The BGI Attack The Hand That Feeds Them…

When you write articles no-one reads; produce news shows no-one watches; pontificate opinion no-one else holds; you end up in a downward spiral. CNN downsizing now faces the ire of the BGI.

(Via Daily Caller) The brawl between CNN and a black media group just got nastier.

CNN-largeCongressional Black Caucus

In a statement released early Saturday morning, Congressional Black Caucus Chairwoman Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) said the recent cuts at Time Warner are “troubling.” Specifically, though, its layoffs of African Americans in senior and executive roles at CNN, the company’s flagship news organization, that are particularly “concerning” for her.

Her statement comes on the heels of a few weeks of rough relations between CNN and the National Association of Black Journalists. Last week, NABJ condemned the practices toward black employees at CNN. This week, CNN supposedly pulled funding requested by NABJ for a jobs fair. According to Politico, CNN disputes that it has reached any final conclusions on the matter and that funding has not definitively been pulled. (read more)

Classic conundrum. Do you fire the low hanging fruit and cut vanity programs or do you cut the productive groups and keep the low productive execs just to placate the radical groups?

This classical conundrum assumes there are productive groups. Is that still the case at CNN? Maybe the lawyers that negotiate the contracts with airports to keep all channels on CNN would count as productive?

A few years back I had a to-and-fro with a local radio host asking why there is a BET, but no WET? He replied by calling me ignorant. I told him, yes, I am ignorant about certain matters, and have no shame about it, since ignorance is something that could be remedied through study and learning while stupidity, on the other hand, is a life long malady.

He promptly cut the call and called me a racist, since he was “mixed” (1/8th black-something I was unaware of, but wouldn’t have cared about one way or the other). He then launched into a huge on-air tirade about “rednecks” who propose that there should be a NAAWP are all toothless ignoramuses etc etc etc. The stupidity ran deep in that one.

But, I’m all FOR the establishment of a United Caucasian College Fund, a National Association for the Advancement of White People, a White Entertainment Channel, and a Congressional White Causcus, among many other things. I guess I’m just ignorant.

No, to be in the KKK you either have to be a Democrat, or a FBI undercover agent/agents provocateur. Maybe both.

Take a look at http://www.ranker.com/list/famous-ku-klux-klan-members/user-x and see if you recognize any of them… Truman, Wilson? Two stalwart socialist Presidents…. McKinley, Coolidge, Harding…

Makes one wonder just who else in Federal Service is an active member or supported the bastard cause of the “Klan” past, or present.

It is unfortunate that the truly vacuous and uninformed equate people who espouse viewpoints that are positive about Caucasians are lumped in with a bunch of socialist, gun-control & pro-slavery clowns.

It is a caricature as offensive as Nazi depictions of Jews. It is defamatory and does nothing to assist non-Caucasians in working towards a better world with Caucasians.

Grievances? I ran out of sympathy for them quite some time ago. I used to, until the cultural programming wore off. You may consider it to have been a “sympathy-ectomy”.

    • Just like deficit spending on the national budget, the overdrawing of the race card will continue until this government is removed. At this point, they have no choice but to keep doubling down.

Add it to the whole list of other overdrawn accounts this administration is going to saddle us with upon leaving – from the mundane ones like Social Security, MediCare, ObamaCare, Wellfare, Food stamps, Section 8 housing, foreign aid, etc; all the way to funds of trust; Trust in government officials, in CDC, in NIH, in military’s top bras/political leadership, good will toward foreigners, etc.
Obama has overdrawn all these accounts, but most grievously the good will and unending trust and forgiveness for him. He’s made America live on credit, on loans with unaffordable interest
The Usurper has plundered our national stores, looted our treasure chests, stolen anything we’ve ever fought for, died for, stood for. He made this nation live on credit for months now, and there are no indications he might be slowing down.
O’dumbass has bankrupted this country – both financially and morally.
The next time he or ‘his people’ try to use any of these ‘cards, like social justice, racial discrimination, disparate impact, affirmative action, protected classes or white privilege, the card should be taken away from them, cut into pieces, and thrown away. Maybe that will make him go the hell away and never come back.

(What more proof does the television public need that CNN carries water for the BGI. This “brawl” isn’t happening between Fox and CBC or BGI now is it? I think this is bad press for both CNN and CBC and I hope they keep it up. The nastier it gets, the better.
Think of it as a love affair hitting a public rocky patch! Let’s see if CNN winds up sending roses with an apology note for racial insensitivity to the its beloved.

I’m waiting for the CBC to show all of us THEIR diversity! Amazing how “diversity” is ALWAYS a one way street. There was a demonstration in Fresno regarding the addition of a African-American studies curriculum there. It seems (horror of all horrors) that the school board hired a WHITE teacher to teach the newly formed African-America studies program. The black ministers are demanding that a black be hired instead.

So, if I get this correctly… Black so-called “Ministers” are demanding racial restrictions on who can teach what? That would seem to fly in the face of Brown v. Board of Education and be more in line with Plessy v. Ferguson and the establishment of Jim Crow.

Now, will they insist that ONLY Black students can take the Black curriculum? Will there then be a defacto White curriculum? Where will that leave the mixed race people? The Asians? What of the Purple Penguins?

I think I could CLEP out of the Black History curriculum. They might not like my essay, though and that makes me haz a sad 😦

Most of the time there is no conflict between liberal groups. Most of the time, they have a common answer to everything….. more government money for everybody.

    more $$ for welfare
    more $$ for food stamps
    more $$ for abortion clinics
more $$ for for public schools
    more $$ for midnight basketball
more $$ for free obama health care

Doesn’t matter what the liberal cause is. Just spend money on it.

New problem pops up? No problem. We’ll spend new money for that on top of what we are already spending on everything else.

However, every now and then…… there will be fights pop up between the libs.

One of my favorite instances was a time when AIDS research was being done on rats. The homosexuals were absolutely in favor of that but the animal rights wackos were outraged by it.

    Good times 🙂

  13. She is toast. Affirmative action stuff is fine as long as it is persecuting white people and calling them out. But to bring this up about the MSM of which white people have no involvement. Time Warner will either fire some whites and hire some blacks to amuse her greivance , or the owners of the MSM will make her gone.

News is show business these days. When you pay Anderson Cooper $11 million/year, its like the NFL , you hit your salary cap quickly and you can’t afford to have a bunch of black supernumeraries on the payroll drawing salaries but getting no ratings. I have noticed CNN does have more Hispanic reporters ( most of them not very good) and with ebola its quite apparent Sanjay Gupta is stacking the deck with medical experts of Indian descent. Of course there is a reason for this. CNN is a global network and Sanjay Gupta is, apparently, a major news celebrity in India. Latino reporters ( presumably bilingual) can also be used to provide CNN newsfeeds to Latin America.

This is what low IQ people like Fudge don’t understand. Business, including news, is global these days. Black American reporters are not assets overseas. I would bet 50% of CNN’s revenue is derived from non US markets. That said, I notice one of its London anchors is black but I doubt Fudge knows or cares about that. It is also the case that CNN now goes wall to wall on major stories. MH-370 coverage was round the clock for weeks. CNN did have a black airline pilot as part of its aviation ‘expert’ panel but realistically, beyond a pilot, the number of America blacks with expertise in aeronautics or even African infectious diseases is going to be limited. Ain’t no black American doctors in Africa providing care to the poor.
