CTH page functionality so that’s not an option.
If anyone can solve the problem it needs to be announced for all to see.
