A rather interesting dynamic is finally being exposed on a large scale.   Here is my humble attempt to explain what’s going on.

Following the modus operandi of the Obama administration the Bergdahl issues are in full alignment with a consistent White House pattern.

It is sometimes easier to use analogies to help understand the facts behind what is taking place.  So, here goes….

Think about this administration as a travelling show projecting an appearance outward to an audience.   The stage they construct is filled with visual aides for their performance.  The audience is two-fold and hence the strange appearances, and hypocrisies.

Barack Obama discusses Iran

Screenplay discussions:  (L to R) Denis McDonough, POTUS, Tony Blinkin, Ben Rhodes

The primary audience is the American electorate.  Think of us as the larger audience seated in front of the stage and watching the presentation, the show.

Behind the stage is a smaller audience, who cannot actually see the show taking place, but they are given a play-by-play explanation of what’s taking place on the other side of the curtain.   That smaller audience is Congress.

Here’s where it gets interesting.

There are people (part of the stage crew), given an important job.  They are tasked with watching the show ‘out front’, and then running back to the congressional audience to share what they witnessed.

We’ll call them “The Tweeners” because they are both out front and backstage depending on the timing and communication need.

The ‘tweener’s, are telling a different story than what’s actually being showcased on the stage.   Much of what they are sharing is deceptive, hence the confusion.

It’s as if there are two different play scripts; two sets of talking points, both set to the same music.

On the stage you have the White House Dancers, the “performance team”.  Denis McDonough, Tony Blinkin and Ben Rhodes constructing a storyline and narrating to the primary audience, us, what the actors/dancers are doing.   They are backed up by DNC staff led by Debbie Wasserman Schultz.   The imagery and on-stage cinematography is projected by David Plouffe.

In the backstage area you have DNI James Clapper, CIA John Brennan, Joint Chiefs Chair Martin Dempsey, and various cabinet level officials explaining to the upper-crust Congress what the short summaries from the ‘tweeners’ mean.   The cabinet is backed up by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

Because of their important role the ‘Tweeners’ are a deep bench.

They are also the liaison’s to shuttle performance explanations.  The most worked and visible of them is Susan Rice but there’s another entire division called The State Dept., which is similarly tasked with the same responsibility, and additionally to a blind audience outside the stadium.  The State Dept. has control over the PA system.

The smaller congressional backstage audience must be kept happy for they are the check writers, and financial approvers for the continuing tour costs.   [We buy the tickets, but the money ends up in the hands of the congressional audience]   So the congressional audience must always believe the show is a grand, and worthy performance – regardless of the actual opinion of the ticket buyer.

If a laugh track is needed, or the sound of a standing ovation, McDonough, Blinkin or Rhodes will hit the right button and speakers will amplify the sound of applause or laughs – regardless of what the audience actually does.

The audio visual company, contracted to travel with the Tour, are the Main Stream Media.  They too have a vested financial and employment interest in the continuance of the show regardless of audience approval or merit of the performance.   So they work hand-in-hand with the stage crew.

Lighting, camera work, sound etc. everything done for maximum positive effect by the MSM.    Their visuals and presentation are used in the promotional material for the next venue to insure the seats are filled once again at the next stop.

The problem arises when either a) a congressional member walks out front and sees the show is not as it is being described. Or, b) a regular audience member walks back stage and tells the upper crust the explanation afforded in their direction is not accurate.

The formula is complex, the stage performance relies on meticulous execution.   Sometimes mistakes are made, and we witnessed this in the performance of “The Curious Case of a Dead Ambassador and Benghazi-Gate”.

This year, in the “Trading Private Bergdahl” show, the curtain came up with bugs still being worked out.   Gitmo-5 and the Talibans had not even completed their sound check.

Example: Yesterday the Stage Crew and MSM told the audience:

However, that’s not what the Tweener’s, nor the cabinet spin masters, told their backstage congressional audience.

And some of the non-seated sheeple noted the differing explanations.

Enter the State Dept – over the PA system – to resolve the discrepancy:

(NRO) – A State Department spokeswoman admitted to reporters that President Obama’s team had no specific information suggesting that Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl’s life would be in danger if news of the recent prisoner swap went public before the exchange took place, even though the Obama team has cited the danger to Bergdahl as a reason for declining to give Congress the legally required advance notice.

[…] Harf’s public statement seems to contradict the claim made by an anonymous administration official “that we had both specific and general indications that Sgt. Bergdahl ’s recovery — and potentially his life — could be jeopardized if the detainee exchange proceedings were disclosed or derailed,” as reported in the Associated Press.  (link)

Another incident happened early in the performance when the congressional audience were told the Taliban-5 were some of the worst terrorist leadership we held.

As word began being leaked to the electorate out front the PA announcer jumped into action again:

state dept tweet gitmo 5Gitmo detainees released 2

PAKISTAN – […]  “After arriving in Qatar, Noorullah Noori [Mr. “Shifty Eyes” above] kept insisting he would go to Afghanistan and fight American forces there,” a Taliban commander told NBC News via telephone from Afghanistan.

Noori pushed to return to Afghanistan after learning that the U.S. had provided written assurances that no country would arrest any of the five freed for a year as long as they lived peacefully, one of his relatives told NBC News by telephone from Afghanistan.

under the terms of the deal, the former commanders would remain under the control of the government of Qatar for one year and be subject to “restrictions on their movement and activities,” a senior U.S. official has told NBC News –- including a one-year travel ban. A diplomatic source later told NBC News that their movements within the Arab emirate are not restricted.  (read more)

Once you understand the role of the individual players in the performance, you begin to understand where all of the contradictions are coming from.

Two different scripts, two sets of talking points, two different audiences, one cast of characters.

As incredible, and perhaps hopeful, as this sounds, I’m beginning to believe a larger percentage of the electorate audience has caught on to the ruse inherent in the show.

I’m noticing more and more people looking around the audience.   There are more whispers and murmurs; there’s an apparent general sense of unease as we collectively witness the performance and the notice the strain on the faces of the performers to remain in character.

Is the bloom off the ruse?   Still too early to tell, but we have a firm understanding of the cast.
