Scum Sucking, Pond Water Scum Speaks – Mitch McConnell: We Will ‘Crush’ Tea Party Challengers ‘Everywhere’

WASHINGTON DC – Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) believes that incumbent Republicans won’t have a problem holding their seats in the 2014 elections.

Mitch McConnell

I think we are going to crush them everywhere,” McConnell said about Tea Party challengers in a New York Times interview published Saturday. “I don’t think they are going to have a single nominee anywhere in the country.”

McConnell faces a primary challenge from the right. The Senate Conservatives Fund, which backs Tea Party challenger Matt Bevin, believes the candidate has a chance of defeating McConnell the the primary.

“Mitch McConnell is clearly in trouble in this primary or he wouldn’t be attacking Matt Bevin and declaring war on conservatives,” Matt Hoskins, the head of the SCF, told the New York Times.  (read more)

McCain McConnell

(JOIN THE RESISTANCE ) Despite telling the media for months that he’s way ahead in the Republican primary race against conservative Matt Bevin (R-KY), Mitch McConnell is now lashing out with desperate attacks.

It started earlier this week with a deceptive campaign mailer that was designed to trick voters and to smear Matt Bevin. Here’s how United Kentucky Tea Party described it:

“This past week the McConnell campaign sent thousands of mailers to Kentucky residents marked “Fraud Alert” without any identification as to who had sent the mailers. Kentuckians, concerned that their identities or credit card information may have been stolen, opened the mailers only to find that it was a political mailing from the McConnell campaign containing the same old mudslinging accusations that Senator McConnell has been trying to push for months now.”

Now, Mitch McConnell has launched a new radio ad attacking Matt Bevin and conservatives like you, claiming that we are deceiving people. He’s especially upset because SCF is running effective radio and TV ads that expose his record of voting for bailouts, more debt, higher taxes, and Obamacare funding.

We blew the whistle on his bailout hypocrisy and informed people that he was responsible for recommending the controversial liberal judge who just overturned Kentucky’s ban on same-sex marriage.

Mitch McConnell is attacking conservatives because he’s slipping in the polls and can’t defend his record. He’s done so much to help the Democrats that Harry Reid (D-NV) praised him this week after calling Ted Cruz one of the “crazies.” Harry Reid said, “I like Mitch McConnell.”

Fortunately, Kentucky Republicans have a conservative alternative.

Matt Bevin is different. He’s a businessman, not a politician, and he will fight to stop the spending and debt that are bankrupting our country.

Please support Matt Bevin’s U.S. Senate campaign today.

Matt Bevin (R-KY)The saying goes that first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, and then you win. It’s certainly true in Kentucky.

First they tried to ignore Matt Bevin, then they laughed at him, and now they’re attacking him.

Matt Bevin’s hard work in Kentucky, combined with SCF’s advertising and the excellent on-the-ground efforts of FreedomWorks and Madison Project, are all beginning to show results.

Mitch McConnell is worried and he’s hoping that his nasty attacks will make conservatives back down. We cannot back down.

The future of our country depends on winning this race. Mitch McConnell is not a conservative and he refuses to fight for our principles. We will never be able to stop the liberals from destroying our country with McConnell in charge.

Please make a contribution to Matt Bevin’s campaign today.

SCF pays the processing fees for all candidate contributions so Matt Bevin will receive 100% of the money you designate for his campaign.

Working together, you have raised over $680,000 for his campaign. It’s a lot, but it’s not enough to match McConnell’s $10 million war chest.

That’s why it’s important that every freedom-loving American engage in this race by making a contribution to Matt Bevin’s campaign. Even if you only donate $5, we can win this race if everyone pitches in.   (Senate Conservative Fund LINK)

Gadsden_flagI would willingly cut off my right hand and grind the bones within it to form a spear tip if I knew it would pierce the heart of this Kentucky Corruptocrat.

This guy has GOT TO GO !

What…the incumbent Republicans are going to borrow the Democrats’ voting machines?

  3. LetJusticePrevail" says:

Sounds like McConnell is starting to sweat. GOOD.

Next thing to watch for: Specific smears against Matt Bevin in 3…2…1…

    • CoffeeBreak says:

No doubt about it; he’s sweating like a hooker in church. He’s addicted to the power he wields. He could get out and become another Gulfstream prophet in a Dior hairshirt but he’s not done playing Mayor McCheese. Being a Big Gov’t Republican and sticking it to the American taxpayer is going to haunt him like The Ghost of Christmas Past on Ebenezer Scrooge. Just say “good-bye” you crusty bum! You’re a stinking scourge! Skunks three counties over are crying over their crawdads and roots.

  6. Abagail says:

Lee Stranahan fired by Breitbart News

What might make this relevant to the thread is the reason for the firing. It involves a piece denied publication that involved a PAC collecting money allegedly for the Tea Party then funneling it to Mitch McConnell.

Stranahan: “Ask Brandon why he killed my story about a Tea Party group funneling money to Mitch McConnell”

    • ctdar says:

      Good, guess Breitbart wised up.

    • stella says:

I wondered why they hired him back. His track record for honesty isn’t the greatest.

    • sundance says:

      Oh gee… lemme see.

      Stranahan = a lying liar who lies…

Darby = a “reformed” anarchist and former avowed member of the Occupy Movement who claims to have found conservatism.

Hmmm.? Yep, my GaS meter doesn’t register.

Sometime I might compose a blog post about these insufferable “allies” – who are really nothing more than self-serving, self-absorbed, hitch-a-wagoneers and their cohort usurpers who seek comfort inside a camp of convenience.

Sometime, but not today – my blood pressure is still to high from the insufferable McConnell and people who would espouse he’s good for our cause. 😦

      • FairWitness says:

        Good morning Sundance:

Why do these politicos insist on keeping their jobs, especially Mitch McConnell? He’s been in the US Senate for 30 years. He’s DIRECTLY responsible for the dire straits we’re in today. His failure as a conservative(?) Republican, his failure to champion and fight for our principles, has led us down the road to ruin.

These entrenched, corrupt, cynical Republican party leaders(?) are as useless as tits on a bull. They’ve done nothing to right our ship of state, and in fact, have participated in its going off course.

Failure deserves termination – not reelection! How dare this man actually espouse “crushing” tea party member citizens! He needs to go home to Kentucky and stay there. His time is done!

How can anyone in power today NOT feel ashamed of the colossal catastrophy they’ve created and presided over? Their minds are massively contaminated, putrid, wretched, delusional! If this wasn’t so disgusting, it would be laughable. How on Earth do these “leaders” NOT care about what they’ve done???

    • LetJusticePrevail" says:

Now, there’s a hot mess if I ever saw one. Looks like some infighting between two elements that are both of questionable character.

LS solicits funding from DB, and gets rebuffed, then LS turns around and blasts DB for some (if true) very shady dealings, but BD kills the story, so LS whines to BD’s boss, SB, who pretty much tells LS to “suck it up” and “go along to get along” but LS refuses to do so.

So, what are the facts, and what things are in dispute, and what things are on the table but fall into a category of un-addressed allegations?

FACT: from the e-mails we positively know that LS did ask DB to find financial backers for his next trip. From the same source we also know that LS tried to claim he didn’t ask DB to do this. LS can’t have it both ways. (L word comes to mind here)

IN DISPUTE: LS claims he was fired by BD, BD says he wasn’t fired, and BD’s boss is (kinda?) on record as telling LS “I’m busy… take this up with your boss, BD”. Doesn’t really sound like LS was actually fired (and remember-he was submitting “piece-work” and had not signed a long term contract-was there a written agreement between Breitbart and LS for his submissions?) so did LS quit? Did he simply stop making submissions to Breitbart, or has Breitbart simply stopped accepting submissions from him altogether?

UN-ADDRESSED: LS laid out some very serious accusations against DB, and he seems to have presented a pretty good case against DB. (He names names, he names $$ amounts, and he names the intermediaries -various PAC’s- and appears to present documentation to back it up.) Granted we’ve already documented what LS is. But, that still does not address the particular allegations that LS made. Could they be true? Is anyone bothering to investigate the veracity of the flowchart he presented?

Did BD ignore a story that could be important? What, specifically caused BD to reject it?
What is SB’s position about that story? Does he find the documentation flawed?

      • Abagail says:

Your summaries are always so good.

LS is a known liar, but that doesn’t mean everything he says is a lie. If these allegations are true it’s an amazing story that shouldn’t be summarily dismissed. Did DB reject it as a personal strike against LS, or us this a major cover up? It’s a serious story.

  7. Chip Bennett says:

You know why the TEA party is coming after you, Mitch? Because you reserve your fiercest fights for those with whom you claim to agree ideologically, while never missing an opportunity to acquiesce to your ideological opponents.

Would that you would go after Harry Reid with the same fire with which you’re attacking Bevin. But you don’t. Because you’re a political-class elitist first, and a partisan ideologue second.

Screw you. We’re coming for you, and everyone like you – everyone who would see our nation and our freedoms die by a death of a thousand papercuts, so that you can maintain your status in the District cocktail-party circuit.

  8. doodahdazee says:

Allow me to get my violin and play him a sad song. OK you do not need my help Mitch I get it. Have a nice retirement.

Got a little bit of money coming in on Tuesday. It looks like a straight credit card thing so I can do it.
Matt Bevin is such a fine man
      .In Mitch McConnells case
sometimes I think some people can live too long
Now if I can just get that PayPal mess straightened out.

  9. Is the gravy train over for Republicans such as MM? Only time will tell, but it is really all up to the voter.

  10. 2bvictorius says:

    Got the itch, Ditch Mitch.

  11. czarowniczy says:

Yeah yeah yeah -a disillusion Hitler in the bunker, April 1945, marshaling and directing non-existent armies. A typical magical-thinking DemocRAT – the termites will all fall to their multiple knees and worship us for banning the Orkin man.

  12. daveburton says:

Matt Bevin has no chance against McConnell in the primary. Even he probably knows that.

The real question is whether Matt Hoskins (a/k/a “Senate Conservatives Fund,” which should be called “Senate Lying RINOs Fund”) will succeed with his lies in so damaging the Republican cause that McConnell loses to a Democrat in November, thus almost certainly ensuring that the Democrats maintain control of the U.S. Senate.

    • rovatek says:

Wrong, Bevin is going to wipe the floor with Mitch and then clean up again in the election.

    • sundance says:

Well daveburton, if that were true you wouldn’t see Mitch McConnell sending out fraudulent campaign mailers would you ?

Did you even read the post ?

Question: What is your background, employer, address and telephone number ? (You can use email) thanks..

  13. justfactsplz says:

Don’t tread on the Tea Party Mitch. You will be the one to be squashed. You are a traitor to your party. Game on. It’s time to raid the piggy banks for Bevin. We need Palin to campaign for Bevin.

  14. Col(R) Ken says:

    I’m in for Matt!!

  15. saltwater says:

Hell yeah !!! Bring Palin in !!! Jus sayin…..
