Has anyone provided good reason for Obama expelling the Russians?
Don’t understand why ur question is posed on this thread, rather than the daily Presidential thread. But the answer is, I believe, increasing hostility bet the Russians and the incoming U.S. administration, increased the credibility of the Russians stuffing up the 2016 election hoax. It also raised the apparent need for new administration point liaison Gen. Flynn to become involved in discussing the sure to come tit for tat expelling of diplomats, that things would subside, once the new Trump administration assumed office. Gen. Flynn’s communications then fit the narrative, of Flynn supposedly improperly communicating w the Russians.
The last couple of ,minutes of the video had to do with spygate.
The expulsion was likely timed for when LG Flynn was on vacation outside mainland US…Obama admin knew Flynn and Russian ambassador would talk on the phone, providing more fodder to set Flynn up. Worked like a charm, esp as the two separate events, expulsion and sanctions, have been conflated. (Tell a lie over and over, and the truth is buried)
The expulsions could have taken place in 2014 when Russian interference was first identified. The timing, a few days before Trump’s inauguration, indicates it was part of the attempted collusion hoax and the setting up of General Flynn.

The expulsion of Russian diplomats (probably included spies since most countries’ diplomats are also spies either formally or informally) was merely bait – to cause the Russkies to call Flynn (the incoming President’s National Security Advisor) and find out WTF was going on. it worked exactly as planned but Flynn was smart enough to NOT make any official policy actions, but simply hold off the Russkies until after January 2.
But Ozero’s liars and criminals falsely accused Flynn of doing exactly what Flynn carefully avoided. And Pence misunderstood what Flynn did versus didn’t do, since the word “sanctions” had two different meanings regarding Russia at that point.

Remember there was no “unmasking” of Flynn from the surveillance recordings of his phone calls with Kislyak. Flynn was never “masked” to begin with on the phone calls between Flynn (vacationing in Costa Rica) and Kislyak, wherever he was at the time.
We’ve seen transcripts of the call in question, and it was pretty clear Flynn did NOT say what he was accused of saying by Strzok et al. Plus the evidence showed that Strzok held onto the handwritten notes he and Pientka created in their car immediately after the WH meeting, but the facts were subsequently altered for the the 302 that he and Pientka created to summarize their interrogation of Flynn at the WH.

As far as authorized vs ordered and hopefully, our POTUS has said many times that “hopefully” Bondo will bring justice to the dirty cops/ coup plotters, “we caught them all” and “we have the tapes”. I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, but if you aren’t logged in to a google account (which I won’t do) they put these very long, UNSKIPPABLE commercials in front which they force you to watch before getting to the actual video. Sometimes they go as long as 30 MINUTES. This makes the media in your articles essentially unwatchable.
Sorry for kind of going off topic, but I felt this needed to be brought up since it just happened in this article making me unable to respond to the actual article (since I refused to watch the 5-minute long commercial) and it’s getting extremely annoying.

Using TOR Browser ( https://www.torproject.org/ ) on my PC (not ‘smartphone’), am not logged in to *any* account when reading my daily sites (such as CTH); and that video at the top of this article came right up with no ads at all, in it’s full 8-min’ish glory.
That’s my typical experience. Sometimes, youtube’s may have a 30-second ad, which is typically “skippable” after maybe 5-to-10-seconds.
Not sure why the difference, but your experience doesn’t seem ubiquitous (thankfully). Thus, it may be “fixable” for you somehow.
My experience is the same as “iswhatitis” above, but I use Firefox on my laptop.
I also don’t log into any accounts but read and comment on several blogs and don’t suffer the extended adverts as “Just Some Guy” reported.
